At first I played this game at my cousins house and it was radical. Soonit was my birthday and my uncle was getting me a game. I knew I was going to get this game. It was a hard game and my save is up already to 400 hours and 30 minutes. I have so
much people in my party who are strong. For some reason Yuna is my strongest but I suspected Auronwas. Well all I have to say is that this game Final Fantasy X is a true game you will not get tired of because I had this game for a long time and I aint tired one bit.

I have just played final fantasy 10 and no doubt i'll like to say that it is the best game of the final fantasy series.so if u have not bought it buy it immediately i grantueed u that u will not like it, perhaps u will love it.the graphics are stunning espacialy cg movies is the salient feature of the game.the story is so strong that once u start this game u will not want to leave it.the sound is damn good the faces of the characters r highly detailed ohh!! i miss the music of ffx .its music (espacialy the hymn)is so good that u would not believe on yor ears and u want to hear it time n again.that is y i rated this product 10/10.

I don't like Final Fantasy X that much Auron is an old man it was way better if you can fight with him when he was 25. There are only 4 Overdrives. And why don't they say Tidus' name? I know because Tidus is the only character that you can rename. Final Fantasy 7 is still the best. Squaresoft don't make Final Fantasy X-2 boring. Vincent is a cool guy he can transform that's what i like of him. but you can't control him. I really hope that squaresoft makes another Limt Breaks with transform including controlling the monster.

This is one of the best RPG games I have ever played.It has a new grid system, good graphics, being able to control your aeons,the mini game blitzball, and much more. Even though the people say that the grid system is stupid and stuff like that, it is probably because they are to lazy to do it. if you like the other Final Fantasy games you would probably like this one, or if you like rpg's you should get it.

FFX is Truly the best game ever! The new battle system is great. The Sphere Grid is a good thing. Being able to controll the Aeons is amazing. The graphics are better than any game ive seen including the othher FF games, which are all amazing!As i have already sead this is the best game ever and will go down in RGP history! I know that many fans of the Final Fantasy series were waiting for this game for a long time... but after the long wait, I think Squaresoft could have done a lot better. I'm a long time fan of the Final Fantasy series but I was very disappointed with this game. Please Squaresoft, don't go the way of those game companies that think pretty graphics will sell a game. To me, it seems like this game is mostly about graphics. I don't like the new sphere grid system and there's no world map to wander around like all the other Final Fantasy games. There is an airship, but you don't get to control it. This game is also too linear for me. The aeons (summoned monsters) are okay. They can do a lot of damage later on in the game (over 9999 hit points of damage can be done) but once you summon one, the monster is left to fight the enemies alone. It's cool how you can control it though but still... fighting by itself could get it quickly killed. The story is good though and I don't know why this one gamer on this site said that Tidus and LuLu's names were never mentioned throughout the game. I've heard the other characters say Tidus and Lulu a couple of times... and what's wrong with Wakka's name? Nothing wrong with it. Final Fantasy 7 was and (to many other RPG gamers out there) still is the best Final Fantasy so far. I hope Final Fantasy X-2 will be a lot better.

It was the best Final Fantasy game ever but there was a couple problems. First the Aeons Like Bahamut, he just looks way too different. They should've kept him as a dragon and more people shoulde be able too summon the Aeons. the sphere grid is good and all but it was way too large and way too time consuming with having too deal with the sphere's and stuff like that. they should've left the experience points in.i Also think that the cloister of trials was also a waste of time. Blitzball was an awesome add to final fantsy cuz its freaking fun. oh and one more thing they should've madt the characters talk more during battles. so in conclusion the game had its falws but over all it was the best game i ever played and i'm looking foward to Final Fantsy X 2.

I agree with what people are saying in some ways, For example the ablity to control your aeons great idea , no world map not so great, abilty to switch charcters in mid battle great idea, not able to level up not great. I like this game but im sticking to my ps1 final fantasy games.

Final Fantasy X is no dought one of the best RPG's I've ever played! The graphics are the best i've ever seen in a video game, the voices of the characters are great, and the gameplay and battle system is extremely easy to get used to. I'm glad Square took out the ATB system. It would make this game a lot harder! If you only changed the ATB system in the battles and nothing else I would have died hundreds of time. And, this game is not rental worthy.......you need to BUY IT!!!!! This is proof that Square should remake Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9 for the PS2! I cannot wait for FF X-2!!

I quickly went out a purchased this game the day it came out. After ffvII, ffVIII, and ffIX, i thought this game was goin to be awesome. Boy was i let down. The graphics i give a 9, the sound i give a 7, the gameplay i give a 5, fun i give a 1. Yes a 1, its that bad. I hate the sphere system, its just plain dumb. what happened with the normal way to give your character skills, its not the past thats for sure. They need to revive that old way to give the characters skills. And its boring majorly boring. stick with the ps1 rpg's by squaresoft(now square-enix), and go to namco, and konami.

The average playing time is about 50 hours for this game, and the whole time I spent it glued to my screen. Sure the game is dubbed, but you can hardly tell unless you are paying atttention to that and nothing else. The graphics are pheonomal, its like you can reach out and touch the characters. There is not a point in the game you are bored. Also, the story line is compeltly origanal. Nothing even comes close. The game is 50 dollars but is worth over a hundred.

Final Fantasy has produced the nine best RPGs ever. This one was a complete letdown. The voice-overs aren't co-ordinated with the characters lips. The game is more frustrating than challenging. The GFX aren't as good as they could be. The storyline is boring. Two good things are that it has some voice-overs, and the storyline is addictive (yet boring). I give it a 5 because is it still better than most of the RPGs out there. Another thing is the you wait for the end of the game hoping to face a big, hard to beat boss. What do you get? A wimpy spider that is really easy to beat.

this game is wonderful..the graphics was great.. I really loved the voices on them and also the great monsters and the storyline. The value of this game is about $30. I would definetly get this game for ps 2. I thought this game was not gonna be that great when it came out but it proved me wrong.. Although i dont like the part about you cant ride chocobos. The fun factor is great because you can play it again and again.

This game wasn't that great, The graphics were good and the Aeons were cool looking, but you can't level up, the voices are lame, and they don't say Tidus's name at all, it's like "Your my favorite player .... whay's your name?" or " lulu: Who are you? Tidus: My name is...... Oh yeah, I forgot my OWN NAME." I know it depends on the player on what his name should be, but they could have done something. And the names are kinda werid like Wakka which sounds a candy bar. Over all this game wasn't that great.

Final Fantasy X is flipping amazing.It is so addictive and will keep me playing it untill i see the words the end. The Fmv's are spectacular. They are so realistic it is nearly unbelievable. The characters are really cool especially star blitzball player Tidus of the Zanarkand Abes. He is by far my favourite character. The graphics and sound are top class and the gameplay is extremely fun. I think the storyline is superb. The mini game Blitzball is outstanding. It is so fun to play and there are tournaments as well as a league which makes it even better. This is by far the best Final Fantasy yet. It out ranks Final Fantasy VII by a long shot I think. The Aeons in Final Fantasy X are wicked. Some are the same such as Ifrit, Shiva and Bahamut but they are still cool especially with the cracking graphics. The fiends are cool enemies and there are different ones everywhere you go which is ace. Some of the fiends were in the previous Final Fantasies such as the bomb and blob which were in number 8. A big version was made of the blob too which was very clever I think. I cant wait to buy Final Fantasy X Part 2 when it comes out.

Until FFX came out, I hadn't been genuinely entertained by an FF game since VII. FFX is head and shoulders above VIII as far as storyline goes and far superior to FFIX in the adult gamer appeal department. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed both games, but neither compares with VII or X. X introduced the in-battle party change. I think that's one of the best ideas to be introduced to RPGs since I started playing. No more fighting unwinnable battles with the wrong people. Also, I like being able to control the aeons, like in VIII. I just don't think I can say enough about FFX. No RPG lover's collection is complete without it. Very fun with pretty good replay value, and, if you know what you're doing, a pretty good lifespan. Make sure you get this one.

I have played all the final fantasy games and this one was the best. The graphics were exerllant than the rest of the games,the voises are brilliant and the music is great. You have great control of the game and the value is worth it. how can any one not like the game.

Firstly, I must say, that if you are a great fan of the previous Final Fantasies like I am, then don't hesitate to buy this game! This game has splendid and detailed graphics, with swaying grass and birds in the skies. You can play as seven different characters. Each with their own special moves.
If you have never played Final Fantasy before, the chances are that you will get very confused at the start, but gradually enjoy and understand the game. There are also two special mini games, which are Blitzball ( I am not very keen on that), and Chocobo Riding (Which can be annoying!).
The game is very very very long! It is soooooo long and HARD!!!! It took me a few months to complete the game( which is about 40+ hours long). After completing the game, you have secrets and special events to unlock.
The cutscenes are very realistic and go from the rock hard hair and shaking bodies to the smooth and swaying true cutscenes.
The monsters and enemies are fabulous and the storyline is good, and gets very tense towards the end with very sad and weepy ending!
There are so many places to visit, but the bosses get harder and harder, in which the sphere grid really comes in. Summoning Aeons are the best, and the overdrives are spectacular.
Graphics- 9 out of 10: Detailed and realistic, sometimes fake cutscenes let it down.
Sound- 8 out of 10: Translation dodgy, but music score is very high.
Gameplay- 9 out of 10: The fighting is easy to master and spectacular. Special moves are an extra bonus. Except repetitive appearing enemies can be very annoying.
Life Span- 10 out of 10: Long enough to last you an age! Secrets and mini-games can make the original even longer! Will it never end?
OVERALL:
9 out of 10- Final Fantasy fans rejoice! Newcomers are still welcome! Square! Keep up the goodies!

honestly, i was quite excited when ffX was released, hoping that square have released the game that would top ff7's story and ff8's gameplay and plot. GF's in ff8 was way too cool, but in ffX, i dont think so... they did a great job in making ifrit and shiva way too cooler than ever, but bahamut looks really lame!!! (i was kinda hoping that bahamut would top em all...). another down on this game is that the story is too short... didnt satisfy me at all..
