I won?!...How did that happen? | | Björn Andreasson from Gothenburg, Sweden says (12/Dec/2001): | I am a 34 year old lawyer, and I donīt consider myself a dumb guy. But Iīll be damned I ever figure this one out. My usual approch to a game is to simply start playing and learn as I go along. This didnīt work well on Kessen. There are tons of options, menus and special moves. In brief, I found out that the game is very time-consuming to master. The other thing I found out is that you donīt need to bother. The game practically drags you towards victory.
The graphics are not very impressive. The gameplay is frequenty interrupted by animations. You soon get bored with them.
The music and sound is good though. Another good thing about the game is that you learn a thing or two about japanese history.
There might be good game hidden somewhere in this mess, but I donīt have the patience to find out.
