It's a really sad game but lots of action. you can get cheats that really help you a lot!! but the problem with the cheats is that you go much faster, but its realy awsome!! EVERYBODY OUT THERE WHOSE A FAN OF ONI, TELL EVERYBODY TO TRY IT! if you realy dont know about oni, you should give it a shot. YOU SHOULD!!!! I beat the whole game but I still go back to play it sometimes.it makes me have a realy cool fealling inside.
:) i totaly dont agree with the 1st 2 people that said that the controls SUCK!!!! No Way! it's a really good position for your hands! and i dont get why they dont think oni is an AWSOME game!
I mean, it's got every thing you want in a cool game. don't you people agree with me? (anyone in the back?!) ...if you havent played it, u HAVE to!! oni ROCKS! over and out!! (by the way, I'M A GIRL, AND GIRLS WON'T LOOK STUPID PLAYING THESE GAMES!!!)

The game seems good at first, but after a while it gets really stupid! Belive me, they ruin it, it goes from a factory selling illegal equipment to a young android girl who is self destructed! Not to mention the graphics suck! The gameplay is broing after about an hour, not to mention the controls are $#< remove me > at ! and very complicated. The game has good sound effects and it is good if you play it about twice a month, but it is fairly boring and pointless at times if you ask me!
| Good, but could be better...much better | | Cyst from NYC, USA says (20/Dec/2002): | I like this game for it's idea, the game designers did some serious thinking for this game. They did jack some ideas though, like the thermo-optic camo.(ghost in the shell?...?) However, the game fell apart at the programming stage. MAJOR playability issues here. for one, the controls are clumsy at best. for number two, the opponent AI is basically missing a lot of brain cells...ALOT. Although Rockstar was partly involved in making this game (GTA3 and GTA vice city) you can see that this game is the base for GTA3 and so forth for rockstar games. I truly hope that another version of this game is released, with it's playability issues resolved and graphics improved. If you ask me, it's not worth the money, unless you can get it used...which should be under $15. It's not worth a penny more. one more thing, hope you have alot of patience cause you are gonna need it get through this mess.

| | Manav Gandhi.. from INDIA.. says (6/Nov/2001): | What v have here is one of those real kick-ass, hot-action game in which u control "ONI" who can kick butt with a kung-fu style[a la Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan] as well as with her hi-fi weapons even if she runs out of ammo. The camera view & simutaneously controlling her movements can be a little tough, but i think that once u get accustomed 2 them, then it'll b real fun. Bungie has done a real nice job as they created "ONI" in which the backgrouns, colors, animation, graphics are really cooooooool man, believe me man!!. The freedom which u get while controlling Oni in a 3D world is excellent. Once u buy this game, u will know that it was worth every penny and this game happens 2 b one of those rare games which set standards and makes gaming real fun and exciting at the same time. The end is rather sad as i don't think that there will be any sequel 2 it as "Oni" discovers her real,own true identity which is quite shocking in fact. If u ever see it's demo, u will see a big iron robot which looks like as if it is the real boss but sadly the Bungie eliminated the big iron guy just before it's release. They say that their new game "HALO" will set new standards but frankly speaking, "ONI" is one hell of a game and playing it was a real experience. It will definitely remain among my personal favourite games of all time. Check out the "onicentral", their site and u will know that this game means some serious business. Play it 2 believe it and i hope that u will enjoy it 2 just as i did[really freaked out]. Welcome 2 the new world of CyberGaming!!!!!!!!My luv 2 all the Oni fans across the world....!!!!
