Great game! When I have started to play I was deeply dissapointed by the graphics, worse than in Nemesis for PS One! I have spent so much money for PS 2, so what hell does it mean? Only the entering FMV´s seemed to be well done. BUT! After a few hours I completely changed my mind as for the game quality! I have never been so catched by any PS title. I have been playing this so many hours a day that I was getting a bit mad from that ... I like especially the great sense for the game creating from CAPCOM artists. They perfectly know how to mix realism and arcade for the greatest joy. The Resident Evil serie is much more exciting than for example Silent Hill (which is anyway great too) just because of the better mixture of realism and a specific game spice. One example: when You enter some big house in RE You will find about six rooms there. In Silent Hill You are running through one million noninteresting (although beautifully created) rooms in every floor and fun is rapidly falling down. And, besides that, the deformations of realism create a deep sense of dream in RE and the game slowly becomes a part of your life ... Shortly: go. buy it and keep playing for the first hour, and I think You will love it. Or I am simply a Resident Evil mad fan ...

This new version of Resident Evil is much better, better than Survivor, etc. The graphics are even better and the dualshock2 gives the game even more suspense. Claire is more perfect on this version, her face is better and the graphics at all. The only mistake is that she doesn't have the appropriate reactions in many parts of the game. She is a woman, right? So, the women scream, get scary, etc, but her not! That makes the game a bit sad, because an horror game is great when the one is a woman, they scream, fall when running, etc, so it keeps the horror basics at all. In the biological room or something, she saw a beast smashing the head of a human right on her face behind the floor, a normal woman, even a man, would go to the floor in that momment! But Claire was even appreciating the scene behind the mirror, without any emotional changes. Ok, little details, but sometimes importants, and important things are big details. Otherwise, the game is great and well done, Veronica X rocks!!! I'll give it a 9. :-)

After playing all the r.e. games here's a quick summary of them all: r.e. 1-was a great game, great plot, good action, ok graphics for ps1 not that great though, awful acting r.e. 2 wicked plot excellent sequel best of the first 3 r.e. 3-great new features, ran on a bit too long, plot kinda sucked, better graphics. Now with that id prob. say this is the best one ive played, wesker comes back and is kick ass, unreal plot, great characters, zombies were perfect. The only problem ive found about the r.e. series is the repetitiveness of some parts with the you need this key, and the continuos self destruct system...but it's fantastic anyways so i really dont care.
I'd have to say this is by far the best r.e. yet.

OH my god capcom making surviver really made me stop playing RE games for a while ... that is until u made this...yes plz make more like this best survival horror game ever... silent hill cant compete with dis.. parasite eve haha i burned my parasite eve games wen i played RE this is a REALLY good game...good graphics (best graphics ive seen besides final fantasy X) great sound... awesome story line... good job capcom best game yet keep it up... two thumbs up! 10 outta 10.. heck 100 outa 100 im not kidding good game i really really like the duel guns unlike any other RE gamez... if your gonna make anotha RE game it had betta be GOOD to be better than this....all in all GREAT JOB!

I bought this game used for 15 dollars. Devil may cry demo inside made the purchase a little more soothing. I am a fan of the Resident evil Series to a point. After the first two games for PSX came out I gave it up. Now I am back in the saddle. If you have played the previous Resident Evils than you know what to do. If you have not played before....a walk through maybe helpful. Those stupid one armed creatures are very annoying in this game. They are ugly and stupid...and hard to kill at first. I enjoy the fact that my girlfriend enjoys watching me play this game because of the storyline. When I finish the game...and purchase Devil May Cry....I may see you all on Ebay.

To the person who said the monsters with the long arm that hits you : yea they do suck and hard to kill but once you get used to kiling them its kinda fun to see where they will pop up next. So far i have played the first resident evil,the second and i havent got to finish the nemisis but im working on it..yes it takes me a while to beat the game cause i dont use cheats or anything which most of you probably dont..but yea code veronica has a wicked awsome story line and the cut scenes are great and the graphics are amazing,. I also got my code veronica game for a cheap price but i didnt get the devil may crt cd..so..im kinda mad..But yea it is a GREAT game

This game series is this best ever and this game here has the best graphics yet. You'd have to play the first few to know who some of the characters are like wesker, Chris,and Claire. If you like cool zombie games this is the one to get. You get to use cool weapons like the Flame Thrower, Uzi's, Grenade Launcher, and my personal favorite the Beretta. I have all the Resident Evil games for PS and PS2 and I think the Resident Evil series is the greatest. The latest two Resident Evil games coming to the PS2 are RESIDENT EVIL ONLINE and RESIDENT EVIL: DEAD AIM.
The only downside of the Resident Evil's is that you can't play as a ZOMBIE!!!!.

I love ressie evil, it rules from way back in the day of the mansion and the scrpited plot. Code VX is great a marvel of gaming. After many hours of nerve racking pooh panting action u complete the game and try to tie in this story line with the previous ones and you cant. Okay claire is there for her bro. Chris knows Jill from RE1 when they left the mansion. Jill ran away in RE3 (alone) and was never heard of again. Claire knows Leon and Leon knows NOBODY. its all a bit long winded and with RE Zero out and the online edition about to hit the shelves are they not going to start to finalize a plot!!!!!!!!

I liked the game. It was neat,scary but theres one thing that made me mad. Steve dies. Why does that have to happen? Well atleast Chris Redfield didnt die. Well anyway I played all the Resident Evils and this one was the best. I first got my playstation 1 with Resident Evil Directors cut thinking it was the best thing in the world. But last Christmas I got a PS2 with a few games and one of them was Resident Evil Code Veronica X and nerly pissed my self playing it.This has got to be one of the most gory,fun,scary and realistic games ever.I love this game. Its the best ever!

Resident Evil code veronica x is the best one yet.The graphics are much better and it has a good storyline to it.And the monsters on it are much better , harder to kill and scarier.It is much longer than all the other ones because on all the other ones you just stayed in one place like a mansion or a police station.But on this one you go to a prison , palace,an airport which is underwater,Thhis other wierd place which i dont know what its called and you go back to the mansion whiich is on number 1.And two of the characters from number one r in it too.

I enjoyed this version. It was a nice addition to the series.The bosses and the new monsters were exellent. The puzzles were a bit too easy. That is why I have to give it nine stars. I prefer a game that tests you until the end. But other than that,it is a masterpiece. The spooky twins were a great addition to the series. Also, the ending was very dramatic, prehaps a touch overdone. I liked this game a lot. I highly reccomend it. Even though it has been out a while, it still packs a super
punch! The fun factor is limitless.

THIS GAME IS SO COOL I like playing it so much. You may only have a few bullets and have to dodge alot but once you get the hang of it, its an easy game to play. I love watching the cutscenes its like watching flim. The only thing I'am unhappy about is the self destruct systen, why do they keep doing that? you thought they could come up with something new. If you're an RE fan like me you should get this game you're love it.

I like this resident evil more then a few of the others. First it's more challenging in ammunition and guns like 15 bullets a box?! and for certain weapons you only have 1 chance to get like the grenade launcher and magnum. Tho, the amount and quality of puzzles put me down, only like 10 puzzle that took me like 30 secs each. overall this is a pretty good game, good job capcom and dont sell to nintendo (so rumors say).

I don't know what sum of the other reviewers said about this game have dissapointing graphics, I thought the graphics were execellent. Nemesis's graphics arent as near as good as this game... The only dissapointing thing to me about this game is the shotgun isnt as powerful(except close headshots) and how the camera moves while you move unlike the other RE games, but I did get used to it.

I have liked the resident evil saga from the very begining and i must say how well the storyline has continued through all the resident evils. The puzzles got harder in this one and i couldent stop playing it coz i wanted to know more :). If another resident evil comes out i would love to play it coz if it is going to be anything like this one then we are all in for a very big surprise! :)

When I started this game it was good but, during the part when the plane crashes in Antartica I got lost and don't know how I will be able to beat the game without knowing where you have to go. Although i bought it for twenty Quid i was utterly suprised at the graphics i was quite dissapointed, i hate it when you look at the back of a game and all it shows are FMV's but after plaing it i soon realise its o.k i have also played on the Cube version which is much better for ONCE! To some up definate room for improvement but for twenty quid is it really that bad?

Jesus!this game is absolutely good!I have never played such a brain-twisting,wise game!More than likely,this game will beat all bestsellers in a very short period of time.The best, to my opinion,are endless mazes and puzzles,which is good.Engine is enchanted,graphics are more than perfect,zombies behave in the way zombie supposed to be...What else can i say?Very good.

Resident evil 3 was brilliant from there it all went wrong resi evil code v is hard boring and more boring you only get a few bullets at a time claire just ponders round the place like a model and the storyline is rubbish resident evil 3 was the best it had a cool character (Jill) and a cool story line capcom realy need to make the next resident evil worth buying.

Resident Evil Code Veronica X is an updated version of the big Dreamcast hit Code Veronica.It has all new features and the story line is a tiny bit different.You mostly do alot of stuff that was in the original.There is one new important character.This is the most scary Resident Evil game and the most polished.New weapons.But I really like the story line.
