Shadow Hearts is a entrhalling RPG that take you through a creepy kidnapping. The battle system is a new innovative system that use a "ring of judgment." If you like RPG's this game is a must have. Shadow Hearts and Final Fantasy X blow all other games and console RPG out of the sky. One character can actually change into a animal form. This game is creepy, entrhalling as well as fun. Once you pick up the controller you can't put it down.

Shadow hearts is the game for you "Legend of dragoon" and "Final fantasy"fans.This game has a great story,cool battles,and weird enemies that you can defeat.In this game you can see a monster gallery of every monster you kill and see a little story about them.The best thing about this game is that the main character(Yuri)can "FUSE".Fuse makes the character turn into other monsters that he has defeated in the graveyard.
Some of the cities are a little small,butt this is a game you have to add to your collection!!!BUY THIS GAME!!!NOW!!!

Shadow Hearts is the game for all people who think that the Final Fantasy series is too light hearted. Very dark, it is a supremely cool game, which I have not stopped playing. And, the additional ending is different, unlike some games (Final Fantasy IX - spent ages getting that stupid hammer!)

What can I say about this game? The enemies are repetitive, the battles all the same and the dialogue sleep inducing. Why everyone is rating this game so well, I am not sure. Yes, the graphics are great, but aside from that, it lacks in every other area. The sound and music, though not bad, are nothing special. The gameplay is Final Fantasy-esque, but pales in comparison. As for the dialogue and cut scenes...whew, my god are they boring and unispired. They leave much to be desired. I couldn't wait to get back to playing the game while these time consuming, uninteresting conversations of derivative drivel went on, and when I finally was able, found that I was not all that happy to be playing again. There were some ideas that were interesting and original, but fell through in the end.

A very exciting game what bothers me is squaresoft didn't make it after all they made final fantasy. The graphics are good and it goes deeper in magic than final fantasy I hope you like it the bosses can be hard but that is just training compared to later on. The game gets in touch more with the characters past than any game I've played. Hope you like it.

This game is awesome, wonderfull graphics, wonderful charcters, wonderful everything. I sugestu tto buy this game it seems confusing in the begining, but then u'll start playing it 12 hours a day. U need this game very in-depth with magic and battle and its more like a movie than a game because there is so much diaologe. Its the best game ive ever played!!!!

the name shadow hearts may hrow you off but tis is the one of the best games it even compares to the Final Fantasy
series and form me that is very high praise seeing as the FF series are the best games of al time.So buy it it is realy really cool.

Shadow Hearts has got be the best thing I've played aside from Soul Reaver 2. It's a brilliant RPG with Final Fantancy styled action. But that weird spinner thing that pops up everytime you attack saves it from being a complete rip off. However, the game has a downfall here and there. Let me clearly state right now, I only have sight in one eye. This game's presentation of it's storyline isn't really V.I. friendly, what with all the dialogue boxes, and repeatative dialogue. That, and the fact Wolves, Bats, and those weird blob things in the sewer just constantly want to fight. And what exactly is Fox Face's purpose? He's impossible to beat, seems to have infinite help, and on some occasions, you can't run away from him. However, the game has more good than bad. For one, I love being able to rename the characters. And I just love the fusion idea. I'd have to say the dragon's my personal favorite. And once you get the hang of that ring thing, the battles are that much easier. And you just got to love Alice.

This game has mostly everything a rpg fan can ask for. It's got the story line and twist and turns everywhere. not better then any FF games, but still it's up there. I read alot of reviews and most of them were good. But for the most part alot of people didnt even give the game a chance, Why you asked? Well its because Midway made it. Now there is alot of sqaure soft fans out there, I know because i am one of them. but you have to give the game it props. Yes it didnt get much commercial time where people could see the real thing. Most people didnt even know it was out, and by then it was sitting on the shelf. To make a long story short buy this game because it just might have the stuff to make it a legnedary classic

this game is on hell of a ride so buckle up with rich charcter backrounds great looking places very high pace fighting scenes each playable charcter has their own speical attack and their enimes are just are developed the makers of this game are masters of games i found this game when i was browsing through a game shop the cover caught me eye and i read the back it sounded like fun so i bought it and when i got home put it in my ps2 and started playing it but what i did not know is what i was in for the game itslef is a good game and the storylines get better mas the game goes on people who have played the game know what i mean and the "end"of the game really caught me off gaurd and i had to start over from a new begining i loved that it kept the game going and i was overwhelemd by it i really like some of the creepy plces they really seem scary at times and the way the game made time to tell each charcter's story plus all the hidden items throughtout the game i think the reason this game is so good is because it pulls away from all the normal games plus it is better than a lot of games this game is full of side quests and stuff like that the game has a style all it's own and if you are the kind of game player who likes games with surprise then this game is for you and if you like games that have rich storylines and cgarterts then this game is also for you bottom line good game good story good charcters if you don't bleive me rent/buy the game for yourself and see you won't be sorry the game at first galnce seems a little odd but it gets good fast and it turns into a great game so take the time to find it and you will be in for one hell of a ride that will leave you wanting more ar at least a part 2

The game was kick ass in tell the end of it. The main boss sucked it. I mean the hole bug head was over kill. Why did they $#< remove me > at ! up the end of the game that way it was sick. I felt sick when I saw it I felt like throwing up. The attacks sucked any body how stocked up on ideas could easly beat it. When I beat the game they started me back at level 3.
