Bond or Bond that is the question? |
| A gamer from Manhasset, New York says (4/Apr/2002): |
THIS GAME ROCKS!Compared to the other GoldenEye Games,GoldenEye64 & the World is not Enough, this game has better graphics, newer guns, and much better sounds! The bad part about this game is that it's too short, but it still rocks!

We miss you Goldeneye!!! |
| Alex from Concord, NH USA says (21/Jul/2002): |
N64 is only allowed in my house due to Goldeneye and Perfect Dark. The smooth movement, the never ending mulitplayer action. Do you get what I am sayin? Nothing will ever compare. Agent under fire is a fun game to pick up from time to time and play certain levels (the unannoying ones). I have to admit..the driving levels are fun as well as the carnival like action as you drive irractically all over the streets. To play over and over in a 24 hr period.....nope!!! Agent under Fire was my first purchase alone with the PS< remove me > at becasue I am a Bond fan and I did not know any better. Unfortunatly, my Bond buying days are over....unless they make an N64 controller and make nintendo games on PS2.....guess what pigs arent flying yet.

Really fun, but try something new. |
| Ian K. from Dearborn, MI says (11/Aug/2002): |
A good FPS are hard to come by and there are even fewer good ones starring 007. 007: Agent Under Fire is one of those good ones. The game, like all others takes some getting used to, but once you get into the swing of it they throw you totally off. What makes this Bond game so cool are the driving levels. They are really really fun, and they ad so much to this game.
I have always liked to replay missions once I'v completed them, and in most games there was nothing new or cool about that. In Agent Under Fire you collect points in your mission by finding secreat icons, getting through quickly enough, killing prople with your bare hands, or doing special "Bond moves", do things like shooting a rope that makes a box fall on the guards, the list goes on and on. With enough of those points you may unlock one of the special wepons, options or itens! For the first level, if you do well you'll first get the Golden Gun.
On the other driving missions there are so many places that you won't see by just following the ordinary route, there are all sorts of hidden jumps and weapons everywhere. The only flaw for this game is that the multiplayer is not really all that great. This is really a game to try if nothing else, but maby you want to try some thing newer.

When the WORLD NEEDS A HERO, JAMES BOND answers the call! |
| Nick Filipas from Oregon, USA says (20/Aug/2003): |
Agent Under Fire is one very cool 007 game. The levels are very fun to play. My favorite kind of missions are the "action portions" where you are on foot. I also like the driving levels with the BMW Z8. My favorite level is the Bad Diplomacy. Also AGU brings an awsome multiplayer. I like being the Griffin Clone, and calling myself: Dr. Earwax. And the multi-levels are fun but, short and small. Since there was Goldeneye on the N64, EA Games have returned a better 007 game, also Nighfire. And I heard that they will make an Goldeneye remix game. But you'll have to wait, because its not coming until 2005. Overall, the graphics are the bomb, the sound is awsome, and the fun fator is 10 out-of 10.

OO7 Agent Under Fire |
| Jason from Warrington England says (2/Jan/2003): |
This game is cool. I would reccomend it to anyone who is reading this review. Good points. The Gameplay. The controls are not personally my favourite, but you get used to them. You never get bored. The missions get more exciting the longer you play. Graphics. The graphics rock. They are very detailed. Even down to the odd bolt on the Jaguar you use during a mission. Almost real life. The fun factor kicks buttoks. I have never been bored on the game yet. Never. There are about fifty different levels. All different, and you can choose from thousands of different weapons. A GAME 4 LIFE AND MY CHICK SAYS SO TO!

YOU WILL LOVE IT |
| Morris A. Stephens from CALIFORNIA says (21/Mar/2003): |
This game is awesome you can play for hours and hours and i'm just borrowing mine and i'm getting the use out of it.It has great graphics and awesome weapons i would reccomend this game to anyone who loves shooting. The best part are the levels it has alot i havent counted but im on the 18th level and i know there are a lot more.

a pretty good game |
| nick from usa says (17/Feb/2004): |
this games graphics are ok if you look at the things around you in the levels. but some levels are too short and too long. i also gave it a 7 because i like the q claw in multiplayer. but the jet pack only works for a second or two. other wise the game is good. so i think it is reasonable to buy. but i think night fire is better because it has a really good multiplayer and you can actually vs bots in it. so i would buy one of them. if you have nintendo get golden eye one of my all time favorite games.

Ten Stars Awesome! |
| A gamer from USA says (9/Feb/2003): |
I'm not very picky so from me this game gets a 10. I liked the graphics alot! They were so much better than Tommorow Never Dies. I liked how there are secret passages and stuff like when you are in the Cold Reception level and you can open the picture of the twin. The gadgets were my favorite part. I think they made the game even more exciting. I did have a few problems with it. One was that when you are in the Evil Summit level it is hard to get hooked on to the speaker thing when you are on the ground. The last thing that I would have to say is that when you are in the multiplayer levels it would be cooler if you could actually be on a team and go on missions. I mean like in the single player levels. So when one person dies the rest can press on.

| slayer from River Falls, wisconsin says (10/Sep/2003): |

In the Shoes of Bond! |
| DRIVE4$ says (22/Feb/2004): |
Since Agent Under Fire was one of the first PS2 James Bond games, I was surprised that EA games did such a good job on it. They had a few glitches in some of the other games like Tomorrow Never Dies which had some glitches in it. Agent Under Fire didn't have any. It was pure Bond. There were many cool things you could do like Bond moves which are when you do something that James Bond would do. I really liked the one part where I shot the line that was supporting a box, which, of course fell on top of the man. That was something Bond would do. Also, you can blow up big gas cans to take out a lot of people with one small P2K bullet. It was exactly what I needed to keep me interested in the Bond games that year.

Cool |
| daniel from townsville Qld Australia says (19/Jan/2004): |
The games agent under fire is pretty cool but the only thing wrong with it the stages are to easy and all the characters look like they should be in a retirement home suckin out of drips not saving the world. but over all the game is pretty good The bad gurs arent to bad but they could be a lot harder to kill and that would make the ten times better. the game is to easy ive had it for about three days and im already finished it. the characters look nothing like they do on the movie, for example oo7 he looks likes geoge bush and q looks like abe simpson.

Agent Under Fire=Awsome Game! |
| Nick Filipas from Oregon, USA says (18/Jun/2003): |
007: Agent Under Fire is one good game. The gameplay is very cool, weapons r awsome, and the cars WOW (my favorite is BMW Z8) Under Fire is one heck of a game! With pulse-pounding missions, hi-tech gadgets, great multiplayer, and cute Bond girls such as Zoe Nightshade. And u can get guns such as the SWZ SSR4000, MRL-22, and Dartguns. If u r a 007 fan...buy this game.

Not as good as I hoped for. |
| Some guy from Austrailia says (9/Nov/2004): |
well where should i start. the grafics are just plain crap. i mean james bond. YEAH RIGHT. When he has been dead for 3 YEARS. The women. Well they where not sexy nor fun in this game. Multiplayer was REAL crap. but i liked the leavels but they could be MUCH harder. It was a waste of my birthday money so DONT waste your money on this game. The car was ok but needed to be more lifelike. The exploshions where crap, the grafuics are bad, James Bond dont get down with a girl and AND james bond seems like he has been dead for 3 years and that was the bad stuff. It diddnt take me long to finish it and THESE GAMES ARE MENT TO BE ALLL 3D NOT 2D DARN IT. PLEASE AGREA WITH ME AND DONT I MEAN DONT GET THIS GAME IT IS #!*< remove me > at . I thank you for those who agrea with me.

Bond is Bond |
| Adam from ILL USA says (12/Dec/2001): |
This game is a semi upgrade in the bond game. But this game is less then great. For the Bond fans, buy it, and the multiplayer kicks apples.
|
Pretty Good |
| A gamer from Indiana,USA says (13/Jan/2002): |
The game is great over all , but not as good as n64's Goldeneye. The story line isn't that good. The views, gadgets , and guns are cool. If u like 007 games BUY IT !!!!

Could be a classic?!? |
| Mike Lane from Hubbardston, MA says (13/Jan/2002): |
007: Agent Under Fire is a great game to add to your PS2 collection. As James Bond again embarks in a world of secret to bring you hours of shooting entertainment. Throught most of the game, the frames drops very little (meaning it rarley looks blocky) but the enemy A.I. (artifical intelligence) could use some work. The sound of the game was ok, the soundtrack once again was as original as the movies.A various range of weapons, gagets, cars and woman! But if your not into kill the guy and hit all the switiches while saving a hostage shooter, this could change your mind. And if you do like all the stuff listed above, you'll love this game.
|
The game is pretty good but not as good as it could be. |
| Shaun Donaldson from Toledo, USA says (18/Jan/2002): |
Agent Under Fire is a fairly good game overall, but there are a few things I realy dont like about it. First of all, there are only 12 missions, and some are pretty short. I also dont like the "idiot cam" which pretty much gives away most of the secrets in the game. For instance, out of nowhere the camera will suddenly zoom to the place you're supposed to go to. Some good things I really like are the plot and storyline. It was pretty good for being made up, not based on a movie. The added driving missions make the game worth buying and the great variety of guns you can use also make the game a classic. As for the sound, the bond theme song gets a bit old after hearing about 100 times. each time you open a grate...da da da da...each time you blow up some cans...da da da. the missions are overall pretty detailed and the graphics are absolutely superb. as for multiplayer, i think its much better than goldeneye's. the places are a bit smaller, but it is much more fun because there are so many more things you can do. bond fans will love this game for sure. it is a good shooting game and is worth the money.

its an ok game |
| robert mummert/skeeter from astoria,illinois,usa says (28/Jan/2002): |
Agent under fire is pretty cool.I like it because theirs lots of secret rooms and ways to do things with out getting cought. On goldeneye theirs a guy every where you go.On this game you get cought once in a while, like on the level on that tall oil ship thing .You cant climb all three levels with out getting caught.
The sound is pretty good but every time you do something you here that sound on every single game their is with james bond on it, da,da,ta,da,danna .I wish they would make a new sound with real words.I have to say that they did do a good job on the sounds of the guns, and they characters when thay talk. The only level I dont like is the forbidden sea or what ever it is called. At the very end where you have to shoot at something with the chi magiger.I do say it is hard to stay alive but i think it is a good game and you probly should buy it.

Far too short |
| Gareth Jones from Cardiff, Wales says (27/Feb/2002): |
Don't get me wrong, the game is good. But I can't help feel that the single player is too short. The graphics are great and the game play original although at times it was hard to understand what you had to do.
|
This game is way better than Goldeneye |
| A gamer says (1/Mar/2002): |
I can't believe you people for not giving this game a ten, are you insane?? Anyhoo, this is definitely the best Bond game to date. Awesome graphics, superb gameplay, kick as(prin) storyline, and good sound. I like how the camera zooms in on places that you are able to go to avoid getting caught, and this is a good thing too because it mostly does this when the soliders that are coming require at least 10 or more shots to be killed. This game is pretty tough, even on the easiest level. There are plenty of explosive scenes, so those of you that love to blow things up until your head spins will definitely not dissapointed. The lifespan of this game could go on for years to come. Unlike Goldeneye, which just had the first-person shooter and occasional driving-around-in-a-tank bit, this is a first-person shooter and you don't occasionally drive around, about every other level or so is driving around. The driving parts of the game rule, I couldn't stop playing them for the longest time, which obviously ends me explaining the fun factor part cuz I just did. I also like how this one differs greatly from the other first-person bond shooters, in a sense that you really feel as if you are part of the game, not just playing it. It's kinda hard to explain but that's how it was for me, and I wouldn't have it any other way. This game is definitely worth the dough, so go out and buy it as soon as possible, you will not be dissapointed.
