i like all sort of car games and also like action games. well when i first heard about gta 3 i thought i will try it out and then had a go and couldnt belive how amazing it is, it is one of the best games for ps2 and has good quality in a game action, driving, comedy

Well great, they FINALLY made a Grand Theft Auto game worth playing! THE GOODS: So-So frame-rate, good graphics, nice options. THE BADS: Sometimes game runs slower than your average slug, The game, in my opinion, is too short. That just about sums it up... like stealing cars and running people over on the side-walk? Then buy it!

GTA3 is a brilliant display of gaming technology. It is just a superb game. But the worst part and the only reason it gets a low score is it can (for some people) get real boring very easly. You just go around killing anyone and everyone. If any parents reads this get the game for your kid please.

This is a fun game... untill the lack of realism and energy kick in. Then it's boring. Why does our man never speak? He just sort of nods when recieving a mission. Maybe his head was hit in the beginning curtscene at the explosion on the bridge??? The stuff you can do in this game is wonderful but after awhile I just had to ask myself why the hell I wanted to blow up a freighter full of "SPANK" (a drug). The driving force in this game is simply it's "cool factor;" the instint gratification of hijacking a car and assasinating mob bosses. For me the cool factor lasts about 20min and then it's no longer funny or exciting.
UNREAL had soul, DOOM had soul, HALF LIFE had soul! Deus Ex is my favorite game because like GTA 3 it has elements of every gaming genra, but it's also got a truly compelling storyline, good enough to make a novel out of.
In UNREAL not a single word is spoken, instead players read countless messages left by dead people who also attempted to escape the planet. The beauty of the planet and messages gave that game soul and made me really want to rip the guts out of the alien populus. Every enemy that hit the dust gave me some serious gratification. I can't say that about GTA3 because I really don't care what the hell happens to the guy with the bad hair who the players control. In the end GTA3 is another game falling victim to the idea that if you make a game with best and brightest of a bunch of things like AI and graphics and physics algorithms that everyone will declare it a groundbreaker and buy it. The eye candy does'nt matter if the game isi'nt inspired. Tetris is still a fun game, and quite the opposite of GTA3. Tetris has almost no cool factor, it's really boaring at first, but the more it's played the more fun it is. Games like Deus Ex that are really appetising and have soul and are inspired will be fun.

Gta Was the best game I ever Played! The Only down fall is the music. It Was the worst music I ever heared. The Channel chater box is crap! It does the same people over and over then it gets boring very fast. Since the others are crap I just leave it off. The sound effects for the guns where great. I really liked the cars. There were very cool! My favorit car is the bansee. That car was great but it looses control in the rain. I really liked the rocket lancher in the game. It is great for alot of missions. If you wanted to go on a spree the rocket lancher is the best job. It Can take out a thousand helcopters ( if you have enough amo). The game is unreall but it is the greatest. You can get away with Anything. If you are deciding To get the game get it right away.

This is the best game, because the game has incredible game play and extraordinary graphics. The characters are very cool. And the gangs are very crazy. Gta 1,2 were good, but when gta 3 for ps2 came out it was awesome I still today have not even touched my other games, i am hooked on this incredible game. The cars are sweet, and the weapons are very cool. Now i just can’t wait to see gta vice city, gta 3 is the best game out there a sure must buy indeed. gta 3 is the top game of all time and always will be. i cant wait to see the futures games of gta. I mean I didn’t think a game could be better than driver once i played it but I was wrong. gta 3 lets you run around and you can do anything, and the missions are fun. I hope gta vice city is just as good as gta 3, I bet it will be.

Grand Theft Auto 3 is quite an exciting game. It provides all the fun you can think of that you would want in a true video game: Shooting, Stealing, Killing, Fast-pace Car Racing, Explosions, Etc. This game is based on real life which is maybe why it is so popular. Although there are non-believable feats like crashing into people and killing some while not getting into any cop trouble. Also with some minor glitch problems that i have run into once and awhile. The game is overall enjoyable with 73 challenging at first missions involving mob shootings, delivering prostitutes, and other objectives. It has a wide arrange of cars with even boats, subway, and a train to take. The radio provides a real-life experience adding to the night/day concept making it even more real. This game in other words is like taking your dream of being a crook and mobster and bringing them to life. Watch out tho, the star-level at the top of your screen will tell how wanted you are to the cops, ranging from one-star; police car: two-stars; more police cars: three-stars; helicopter: four-stars; swat team: five-stars; FBI agents: and finally six stars with the entire army after you. In conclusion-This is a worth-while game to buy, trust me.

i liked it sooooo much,it is unreal how much i enjoyed it BUT!!! there is many things that are missing: Manuverability-being able to look and react to your surroundings easy. The Fear Effect-the way i call it and what it means is,to make it harder,make you really sweat for it,you know,when you lose you fu#< remove me > at ing lose big time,not just waking up in a hospital or a police station... and a bunch more that,to be honest,they already added in vice city,like ditching acar while it is still moving,and shooting inside cars and not only damaging the car but killing the driver... overall the best there is,was but a better will come...

Everything good about this game graphics pics girls cars they were all good every mission is fun but hard for some took me days to finish at least one mission but still its fun and did I mention about the cars they are fast and great and good lookin almost like those girls I would recommend this game for teens and adults kids just aren't just good enough for it.The kids will learn cussing and the part where you pick up the (wink wink shabong shabong and the awooga awooga)it just wouldnt fit them to here those sounds

look this game has alot of problems like the grafics sucks A$$ the cars are not actully cars. they are boxes with weels and you will not drive it like a reel car. the missions are a way too easy and after that it stinks after you play for an hour you will feel like turning off the consel and sleep in your parents bed pretty grose huh!!! ill tell you one thing RENT BEFORE YOU BUY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought this game and can't stop playing. it is more addictive than smoking. you can do basically anything and one thing that truly amazed me was that you can save after beating it! every time it's something new i've played vice city also and wrote a reveiw for that game as well. but this one has to come close to it. you can kill, rob, and just cause trouble. and it is a great stress releaver. it has great cheats and many different kinds of cars and people. you work for the mob, the yakuza, yardees, and the diablos. you wind up double crossing them all except the yakuza. the story line was great with many different surprizes and you won't beleve what this guy does to stay alive! all in all it is a great game except the cops, they are really annoying but, you can get rid of them with the gameshark.the grphics are great and you can even select the radio in the car! the charechters respond to your actions and if you go into enemy terretorry they shoot you. there is a very wide array of weapons to select from the gore is high and there is even a cheat that increces the gore. when you fall in water you instantly die and if one person falls in the water and dies a lot of other people come over to see and they die too. so the CPUs are pretty dumb. only one thing left to say...definately keep away from little kids!

The reason i like this game is because it is N.H.B. (no holds barred). You can kill cops,inocent people,and all the stinkin' gang members you want!!!! This is the only place you can blow up things without getting a real criminal record. the graphics are tight,the weapons are histarical,and the missions are the bomb baby!!! you can literaly take over the city and have all these pezents look up to you (and of course you the main man). the only thing i didnt like about the game is, when the gang members come after you when you just wanna take a drive. But other than that its all gravy baby!!! its deffinatly worth the amount of money you pay for it. thats it and !!!WARNING:THIS GAME IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!!!

GTA3 is one of the best games Rockstar ever made. But the problem is that when you go to the airport in shoreside vale, the big airplanes you can't evrn ride. That was stupid.At least show the guy that your playing go to the airprot and fly to vice city. I give the game a eight because the graphics are cool but just needs work with the realisum. You must buy this game it is extremly advanced for a ps2. The sound, graphics, gameplay are all 10/10. I could play this till I drop! This is a game I would not buy for $100 dollars, I would just wait for it to go platinum. It is better than GTA 2, But not as good a GTA Vice City.

This game is so sweet! the missions are fun and sometimes sorta hard, but that makes the game fun. I love this game a lot and especially like the weapons, cars and the funny things people say on the street, like, " my mother's my sister." This game is a really creative game and also very FUN. The cars are sweet especially the infernus, cheetah, and banshee.

I think this game is ok I havenot finish it yet but I'm on my way, I played Vice City before so i Think that it is better than GTA 3. But the only thing I love about it is the graphics and that I bought it for only $20.00 .

This game is great as you can rob cars and complete missions. Its not all about robbing cars and killing people though, because you need to do missions to get money and get a decent house.To complete missions you need to go to people's houses on the game like people on the 1st island who are Toni, Luigi, Joey and many more. To complete the missions you need to listen to the people and do what they say. You will get money for completing them. The graphics are great you can see in many different views. The sounds are also great as when you are in a car you can listen to any radio stations. The gameplay is simple the driving is easy and so are most of the missions.You have to complete the missions to progress to other islands but as you progress in the game then the missions will get harder.In the first island it will only be the police who go on you but when you progress on to other islands you get the army on you if you commit crimes. Watch out though because the police have guns and will shoot. Also if you get arrested or killed then you will loose one thousand dollors and all of your weapons.

The first GTA games in bird's eye view were good but compared to this they look as bad as London Racer. GTA III is brilliant, there is so much to do, in so little time. There are loads of cars, loads of missions, loads of fun times to be had. But, frequent graphical glitches let the game down. But that ain't important. This is also better than the latest GTA game, GTA Vice city. See the Vice city page for my review of that too. This is a truly exceptional game which every gamer on this planet who own's a PS2 should own. It's quite cheap now too!!!

Grant theft Auto three is the best game i've played in my life. The graphics are amazing in all aspects of the game. At points in the game with the different types of weather it feels like your actually in a really life situation. The sound is also next to none because when in a car you get to choose what type of music you wnat to hear. From rap-talk radio it has it all. Also with real street sounds it just makes it more realistic. Gameplay is fun because you can do the missions or just cruise around and rase some hell. There are three cities and many different cars, boats, and planes. Lifespan is good if you know what your doing and plus with all the tricks and cheats you should last forever. Fun wise it is non stop fun that will last for months maybe even years. What makes game great and a big hit is that it is orginal and not copied of noone. With all the features such as the multiple cities and great looking and sounding cars it is easy to say this is the best game i have ever played. It hasen't missed a beat since the first grand theft auto. Now with all these great features you can bet i'll be the first in line for gta4.
