All in all, I thought the Save the Homeland was pretty fun for the first two years. But I really do wish you could marry and have children. Also more crops, and more livestock. Also, I wish you could tell how much the people like you.
On the good side, it had awsome graphics, very cute guy, and I was happy you could chose which horse you wanted. I also had a pretty good laugh when I discovered you could have a bathroom.
Something you Natsume people need to add is festivals and stuff. The reason I liked Back to Nature so much is because you were always busy, and you had a family to live with.
I like the new fishing style. It's more fun to fish now. And I like the idea that you can train you dog with the flute that's cute to. I also like that you have a choice between dog's.
I was also happy about that you could have a everyday job. I like all the characters, they all had there own unique personality. If I could marry, I would probaly have married Gwen. She was a really pretty girl, and a alien personality. So if anybody reads this, I actully like the game, but make sure the next game you make is on Playstation 2, or else you'll lose me. Enjoy

Natsume,I loved you'r game Harvest Moon:Save the Homeland, but you need to be able to get maried that was the best part in all of the other games, (I havent playd it for Super nintindo) but please make another like this one but where you can get married.

This game is cool because I have a playstation 2 and I can finally play it but it is so much different from Harvest Moon: BTN. I really wish you could get married, and also, when you win the game and start over, everyone should remember you and you should continue with their relationships.

Well the game really rocks. It is like you're in the game playing as the character. I've only had the game a couple of weeks so I've only finished 2 of the 9 endings. It sucks big time that you can't get married so the little man is lonely all the time except for all his animals. I also like how the pasture and the field is set up. It is easier that way. And I REALLY like how there is no weeds to get rid of. This came really does rock in it's own ways. I like it way better than Back to Nature. Rock on and keep playin.

I do wish you cant start a family and i wish you didn't have to meet every one all over each year but i would have loved to start a family with gwen. The dog following you arround the town is a nice treat but HMSTH has nothing on
HMAWFL (harvest moon a wonderful life) GREAT graphics iv been a hm fan for a couple of years since i played it on 64 i played it for may b 10 min or so and i was hooked the rest i just watch my friend play so i had to get my own by the time i did it was on ps2 But all in all for my 1st hm game it was Perfect. well next to perfect i have hmawl.

I really liked the game and all but Natsume please consider making a new one.... The game was alright but too easy and you cant get married.... Getting married was the best part of the other ones how could you remove that???? I enjoyed playing it and all but the one for super nintendo was alot more cool like you could "get married" and have festivals, and golden tools and other stuff. Also nobody buys game cubes everyone has ps2 so consider making your new one for ps2 not game cube. Try again Natsume........

i just got this game like 2 weeks ago, and it rocks. i have never played anything more realistic and fun. it has its own advantages and downsides, and i guess ill leave a couple tips for you people:
1. to start saving the endangered weasel to save the homeland, give Gwen a berry (doesnt matter which one!) every 2 to 3 days. also, her birthday is summer the 8th. dont bother giving her a rare metal, i already tried =P and when she says can i talk to you a minute, say yes, read what she says, and SAY DEPENDS OR YOU ARE SCREWED!!!! also, when she asks if you can love forever, say its possible. thats all i got so far, haha. need to continue.... oh and by the way people, START WRITING PROPERLY!!! you know how freakin hard it is to read what you say?!?!? although i am impressed at how many 10s this game got. well here's another one!!! ~*PERFECT TEN*~ ok later people gotta go make out with gwen. i mean go out with gwen.

hi harvest moon fans you im a expert at harvest moon:shl and i got 5 cows all golden milk 5 chickens all golden egg and all things then i heard about the back to nature it was so cool oh one thing im having a gamecube and the new harvest moon a wonderful life and when about harvest moon i already been addicted because my biggest brother(real life) is a farmer so i like harvest moon 100 times but the thing is you can't get married and have a amily but i like the graphics,characters etc. but im an expert so i recomend to the natsume to make 2 childrens or more.can make your hothouse and more tools oh one more if they do this i we'll be a better fan of natsume

This game is o.k ,but I think you should get a famliy. I also think that the people should remember you. The background is good,better then the first. This is a good game the only bad thing is that you can't get a family,that really just make the game not worth the time.This is just my oppenion but i think the game is all in all not as good as the first as far as the point and fun leavel counts.I like that you can ride the horse to town and the being able to cook part.I wish that i could find some new things to cook,if that was easer that would be good. It is addictive and that means it has to be fun,but all in all the not having a family just makes it not worth the time and effort.

I think the game is good but whats good if you can't get married. I know you can live on your farm and have animals but there no one to live with you.Other than that it has good graphics and its sweet that your dog can learn tricks.I pick six because it should ask you if you what to quite the game or not and if you said not to quite you could get married and keep plaing your game.I think the lifespan is too short in this game thats why they should ask you if you wish to quite before the game is over and I can't wait untill the next harvest moon comes out.

Well, this is a good game. But let's go over the bad points. 1: You can't get married like you could in the other Harvest Moon games. 2: When you complete an ending you must start your relationships ALL OVER AGAIN 3: Time goes too fast. And when you stand around it goes TWICE AS FAST 4: Getting your animals back in. You must push those BEEP cows back to the barn the day before it rains. If you're lucky it will only take SIX HOURS. 5: Only 2 extensions! The dog house & kitchen. Now the good points. 1: So many people... 2: Easy to make mula 3: Nine good endings.
Then why am I giving this an 8 if I have more good points than bad? Because I like the HM series. Thanks for reading.

I love this game I play every day fromn when I get up to before I go to sleep. The graphics are so much better than the two before it. out of both games I would say this ones the best. the only thing i dont like is that I dont think you can get married. I'm not sure though because ive been to many sites some say you can some ssay you cant! someine please let me know! my email is sissykittyrules< remove me > at direcway.com. I fyou cant thats the only down side! The characters is what suprises me the most theree totally different except lyla the girl who owns the flower shop, she kind of reminds of one of the characters. but Who new the guy whho had circles for hands a head and pretty much everything else could have muscles and fingers!!! well thats my reveiw. noow i have to figurev away to get my brother off the ps2 so i can play my game!

This game is the best game ever!! I know some people keep complaining that HM back to nature was better but look at it this way: in BTN(back to nature)there was no point to the game I mean you did the same thing day after day after day. In HM STH you have a purpose and there is a point to the game.

I like it a lot, it interesting, and lots of fun to. I thought it could probably use more girls to pick from, and maybe a little more realistic. But overall i liked it a lot. But it seems to me that its not all that popular. Most of my friends like it but a couple of my friends hate it.

this game is the best, but i wish it had dating and marrying. some kids say that you CAN get a date....but i dont belive them cause i tried. i wasted the month of fall by giving full moon berries and she didn't even say "I LIKE YOU" to me. anyway, i SURE DO WISH that HM: A WONDERFUL LIFE comes to PS2 instead of GC.

I love Harvest Moon2:save the homeland its so cool!!! Gwen really likes me it was so cool when we kept meeting each other in the Goddess lake...But you can't get married or raise a family... you should be able to get married, and the new Harvest moon sounds really exciting, except I heard that it was gonna be in the Game cube...I DON'T HAVE A GAME CUBE AND I DONT THINK I EVER WILL!!! So pls make one for the PS2. and I love how you can pick your dog and train it also my Dog can help me and he follows me too!!! And there should be some exciting days,like festivals and picnics!!! Harvest Moon back to nature was more of a challenge to me. Since not only do you get to raise your farm but you should to worry about your family, in harvest moon 3 I'm hoping that you could have more animals,and have more extensions for your house, and also that you can choose to be a boy or a girl! but mostly I'm really hoping that you can have a family. In Harvest moon:back to nature I'm married Popuri and I raise my son and made him BIG!!! but anyway I think that Harvest moon:Save the Homeland is a great game! I recomend it to those who like reality games!!!

it was fun no doubt about that and the graphics rok but..u have a time limit..and u cant get married have a kid etc. if theyd made it w/ that stuff it'd b a 10! and it stinx that theyre makin a wonderful life 4 only gamecube!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and it was waaay 2 easy! and the house is 2 plain and AH its just not wut i x-pected from them..when they say *serious fun* i thought they meant it! anyway i hate how they keep switchin first its 4 pc then n64 then ps1 then ps2 NOW gamecube! i mean do they want us to buy ALL the consules? its crazy...anyway if they wanna keep bein successful w/ these games they better make the next one awesome bcuz save the homeland surely isnt their best.

Well, I`m a kid so I`m saving up for the first game, according to everyone the orginal Harvest Moon is the best, but I still love the game! Anyways I give it an 8 because it is not as good as the first. And if you could, could someone please help me with the "Sacred Land" event please? Overall the game is very cool and Natsme is a GREAT company! Hey, Natsume peeps, if you are ever on here, ya`ll rock! This gal has been playing Harvest Moon: STH for many years, and many years to come!
