I have been playing Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero for three and a half weeks, and have tweaked my Skyline to 1015 HP, and can achieve speeds in excess of 270 MPH. The rotary motor cars also are blindingly quick because they lose lots of weight and gain mondo power.
The game absolutely rulz! Red Devil's Skyline is also tweaked and repainted into a black and white highway patrol chase car because when it challenges competitors, it has red high beams, so it just looks cool. It also achieves speeds well in excess of 263 MPH. In fact, my buddy and me raced these cars yesterday in a straight-away, and we were going so fast that the screen rate could not keep up with both of them, and so, we could only see what was exactly right in front of the wheels - the highway itself had turned into a black screen... As a result, I bumped in a turn and lost. TIP: Follow the lines.
All the heavy competitors are beaten, now I am just working on the last few stickers for the Wanderers, but am having trouble defining the preconditions to a race. However, I have a few weeks to do it before picking up Tokyo Extreme Racer 3!

I have played the game over 200 times but I dont know how to race those freaking wanderers i have raced like 40 but the rest wont race me. I have even used a stocked car like most people on the strategy guides say to do. Other than that it's an awesome game. If anyone can help me please e-mail me.

This game kicked ass the cars are sick and the Nissan Skyline is the tightest. The Skyline with 1200 horse power that I own will smoke any car out there in the real world well exepet the Saleen S7. But still any car you think is fast drive a Skyline then you will exprience speed. I can't believe those cheap 64 horse power have turbo though. My Nissan Skyline that I got from the speed king is hella fast. That is the one with 1200 horse power. The Integra is hella loud when you'er driveing in the tunnels it's loud.

The best yet custmmizing games but no nos hardly any cops.and the handling is a bit wierd but makes gan turicmo kiss ass.
The wanders are a bit hard to figure out but i know that is has to be the same cars or the same make like honda.nissan and so on.Yet Auto Modelista is good but this game has more cars.So i would pick TOKYO EXTREME RACER:ZERO!

This game is awesome. I love Having a 1258hp Skyline and kicking anyones ass. I also have some questions. Is 'Tokyo Extreme Racer 2' newer than 'Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero'? and is it better? What is the best tuning for the 'Speed King'car? Is there anyway to get the level 7 engine, level 8 exhaust, and level 5 body tune without having to leave the game on auto-pilot for 24 hours?

Tokyo Extreme Racer 3 comes out novmber 20.
Be ready for a visual thrill. Company states many up grades to zero and great visual appeal. Overall highway lenght 200 miles.
All I have to say is wooohhhhhhoooooooo!!!!! When I first played zero had a hard time steering at first but got used to it quickly once I was addicted. I figure I should have no problem with getting in to TXR3. I figure non of you will either and its MSRP is $19.99. Talk about easy on the wallet.

I have every race car game out there for both Playstation 2 and Xbox, however, none can come close to Tokyo Extreme. This is the one and only game that I can actually play over and over again. Is it that I love it sooo much or is that I still can't figure out why the wanderers will not challenge me. All in all, still the best racing game out there. let's hope Fast & the Furious game can compete.

at firsta i didnt like the game but as i was playing it longer it was only geting beter and beter.My fuavorite car is mitshubishi evo 6 WHY becouse i beat "The Mirage" with it and it has the best stering the only thing i can say is that this game is BEST ever

Tokyo Extreme Racer is a fantastic game which could please an old granny!The graphics and gameplay are superb, it is one of those games which makes you feel like you are in the game. Who cares if when you crash that nothing happens? It's a fun game and what's even better is the fact that you can personalise your car right down to the last detail!The idea of not having loads of tracks is good because then it's more realistic and the way of saying that you're losing is used as a life line.Complete genius!Even the sounds of the engine are different for each car and all the sound-effects are great.This is a game which provides fun all the time.I think it's better than GT any-day.If you haven't got this game then get it because it is great value for money. It brings out your competitive side and unleashes your hidden racing skill.

This game is off the mother f< remove me > at #$%n hook! There's one thing that keep stressin me is that i cant challenge all the Wanders. I almost everyone, and all the Wanders you needed requirments for , but there some that just dont wanna race....If any one has any help, or even suggestion then hit me up! Like for example i raced Silver Ruler with one of my slower rides and then later on after i beat the Speed King and White Carisima i cant face Silver Ruler for $#< remove me > at !, but drop a line peace!!!!!

its a good game the game play is good cars are nice and fast i like how you can build up your money so you can get better things like tuneing and buying top of the range cars and it is good overall so yeah thumbs up thankyou.Hope you carry on making games like this in the future

I played the game over like 20 times or more since it came out, what i know is that it's a great game! In one game i beaten every car accept one yellow NXS, not counting the logo with horns. But i can't understand why it doesn't allow challenges! I know how to tune cars, i made a 2door-coupe imprezee which is the only car i need to beat anyone! even white charisma and speed king any race. It does zer0-256 under 6seconds!! it's just like a dragster. Tip is that it's got's to be on a tilt.(don't want to tell all my secrets!)to acheive that level of defeating all the wanderers is to have "Zer0!!" defeats! and to be able to beat other wanderers in stock versions, So go ahead restart or reload you ps2! I know i did, it was frustrating to the point i kept throwing my controller across the room.

when i first played it i had rented it i literally sat in front of the t.v. playin this game for 14 hours but then it came time to return the game so then i decided to just buy the game but i coouldn't find it anywhere till i went wal mart picked it up for 20 but i the new tokyo extreme racer 2 hopefully it better than the first need to make a car builder so u can actually build and design the car instead of buyin parts and painting it.

I like the large selection of parts that you can use to fine-tune your machine. The visuals are really good even if they don't measure up to Gran Turismo 3 A-spec. I like to race people just to see if I can win. While it seems that good skills and a good car will win, sometimes I find myself frustrated when a car with half the power and more weight blows my doors off. That is a small setback from an otherwise solid racing game. Different strategies work in defeating adversaries. You must find the right one that works for you. The level of customization rocks! Certain cars like the Eclipse look good with some body work. I like the fact that even German cars made it into the mix. The 964 Turbo has to be the best car that I have seen. White Charisma cannot even touch this baby when fully tuned and having proper gear ratios. I am hoping that the developers make a sequel to this game. It gets a silver rank from me (8).

this game really sucks major horse butts. the cars are all gay and cost way to damn much. there are not near enough high speed engines or trannies. i mean what kinda of racing game doesnt allow you to accelerate quickly, go at high speeds (130 mph's, watch out grandma here i come!!!!!!!), and the steering is rediculously unreal. these cars corner like a mac truck (car takes wide left and right turns). this game needs more body kits, some more rims and tires, spoilers, and oh did i mention SPEED. the graphics make me feel i am playing a 1928 atari. centipede looks like 999,999,999,999 times better than this sorry, no good for nothin but bad talk, unrealistic, want to be of a so called video "entertainment" game. maybe if it was more realistic and the cars took off quickly, gained speed quickly, handled similar to a real car, and the graphics were anything near twentieth century i might like the game. also street racing is a drag race two cars go as fast as they can down a straight road for a set distance and the first car there wins. in this game the cars seem to go as slow as possible and be on the curviest redneckiest in the mountains "bfe" roads you can possibly think of. this game is straight runny nutty dookie and does not deserve to be on the self at dollar store let alone a wal mart so if i was you i would not waste my time go jack off or something you will be way more entertained i promise

i would have to say this is the best game ever i will always play this game even when i will beet the game. i gave this game 10 stars because i can play all of my friends and none of them can beet me. i also like the car graphics, and you can put body kits on the cars and you get to choose what gose on unlike other game do.
i think they could do just one thing ADD NOS to the game that would be bitchen then the game would be bomb and no other could touch it, ever... well i would say that. anyways it is the $#< remove me > at !s and they could always add nos in the next one Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero II, that would be the best then.

Any real life or wanna be racer will agree that TXR Zero is the best of the best. With all the different racers you can challenge, it never gets old. Im working on beating it for the fifth time now. Thanks to another website, I was able to find out all the requirements to beat the wanderers. The only thing that could make this game better is NOS, and faces to go with the racers, or having 2 cars challenge you at once. The amount of fine tuning you can do to your machine is amazing, and virtually any color scheme is possible. I hope they come out with a sequal to this soon

The best graphics in a game so far I think.I like this game because you can make your dream car in this game.You can go speeds in this game you only dream about. One of the best things in the game is weather you win or lose you always get some cash.The only thing I dislike is thier is not a single nitrous oxyide system.I think the best cars are the Nissan Skylines.It kicks the s*** out of Midnight Club 2.The real fun starts after you beat all the Thirteen Devils.I love the replays in this game. I like the DVD extra Night Warriors.I think if you do not have this game you should deffinintly buy it.If you use action replay just use the money code,then buy twenty nine thousand Mitubishi Lancer Evolution.Because after you win a engine parts you get all eight engines for your Evolution/Lancer.I like racing wanderers because they race for alot of cash.Watch out for the last Thirteen Devil because hes realy hard to beat.Because he basically has two thousand horse power and wieghs one thousand eight hundred pounds.Any ways its the best street racing game out thier.
