its a phatty game and all but i have had it for like 2 years and been playing off an on and i still havent beat it cause the wander people dont race my car(s). but yeah my skyline is a phatty racer i only got 13somethinhundred miles on... is anybody else not finished with the game?

this doesnt compare to to street racing syndicate cause you do more stuff then just win money you race for pink slips and there girlfriends and once in a while your girlfriend sends you email and stuff.. but tokyo extreme racing is all right for now but i bet you that all the people that said this is the best racing game ever you guys will be sitting at home playing STREET RACING SYNDICATE......

it is fun and fast! and you can build your own cars! lots of cars to pick from! you can racing around town by flashing other people and it is not a drag race it all for the street! most all inport cars and other cars you may like so i would recomend that you get or rent this game.

I beat all the wanderers!< remove me > at !!HAHA 4 yous who havn beatthem. All in a days work.The final car is the DATsun. Most of the wanderers come out on multiples of 3 and 7 and some between 12 and 1 in the morning. Also, theres anotha multiplying trick you do by droppin tha hundreds and multipling the last numbers and droppin first number of the number you had before

This game kicks some serous butt but it doesnt compare to gt3 in the aspect of realness becuase the developer for got to program tourqe so it takes forever to get started from zero but it is still awsome with the aero tunes and everything and to the person that said the fast and the furious is fake your correct but it is still awsome anyway

This game is totally tricked out. Body kits in the tuning area makes the cars look great with realistic game play makes it the best racing game ever. This game is a game that should be kept forever. Have fun playing this game because its a long great game.Whatever you do , dont give up racing somebody in the game you haven't beat.

for one trying messing with gear ratios stupid. nitrous ain't cheating if you knew anything about cars you'd agree. when you actually have a car thats fast it becomes more difficult to drop your time and you said nitrous is for people with crappy cars? you just can't squeeze you need to build your motor first, that means new pistons, rods, camshafts etc. well the game is off the chain and I look forward to the sequel. as for the guy that 302 mph what are your gear ratios set at? well if their is a notrous code that would be good because my skylines best time is 8.019 and I want to hit a sevejn i have the stage 7 motor. for you people who don't know put 1860 miles on your car and you unlock the stage 7 motor and muffler. props to whoever came up with the brillant idea of making a tokyo street racing game.

i havent yet beat it, but it is still great. my favorite part is the ability to customize your car with aero tuning, and engine tuning. the game isnt easy, so thats another plus and no matter what car you get you still have to work at all of your rivals.

This game is very cool I just got done with the 7th zodiac I can't wait to race The #300 racer some say he is no big deal others say they can never beat him.
PS: the reason I didn't give it 10 out of 10 is because the traffic looks really sucky.

i got mine up to 312 with over 1200 hp.. but any way the game is awesome!! the graphics are alright but the way that u can change the looks performance and over all speed is amazing.. this game beats GT3 because one ur racing on a street enviroment and two u can put ur own aero's on it to make it look better than the stock version.. i've beat this game 3 times and every time i play it it's still fun.. unlike GT3 which gets boring after the first time u beat it.. the only thing which i cna complain about is that the cars move to ur disadvantage.. and that u don't have the ability to get NOS. other than that it game is the best racinmg game in the world!

This game is the bomb, seriously, what other game out there do you get to experience the new import world evolving everynight after the sun goes down, havn't seen one yet. Yeah the cars are great but i love the detail you get to pay attention to when tuning you can't lower your skyline or add bigger rims in GT3. Sorry but i believe the import deal has a lot to do with looks these days and this represent those crazy ass drifters and night riders throughout japan and many other areas around the world . "Roll slow look fast " isn't the way to be. Peace and keep on drifting away!

the people who made this game knew what they were doing...I love all the things you can do to the cars...and no nitro! like the guy said nitro is for crap cars and all the cars and modles and modifacations are what makes this game great...i've never played GT3 but this game is AWESOME AS HELL! every1 should buy it...but it's kinda hard to find but I found it for 20 bucks which is cheap for PS2 games cause the real good one's out are 50 usually and this is just so awesome of a game...it;s just awesome see'n if your smart enough to design a car the blows all others away...like I did but aint no 1 gonna no what it is and itz better than the viper and costs bout 800000 less....thatz stock though but itz great...and u can't no ha ha disocver your own.

i enjoy playing the game ,yeah it has some rough spots to beat
the best advice i can give is to visit GAMEFAQS.COM for all your answers . besides if the game were really easy to beat where would the challenge and fun be in that.
I logged over 600 game hours and 1200 wins and still working one the last 2 cars

the guy from federal washing ton is a moron, oh they dont have NOS, nos is a company not an item, maybe you mean Nitrous Oxide, and besides nitrous is for losers with crap cars, stop watching fast and furious that movie was fake as hell anyway. and the kid who said is Skyline does 301 MPH i have to see it to believe it, my skyline has 1085 HP, thats less than 100 HP difference and my skyline tops out at 215 MPH and its light as possible and its the same skyline version. Anyway this game is cool for people who actually KNOW about cars, but doesnt compare to GT3

this game is great because its extremely realistic. also, the best thing is that even when you lose you get money. there is so much to unlock in the game and it has a great replay value.. the opponents are just right and the courses are awesome.. the one bad thing is that the people of tokyo suck at driving. anyway there is also TONS to do with each car

The only aspect that made wanna get this game in the first place is the Nissan SKYLINE GTR-V spec and the SYLVIA. Why? because this is the closest that i'll drive the only car that will never come here in da states for sale. The streets are wide and the city is huge and it's great for just driving around in first person view when you don't feel like going outside. It's also amazing to see the BMW M5 and Dodge Viper racing side by side. My favorite car in the game is the Turbo Impreza Station wagon 'cause i just smoked the Porche with it. I'll never trade this game ...EVER.

This game is da Bomb.Although the graphics are not that good, I still give this game a 10 out of 10.I've beaten the game twice already but its still fun to play it.I'm 13 years old and I got into rcing when I saw f&f and when my brother tuned his car.I liked how long the game was.There was alot of cars to race, each with their own different car.Right now I have 2 Skylines, 1 NSX, a Lancer, 2 Rx-7's and 2 Eclipses.I also liked all the car parts you could put on your car.The first time I played it, it was a little hard until i got to the wanderers which took me a long time to beat but I beat it.I wish they came out with a new one with NOS, online play and more car parts.

The way traffic moves to your disadvantage is cheesy, and in the true highway racing world (which I can proudly say Ive lost many friends to), traffic is not so jumpy or slack. Although I do love this game a great deal, it is not as realistic as GT as far as direct car relation is concerned. Changing the gear ratios is much to complicated in this game, requiring to much focus on the gears and less on the actual touring. The music is good, but Ive found that every Honda in the game seems to make the same exact engine muffled sound, as well as every mazda. In fact, I think they are actually indentical sounds and that their only differentiation is in make. I think it was also a bit odd that the dodge viper is so high up on the food chain in terms of cars, unless we look at displacement. I do like that hitting walls causes a decrease in the amount of points left, but I dont like that if your oponents car hits you, you lose points, blocking your opponent in a very serious racing strategy and you should not be punished for it.

i got this game about 3 months ago i guess and ever since ive been hooked the graphics arent all that bad when u consider that the load time for the game is great i have over 600 wins and probaly 400 loses cause i was jokeing around to much i have 1 wander left and the final boss witch i cant wait for i have a complete list of what are the requirments for all the wanders and well it helps out alot zero is my remaining wander and boy is getting him a bitch i need 365 days just to race him and have aprox. 300 as for advice about this game just more racers once u beat the 13 ghost and the zodiak it would be kooler if their wasnt so many cars u already have beaten as for my line up of cars my top cars are a 300gt 3 skylines with a range of 840 to 998 hp and have over 30 cars as well all tricked out i wish that they made the viper better though cause with its high taurqe it was a bad invest ment also i wish that they made a second game and didnt limit brand new cars to parts that are not as powerfull as the ones for ur first car also i think just because of this game i will be come a street racer when i get my license

I have beaten the game 100 % complete all wanderers and even the final mysterious boss. His car is Old but VERY VERY FAST!!! I beat him by lyck with an all hooked up skyline with level 8 ENGINE and mufler all hooked UP!! and his car still killed me it prob did about 290-314. but unfortunatly by Stupid brother deleted it so ....i guesse i have to play the game again .. :) take care,,,,!
