gallop racer for reviews should be improved, playing gallop racer 4 and in the next 2005 or 2006 edition a main attraction should be, you should be allowed to work out your horses in between races like in real life,to condition them, either on a practice track or live track, their should be a fantasy section in the game where you can go into the racing hall of fame and race legends of the greatest sport on earth. Also their should be live auction where you can breed and sell your horse, actual vet station departments to check on your horse, and realistic attractions if a horse is lame to be able to scratch,breakdowns due to neglect and more reality based attractions in the racing sport.

Gallop Racer 2001 is a game that anyone could play, even if you dont have any horses or have been around them. The music is ok but could be better. The graphics are really good, they almost look like live horses. I think that there should be a wider selection of colors for the horses. Also, you should be able to feed your horse, brush, saddle and take care of it. You should be able to walk around and go to a stable.This game is really fun, my 9 year old cousin really likes it. They have really unique names for the horses. Some of them are really funny. This game has a pretty high value, it is high quality. GR4 is one of the best, tecmo has really done a great job with it.

I've been playing this game for awhile, and I'm still not bored, even after beating it! I reached the point to where my horses can't lose, but I always seem to find (and defeat) a new rival. ;) My point being, there is always something new to discover. The game has it's faults, but over all, besides GR3, it's the best horse racing game out there!

This is the best racing game out of any sport and country or any video game system. It is a must have if you want a good, long lasting time, and very very fun game. I play this game everyday and dont get bored. This is a great game for the whole family to enjoy.

Totally awesome and cool game for a horseman or anyone who loves the sport. The only knock is there should be more longshots winning in watch mode.But i'll give it a 10. The season mode is cool with the triple crown and stuff. The graphics are much improvesd.

It is the priemier racing game for anyone. The graphics are sooooo much better than the ps game that it is not even funny. The Watch mode needs more longshots and that would be the only knock. The music is okay but could be better. The season mode is cool. I love the 3 triple crown races they have

Personally, I'd recommend the 2003 version of this, but 2001 is also very nice. The gambling mode gives you a great way to practice your wagering before you head out to the track. The control layout is top-notch. The tutorial that the game gives you the first time you play is easy to follow. A nice game overall

I think gallop racer 2001 is awsome,but you need to have a new one like gallop racer 3. What you need in this game is to be able to walk in your own barn pick a horse and put the tack on, then take it out to the race track, After you mount the horse. There should be a pasture for the horse to go in. And different color of horses! I did so research and a Thoroughbred can come in any color! I agree with the other writer about the music but I will give you a 9.6 Thanks

The game, graphics, and sounds are absalutly amazing! the best horse racing game out there! Although, the music does need more of an upbeat then more of a musical theme. The graphics in this game are awsome there is alot of detail on the horses and on the track. Though, there is not gambaling in the season mode, it is still a grat game. If there would be a Gallop Racer 3, it would need better music, and more jockey sense *interacting with the horse* it would be great if u actually train the horse and ride it before going onto the track. :it would bring realisum to the game: and it would need betting or gambuling in the season mode. Other then that i'd give the game 9.5!!
