When I first bought this game I thought it was going to be just a Crash Bandicoot clone, with better graphics, I was so wrong. This game has everything a game needs, its has the gameplay, collecting those Orbs keeps you hooked for hours, the Graphics are brilliant, the Sounds are cool. it will take you ages to explore the world, brilliant controls, easy enough to get straight into. Well done Naughty Dog..

My children and I loved the this game. Its fun and exciting to be able to play with your children. We can play this game for hours trying to figure out whats next. We have not played in a long time because we are stuck at the stage where you free all the eco colors we don't know where to go from here. The one thing that I would change on the games would be hints. This would help out alot. When I say stuck on this game I mean a whole year without playing. I kind have started all over just to play because they love it. Please help.

This game is fun. The grafics are great,Daxter is hilarious!The sound effects are nice, I do not think the music is that good. Sometimes it can get a bit annoying but not terribly. I really recomend it for everyone. People who are more expert players will find this game easy. If you are looking for a hard game I don't recomend this to you. This game is sort of short. I beat it in like a week ( I would have probably beaten it in only a few days but we have a family of 5 not and everybody but my mom wanted to play so we had to take turns and my dad and brother would take hours on their turn!) This is a fun game for all ages ( even my pap got hooked on it and he played forever)
This game is good too if you are just starting playing Playstation 2( though it might take a long while). The places and atmosphere are creative and cool. The zoomer you can ride is sweet. I really like this game. If I could change anything about it though, I would probably make it harder.

I love the graphics and the music but it only took me 2 days to beat it. I love all the cheats like riding in a tank and to fly but it was just to easy. The sages have great personalites and the fishes are cool but I think the bosses should be a little harder.Some parts where ok and I like the cave in Snow mountain behind the trees to open the yellow echo vents. But something they left out was Jak having a voice, that would be realy interesting.I recomend this game to people who want to say they beat a game.Also to people who like easy stuff. If you go on the ice and snowy mountain and press the circle botton it looks like there ice skating, for other cheats like these go to cheatcodes.com

I just loved this game.It has some challenging things to do in it.Collecting orbs and cells kept me wanting to play this game forever.I wanted to collect every orb and cell.I wouldn't leave the area untill i did.
The graphics are the bomb.They are better then some games.They aren't the best though.
It also has very good sound.I don't think nothing was wrong with the sound at all.
I know that if you want to have a bunch of fun, you should try this game.It it way more fun then a lot of games i have played before.
As for diffuculty, it's not that hard, but it's not easy either.Fighting the bosses is the only really hard thing.Collecting the stuff isn't hard.There are parts you must be fast on the controller in order to beat that part of the game.

It's good training for Jak 2, but heck!! I've played less cute games in my life. The graphics are cool, but this game is weak. It's only a litte challenging.Jak and Daxter is very creative, and improves your creativity, it's fun, and you can grow on it. After a while though, it starts to lose it's touch. The sound fx are very fake! The people you fight against don't look right. The backgrounds in the game are always too natural. The tasks you accomplish are too easy, but bosses are usually harder. As you move on in the game, everything gets easyer. Jak doesn't talk, at all! That upsets me.If you think this game rocks, play Jak 2. You'll think otherwise. This game is not gonna last long. I can't believe I spent 20 dollars on that game. It 's not even worth 15. It is a good practice if you're just a begginer, but if you're a master gamer, don't buy it!!!!!!!! My brother, whose only 4, is supiriorly good at Jak and Daxter.I think this game is too cute, and I'm a 10 year old girl!! In conclusion Jak and Daxter is a far more insufficient game than its sequal.

A fearsome battle has come between Crash Bandicoot and Jak&Daxter.Crash Bandicoot made the PS1 an enjoyable place,but now the PS2 has come Naughtydog has moved to a new generation.Jak and Daxter is a freeform platform adventure guarrenteed to blow you away.Jak and Daxter has stunning graphics and the levels are colourful and beautiful.The sound is amazing and it fits the game perfectly.The gameplay is much like Crash Bandicoot including spinning,slamming and crawling.The lifespan is long if you want to find every precursor orb,Scout fly and powercell.Naughtydog have thought of fantastic new characters.Daxter is the real joker of the game and comes up with humourous phrases.Jak meanwhile is a mute which is the only thing bad about this game and don't forget Jak's friend Keira and Samos the Sage.To complete the game you have to run,jump,kill,swing,trade,do tasks,fly,drive,ride a flut flut chick,defeat monsters,swim,collect and harness the power of eco.Jak and Daxter is a superb adventure which will keep kids and adults happy for years and years to come.Jak and Daxter is the best!It's a must have for your PS2!Crash and platform fans,this is the game for you!

jak and daxter is really really fun but its just to easy . i beat it 100%in less than a day( 13 hours and 45 minutes to be exact). after playing it a lot it just gets kinda boring . the second one is way better but you have to play this one before you can play the second one or you will be completely lost. ovr all this game gets a ten because when it came out it was the best game to buy. i suggest you rent it first or you might be dissapointed though. the story line of the game is great and the extra stuff you can do is fun to see( for instance let jak grab a cliff then wait and see what daxter does).

Jak and Daxter: A good long game much better then the Crash Bandicoot series. It is more long like the Legend of Zelda. It has lots of puzzles like Final Fantasy X. The only thing I didnt like about it was the lack of direction in the game.
Graphics:9 (compared to Final Fantasy.)
Lifespan:10 Possibly 5-12 months to beat the game 100%
Controls:7 sloppy on the jumps

Well, i think this is a great game but the thing that really bugs me is that they tell you to go somewhere and as soon as you get there they tell you to go somewhere else! i mean they dont give you a chance to do anything.

before the game released i saw the trailer from this moment i really loved the game and i brought a ps2 just to play this game .
im one of the bigeest fans of crash bandicoot and naughtydog did the same success on the ps one.
and the game got many challenging moment like escaping from the dark eco liqued and the ambush.
i completed the game three times on 100% percentage.
the only bad thing that's the game is quite short but fun game that you want to play it again and again.
you have to play this game!!!

this game is hella fun! im not done yet! but hey i love it so far, it came with my PS2 and i dunno what games are good or not, but i really like jak and daxter! all these people say its easy! well its somewhat easy, but i find some parts to be hard...but hey thats just me i guess! well i love the game..and i heard theres another one coming out? i sure hope so! :o)

WOW... I loved this game!! the graphics were spectacular, the SFX were amazing, and the plot unfolds itself beautifully! A must see/play for and Naughty Dog fan. Better than the Crash Bandicoot games by far! The Bandicoot games werent very good in the first place, you can't come into contast with any other player, unless it's a "movie" or you get killed by them. Jak and Daxter is an addictive game that will keep you hooked from the moment you start on Sentinel Beach, to when you finish with the battle of Gol and Maia"s robot!

this game is a mix between several different games, and is remarkable. graphics are good and you have to rush around to find your way to a dark eco magician. the magician guy was supposed to turn Daxter back to normal, but is trying to kill Jak and Daxter using dark eco. one of the 5 ecos in their earth. this game is great and has great charachters and missions. some missions are very challenging like Farthys Snacks, but some are easy like defeat dark eco plant. the game is based on red eco, blue eco, green eco, yellow eco, and the touch and die, dark eco. rated E for everyone.

the graphics are great, the sound are great even the fun factor is wicked! the gameplay is great you can finish this game in 20 hours. The sound is great because it can sooth to the ears the graphics is great beacuse the characters are awesome too.the games has some values including responsibility and much more the lifespan of this is great you had unlimited lives and the items are awesome that includes Daxter's dance and the dunk it's great. i love it so much i play it everyday.I wish they do a sequel like this!

Okay ... so it's not Crash. I got this game only because I read reviews online stating it was as good. But guess what ... many of the reviews are written by, you got it, the makers of the game. They certainly talk this game up quite a bit. But if you haven't purchased it and are thinking about it ... don't. The graphics are truly spectacular (thus I rate it a 2), but the sequence of the game and the the "chores" themselves are mediocre at best. Another note: I loved the simple Donkey Kong games because of the secrets that could be uncovered. There were tons (just look hard enough and you'll find them). I really hoped to find these types of secrets with this game, but found very few. Seriously, don't waste your money on this one. Sony, you disappoint.

I thought this game was great except for the fact that it was so easy. Believe it or not im a total video game freak in 6th grade im almost the youngest in my grade and i beat this game in like, what playing about an hour a day a month considering my sister erased it about 16 times. plus i got the aalternate ending. Im the smartest girl in the grade and a great gamer but still its a little strange anyone could spend more than 24-30 hours on this game. I loved this game and the ending, the graphics, about everything about it except 2 things toooo easy and the ending i didnt quite get clearly!

If you think for one second you can get away with that comment your dead wrong. Because Naughty Dog as most people know were making games before your N64 games(that you mentioned) were even in the beginning of being designed. Just look at the 20 million-plus selling Crash Bandicoot series. Now when you really think about it(don't strain your brain too hard) it's more likely that a company (say, the makers of the games you listed) would copy the crash series, than to be copied by the creators of one of the best selling series of all time (Naughty Dog).
