I'm dissapointed this gave isn't any better. You can't get married, you can't have kids, there are no festivals, and you can oly grow 4 crops. Boring! There is no snow in winter! At first, I loved it. Now, I really could care less if the amusment park was built there (that is what happens, right?). I can see why it was only $40. I've basically abandoned it. I'd much rather play Harvest Moon 64. Our PS2 is now hidden behind the N64. I love Harvest Moon 64! Hey, does any one now if Karen comes back? E-mail me with a reply.

i really love this game but i keep throwing the items or eating them. how do i go about selling them i just seem to throw things away or at the doors of who i want to sell them to. do i get to keep items for later. ive been working on this guys farm for extra money but by the time i buy feed and seeds im broke again. ANY HELP WOULD be GREAT!! im just going to keep giving the items to people and see if that works. i have not found any codes to put in for more money. is there any out there?

harvest moon is a great game but it does get boring after a while. i have only played 3 harvest moon games. harvest moon 64 back to nature and save the homland. i love the graphics on harvest moon savethe homeland but you cant get married you cant have kids and most of all well acuttally 2 things you have to go places to sel;l your things and that sucks it wastes time!! and wher3e in the earth did the sheep go!! also when you talk to the animals the dont have the heart or make a sound and i like it when they made the moo or baa or nehgg soung when i brushed them or talked to them. also i know what you mean by the ponytail lol! but it is good though but.. my favorite and the best was the 64 i was married to karen and had a baby and every thing money and all. also who every played harvest moon 64 and knows alot about it does your baby ever say daddy or mommy? i wondering and does he grow up to be a man!!! contacted me if you know at pegausa_wings85< remove me > at hotmail.com thanks

You can have a wife KIDS also BABIES only for gamecube :) I dont have one yet but I am for Xmas!!!!!! sweet!!! You see I got adicted to Harvest moon when I was only 4 or 5 years old so I have been looking around soooooooo long! I finally found a game and nasume does mean serious fun! it took me e long time to find out how to get the meaning of the game but nw im 11 years old.

It was ok but you can't get a lot to add to you'r houes.You can't get married.Butt the quest and endings are fun.And takeing care of animals and cropes is fun to.Geting people to can be hard or it can be fun to.Oh and don't bother giveing Dia blueberries she dosen't like them.

Okay no fun no festivals no weddings no infinite game play AND NO CHILDS WHATS THE USE. The PS1 and Nen64 game was bet you get all thos i listed above without the no's well i boute it is sortta for but 8 months arnt much gameplay it needs more.
And they took all the fun out and replaced it with grafics, the only good thing is rideing a horse out of town.... Ahhhhh....

The game could be better. I don't like how the roads for getting around town are because there to hard and comfusing to get around.I wish you could get married.They need to make it somewhat more like the first one.The only good thing about this game was the graphics.they should have more animals and different kind.I wish you could take the horse around town so you didn't have to walk so much.

I love Harvest Moon2:save the homeland its so cool!!! Gwen really likes me it was so cool when we kept meeting each other in the Goddess lake...But you can't get married or raise a family... you should be able to get married, and the new Harvest moon sounds really exciting, except I heard that it was gonna be in the Game cube...I DON'T HAVE A GAME CUBE AND I DONT THINK I EVER WILL!!! So pls make one for the PS2. and I love how you can pick your dog and train it also my Dog can help me and he follows me too!!! And there should be some exciting days,like festivals and picnics!!! Harvest Moon back to nature was more of a challenge to me. Since not only do you get to raise your farm but you should to worry about your family, in harvest moon 3 I'm hoping that you could have more animals,and have more extensions for your house, and also that you can choose to be a boy or a girl! but mostly I'm really hoping that you can have a family. In Harvest moon:back to nature I'm married Popuri and I raise my son and made him BIG!!! but anyway I think that Harvest moon:Save the Homeland is a great game! I recomend it to those who like reality games!!!

this game is great and the graphics are d-shiznit but you need to be able to get married and have kids.another thing is you should have festivals and a more interactive landscape.other than that the game was perfect.and make the next game on ps2.natsume.......this game is almost perfect.

Love the graphics. It's not like traditional animation were you're just watching a bunch of drawings move on a flat surface. No, these charactors have depth and live in a 3-D world full of colors towns people who are individuals with birthdays and favorite things not just faces in a crowd. I really like the farming aspect of the game best. Starting from scratch with a baren field, overgrown pasture, and a vacant chicken coup. This place needs some work. The fact that you have to maintain the farm is a great lesson in responsibility. If you don't water the crops, they die. If you don't feed the chickens they'll die too. In Harvest Moon, you need to show some responsibility or face the consiquences. It also teaches that being responsible has it's rewards. The dog will do tricks. The horse will let you ride him (or is it a her?) There's more to responsibility than doing the chores. HM also teaches people skills (or a reasonable facsimily). If you are nice to people, they'll be nice to you. You can begin to show them kindness by getting to know them. Like I said, they're individuals. If you find out what they like and give them gifts based on this knowledge, even show them a little extra attention on their birthdays, you'll be able to advance in the game. Last but not least, this game has no violance. You don't kill enemies for money or experience. You work for it. Success in this game requires that you be kind, responsible, and patient. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither will your farm be. So I recomend this game to all you parents out there. It's definitely a better pick than a hampster. Less messy too.

The game is so fun for a while, but after you have played it for so long you get tired of it. And you always win it so fast that you never get to winter, becauses you have to start all over. I also thinks it sticks because you can't get married or anything. I hope the next Harvest Moon is alot better.

Well the game really rocks. It is like you're in the game playing as the character. I've only had the game a couple of weeks so I've only finished 2 of the 9 endings. It sucks big time that you can't get married so the little man is lonely all the time except for all his animals. I also like how the pasture and the field is set up. It is easier that way. And I REALLY like how there is no weeds to get rid of. This came really does rock in it's own ways. I like it way better than Back to Nature. Rock on and keep playin.

i just got this game like 2 weeks ago, and it rocks. i have never played anything more realistic and fun. it has its own advantages and downsides, and i guess ill leave a couple tips for you people:
1. to start saving the endangered weasel to save the homeland, give Gwen a berry (doesnt matter which one!) every 2 to 3 days. also, her birthday is summer the 8th. dont bother giving her a rare metal, i already tried =P and when she says can i talk to you a minute, say yes, read what she says, and SAY DEPENDS OR YOU ARE SCREWED!!!! also, when she asks if you can love forever, say its possible. thats all i got so far, haha. need to continue.... oh and by the way people, START WRITING PROPERLY!!! you know how freakin hard it is to read what you say?!?!? although i am impressed at how many 10s this game got. well here's another one!!! ~*PERFECT TEN*~ ok later people gotta go make out with gwen. i mean go out with gwen.

Hey, this is the first Harvest moon game ive played for any system, and i like it, but its kinda boring after a while...
It also looks like a bad dreamcast game, how the little sprites walk together, and that NO ONE talks, its all words... although it is a fun game and i will play it forever! I plan to buy all the harvest moon games... just to see what its like...but i have one question, why does his hat say "TOY" i was just wondering...Oh and also, why are thier little sprites? and a goddess? i dont understand, probably because this is the first harvest moon game ive played, and that i didnt read the instruction manuel.. oh well...

it does suck that u cant get married but it has great graghics and the best story line i do not really like that u have to talk to the people at the begginning to know you and that they say the same thing over and over the first time. email me 4 questions because i have finished all 9 endings and have just about everything plus i am the gamer QUEEN !!!!!!!!!!
