The first Harvest Moon game I played and ever heard of was Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life. That was a really fun game. It was very additicting and full of surprizes. I learned a few things from that game that are actualy true (e.g Cows only give milk for about 40 days witch in the game is about one year and in the real world cows only give milk for about one year and then you have to get them pegnant again).Ok well anywho,The graphics are good,but the one thing that really bugged me is that the horse didn't come with a saddle (english or western) or a bridle (a headstall), and that the cows,horse,goat,and sheep were free to move around in the barn they should each have there own stalls like when you isolate a pegnant cow, And you should be able to choose what breed of horse you want and what color,9 (If you have been wondering about why I have been stressing about the horse stuff it's because I have been horseback riding for 5 years and it really bugges me when people ride horses bareback because it's hard on you and the horse),And the animals eat and eat but where does all waste go like if they want to make it as real as possable..well you know...,also why can't you expand your barn a REAL dairy farm can have up to 40 cows and then some, not that it's easy to keep with, I would really love it if they would make a game with more objects (e.g Halters for the livestock saddles and bridles proper stalls cows that look different (say if you have 2 normal cows the spots would look different between the 2) If Natsume made a horse game simaler to Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life that had to do with horses and tranning them and people would pay you to go on trail rides and take lessons I think that would be the best game ever (Just because I love horses! Lol) But hey who am I to decided what kind of games they should make or not. I have really enjoyed there games there both a learning experence and a challenge.I hope they will keep makeing more of them.

In my other HM game u could get married. And have a kid. (I had a girl) I hope Natsume comes out with a HM game 4 Nintendo DS soon! All of the HM games are DA BOMB! I like totally love HM, it's the best vidio game EVER invented! Everybody plays Harvest Moon and if you don't, you are a nobody. (sorry if that's offensive in any way) I am 11 years old and I'm totally addicted to Harvest Moon. I mean who couldn't be. All of the characters are totally adorable. Whoever thought of Harvest Moon is the BESYEST peron in the WHOLE,ENTIRE WORLD. All of The Harvest Moon Lovers out there probably agree with me 150 percent, right!

hey well guess wat i played and it is great.u can get married in this game with these cheats.now first u have to pick one of these girls lyla or gwen.these are the girls that can get married .make them like u alot.lyla show her your dog .she loves them then she will ask u to marry u and u will have kids .if u r lucky like i was u can have twins.she will only like the dig if it has a cute name.gwen likes jam and golden milk.make her like u
.then go in front of the carpent place at 7:00pm.then give her a gift.talk to her 2 times then give her a gift again and she will ask u if u can answer some questions say yes.answer them all right.if u do good she will marry u and have a baby boy.i will give u the answers in two days today it is 12/1/05.u will be married in no time and have kids the game will never end.

This harvest moon game is my favorite yet! I have HM: BTN,FMT,STH,AWL,Another Wonderful Life (girl version) and ive played N64 and so far I have enjoyed playing STH the most. I got it the year it came out for christmas after I had borrwed N64 from my cousins and then i told my friend about it. Then she saved up for the game and a ps2 and to this very day we still love playing it more then we did the first time we ever started. We pretty much know everything about it and I only have 3 ways that ive never beaten before. (treasure hunt 1 and 2, and the bluebird). We have even found recipes to make that arnt on the websites, I have had many MANY files started played for a while and then deleted and i started again. I must have almost 3 memory cards full of HM STH files. ( I dont play a lot of them so I need to delete some of coarse) but my friend and I get into what we call Harvest Moon moads and we play the game for a long long time! One time it lasted long enough that I beat 6 different endings in one file. I think I did one twice.
Well i still think you should be able to get bulls and different color cows in this game like AWL but i can live without all that. I love this game just the way it is.

I'm really mad I just paid 20$ on this game to get married have children own cows, horses, and chickens but I cant get married! I really wanted too and i thought that you could because Lyla was saying "If I could live with anyone it would be you *Tyler*" That was it the most deepest feelings in her heart she said but she doesnt come live with me ARGGG Who ever made this game without marrying is CRAP!!!!! I mean i want my money back but i cant because shipping and handling doesnt take refunds and I dont have game cube for A Wonderful Life and I dont have game boy advanced for that one and I dont have a memory card for the playsation one can someone help me out here!!!!! Do you think there is anyway!!!!!

This is what I heard from other sites.
Gwen-Give her jam and Golden milk that is what she LOVES.(To make jam you have to get a kitchen $10,000.The recipe is verry berry(x3)and pot.Another one Cranberry (x3) and pot.Blueberry(x3) pot.There are a LOT of jams.)Anyway after you think she likes you at 7:00pm. near the carpenters place give her a gift and then talk to her if she likes you enough she'll ask if she can talk to you for a sec.(say yes). Then I heard if you answer most of the questions correctly she will marry you.
Lyla-I heard this. If you become good friends with her and show her your dog she will marry you.( to get a dog put food in the food bowl next to your house put some food or flowers in it every day even if it is ranning.When you see the dog try to pick him up.Eventually it will allow you to pick it up.After that take it to your house. Then it will stay there forever.Make sure you build it a dog house($5,000) befor you get it.)Thats all I heard about marrying so far I will write more later.

The graphics are good,and the sound is bearable
gameplay is weird

1)you don't get married or have children
2)You don't go to festivals
3)You don't get that much stuff for extending your house
4)You don't have wood
(i don't know how to get it if we do have wood)
It is pretty fun though

I like the Black Horse at The Brownie Farm most of all but i just looked up some cheats and i go to the far left horse every day and work counter clock wise so oops i am gonna restart but its horrible cause i have a cow producing M milk 5 chickens : mamita , java , minnie , and 2 0thers or 1 0ther oh well i have the dog i don't have a horse i caught a 10.9" fish i got katie working deep into the cake ending and she's falling in love with me and all ways rattles on about love then i already had the godess make dye the fabric for that on chick and i just herd about the fish myth or watever and tim is starting to treasure hunt with me and i just got my kitche/shower/toilet idont wanna restart waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This game can get really boring from time to time especially at night but why moan all you have to do is go fishing try get a sharshark and just sell sell sell $$$. how to get a child and a wife is keep ofering the blue feather to the girl you want out of the three girls you can get in the first year and on the first day of spring (Year 2) on your door step she is.

Wow... I think this game was to easy. I played 2 years (in game time) and have 100,000 4 cows 6 chickens a dog, and a horse. All i did was folage all week and on friday went and sold all my items. I do wish that you could get married, but its not bad, at least the graphics are ok. i do wish it was a little more intersesting as it can get very boring very fast. Also i hate how there is no sprinkler and you have to water your crops one at a time. What is up with that??? I love how you can feed your dog anything. lol i recommend weeks cause u cant sell them and there free

All in all, I thought the Save the Homeland was pretty fun for the first two years. But I really do wish you could marry and have children. Also more crops, and more livestock. Also, I wish you could tell how much the people like you.
On the good side, it had awsome graphics, very cute guy, and I was happy you could chose which horse you wanted. I also had a pretty good laugh when I discovered you could have a bathroom.
Something you Natsume people need to add is festivals and stuff. The reason I liked Back to Nature so much is because you were always busy, and you had a family to live with.
I like the new fishing style. It's more fun to fish now. And I like the idea that you can train you dog with the flute that's cute to. I also like that you have a choice between dog's.
I was also happy about that you could have a everyday job. I like all the characters, they all had there own unique personality. If I could marry, I would probaly have married Gwen. She was a really pretty girl, and a alien personality. So if anybody reads this, I actully like the game, but make sure the next game you make is on Playstation 2, or else you'll lose me. Enjoy

I do wish you cant start a family and i wish you didn't have to meet every one all over each year but i would have loved to start a family with gwen. The dog following you arround the town is a nice treat but HMSTH has nothing on
HMAWFL (harvest moon a wonderful life) GREAT graphics iv been a hm fan for a couple of years since i played it on 64 i played it for may b 10 min or so and i was hooked the rest i just watch my friend play so i had to get my own by the time i did it was on ps2 But all in all for my 1st hm game it was Perfect. well next to perfect i have hmawl.

Say bye-bye to marriage and kids! Thats right, in this Harvest Moon game, your not out there to lay the babes (sorry if that was offensive), your here to save your homeland!...well.....your fathers homeland.....who cares!
But dont fret! The more you hang out with one girl, you are more likly to trigger a story sequence with her. And it might just end in romance ^_~
I must say though, the graphics in this one are waaaaaay better. And I just love his new look ^-^ especially that ponytail. And your not just given a horse in this game. Oh no, you have to work for this horse. On the good side though, you can pick what color horse you want. When you go to the Brownie Farm to work, just brush which ever horse you want first. And after you've worked long enough, the guy will give you a horse that looks exactly like it! Cool, huh? And instead of being confinde to only your farm, you can go all over town with your horse. Major improvement if I do say so myself.
I have to say though, I didnt like the game much, I guess Im just to used to the others. So if you loved the other Harvest Moon games so much that you thought you would die, you might not like this one very much, seeing as how it focus soley on saving the homeland, and not raising your farm and family within an appointed time. But dont let that drag you down! Its still a great game and worth playing! Plus, once you complete one little story sequence, you get to go through eight more! Good luck finding them.

it was a good game and the graphics were GREAT!!!!!!!!! but...ummm i really miss the old stuff like getting married,sheep and how you can play on endlessy without starting all over again..but hey everything else is awesome! well i give this game a 8 out of 10! and if anyone knows a cheat for keeping on playing without stoping in a year let me know plz? and also i would like to know if you found any new cheats or anything at all that would help me, oh yeah and i also owned the other harvest moons, like 64 and back to nature if you want any tips just let me know

I think the game is good but whats good if you can't get married. I know you can live on your farm and have animals but there no one to live with you.Other than that it has good graphics and its sweet that your dog can learn tricks.I pick six because it should ask you if you what to quite the game or not and if you said not to quite you could get married and keep plaing your game.I think the lifespan is too short in this game thats why they should ask you if you wish to quite before the game is over and I can't wait untill the next harvest moon comes out.

This game is o.k ,but I think you should get a famliy. I also think that the people should remember you. The background is good,better then the first. This is a good game the only bad thing is that you can't get a family,that really just make the game not worth the time.This is just my oppenion but i think the game is all in all not as good as the first as far as the point and fun leavel counts.I like that you can ride the horse to town and the being able to cook part.I wish that i could find some new things to cook,if that was easer that would be good. It is addictive and that means it has to be fun,but all in all the not having a family just makes it not worth the time and effort.

hi harvest moon fans you im a expert at harvest moon:shl and i got 5 cows all golden milk 5 chickens all golden egg and all things then i heard about the back to nature it was so cool oh one thing im having a gamecube and the new harvest moon a wonderful life and when about harvest moon i already been addicted because my biggest brother(real life) is a farmer so i like harvest moon 100 times but the thing is you can't get married and have a amily but i like the graphics,characters etc. but im an expert so i recomend to the natsume to make 2 childrens or more.can make your hothouse and more tools oh one more if they do this i we'll be a better fan of natsume

Well, I`m a kid so I`m saving up for the first game, according to everyone the orginal Harvest Moon is the best, but I still love the game! Anyways I give it an 8 because it is not as good as the first. And if you could, could someone please help me with the "Sacred Land" event please? Overall the game is very cool and Natsme is a GREAT company! Hey, Natsume peeps, if you are ever on here, ya`ll rock! This gal has been playing Harvest Moon: STH for many years, and many years to come!

I do not like the fact that you cant get married, you cant have more than what 5 cows and no sheep. There are only two upgrades to the house and there is no green houses!!! it is kool that you can pick the color of your horse. But it is really bad that u can not get married.... I like that u could sell things around in the city... it will be kool if in the next game you can have more than one horse and male and female animals..... There also needs tobe more seeds and stuff.. Well C ya

it was fun no doubt about that and the graphics rok but..u have a time limit..and u cant get married have a kid etc. if theyd made it w/ that stuff it'd b a 10! and it stinx that theyre makin a wonderful life 4 only gamecube!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it was waaay 2 easy! and the house is 2 plain and AH its just not wut i x-pected from them..when they say *serious fun* i thought they meant it! anyway i hate how they keep switchin first its 4 pc then n64 then ps1 then ps2 NOW gamecube! i mean do they want us to buy ALL the consules? its crazy...anyway if they wanna keep bein successful w/ these games they better make the next one awesome bcuz save the homeland surely isnt their best.
