ea has done a great job producing a great game, i have just completed a full successful season with the Bulls and i enjoyed every part of it, the best part? signing MJ back to the bulls along with Pippen, loads of fun!! the graphics and gameplay has improved loads from NBA Live 2001 and 2000, its great to see the PS2 being used to its full potential

NBA live 2002 is one heck of an improvement from the previous titles. The gameplay and graphics were very impressive in the two previous titles for PSX. This is truly a revolutionized game for the live series.This game really does use the full capacity of the PS2 console. It really does have it all! The graphics is probably the most improved aspect of this game, dramatically changing from live 2001. The different shoes also make the players very distinct from each other(Kobe Shoes are great). I mean the graphics are simply great. The gameplay is pretty good, not the best but I like it completely manual. It really makes the game a challenge. Some people make too much comments about the slow reaction time and how every move is proportioned in a single time zone allowing you to make only a single move with no combination of a dunk or a pass. What are you guys saying? The reaction time is great, the pass and shot after the dribble is pretty quick, and plus you have enough time to decide whether to pass dribble or shoot. The one I see having this problem is NBA 2K2 for PS2. I also love the franchise mode in this game. It definitely allows you to feel like a GM and it really gives you freedom to trade and browse through the entire league. It really is more of a basketball simulator because it really isn't easy to get used to. The one on one is also a very fun mode to play. Overall, this game is just simply amazing. The only rason I gave it a nine is that it could have been better in the gameplay. Buy It!!

I think this game kicks butt.One of the best improvements in NBA Live 2002 is you can hack in to other players attributes. Michael Jordan is a breeze.I think 2001 one was good, but 2002 kicks a**. If there would be one bad part of the game it would be, nothing.I enjoyed this game.To top it of, I have PS2 which doubles the graphics, sound, and Fun Factor.You should buy this game. It's worth all $55 Freaking.

THE GRAPHICS FOR PS2 and XBOX MAKE The game rock. The only reason I gave it a 9 was because they didn't keep the challenge gameplay option on it. Franchise mode is sweet you can finally expierience what the GM is going through. Also, if your team really sucks in 5 years I went from being 8-74 with Spurs to being the NBA Champions. GOOD LUCK!
