The best WWII game on the PS2 |

This game is one of the most incredable games i have ever had the privalige to play. The game is very realistic and i think it has pushed the PS2 to its limits. The story line is great along with the historical backrounds to go with it. I like how you can only use codes on a already acomplished mission and that they make it so you cannot get a good score on missions when using codes. This is a good thing because nobody can find an ' easy ' way through the game. Though it was a dissapointment that there was no multiplayer, its still awsome without it. It doesnt really effect the game at all. Out of every game for the PS2 this is my favorite. It doesnt turn into some fake futeristic combat like on Metal Gear or Wolfenstien, but that just makes me like it more. This game is even better then the PC games, though there isnt any blood and stuff like that, its pretty impressing.
One thing i disliked though, besides the very minor gliches, is that all of the Panzers are the same type, i wish there was a veriaty but at least most of the aircraft are different. And the game is also humerous, this may be just me but when the jeep is totaled by what i think is a messerschmit, the tire rolles by. Any way, this game i s the greatest i have ever played, besides classic games like Half-Life, but its up there.

Intro: Whether it's from the beaches of Normandy to a secret Nazi military installiation it is a exciting and envigorating game. Graphics: The graphics of this game are outstand. the game has every detail from a symbol on a soldiers helmet or a patch on a soldiers uniform the graphics show every detail possible. From the helmet to the boots every thing is exact. Sound: The sound on this game are excellent. From bullets zipping by your head to shells exploding next to you or drunk Nazi's singind the sound puts you right in the scene. Gameplay: The gameplay is a excellent as the original Medal of Honor games. The game is easy to play and very fun. If you do not have this game already rush out to gat it.

I thought this was the greatest war/action game yet better than the first ones. This game is cool how they get ideas from some top action/war flicks like "Saving Private Ryan" and "U571". The german nazis are perfect designed all detailed and everything. Well if I had to recommend this game to someone I would say this game is worth the 50 bucks uou pay to but this game.

This game is pretty much THE best game I have played since Perfect Dark or Goldeneye 64! This game DOESN'T NEED a MULTIPLAYER OPTION! It makes up for it brilliantly with a MAD storyline, MAD Gameplay, MAD graphics and MAD sound! anyway, enough of this. I'm going to play it right now.

This game is fun, although if you've ever played any of the other MOH games its pretty much the same thing. It doesn't bother me so much that there is no multiplayer but except for a few of the missions like D-Day, its the same kind of shoot-em up as Medal of Honor and Medal of Honor Underground. The settings were pretty much the same too. I waited for days to get this game and all in all i was a little dissapointed.

Medal of Honor Frontline is the best game of all time. I've gotten several games for my PC Like WWII Iwo Jima and Normandy, but they can't even compare to the realism of this one! All of the people that say well it should have multiplayer or it is to hard, well go buy a little easy game and let people give this game the credit it deserves. I know the price of the game is high (but it kicks butt) the cheat codes don't work though. The first few times you play it the game is very hard to play but as you move on through it it becomes easier.

Near perfect, so very close. I have all good remarks and comments about it. From beginning to end accept this. Like me and many others I love to have action packed game that are bloody to add to the effect. And the other is multiplayer, but it was lookin so good. I couldn't pass it up.

You are about to play the best opening level on any game ever. You stand in your landing craft listening to your comrads nervouse coffing as the sound of the shells gets closer another landing craft hits you. Then just as you are about to get on to the beach a shell hits your craft sending you flying through the air and into the sea. Bullits ripple like torpiedos through the water. Pinch yourself, but if only this sort of imersion was throughout the game we might have a hailo beater, a shame. However, the leavels after the Omah beach landing are never dull with plains flying overhead and shells going off all the time. The fachil expections are the best yet on a console, there is nothing better then catching a German soilder asleep and then seeing the suprise on his face befor you put a bullit in it. The missions in the towns againsed the SS are nothing short of spectacular this is Saving Privet Ryan the game a stunning feet of game design.

MOH Frontline is so eerily accurate down to the Waffen-SS uniforms that I thought for a moment I had really stepped into Jimmy Pattersons paratrooper boots. Playing the game on a larger screen TV with surround sound is so incredible it makes me want to go home and play until 4 in the morning again and again. The only negative thing I can say is I wish there were blood effects, a wider variety of weaponry to include the MG34, PAK40, and flamethrowers. Has anyone else noticed the gasping for air death sequence when you blast a bad guy? Incredible..now if only he was bleeding all over the place I would give it an 8.

The newest edition of MOH is without a doubt a great game, most of the missions are historically orentated, and gameplay speed, graphics are great. Altough there were a few things about the game that dissapointed me first of this is the fourth edition of MOH and they still have not inculded the Luger as a weapon!, or the M1 carbine, or the flame thrower, or the grease gun, but there does always need to be room for improvement. Overall the biggest dissapointment was that in this edition there is "NO DEATHMATCH"!, whos stupid idea was that it was one of the best things about Medal Of Honor, to me there was nothing better than getting the friends together with some brews and kicking a$$.

This game is by far the greatest war/action game ever! I just beat it and I can't wait to start over. From the first level to the last it has the best graphics, sound and story line. I have people over just to watch me play, they say it is like watching a movie. Everyone must get this game!

I think this is game is the most amazing game I have ever played. It's historically correct. The graphics are superb to any game I have seen in a playstation 2 game. Who cares if it doesnt have multi-player, if it did that would downplay the game to that level. Everything just blew meaway, kinda reminds me of Goldeneye when it came out for 64. I love it!

I cant believe they even thought of making this game without any multiplayer options. This game I was at least hoping to be a multiplayer for up to 4 players like every other shooting game on the PS2. I was so disappointed to find out it didnt even have a 2 player like the original versions on the psone. This game otherwise is very good but the only game worth buying thats a one player is GTA3 for obvious reasons. The developers of this game should be ashamed to only make it a 1 player the whole point of the originals was to laugh at your mates as you filled them with lead. I will wait until a lot of idiots buy this game and make it platinum so then it is worth buying.

I thought over all the game was excellent, but i was disapointed it did not have a multiplay option. I liked the history behind the game, the fact that any of the missions could have taked place. I also enjoyed the fighting the game with so many computer allies. I would give this game 7 out of 10

I bought this game hoping to play it as a multiplayer game, when I got home I was very disapointed to discover that the damn thing was only a one player. A shooting game thats not even a 2 player, come on for goodness sake the ps2 certainly could handle it so where is the ability to fight friends, the whole point of shooting games? The rest of the game is fine but with no 2 player the fun factor goes down by a long way.

I got this game 2 days ago and it is unbeliveable. I havent been able to stop playing it. Already i have beat the game and i have all the medals. The graphics are amazing, and the sound is extremly crisp.The omaha beach level is chilling and holds tons of suspense. As a professional Game Reviewer I give this game a 10 out of 10. I do so because this game has had so much preparing and is jam packed with its own original details and scenario. I recommend this game to everyone who has the guts to play it.

Picked up the game the day it came out, actully only hours after it was released. Graphics and sound are totally incedible and are in a league of their own. I absolutely love how real it looks and how every level brings on more complications. I love how challeging it is and how it makes you stop and think on how you are going to overcome the odds and beat the level. I'm on the 4th or 5th level right now and it's pretty complicaing. Although sometimes annoying, the missions seem to get harder the farther you get into the game which is really cool!! Recommend this game to all and strongly encourage all world war 2 freaks such as myself to buy it!!

Graphics: The PS2 runs at 300 Mhz and has to make do with a limited amount of RAM but EA once again show their mastery of this system by coming up with Medal of Honor Frontline. Let me tell you this game looks every bit as good as Medal of Honor Allied Assault on my PC which runs at 700Mhz and has a G-force 2 and plenty of RAM onboard. Character detail and lighting effects are all screaming with class. Also the framerate stays very smooth
Sound: As you probably already read elsewhere the first level has you storming Omaha Beach, if you have a dolby surround system you will actually hear the bullets soar by your head as you desperately try to make your way towards the German bunkers...the sound of grenade impacts and screaming of your fellow soldiers only add to what must be one of the most intense moments in any videogame ever..
Gameplay: From the moment the loading screen fades you're in for a ride!
Overall: we're not worthy I tell ya, we're not worhty !! hahaha, no seriously, go out and get this, you owe it to yourself....

This game was the best game I have played for the PS2. The soundtrack to this game was wonderful! Once you play this game you wan to play it till you beat it. You really can't stop playing it. The graphics weren't as good as MOHAA for PC (which is an awsome game too), but over-all this game was great. Just think about all the real men, women, and children that had to go through that back in the 1940's. What hard times that really was...well, I not trying to give a history lesson now, but I really think anyone that is a fan of ww2 and loves 1st person shooter games should. Really go out and buy this game!

One of the best < remove me > at $*%#!% games in the history of mankind. The graphics are superb, the sound is perfect, and there are enough health items to keep you livin'. The first level alone is addictive. I played it 5 times just to marvel at its beauty. It's a must own for any PS2 owner. The only reason to not buy it is if you only like multiplayer games, in which case you are a total loser. The controls take some getting used to, but you'll get over it.
