Ps2 has all those other games like burnout and other boring racing games that only idiots are mezmorized by. but this game Tokyo Extreme Racer is and always will be the best ps2 racing game ever. it blends roleplaying customization with hardcore racing action. it completly gives GT3 a bitch slap because of the broad selection of cars and parts. I love the hardass personalities of the rivals like the thirteen devils but the zodiacs are kinda fruity. anyways, yeah you should buy at least 2 copies of this game in case your loser brother breaks ur first one. the only thing i can suggest for a sequel to this game is to beef up the crashes, make the game a bit harder, and have the real names of the cars so i dont have to think of what they are. GT3 doesnt have the customization, thats why it sucks and TXRZ rules.

This has definetly been the best racing game this year. I recently got it and immediatly was warped into hours of nonstop exciting illegal street racing. This game is like Gran Turismo but with upgrades for your vehicle like side skirts, rims tires, weight reduction, spoilers, grills and even the freedom to change the horn sound and make and paste your own stickers. This game has my total approval except the fact that it actually rather easy, but thats what people want we dont want to be stuck in games we wanna race and race someone new every time. This is why Tokyo extreme racer zero is the best gme ever!

This has to be one of the better racing games ever produced. Nice detail, it keeps the gamers interest, lots of upgrades and very unique style of races and challenges. Detailed Tokyo streets nicely simulated and gives you the freedom of highways rather then small congested tracks.
- Smooth, fast, and nicely detailed graphics
- Has some of the best integrated AI ive ever witnessed
- Fun gameplay keeps the players interest
- Great Battle System
* Drunken Auto Pilot sometimes leaves you in the worst of situations
* Loading times can be leanghty at times
* No multiplayer :(

This game is the best racing game ever made. I think it just blows GT3 out of any type of water. The graphics are ubelievable along with the scenery and sound. The sound is great, when I play i turn the music off and listen to the car run. The game diplays the car movments and performance increase very nicely. Nothing about this game makes me not want to play it, the only part that just disturbs me is the fact that truck like to cut you off when ever you're racing.

This game is just incredible, it's very richly done and is highly detailed.2nd best racing game ever next to gt3,altough the're a little different.Graphics aren't that bad either from 1-10,definetly a 8 3/4

I love the fast paced, adrenaline pumping, competitiveness of this game. The huge number of aero, engine, and suspension upgrades just blow my mind. The detail of the expressway traffic, and the city skyline are some of the most amazing graffics I've to this date. I would highly recommend this game to any major car game enthusiast out there. Do not pass this game up, go buy, or rent this game right now.

If you are into Racing sims then this game is a must have. Comparing it to GT3 would be unfair because the games have two different goals. If you love the thrill of street racing then this game is a must buy. Its fun with tons of cars, mods and even custom paint jobs. Once again its no GT3 but it doesnt have to be because its fast and its fun a must have in your PS2 library

Tokyo extreme racer is the greatest car simulation game as of now. In my opinion it is better than Gran Turismo 3. Awesome Japanese cars (Lexus, Honda, Mitsubishi all of them) with tons of add on options and real driving capabilities. I recommend everyone to buy this AWESOME GAME

This game is the best i have ever played. It has tons of cars and places to race. And you are not restricted to a race track, You have miles and miles of highway to choose from. It has great graphics, even the traffic vehicles look good. I rented this game first, but as soon as i played it, i got to the store ASAP and bought it. I thought GTA3 was good but Tokyo Extreme Racer Zero is even better. And another thing is that you can do all sorts of things to you cars, body kits, engine upgrades, suspension, wheels, tires, etc. This game isnt short, you might think the game is over, but guess what you havent even got started. There isnt one thing about this game that you will dislike. I just hope they make another one. If you like import cars you will love this game. The replays on this game are incredible, they look like real life, even when your playing the game it looks real. In this game you can race any car you want to. And you dont always have to challenge someone, you can also get challenged. If you liked the movie Fast and the Furious you will love this game.

In tokyo extreme racer zero you start with nothing ,but buy a car and in no time you can rule the streets. This game is absolutley incredible the speed, the handling, the adrenaline. One reason this game is so great is the realism and how no matter how many times you race someone its never the excact same race.This game is so fun and addictive I play it all night long. Also it's great when you get good enough you get challenged by the thirteen devils. The music alone can make you love this game it is perfect. If you are reading this now please stop a moment and give this game a ten because it has everything and it never NEVER gets boring. Please play this game as soon as possible because if you do not you are just missing out on what will be a classic. Tokyo extreme racer zero is probably the only game that deserves a perfect score of ten trust me its that good. Okay now get off the computer and go rent...NO buy this game right now.

This game is awesome. It allows you to race against more then 300 differnt drivers and you have the ability to win more and more money to fix up your ride. It has multiple levels you have to beat and is so realistic. I highly recommend it.
