I have beaten this game 10 times and its always more fun. As for wanderers they are ot fun but u can beat all of them. Some dont need easy stuff like a certain car. some want certain license plates, money in your account, and number of cars in your garge. Do not be discouraged because number 400 is well worth seeing. Also some guys need certain days like they need days divisible by 3 or that the number repeats such as 333 or 11. Y'all might think the skyline GTR or all the Hondas and JDMs kick ass in TXR Zero(better known as Shutokou Battle Racing Zero in Japan), but you are all forgetting about the best cars in the game which I would say the German cars. The Porsche 911 Turbo is the most unbeatable, even without the final upgrade acquired with the mileage trick. It is invincible, even against the legendary racer from the end of the game. The top speed of the Porsche is 263 mph and it is faster than the Red Devil or Speed King skyline. Besides the Porsche, my favorite car is the BMW M3. Now I don't give a sh*t if you think this car sucks, but it is the best for the Kanjou area and Yokohama area, as long as it is properly tweaked. If this had an internet option (which there is in Japan), I'd whoop your ass with German cars. Now I never said JDMs are inferior 'cause I have respect for these cars because without JDMs, street racing and every other sports cars out there would not have been as popular as they are today. That includes German cars. As of myself, I would have never developed a passion for cars if street racing was never popularized. TXR Zero has kept that feeling inside me that seeks the thrill of street racing and sports cars. Other than that, GERMAN POWER.

Purple Meteor's car which I think is the strongest in the game. I don't know what the real world equilivent is supposed to be but with the best tune-ups I can get, I've beat White Chrisma and all but 19 wanders. I haven't seen the legendary driver, BUT I guarentee that in a race I'd blow the doors off 9 out of 10 cars you guys throw together. The top speed on Meteor's ride can be 246 which isn't as high as some of the rest of you are saying But it accelerates faster then any car in the game that I've seen (except the end car I'm guessing) I can take off 0-170mph in 3 seconds and you can't tell me that's not fast. I know about turbo and tranny setting but what are the best ones? Seems like your always have to trade acceleration for top end, is that true? This game is the coolest racing game to come down the pipe in a long time, it beats the feathers out of all gran turismo underground because the race setup is so much more realistic. But my QUESTION is how do I get wanders to race me and whats the best car in your opinion? Thanks

This game is great once you figure it out and get your technique with it straight. Because I dont care who your are and how you play every person is going to have a different way of playing this game. If you have questions about it contact me if you want help. I have beaten this game 4 times and it is awsome and I am working on TER3 600 racers and 3 tracks it is tough but I love it. Please put TOkyo Extreme question in the title. I will answer it as soon as I can I have played this a bit and know about wanderers and final engine mods and easy ways to beat people in races. I am not very good a TOkyo 3 yet but give me time. Like i know that the fastest and easiest car to handle before Speed King is possibly the RX-7 or Lancer. And that the easiest way to beat the Zodiacs and Devils its to let your car rack up milage and get the top Mods on Engine and muffler then start whipping Arse. Like the easiest way to start is to use the Lancer that is close to 15,00 dollars and going from there.

This game is my favorite racing game. I'm currently past the first chapter and at the zodiacs. The purpose for the numbers and letters is that all the spec.s in the game came from real cars except the rights to put the in the game don't exsist. So they used different names like the code # for the car they owned, which doesn't matter because you can always do your homework and rename your car like the R-34 to Skyline GT-R.
This game is car nostalgic.

I have beaten the game 100 % complete all wanderers and even the final mysterious boss. His car is Old but VERY VERY FAST!!! I beat him by lyck with an all hooked up skyline with level 8 ENGINE and mufler all hooked UP!! and his car still killed me it prob did about 290-314. but unfortunatly by Stupid brother deleted it so ....i guesse i have to play the game again .. :) take care,,,,!

I rate this game a 10 out of 10, because it is challenging, and for hours at a time,the best things to get FRIST is the "areo tune" it will increase your car's speed and the next BEST thing to get is tires and shocks. Lower your ride as much as possible,it will upgrade the balance of the car.You should get the best tires possible, exspensive but it WILL pay off. Then get a body tune,that increases stability, then get thr grr in your car by putting a transmition tune and the best motor NOW you have a car to race and WIN,i took a TYPE_CE9A car then put all the best thgings on and after 34 hours of real playing it goes 226 mph, and the car only costed 14,250$ at first,but it took about 175000 dollars though, EMAIL ME IF U CAN TELL ME WHERE SPEED KING IS...mixmanx< remove me > at vfr.net, BEWARE, the first 4-5 of the 13 devils are easy, but HOUND DOG is extremely hard, he is #7 but, he turns horriboly, so take the inside lane. AND make sure you buy a muffler or aircleaner to match THE MOTOR, if you dont you could loose upto 40hp!!!!

I am the the TXR Zero champion. I've beat the game 4 or 5 times, but have yet to beat, or even race, The Garage Door. He's the Wanderer that drives the dark red Supra. Has anyone raced him? What am I doing wrong? Someone let me know.
TXR Zero is the best street race game out there. Gran Turismo 3 would top it if you could change the body kits but your stuck with the stock body. And what fun is that? They are 2 totally different driving games so you really cant compare too much with them. The car graphics are top notch. The glowing rotors, the shinin' wheels, the gauge pods on the dash visible thru the rear view and the reflections on the paintjob. Everything is on point, but the turbo boost should be able to go alot higher. Now im trying to win $10,000,000 by the time I get to White Charisma, I think thats the last RX 7's name.
When you can beat The Speed King in a 300hp civic hatch back, you can compete with me.

Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero is one of the best racing games that i have ever played. Ive beaten it about three times. Two of the times i had about 20 wanderers left and the last racer, number 400. The last time i beat it, June 28, 2004, i beat every person on that thing, i had about an 80 to 83 percent win percentage and i beat number 400 on my FIRST TRY. He's about four or five times harder than the speed king. I had the speed kings car and had it fully upgaraded except for the level 7 engine, level 8 muffler, and the level 5 body tune. The only advice that i can give to u is that u better hope that number 400 runs into the back of a transfer and after that runs into those yellow things that stick out of the hazard lane on the highways like he did when i straight whooped him. lol. Oh yea and the guy that said he could beat anybody who raced him with that purple meteor car, i would really like to see him race me, Dustin Stephenson, 16, NC, Rockingham Count High School. The best car to start out with is the CE9 or the CE9A, the one thats only about 14,800 or so dollars. Then get the Viper and u can pretty much beat about all those cars that on the straight aways. Then beat the Speed King with the CE9A, the car that u start out with like i did. But to beat the game search for wanderer requirements on a search engine. That is the ONLY way to beat the game cause u wont figure it out on your own, seriously.

This game is the best racing game ever made. I think it just blows GT3 out of any type of water. The graphics are ubelievable along with the scenery and sound. The sound is great, when I play i turn the music off and listen to the car run. The game diplays the car movments and performance increase very nicely. Nothing about this game makes me not want to play it, the only part that just disturbs me is the fact that truck like to cut you off when ever you're racing.

This has to be one of the better racing games ever produced. Nice detail, it keeps the gamers interest, lots of upgrades and very unique style of races and challenges. Detailed Tokyo streets nicely simulated and gives you the freedom of highways rather then small congested tracks.
- Smooth, fast, and nicely detailed graphics
- Has some of the best integrated AI ive ever witnessed
- Fun gameplay keeps the players interest
- Great Battle System
* Drunken Auto Pilot sometimes leaves you in the worst of situations
* Loading times can be leanghty at times
* No multiplayer :(

Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero was a very exciting and fun game when I 1st played it. But it only took 2 weeks to beat the game. Once I beat it was not fun to race against opponents. The game gets very monotonous and boring. The graphics are o.k but not great. The music is fine and plays a variety of music. The best part of the game is modifying parts like body kits and changing colors. I have over 40 cars in my garage but the best car to start with is the Nissan Skyline R33 when u get enough money. The worst part is that it is unrealistic and there are not enough settings options. This game was worth the $20 I spent but no more than that. The only thing it has over Gran Turismo A Spec is the option of putting bodykits on the cars. I also think that nitrous is for ricers.

so far i have beat the speed king and the other white car that is tha leader of tha zodiacs i just cant get all of tha wonderers to race me and thats why i havent beat tha whole game yet oh and you need to make a number two of this one with more upgrades like audio systems and allthe music from the other regions from the world. we need tha nos tanks and some euro lights and tha glow lights under tha car and actually be able to watch the new engines be dropped in. you also need to put in a view of the dashboard while your in side the car with all the gages. oh yeah we need to be able to change the interior around and be able to put graphics on the cars. you also need to put in a drag strip to test our cars on against other players on the game.

i got mine up to 312 with over 1200 hp.. but any way the game is awesome!! the graphics are alright but the way that u can change the looks performance and over all speed is amazing.. this game beats GT3 because one ur racing on a street enviroment and two u can put ur own aero's on it to make it look better than the stock version.. i've beat this game 3 times and every time i play it it's still fun.. unlike GT3 which gets boring after the first time u beat it.. the only thing which i cna complain about is that the cars move to ur disadvantage.. and that u don't have the ability to get NOS. other than that it game is the best racinmg game in the world!

I totally digged tha game! it is totally challenging and the best part is you can modify your car. its pretty tight. as soon as i beat speed king i had only 1 car up untill i got tha 3 mill! yeah baby than i went all out i got like 25 cars but i didnt put engines n stuff in them just the areo stuff and painted them. i only gave the game 9 stars because i think the cars need to get damaged when you hit other things and you should be able to change the tail lights to clears n things. i also think that they should have made some graphics for the sides of cars and more stickers to go on like the bumpers and stuff. what im looking for now though is a list of cars in american instead of just the type. its still a tight game and ive almost beat it!! i recomend all you that dont have the game should get it!!

around , is because of real-life street racing quality. for ex:this game is not a cheating game where you are able to use Nas
pick up speed like "MidnihtClub 2" . txr0 is hard core, intense,
and assuring to be challenging to thoughs whom are novic dirvers
but, after a extended amount of time you will adjust to it and be
able to play at excellent driving proficacy to become "emporor of
the highway". You are allowed to modify your car with over 200 parts such as , but not limited to Engines, muffullers, spoilers,
side driffts, tires, rims, grills ect. The best trait about this
gameis the tense competition with your rivels like dreamy ghoast,
speedking,white chrisma and the diver whom is a complete myistry.
there is some things that could have been accounted for like better music amd more parts and this game could have been mission
based. although this is not the only game of this siries, it is
still one of the best street racing games that I have played.

This game is wat i was talkin about, Everything in this game look just the way i like it, but there is only one thing i don't like in this game, is that when i lower my car it don't even look low it just stayed the same height. Another one is when i was driving around the course, the car is like slippery and stuff i don't like about that, Gran Turismo 3 is better though everything look realistic, and controlling the car.

this game has it all to graphics,choice of cars,music,and aero parts.I like how you can just ride around seing how fast your car is.The racing is amazing the control you have of the car is the best.You have to earn your way to the top by beating the wanderers and all the cool teams.There are over 100 cars you can choose and modify.There is so much space that you can drive,and so many cars to choose from such as civic,RX7,eclipse,S2000,skyline,viper,crx,integra,and a whole lot more.There is only one minor thing the stickers I like all the team names they have but it would have been cool if they had stickers that went across the car.It would have been sick if they had neon unerbody lights.Every body I hang out with has this game and I think everybody should give it a try.

Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero is a prime example of how realistic games can get. I love it! I only hope Street Racing Syndicate is even half as good as ter0. I have beaten the game 3 times and it gets better and better evertime. Beating white Charisma fely so good
