Lots of fun but missing extras. |

The gameplay is a blast. I love the way you can direct your swing to make the ball drop where you want. Also the season option is alot of fun.
However the game lost a few things in its transition to PS2 which trouble me. First there are no minor leagues which is important if you are going through a season and need to call up a player due to injuries on your team. Also it was fun to watch the younger players develop into tommorows all-stars. Secondly I desperatley miss the old ballparks. The PC version used to allow you to play at legendary stadiums like the Polo Grounds and Crosley. This was very cool, allowing the gamer to play in parks they will never see. I cannot understand why this option was taken away. If they do bring back the old stadiums I would love to see Forbes Field.
Overall however this game is alot of fun, but could be improved upon.

High Heat 2002 was a wonderful game but it was rather flawed. 3DO is quick on fixing things because this game is the best Baseball you can find for PS2 right now. I highly reccomend it for it's superiour replay value and realism. And extras are the name of the game(actually High Heat is but we wont get into that) here! With homerun derby and the backyard baseball game. This game will have you glued to the screens for days and weeks to come. If you love baseball you will love yourself if you buy this game.

HHB 2003 is the best baseball game on the market. The realism this game brings to the table is uncanny. Pitcher/batter struggles are realized and homeruns are earned, not just handed out. The graphics are no longer horrible but, actually, quite good. I would recomend this game to anyone who loves real baseball.

HH MLB 2003 is awesome! Especially with the create-a-player! In this, and the 2002 version, though, I've had problems using the X button to swing. Soetimes it does, and sometimes not. So, I'm called out alot on strikes! I've tried two different controllers. Both are specific for the PS2. This doesn't happen with other games. Any cheats for HH 2003?
