Overall, I didn't like this game. | | A gamer from Spring Texas, United States. says (23/Sep/2003): | I've liked Batman for a long time. When I was younger, I watched the oldie shows all the time. But this game takes the cake! Positives: the graphics are pretty decent and the voices are pretty close. Negatives: Anytime Batman gets more health he sounds like he just took one for the team, and he is about to kill over instead of get better. I found the controls rather confusing and difficult. Whoever made this game could have done a lot better on how they put it all together. I think this game is a disgrace to all Batman fans.

I just played this game B4, and i want 2 right a review. OK..Batman: Vengeance is...well how can i put it?....DC can do better. The gameplay is mostly just DARK. I had 2 put on my TV brightness really high. The weapons take time 2 set up...i died just 2 use the "Bat Grapple". The people look like stupid comic book characters, and the subtiles r hard 2 read. Don't buy ANY Batman game. Y buy it 4 $34?
| Childs game my butt | | miles bentley from salisbury, england says (1/Jan/2002): | When my brother Mathew bought this game for a nifty £20, I thought it would be a cheaply made childs game involving the bat.
When my brother put the game on and played the first level, I thought to myself, what a great looking game. I sat their for ages watching my brother beat baddies, save girls and glide off buidings, I was really desperate for a go. About and hour had gone since my brother put it on and he finally gave me the controller. I was so suprised the game played like a dream and the differculty level was about medium. This was the best batman game ever. Any fan should buy this great game.

It combines all of the evil guys directly/indirectly like Joker, Harley Quinn, Mr. Freeze, Poison Ivy, etc., and also includes Batgirl, Commisioner Gordon. Man, i can tell u one thing for sure that i have waited 4 this game 4 quite a long time but I was literally blown off when the Ubisoft guys[whos also did Spiderman]broke all the grounds. I had a real mindblowing experience and only i know that how i got past thru' all the 22 levels.Batmobile is better than ever and the best part is the new improved hi-tech gadgetry ranging 4rom Batcommunicator, Flash bombs, Batlauncher, handcuffs, Batscope, Remote charges, Batarangs and especially the Batgrapple which happens 2 b my favourite. Now he can even climb, sneak, slide, glide, etc.,..!!
The sound is dark at times and it brings out the kid in you. I RATE THIS GAME 10++++++++.! My sincere luv 2 all the True Batman fans across the world. "oo" thanx 2 Stationplay 4 giving 2 me a chance 2 Xpress myself to the all the Gamrz across the world. All u Batguys can contact me at:-
