The good thing about this game like many said, is the whole street racing theme. The graphics were descent. The handeling seemed a little too easy compared to GT3. The breaking was realistic. The tracks and the whole map concept was great. The competition was tremendously great, each stage got harder and the cars got faster. The sp bar was a great idea, even when you crash and it goes down faster. The whole flashing high beams to challenge was cool. All the tunes and upgrades were good .The 400 rivals was extremely good. Love a game that doesnt end too fast. The negatives... couldn't bet or gamble money w/ your rival. No neons or NOS. When i lowered suspension it didnt seem to look lower. The stickers werent for nothing but looks. Would have been cool if you were part of their team and they raced w/ you and had your little group or atleast you get more money at the end of a race w/ certain stickers or the wanderes challenge you more often ... you get the idea. I'll stop now b4 i continue to chapter 3 in this novel. ~|}:]>

yeh this game is pretty mad its got me hooked on the old ps2 again since grand turismo 3 im havin trouble with every 1 els with those wanders but and there should be cops in this game make it more exiting. i got a gts r33 skyline in real life that beats any racing game fore sure hehe..

When i first heard about this game from a friend i thought it was to good to be true.(Found out about it week and a half ago). But anyways when i got it i couldn't stop playing it. I liked how i had such a wide pick of cars and how i could modify my cars. The ghraphics were good considering the game is 2 years old. The physics, the lighting, and the sense of speed in the game were awsome. This game is almost perfect. There were minor things that could have been improved but not anything worth complaining about. In some of the other reviews some people said the game needs n20, no it doesn't n2o would have ruined this game, n20 is for people who have no skill and need it to catch back up when they are always crashing. Another thing ,the reason why they couldn't use the cars real names is because car companies don't want to look like they are promoting street racing. Anyways if u know your cars like i do you should be able to recognize what cars are what. And if not just go to a web site they 'll have a stratagy guide for ya that lists what cars are what. I asked all my friends to try and beet me on this game and none could. Its usually like that on any type of racing game. Anyway what i am trying to get at is that if they plan on making a sequel i hope they make a version for xbox. So i can play people on Xbox Live cause i want to find somone who can actually be a challenge to me. IF you like this game you will prob love street racing syndicate and need for speed undergound and for the guy who wanted to be able to put neon underglow and decals on there cars ,in these to games coming out after xmas you can. my sky;ine is the best car i have. along with my rx7 and my nsx and my other two nsx. i have three skylines and two rx7. my toyota supura is the one and only. i beat the speedking and white charisma. the rest of the wanders wont race me. i say that im just to fast for them. my favorite race was with midnight cinderrella.

The game is a great game. I've been playing it today and have beat it for the fifth time and have enjoyed it completely. I really only have one problem with the game and its in the control. I'm not saying the gameplay is bad its just that the cars feel like they are gliding instead of being driven. The graphics are amazing. It goes from the glowing disc brakes,to the street lamps light refecting on the cars, from there to the beutiful city of Tokyo. The game has a great since of speed which is a plus, and the upgrades for the cars are numerous. The sound of the cars is great but, the music could've been a little more upbeat.

At first i thought WOW! The graphics were fab the engines sound fab and the cars are just CLASS! I started off with the A class Celica and it goes well. Buy a muffler and it goes around 180bhp and beats almost any1. Then buy the 14.000 dollar Lancer in A class and then every1 just gets thrashed. Its a class car ( and looks good modded!) But there is a downside to this game. The fact that when u crash in to walls the whole car goes flying and it lets down the race and the game itself.I'm gonna go and play it know and earn some mileage. One thing i know its ADDICTING!!! I was up till 3 am in the morning and still didnt wanna stop. This is a must buy for any car mad teen or man (or woman!!!) and possibly one of the best games (bar Gran Turismo)
Thers definetly an adrenaline rush from this game. Not for one minute are u sittin still. Your always on your toes waiting for the next corner i can guarentee. I just hope thers more games like this!Well done to the boys at CRAVE and lets hope there's moe to come!!!

even though I only had the game for only less than 2 months Im still doing OK my car is a R34 Skyline with a 680 hp engine and a top speed of about 240 the gam is great a whole highway system in one of the biggest cities in th world there one of my disapiontments is that you can't really customize your cars paint ya know like decals such as flames dragons stripes but the bodykit tweak is the best one istarted off with a celica GT4 got it up to 320 hp then bought a 90' supra for 3000 got it up to 480 then bought a Civic SI integra and my R34 sold the SI and integra raced my supra and got about 40 gs and shoved some parts on my skyline raced and got 30 grandsold my supra and was able to get by with my skyline got 185k put on the best engine i have and that'swhere i am now LONG LIVE THE UNDERGROUND WORLD OF STREET RACING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-0 peace

This game definitely rocks. The fact that people are still this crazy about it after this long has to say something. The best way to start the game is with the second gen RX-7...it blows the first 150 competitors out of the water. If you haven't learned the mileage trick...figure out what it is. It unlocks stage 7 engine, stage 8 exhaust and stage 5 body tune. Once you're tired of the second gen, buy the third gen for a mere 30 grand which you can pump to 850 hp and drop to 2223 lbs. It rocks. After that you gotta get the porsche...1160 hp and just 2170 lbs, not to mention the best handling at 263 mph of ANY CAR in the game. Those who have experience the 260Z at top speed know what I'm talking about. Any of you who have any questions about the game....from how to set your transmission to what spring and damper rate can do for your handling, drop me an e-mail.

Although this game has been out for soooo long, i still see it as a brand new game that kicks ass! I think it is nearly like real street racing! The best car is the Red Devil's car from the Zodiacs. Oh, and from the start be the Lancer from class A... the celica GT4 isnt as good. Another thing... DONT GO FOR LOOKS OF THE CAR! When i just bought my R34 skyline i bought all its aero parts... it looked kill, but performed like crap compared to the other tuned cars...
I saw one of your reviews that said u reached 280mph? Heh, i made 315 with a NON zodiac/13 devil R34 skyline. Also, please tell me how to race all of the wanderers... most of them decline... I need to face them all since i have beaten all racers except 13 wanderers... Thanks for your time and... TOKYO EXTREME RACER 01 WILL BE GREAT GOTTA BUY IT tell me when it comes out!

i play this game at my friends house all the time,its amazing.we've got an r34 skyline with 1778 bhp and it has reached 312mph.the wierdest thing happend though,if you go over 310 you get a speeding ticket.i think the gameplay is so unique that i couldnt give it lower than a 9.

This is one of the best street racing games I've ever played,forget about midnight club 2.THe graphics are great like the brake glow and sparks. THe reason i really love this game is because of all the modifications you can do with your car,for example,the ground effecs and engine modifications. I really think this game could have better music.i have beat every one in this game ecept the wanders.

This game is probily the greatest racing game i have ever played, it has such a unique gamestyle, the true trick to the game is the wanderers though. You really need to defeat all of them before you can really get a feel for the best part of the game. Cars do go over 263, i actually hit 280 in the speed kings car earlier today. A few tricks is to get your milage up. After you get over 1860 miles on your cars odometer you can buy the best parts for your cars. Although you didn't have the option for N20 in the game, it is good to keep in mind that nitrus is not what makes all the cars great, just what makes people in the fast and the furious think they are great. N20 is the real name by the way, NOS...Nitrus Oxide Systems...is just one of the companies that puts it out, not what it is.

my buddy and i first discoverd this game at blockbusters. we rented it played it for 5 days. we only beat like 10 guys, and it was a great game so i bought it. the first night i had it i played it for like 4 hours. well i must after beating it three times and understanding how to screw with the gears to achieve a higher top speed, i find it unbealivable that someones skyline can get up to 301 or so seeing how my skyline has 1208 hp and 263mph it only achieves 5k rpm so i set up all my other cars a porsche a viper a rx-7 a evo and wrx well of course the evo and the wrx only get to like 250 but the rest reach 263 with no problem only one problem once they get to 263 they stop so i find it impossible to reach a speed of 301

TERZ is still one of the greatest games out, but it could be better. It needs Nos, if it had Nos then I would give it a 10, but it dont. Oh yeah, and have you realized that no car you own can go faster than 263? Yep, thats as fast as you can go. But I THINK your rivals can go faster so your pretty much screwed there. Dont get me wrong, its the best racing game out there(Well when you think about it, that dont say much, cuz all the other ones suck). I just like the way its setup, no startin line, no finish line, I mean how many other games like that do they have out? huh?Good game, give it an 8.

Who ever came up with this idea is a genius, this is by far my favorite racing game of all times, With almost every car imaginable.. if you know ur cars... and u can work on ur car and change anything you want.. judging by ur personal prefrences on body kits or spoilers.. what a great idea

Wow man i ve played this game and i got a kick man????
But what i didn t like is that the skyline was the best car
i ve needed only three cars to beats this game The Mitsubishi Lancer in the beggining and then the skyline and last The speedking skyline. But i liked the idea of the game you know just like īthe Fast and the Furiousī I really want that Genki and HKS will make a sequal with real car names and more cars?? This game is really exciting you know when i beated the speed king i had an Orgasme HIHIHIHI !! and remeber the most Important thing is:

hmmmm after spending months on this game... i would like to say that there is no other game that could handle such a challenge as this.... graphics are stunning, superior fun, and its just like the actual street racing. Races are at night and that makes it even more interestin coz street racers DO race at night not in the day! the only thing that is botherin me is the brand name of the cars and the traffic in it... the makers should put other racing cars or vehicles for that matter... not lorries, taxi's and other stuff... a real view of traffic would make the game a BLAST! anyway for me its so far so perfect! might wanna add some other cool music in the game!

I cant get enough of this game... i love it it is just awesome... i love customizing the cars in the game.... I have actually been looking for someone to start a toourny with in the game... it wouldnt be online and we would ahve to trust each other enough... but if there is anybody interested let me know rotarypower< remove me > at astound.net ... i will only have 1 tourny with 1 person going at a time so if you are lucky enough to be that one person this time then cant wait to get all the rules and everythign set up.... hope to hear from someone soon... all others will be notified if someone has already e-mailed me about the tourny.....but ummm ya cant wait. this game is awsome ive played it for like five hours a day for the past week and i hardly ever play video games. i rented it but now i realy want to buy it. i love how no matter how long you play its always a chalenge. there are atleast 80 diferent rivals to play and ive only goten to about 25 in half a week. this game is sweet. got to get back to my playstation!
