I have been playing games for most of my entire life which has spanned 17 years and I can say, hand on heart, that absolutely nothing even touches Final Fantasy X. It is the only game that I can ever call perfect because, in my honest opinion, it has absolutely no flaws. None. It's graphical beauty is matched by the most insanely fun battle system and engrossing storyline.
With a very atmospheric soundtrack, addictive and gratifying battle system and leveling up process, and a deep storyline with evolving characters I travelled through the world of Spira until the very end and relished every second of it. Even after you have finished the story (a long one at that) there are plenty of extras such as Monster Arena and Dark Aeons that will keep you thoroughly entertained.
In summary:
* GRAPHICS - Even to this day the CG cut scenes are eye-wateringly brilliant.
* SOUND - An atmospheric tracklist accomodates the touching game perfectly and really cements the deep ambience that is core in this game.
* GAMEPLAY - The turn-based system was most certainly the right way forward for Squaresoft as it allowed you to simply take your time and enjoy truly outsmarting your opponent as opposed to rushing tactics. The overdrives have really cool animations and the temple of trials sections add a nice little touch that ensures that the game is not solely concentrated on fighting.
The sphere grid system is a very original and fun way to level up your characters.
* LIFESPAN - The game is extremely long and there is LOADS to do afterwards. Even once you have completed the game you WILL want to do it all over again.
* FUN FACTOR - This is not a game that you can pick up and play for five minutes. The cutscenes alone can be up to half an hour. But if you have the time to spend on this game (time well spent might I add) then the gratification of owning bosses and blitzing Blitzball is enough to satisfy any gamer.
* ORIGINALITY - Clever and engrossing story that constantly twists and turns and keeps you hooked to the very end. This may not be a point on originality - but the fact that the characters now talk is one of the many reasons why this is lightyears ahead of any other final fantasy.
* VALUE - Now at £20 (and the official strategy guide for only 12 odd quid) this game is more than just a bargain. It's a steal.
I really cannot emphasise enough how much you NEED to play this game. It is absolutely outstanding in every single possible way and words alone really cannot tell you how perfect this game is.

I am a FF Fanatic....but this was by far the worst one i have evey played.... after u finished a mission, u could spot a chest but they would take u back to the airship anyway... it seemed like u have no control over this game, u dont play it, it plays you. The only good thing i can say about this game is the battle set-up thats it.... Weak characters.....Weak storyline....weak everything...From the very beganing u can obviously tell that Tidus isnt the one in the sphere....its Shuyin....Big surprise...and the main boss Venagun... i beat him with level 45 character....it was such a disapointment with no challenge...so i offered the game to my 2 month old child...it might challenge him but not much. Out of every ff game ive played witch is all. This one would have to be the best. The whole game keeps wanting to see what happens next. You also feel for the game. The charecters emotioins makes you feel emotion. The charecters are so detailed you almost now about there whole life. And since they talk your not reading the whole time. you actually can watch the game. Out of all the final fantsy games out there. there will never be one this good. ffx2 was ok but....it laked story and the whole mission thing is prety stupid..but its and ok game. and if you want to now what happens to Tidus make sure u get 100% in x2 because you learn all about him. But the ending to x is amazing... its really sad...and you wonder why it ended that way but you still... really like it. the charecters are ausome the music is ausome, the graphics are ausome and your aeons witch is probly one of the best parts is aousome.... the bosses are challeging but with hard work and lvling you can take extream meausers and defeat anything. I REALLY RECOMEND PLAYING THIS GAME.....YOULL LOVE IT YOULL PLAY IT FORM START TO FINISH A WHOLE BUNCH OF TIMES.

I am so brainwashed!I must play the game every single day!If I lose a fight, I'll do it over and over again, I MUST see what happens next!
The game is so beautiful, I started with Final Fantasy 4 and 5 for the Playstation, and that was so cool already!!yaaaaay!
So you can imagen how I reacted when I got Final Fantasy X (and X-2, promised myself not to play it until I finished X) ánd my playstation 2 :P
The grapics are beautiful indeed, the monsters are weird and sometimes veeery irritating, calling bad names at them when they are allowed to attack 600 times and I have to wait! >:(
-I like Tidus(smexy no?) but not in the beginning with his ''alrighty'',He is very weak in all my fights, I use Rikku,Auron and Yuna alot.
-Auron...ooohoh, I think I'm totally in love with him :P weird, but whatevah, He is VERY strong and has the most Hp...I always use him :P
-Lulu, a wonder her dress doesn't slip down a little with everything she does, jessh, I think the fluffy part just hides her nipples, BUT I like her alot, she is my sarcastic pessimist.
-Wakka, When I saw him for the first time, I thought he talked very weird, like if he was ''simple'', but now I''m used to it, Wakka is very nice, very naive yes.He has alot of Hp, but he isn't super strong, and weird enough all the enemies hate him and hit him first, Is that normal :S
-Rikku, I like her alot, yes she tried to kill Wakka and Tidus(ack, I called my Tidus ''Damy''), but still she is nice, she is sort of the little happy eek-what-is-that-thing girl, I like her eyes.
-Yuna, I don't know what to say about her, It was cool that she and Tidus kissed :P But now I don't what her to die too, but when I look at FF X-2, she isn't....I like the Icequeen aeon (don't remember her original name anymore, I called her Anastas) the most, she is so strong and she get's mad quick.
-Kimarhi...hmmm..hmmm, He looks cool, I really like him, pity he's the only Ronso now(I hate Seymore, he is an irritating dead guy, hope he stays gone).But he's pretty weak, only use I have is his ''Doom'' when he got's an overdrive.

If I had to decribe this game with one word it would be "Beautiful". Never in my life have I seen a RPG quite like this. FFX pulls you into a world with breathtaking graphics with
the most amazing colors that I didn't even knew existed, music that makes the story so emotional and dramtic, and a storyline that leaves you (at least me)breathless and moved. And it's has some of the most realstic CGs to date. One of the most coolest things in game to me is the new battle system. I like the fact that you could change memebers in your party during the middle of battle and that you didn't have to find a save point to do it. I also liked the sphere grid. At first I didn't think I would, but after playing a few hours I began to change my mind.
After moving across the shere grid it felt to me that you got to
actually pick and choose how you wanted the character's stengths and weakness to improve. I also LOVE the Aeons and how you can control the Aeon like another memeber in your group and that you can also raise the Aeons atributes and give it new skills and spells. The one thing that I would say that was funnest about this game would be that you can actaully play blitzball. I LOVE
blitzball! *Sigh* Even with the good come some bad. Like the voices in the game, not mentioning names (*cough*Yuna*cough) are bad at times. There not so bad that you have to put your TV on mute and are forced to read the subtitles through the whole game. But it can be annoying from time to time. That being the only bad thing, this game is worth buying. I got moneys worth. And I hope that this is sign of all the wonderful things to come from Square-Enix.

My brother got me started on this game and at first i didn't really no wat to do but i kept playing at it and i relized that it is realle awesome. It has everything u need graphics,sexual contact,exellent sound,and everything else you need. My favorite thing is how you can build your guys up in your spere grid i think that rocks. I got all my ppl have everything on the grid so they are awesome. I also like when it has a movie part but somtimes it gets a little boring cause theres a lot of them. It kinda feels like you are in a movie though thats why its so fun. If you ask me if you should keep playing ot if you don't like it at first keep playing it and begin to wander that it is a awesome game, cause i love it,but thats just me you asking.

This is by far the best game ever i havent played x-2 yet but im sure its supposed to be awesome! Tidas is sweet and lulu is super hot with her huge Boobs! auron totally kicks A** with his ultimate weapon and with his final overdrive i did over 940k dmg. wakka best wep is REALLY hard to get in blitzball but he still rocks. i hate riku(is that how its spelled?) but she is good fighting machina(i think thats right). kimari totaly kicks a** with his spear he was like freya(ff1x). well if u dont like this game u can kick my a** u F****** (who dont like it). well her is a time consuming secret that u might not wanna use. there is this thing called a 30 secound cheat that makes all ure chars do 9999 dmg per hit and max life and a bunch of other stuff but when my friend did it for me i had to fight kimari's brothers they had over 4MILLION LIFE OMFG it took me about 5 hrs to kill them!!! so if u need ne thing contact somone else because i dont have everything(secrets, ect....) and if u dont like this game THEN U CAN GO f*** A COW or ure mom but ne ways this is the best game ever and i really suggest this game over all other games (exept gta san andreas) so have fun.

Tidus: total wimp omfg in a battle w/o weps zidane, squall, and serge, could kick his woosy a**. Lulu: totalaly hot and super kewl, her magic was pretty sweet. wakka: kewl his wep is sweet. rikku: total panzy she always is like AHHHHHHHHHHHH and she screams because she heard somthing i mean really come on who would make a char like that? kimari: KICK A** wep he was just like freya in ff9 spear is sweet. His abils are kewl also. Yuna: total hotty she looks young but she has big( . )( . )
Auron: he is the best char of them all and he does huge dmg with his ultimate wep and he is totally laid back unlike rikku. he is so awesome and his jacket is sweet i wish i had one! and in the sceen of where the monsters attack luca the first time for the bb tournament he is like "Die" which i thought was awesome. Also some rating i would give it:

This game is amazing. I never saw myself getting into a playstation video game, but after the first seven hours of non-stop game playing: I was hooked.
The graphics of the game are good, especially with the aeon summoning. I am sure as further ones come out, these will increase in quality also (I have not yet seen X-2, bear in mind).
The music is really cool. I have no problems listening to it, and it does not get old. The fact also that there is a story line behind the entire reason you are playing the game makes it a wonderful thing to do. I can play this game for hours. Well, that was until I reach master seymore... I am *still* trying (day #2) to beat this part... wow. The fact that it is not all super-easy also helps.
I don't like the fact that it is the same monsters over and over again while you are travelling. I would prefer harder, more detailed monsters that were different or maybe less battles or something. It just seems like you fight the same three beasts five times in a row before you get a new set.
Overall, I gave the game a score of 9 because even though it is the best game I have ever really been addicted to (besides Baulder's Gate for the PC), there are still some kinks and some things that I would add/edit/change. However, that does not take at all away from the fact that this is an AWESOME game.

I started at Final Fantasy X-2 and I didn't have a clue what Yuna ment but then Final Fantay X brightened up my life.I loved every bit.The music,The graphics Everything.It was the best thing ever till I got to Mt gagazet (For people who haven't played it before Mt gagazet i a place in there world,Spira)I loved the Chracters,The only let down i the bit i am stuck on and how the words don't fit in time with the chracter mouth.But after a while you get used to it.This game has just swallowed up my life.It has everything.Action,A kising scene a wedding scene , aeons.Freaks that are practily mad about this game probably wish this world was true.The best thing is BLITZBALL!!!I have played thousands of games.Trust me nobody like it better than me.Have you ever noticed (That is if you have x and x-2)On X you can swim but can't Jump or Climb but in x-2 it i the other way round.Any way I truely recomend thi game above all games.It is the best game from the dawn of time and the bet game of the hitory of the universe.That didn't make much sense but that is how good no...Wait great I think thi game is.

I think FFX is a brillant game as well as others. So many different ways to defeat enemies gives you a sense of creativity. As well as the Aeons,and sphere grid were great ideas too. But the thing I hated most of all is that when facing a boss you can't skip video's that you have already seen. Like a haven't yet beat this game but soon will although. Againg not able to skip moving scen is just insane. However I do love that it is easy to play and understand the game and battle modes, and spells. The game is long but the pace of the game is moderate. You don't really waste alot of time in the same area's of the game. Overall I give this game an 8 aging not being able to skip the movies really brought my game expericne down. P.S The story line music must have taken forever. I guarantee that you will love this game and wonder how they could create such a cool game in such a short time. Well let's see what else to say about this game to make 200 word's. blah blah blah.....lol just playing. You have to at least try this game. IF you do don't forget to save all the time. I have a total of 78 save games, and i am glad i saved them all. Because this game allows you to go back and re-build your character's differently down the road than the first time you plyaed the game. Totally awsome but you cant load saved game in the game you have to reset the game to load saved games. which sucks but. you get so many chances to fix what went wrong when upgrading your characters.

this is how a game should be stratige all the way throught like how to use your caritors aginst certint feinds instead of just attack and win wich is how most of my games are (if u know what i mean). if u want a compareison to a another game thats like ffx i would have to say I like diablo 2 Just as much. I still haveint beatin the game yet and i have to say that this i one of my best game that i will never give to some or lend it to some one Because of the way it is also its got more of a mix betwen fighting and movinging around instead of just fighting like in the 007 games (wicth i like a lot but this game ffx has taken all the 007 games and made it look like a kids game to me). also it give u a new realm to explore and new lagwichs to learn (like al bed(dont know how to spell it)). The reson i got this game was beacuse i had played a little bit of ff9 aat a frinds house down in CA,USA and i liked it enough that i went and got ffx and it looked childis to my mom but she let me get it to try it out and i loved it. If u Find any spelling errors or gramer errors forgive me for thin im not a good typer.

what is wrong with you people who dont like this game? its the best game in the entire world. the graphics are amazing, the music is beautiful, and i even try to play it on the piano. when i finally beat the game, it was 100+ hours long.i luv all the charachters, especially yuna and tidus. i luv that there is romance in this game. i thought the spirng scene was so cute, and the ending fmv made me cry, and i beat it again and it still made me cry. this game is so fun. i got x-2, and i got tidus back, and i was so happy, cause it sucked when he dissappeared at the end. sorry for all you people that havent beatin it yet. the only thing i really dont like is blitzball, cause i dont get it, and leveling up tidus ultimate weapon cause i cant beat that chocobo lady. it really sucked that tidus has to disspperar, and i think im repeating stuff cause i cant think of what else to write. i really hope that they make a x-3. if anyone has any news on a x-3, then please email me at cheerbabe101< remove me > at cox.net, or if you have any questions. overall i give this game a 10++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ i luv it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this game rocks.I can't find any thing wrong with it.
The graphics were amazing.They were made pefectally almost.
The music:this was one of the greatest features.some of my favorate tunes were:Hymn of the Fayth,Final Battle music,Zanarkand Ruins music,battle music,opening music,Mt.Gagazet music,and many more.
The plot:The plot was amazing.It was never confusing,
or bad.Gamecontrols:well,in an RPg,its kinda hard to make them hard.Difficulty:This game is hard on the first time around,but
once you beat it,its no sweat.Characters:I liked most of them.
Tidus:Hes cool.Very cooland isn't scared to share is thoughts
Yuna:Very calm usually,also quire cute.Wakka:Hes cool,funny,but a bit to serious.Lulu:Shes very much too serious,unlike her very
beatifull body suggests.Kimarhi:tough body,soft heart.Auron:An old man,thats for sure.Too stiff.But,he kicks but.Rikku:she cute.she can share what shes feeling,and has a forcefull will.
Seymore:I hate him.Hes ugly,wakko,and you have to kill him 4 TIMES!Jehct:hes cool.I wish he wasn't Sin though.
Blitzball:Its a very fun extra game.You can win great prized my winning games.Its a little hard,but its worth it.Chocobo riding:Its okay.It makes things go faster during the game when you are trying to get to places.Training them is extremly hard though.Secrets/sidequests:They are hard,but the rewards are very usefull.Especially the celestial weapons.I also like the secret aeons.Once you get all 10,your unbeatable almost.

In this game you play as a young blitzball player (I'll explain blitzball later) whos home city is attacked by a large monster and he is sent 1000 years into the future into a world called spira where he meets a summoner called Yuna and falls in love during there battle to collect Aeons (GFs in FF8 and theyre also in the others) and defeat Sin the monster that attacked Tidus' home. Apart from 7 this is the best final fantasy game. There are a few problems with it (so i guess i shouldnt hav REALLY given it ten but it really is an amazing game.) Tidus is a brilliant main character and rikku,lulu,wakka,auron,yuna and kimarhi are also realistic and interesting. The graphics are amazing and so is the music. I think its also good that they havnt changed the battle engine much so it still has the 'final fantasy feel.'There are a few side quests which is also good and i think the sphere grid works quite well as well (this is basically just like the levelling up on the other games.)Ive completed the game once and it took me 77 hours! although I did spend a lot of time playin blitzball which is a great bonus game. Its a game where two teams of 6 try to throw a bumpy ball into a triangular net in a large sphere of water. Not selling this am I? but it is a good game promise! Anyway as usual the video sequences are breath-taking and the story is epic. Buy this game! You wont regret it.

This game IS great ive completed it once and i just started again and at time of writing i am on lady yunalesca. I suggest that if u complete it once and havnt done everything you should start again and get anima etc. On the second time, I realised there is So much more to do. I liked X-2 but it wasnt as good because i loved the character switch and in X-2 it is basically just a big side quest which was very dissapointing... But hey this game is definately worth playing and i believe it is platinum now so it even better! The blitzball is also pretty good way better than it is on X-2. ALSO the FMVs are very good and i love the kiss scene with tidus and Yuna :) (not that i get turned on or anything....) anyway its a great game so buy it and play it! I think its equally as gud as 7,8 and 9 (although i havnt completely completed 8 yet im stuck on wotshername adel?) anyway i feel like geek now so im gonna stop but BUY THIS GAME.. Why the ****s it gotta be 200 words? ive gone on for ages!

when i first got the game i thought it sucked but as it progressed it got much better ive been playing it for 36 hours and compleated it. the game is amazing. my favourite characters are auran wakker and Yuna. my friend has compleated this game and he has now got 99,999 health and does 99,999 damage to any fiend. he has also defeated the strongest boss of the game, Penance. Penance has got 13,000,000 health.he and i have got all the aeons including yojimbo, anima and the magus sisters. some people hoped that Tidas would come back in x-2 and all i can say is that
he does. if you talk to Machean in mushroom rock road in chap 1 the leblank mansion in chap3 and zanakand ruins chap 5 you will get a bonus scene in which the faith creates tidas again and you then meet him in Besaid island. this game is better than all the other final fantasy games but i did also enjoy ff 9 that has to be my second favourite. the graphix are amazing so is the fighting music and if no one else likes this game all i can say is that you suck!!!!

i have played many games but i must truthfully say that final fantasy 10 is the best i really like role playing games because it makes you feel as though you were there it makes you emotionally bound to the characters yuna with a sweet spirit willing to give her own life to save the people of spira and tidus a very optomistic person always trying to think the best and always helping even though its scary because he cant ever go home rikku so adorable trying to keep her cousin alive even though on the outside the albed look bad they really have good intentions when it comes to saving the summoners lives wakka although really silly he has a heart of gold and he is very supportive of yunas decision even though it is a sad one and there is lulu so strong and kind of and advice giver even though sometimes she seems very hard she still is very soft in the inside and kind with a very good heart i love kimahri he is so protective and always there for yuna he is someone you can count on always and auron at first i thought of him as a leader but he kind of a quiet person but he makes you feel like every thing will be okay he is always one step ahead if not just for these characters you should love this game but if you are still not convinced the graphics are a real great step from the last nine final fantasy the storyline has always been good but now its even better in this game and the side games like chocobo racing and blitzball a very creative game when i first saw it i totally wished it was real the only thing i dont like is the annoying constant fights but you can over look it because of all the other great attributes of the games with the great characters that make you like you are really there the great graphics that are not perfect but are realistic and the beautiful but emotinal storyline i rate this game number one in my book

Final fantasy is the best it took me a while to beat it though but it kept me busy.I gave up when you have to defeat sin the third time.Then the next school year I heard kids talking about it so I became friends with them and I went home and tried it again and I beat him.Then i just started loving it again and finally the third night of summer vacation i beat the game!!!The only part that got me down when you got to defeat yu yevon,everybody said he was hard bu he was easy.My favorite people are auron and kimari because they are my strongest.It took me almost 80 hours to finsh it but it was worth it.I also liked it when tidus and yuna kissed because me and my friend were making fun of it.But the truth is i think tidus is gay.Same thing with wakka.If anybody needs help email me and i will try my hardest to help you.Oh and by the way if anyone is a master blitz ball player tell me need help with blitz ball!!!!!I would reccomend this game for anyone to buy your playstation 2 game collection wont be complete without this game so go buy its on greatest hits.

This game is absolutly Flawless. It came out at a great time during PS2's baby years. Let's start with all the good things. First, and foremost. The most noticable thing in any Final Fantasy. VOICES! Second, this game has an outstanding storyline, setting is superb. The environments are breath-taking. Graphics, in the entire game, are outstanding. Monster design is also flawless. The monsters are greatly detailed, and the boss battles are just superb. Sounds in this game are just great. Character design...Perfection. It couldn't get better. Now the thing I loved, and still ador about this game. The Music. Nobou Uematsu...The greatest composer on this Earth. This game is the greatest Final Fantasy in the series, has the greatest bad Guys, greatest good Guys, best Boss fights, Best plot, outstanding music, perfect setting, superb sound, graphics, no control issues what-so-ever, fun factor off the chart, it will keep you hooked for days.
Now let's look at the downfall's of this game......Uh...Um......Wait.........Is it that there is no world map to run around?...No?......Then is it...Uh...I KNOW! There is no downfalls! This game is absolutly flawless.
