Dark Cloud is so cool. I guaranty you will love it. You get to build your own town, and fight monsters in the dungeons. You get awesome allies and fantastic weapons. You can also catch fish. you can buy weapons and items with the points you earn from fishing. It's the best game ever. I can play this game for hours and hours. Just ask my Mom. It's challenging and entertaining and will not bore you. There are many ways to upgrade your weapons. The graphics are cool. One of the best weapons is a sword called the 7th Heaven. Take my word for it you will totally think this game is great.

I thought it would be OK. I got it and everything was just too hard. The stupid weapons kept on breaking you can't save out of the dungeons and it takes to freaking long to build up a weapon! They need more moves then just slash, slash, slash, slash, jump slash. It gets boring hitting the same monster everytime with the same move. And Goro sounds like he is a dieing duck. Everytime he hits something it sounds like a quack. I thought he was gonna be an awesome tough hunter but then he starts quacking. Completely random and stupid. Building the stupid buildings was too much work too. All in all it was a pretty meadeoker game.

I bought this game a long time ago. Thinking it would be another useless game I put it away in a closet, but to my suprise when I was really bored I started to play it. It is one of the best games I have ever played! If you liked Kingdom Hearts and the Sims this one is a must for all christmas lists!!!

This is the greatest Ps2 game ever!!! I really like being Xiao with the slingshot shes the funnest character! I love rebuilding villages and guessing what the traps are for the big treasure chest then getting a Last Judgment Hammer (Goros third best weapon starts with 99 attack) In Divine Beast Dungeon its so much fun!!!

i loved the game,the graphics are cool,hat i liked best about it is dueling,i get excellents on every duel i play,the reason i took off 2 stars is because i didnt like it that weapons break and i didnt like thirst but other than that it was AWESOME!!!

Whe I first got this game, it was like OK, another long, pointless RPG. Then I really got into it and it wa like WHOA!!!
It was like no other game I had ever played! Every little thing you do can change the whole storyline!! It rocks. Let me repeat that, IT ROCKS!!!!!

The only thing good about this game is that you get to rebuild the little village. The rest like battling is very very crappy I wish I hadn't bought it. Should have rented it first,If your looking for a game for Christmas don't make it this one. I could exchange it for a game at movie gallary! I'll Twist this game so much it'll probly break. dark cloud has to be one of the BEST rpgs for the PS2 out there!
I bought this games at Wal-Mart for 20$!!! I thought o well ill buy it to blows off some time. i soon found myself trying to get past the second boss in the game in under six hours of play time! One of the best games out there and it should be only around 20 bucks!

I really enjoyed playing this game because the concept is awsome, the weapons are great. The reason why I took two stars away is because there is no voice actors and dubs, and second of all they could have been a little clearer with they're choice of words. Overall, this is a great game and it was definetly worth the work to best it. :)

i got the game an guess what?I LOVE IT. i could not beat dran. the next time i played it i beat him.i got the serpent sword and built it up into uh i cant remember.
but i built that up into drain seeker then built that up to the dark cloud sword and built that up to the 7th heavan sword. cool a.and ive got to the demon shaft.to get there you have to beat the game whatch the credits and it will say a new world has been opened on the world map and youre there right.

Dark cloud is a game of intellagence and money. knowing how to defeat your enemy to say wich Attribute it's weak agenst is a good way to say you've got intellagence. keeping track of your money is a bad example of you liking the game. For example #1, say you want to buy attribute atachments in the game(good way to use money)2,But you dont have enough money. So you go to the dungen just because you want money(Bad way to use money). (Stop examples) Let's say you want to build up your reqest status. Talk to every one in the houses ya know There homes and ask them how you should rebuild there citys. well that's my reveiw see ya!

hi every 1 i was just playing this GREAT game today and i was using osmond's blessing gun+5. i busted it up into a sinth sphear and it sutomaticly switched to his (busted) machine gun. and u know how the blessing gun is like a flame thrower? the machien gun did that insted!!! how cool is that? any way i think this game is a 10 star all aroung=d game. i mean look at it. and also... the lamb sword, (built-up wise owl sword) that they thaught u could only get from building up the owl sword? guess who got it in a chest? i did! and i got 2 drin seekers in a chest!!! so i just thaught id tell u that. DARK CLOUD RULES!!!

I love the animation ((thats the reason i was looking at this game, the cover cartoon...)) I didn't know much bout the game. As soon as I brought it home I played it and was amazed. A couple of days later my whole family was in love with it. Its an awesome game.

If you want a game that is really hard to beat get DARK CLOUD!The thirst meater goes away to fast and the weapon durabillity just take the fun out of the game!Cause like every 2 minutes you have to check everything I think they should have made it like ZELDA!Instead of having your sword break every five seconds!And you have to get out of the dungeons to save!That really bites!Cause when you save out of the dungeon you start at the beginning of the level your on!Plus they make the bosses too hard!Overall this game stinks!

This game tottaly rocks. When I first played it I really got into it, I could not and would not stop playing it. I got so annoyed every time I died from La saia. I stoped Playing it. I recently got back into it. Im already fighting the dark genie. To tell you the truth I think Its a real rip off cause he can damage you by flaping his wings. Ican understanded pushhing you to the wall and damageing you but really. Any ho, I think this game really kicks arse

An absolute ingenius game. i say the best relaxation of my rpg addiction.The time setting and plot aren't like any other ive ever seen.I call the 3-d dungeons for the first time ever ive actually been challenged its just so incredible,the characters the weapons (&weapon health!).I praise the makers.

I love RPGs. To iterate, I LOVE RPGS. They are the sole reason I am a gamer. I have played every single Final Fantasy for the Playstation, pending ORIGINS. Without Final Fantasy 7, I would be posting my review of some salad shooter right now. When I heard of this ambitious product, at first, I thought it would blow. How could they pull this stupid Georama off? It isn't good to base your entire ad campaign off of a gamble premise. The game turned out, though, to be pretty darned good. First off, lets look at some negatives. The georama is awful. It doesn't allow for very much customization, and seems to be a chore just as much as a fun diversion. Also, the weapon system is a little iffy. It is a big waste to work up Toan's sword, because you can't level it up to it's ultimate form until the end of the bonus dungeon. It is just too easy to abuse the weapons system, and that is that. All that aside, this is a above average dungeon crawler that will reach even the most hardcore of RPGers. It is a Zelda-like battle system, with some nice variety in enemies, though bosses are a little in the shallow for strategies. Fishing is fun and very(repeat: very, extremely, abso-freaking-lutely)necessary part of leveling up to the extreme. The diamond, my vote for best item in the game, is way too easy to get. Overall, I think the game has enough playability to make up for it's flaws.
