THIS IS WICKED!!!!!!!! BEST WAR GAME EVER! |
| TOBSTER from England says (10/Apr/2006): |
I think it is worth to say this game needs a little
Respect. I, personally, didn’t think much of Medal of Honor rising sun. It was well to short, and sometimes you could get a bit bored. So I went into a game shop and traded it in for Medal of Honor Frontline (I like my war games) and when I played the first level it was
Utterly wicked. It takes place on D-Day. Need I say more? The graphics are godamn amazing and you feel that sense of excitement. The second level takes place in a German bunker under the beach and that is brilliant! Once a German soldier was standing by some stairs, with his back to me. I went up to him and whacked him round the head with my gun, and he fell down the stairs like a little toddler!! You can make people die in tons of ways so you never get bored of watching your enemy die. You can also shoot the helmets off your own team which is hilarious!!! So if you own Medal of Honor Rising sun go trade it in and get a better gaming experience.

It feels like you are in a real war! I never forget it I look everywhere for this game. You could use many weapons also a machiene guns, and many more! Each mission has alot of action.I wonder why they don't sell this game no more.I hope someday they do.

Medal of Honor: Real-Time History |
| Mr. X says (14/Feb/2004): |
When I first heard about the MOH games I thoight it would be like the Valuesoft games such as WW2 Normandy or Iwo Jima, a few hard levels of play and over. But, when I first started the first mission I was amazed. I heard you start at Omaha Beach, then make your way into Germany, I didn't know you land on the beach itself! When I started it I was amazed at the graphics and the sound content. The A.I. was great. The fisrt level involves a great deal of coordination to dodge the bullets and to make sure your not blown up by artillery rounds! The first time I played, I was shooting at the fortifications next to this guy, then BOOM!! he was blown to Kingdom come! (May he rest in pieces), the graphics again were great best I've seen so far. The storyline was great and the historical content was accuaurate. On the last mission about the HO-IX I thought that was made up but, I did some research and found out that the Germans were creating one-winged type aircraft in World War II. Overall, I give the game a 10/10 in graphics, sound, storyline, and A.I. content. This is by far the greatest game I have ever played.

This game is AWSOME!!!!! |
| Raphael from Springfield, MO says (12/Feb/2004): |
I got this game for Christmas and the first three days I beat the game. I would extremly reccommend this game if you like War World 2. the graphics I would give it a 9/10, the gameplay I would give it a 10/10, and the weapons I would give it a 10/10. My favorite level is level 3,4,and 5. if you find this game interesting email me at richard_smythe2008< remove me > at yahoo.com. I give the Medal of Honor: Frontline a 10/10. I would really like to play Medal of Honor: Rising Sun though. Another good game is Tony Hawks Pro Skater 3

One good F.P.S |
| Matt J from Melbourne, Australia. says (24/Nov/2003): |
Seeing as it was brought out early on in the PlayStation 2's life, this game is of very high quality. It is set during and after the d-day invasions in Europe. You start off stormi9ng a beach in Normandy, and then you work further into Europe, acting in operations such as Operation Market Garden and Operation Repunzel. Graphics, great, sometimes humourous, 9/10. Sound, quite original, 8/10. Gameplay, exclelent, 10/10. Lifespan, very good, 8.5/10. Fun factor, good, 8/10. Originality, excelent, the only games the same are the previous Medal of Honour games.
Conclusion = 9/10

COOL!!! |
| Eugene from L.A. USA says (19/Nov/2003): |
The game is cool and it's like you are there but doesn't have mutiplayer, the Germans are much smarter this time, the tanks are killers so better watch out!!and my favorite level is the last level.Choose Medal of Honor rising sun it's fun but it's maybe not perfect but levels are cool!!

WOW |
| Zach from Manchester,England says (17/Oct/2003): |
Just got this game on platinum and its the best FPS ive ever played. The graphics can be a bit dodgy at times but that doesnt matter. There is loads of weapons and greanaeds and stuff. it can be pretty hard and he first level could be a game itself. Better than Halo on XBox

moh great |
| devil from england, staffordshire, tamworth says (8/Oct/2003): |
the best game i've played in a long time. if u want to fight a hard battle then this is for u. i think u should get it.its brill i would give the grahics 10 out of 10.the gameplay is awsome and the authentic weapons look brilliant. it is the most skillful game.

Omaha Beach, Dosent Quite hit the spot. |
| Rob from Cornwall, England says (7/Oct/2003): |
When i bought Omaha beach & played it for the first time, i was gobsmacked. It was fast, furious and if you stood around you where shot to buggery like real life. The only thing i could find wrong with it that bugged me. The beach isnt quite big enough, i managed to complete the level i no. I hope the next game with an omaha level is bigger. Other than that, i comand you to buy this game.

Allied Assault or Frontline? |
| Szico VII from Szico VII says (6/Sep/2003): |
(Written by Szico VII)
Dont get me wrong, Medal of Honour Frontline is a great game, but the main thing it lacks is a decent multiplayer. I know the GameCube and X-Box versions have it but it still sucks. The levels are great and the enemies are realistic. However I found it unusual the amount of times I backtracked through a level to make sure I hadn't missed an enemy so I could get a Gold Star, and found that some enemies had 'magically' appeared out of nowhere. Still, a very good game. Allied Asault is much better though as it has a great multiplayer and more missions. So if you have a good enough PC and a decent modem or Broadband get Allied Assault and Spearhead (The Expansion pack)
|
good but not great. |
| adam from Eastbourne england says (27/Aug/2003): |
medal of honour is undoubtedly the best ww2 game that is out at the moment.but it has its bad points, firstly, when you are zoomed in on the sniper rifle it takes way too long to moove across the screen and quite often it has resulted in me failing the level near the end and getting annoyed and shouting obscenities at people. another thing is bazookas if you get hit with one you only lose just over half of your life when if it was real you would be spread across the level.
other than that the game is fun and it feels good pumping lead into a dumb german shouting achtung!!! at you and killing is fun!! (on games)
|
Another great MOH game!! |
| stringplucker777 from GA says (17/Aug/2003): |
this is best one yet..staying with the games story..
the graphics are lots better and its very fun to play..
Frontline is a all-around great game...one con is that theres no blood:-(...hey its still an awesome game though.the weapons are and characters are tons cooler too. be sure to get "MOH.rising sun" when it comes out!(as always, for the best deal, buy used!)
|
Close but no cigar!!!!!!!! |
| Michael Nice from Baltimore,MD USA says (14/Aug/2003): |
If you want the best military game don't get Medal of Honor get SOCOM US Navy Seals. I think the guns, graphics, and controls are way better in SOCOM then Medal of Honor. Socom is the best military game ever!!!!! If you can't play Mature games. I'd go buy Conflict Desert Storm, not Medal of Honor.
|
The DADDY of all WAR GAMES. |
| Raza from Karachi, Pakistan says (29/Jul/2003): |
I've been playing medal of honour since it came out on PS1 and everytime EA releases another part it just gets better and better.Medal of Honour frontline is probably the best game i've ever played.I hope that EA continues to make more medal of honour games because that game will only take medal of honour to a whole new different level and set the bar for all action games.
|
The levels r fun 2 play! |
| Nick Filipas from Oregon, USA says (23/Jul/2003): |
MOH Frontline is the best there is! And i thik its really super cool how EA got all the things right, like on Omha Beach. I mean with the big walls, my dad was there watching me play, and telling me what happened in the real world. It sounds SO real! With all the gunfire and yelling, it felt u where part of the war. And also a little sad, u no, with all the dead troops, and that guy on the windmill. EA Games have done it again! I just cant wait 4 Medal of Honor: Rising Sun!
|
i love the omha beach |
| kyle from calgary says (28/Jun/2003): |
i allways wanted a omha beach game and it came true but going up laters is very hard with out falling off.I love games where its like your in ww2 and where you have lots of team mates to help you out but the 1 thing about it is when theres snipers shooting you you never can no where its coming from.
|
i love this game it rox |
| josh from melbourne australia says (28/Jun/2003): |
Medal of honour probably the best WW2 game around but it lacks 1 thing BLOOD there is like no blood in the whole game but still i love the sound of all there screams! and cries and you know when tou shoot them of the watch towers your controler viabrates when they hit the ground it is totlly cool isnt it
|
lacking some key factors in shooter games |
| daniel from katy texas usa says (27/Apr/2003): |
This is defanitley the best WW2 game around beside battlefield:1942. But it lacks some key factors in firstperson shooters. For example the length of the game is almost rediculous. All of the other MOH games have had 24 levels but this one is only 19 it should be much longer. This one should also definatly have a multiplayer.half the fun in the other 2 MOH games was filling your friends up with lead while laughing in their faces and then pulling the clip off a grenade.Other than that the graphics are only an 8.The only thing that makes this game so fun is that the weapons are so damn cool. The shotgun rules. I really dont think you should buy this game just rent it. In my opinion the best games are when your driving down the street in a furari with rockets shooting out the ass of the trunk. If it doesnt have that then its just not there for me.
