Lacking in immense Playstation 2 graphics and possibilities | | Sk8er N8 from Chicago, IL (US) says (1/Jan/2002): | The game, Jeremy McGrath Supercross World, for the PS2 is not all it is cracked up to be. Although it includes such geat riders as McGrath, Pastrana (King of Freestyle), Lusk, and Tortelli- the game lacks real tracks invovled in the supercross circuits and simplicity when attempting to do tricks ( especially
combos). No matter how hard I tried, I just could not figure out the button combinations for tricks besides supermans, pancake whips, and heel-clickers. The graphics could also be better. Graphics, such as the kind on SSX Tricky, would make this game a lot more fun to play. Also, it is difficult to not always jump over a set of doubles using the suspension boost (L1 button) and land without hitting the next jump and flying over the handlebars. Besides all of the downfalls of this game, there were, however, some good levels. The levels in the Baja catagory are very large (even though you cannot go on forever), and it is a lot of fun to ignore the gates and just ride around. If I had too rate this game, I would give it a 5 because it is not as good as one might expect.
P.S.- Try Ricky Carmichaels MX 2002 if you want a game with a lot of easy-to-do tricks.
