i got this game a few weeks ago and I got really carried away playing it!!!! the pursuit mode makes this game the most realistic one i have played!!!!!!!! the cars are great and the the graphics are of great quality compared to other games and the fact that you need to earn most of them keeps the concept intriging.The courses are really cool and so is the music!!!!! I really, really recomend it to all of you who have a need for speed......=b i give it a ten any day =)... peace ( im just writing this cose this text has to b more than 100 words)

I got the game a couple days ago and when I played It was so amazed at the graphics on the game. This game rules all other games that are racing games. My favorite car is the Mercedes Benz CLK. If anyone is having trouble looking up cheats I will send some stuff to use. I got alot of cars but I don't have all the cars. First off I wanna thank all the guys of electronic arts and black box who have made this game.The graphics are extremely superb and the tracks are marvellous.The nfs:verion carsare also rad.Its a MUST buy for the playstation 2.I am simply addicted to this game.All said and done,this game is worth its price and simply is the best racing game out there.You must buy this game ...maybe your people will also like it.Its a complete entertainer.Oh yeah!I even like the lamborghini murciealago and diablo although the SV version was better than VT version.Anyways its a cool game and you dont need a reason not to buy the game because its so cool.Lastly THANKS A LOT AGAIN GUYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Need for speed hot persuit 2 offers a great chance to experment how all the cars drive. Not just that, but they also give you the opportunity to race with other cars, with other skill levels. This amazing game has all out graphics. If you would like, you could even drive 5 different types of cop cars. It's a good game for ages six through adult. The entire family will enjoy hours of good family style game time with Need for Speed Hot pursiut 2. I hope to see more games like this, without the excesive violence, as see in so many games today.

Yah.... The graphics are sooo amazing. The songs have got me hooked on the game. I liked the first one, but it kind of had that edgeie feeling like a game like pac man. I picked this game up because it was my favorite game. It is a original game that has a wierd feeling to it. It kind of keeps me hooked on it.... I still cannot get all of the cars... Man, i guess when i go home i am really relieved when i sit down and play this game.. I am happy to say i give this game a 10 out of 10...

Gran Turismo 3 is a true driving sim game, or at least as close as you can get on a PS2. NFS is an arcade racer! It's not supposed to be realistic (as in the gameplay) and it never was intended to be! NFS is just pure fun, and GT3 is a lot more technical. You simply can't compare the two. They both have their strong and weak points.
Graphics-wise, NFS could even rival GT3. The gameplay for the two is totally different, though. All the handling in NFS is wildly exaggerated, while GT3's handling is much more like a real car, and takes skill to control. Need for Speed hasn't always been like this, though- NFS1 aimed to be realistic, and NFS5: Porsche Unleashed actually required the use of handbrakes.

should be like.I've played em' all, Gran Turismo 2 and 3, Need 4
Speed Hot Pursuit 1, and it isn't as totally righteouss as this
game. It lets u do what you've always wanted to do. RACE!! run
away from the cops, and check out kool cars at the same time.
I think there is only one racing game better than this game.
That is Need 4 Speed Underground. that is the only racing game
better than this game.Besides, it has the best cars that you can't find anywhere else. BOOYA DUDES!!!!

Need for speed hot pursuit 2 is one of the best game titles i have on the ps2 i mean this game is just totally brilliant in every sought of way. like for example the graphics the gameplay the sound music and the game in general. I played it and i was totally hooked on it for hours. I mean the cars look totally cool and so does the racing stages and the reason why they called this game need for speed is because this game has got pure speed just imagine this game as the fast and the furious if so this game is the one whithout a shadow of a doubt. If you want a game that has fast and furious action all the way then this is an essential game for you to have in your ps2 best games collection.

I just recently finished the game (by this I mean unlocking all tracks and cars) and somehow I feel as if something is inherently missing. I don't have the urge to "just" race as I did with the previous game. (NFS III) The tracks don't really excite me all that much and there doesn’t seem to anything left to strive for. Ultimately, it seems as if the designers didn't bother to add some hidden "fun stuff" like wack cars or hidden tracks, which is beyond me. For the first NFS game on the PS2 format you think they would have gone all out. Someone at EA should be taken to task for that one. There was also NO master password for unlocking everything, which frustrates me to no end. Maybe the next game NFS underground will have some goodies (??) One can only hope

The game does have some of the best graphics compared to the other NFS titles. I really like the realism of the cars and the physics. I dont like the tracks really much. They all look alike only with a few twists, turns and a tunnel here and there. The replays suck because you cant watch yourself from other points of view. Dashboards in the cars would be very nice, and some hidden cars and tracks would make the game better, like the other NFS titles. All in all it is a good game, thats why i give it a solid 8.

It is one of the best racing games but it cant still be better , the races are cool and not to difficult , the mode were you must escape from the police or be the police is the best and the soundtracks are pretty cool, if u like the racing games , what are u waiting to buy this game???

i played way better though i rented this game and my cousin could not stop playing this game and he is only 7 and he hates driving games but he loves this one i think its pretty good my self.Rent it and buy it thats a have to do and the graphics are very sweet the 2 players is a 10 out of 1.

ppl who made this game thanx for making such a wonderful game. I mean its so addictive that i can play it day and night. I love hot pursuit and single race. Even though you have to get NFS points to get most of the cars and finish some events that i dont mind.The cars look so realistic and the scenary and track.Pplwho donthave this game i strongly reccomend you to buy this game.!TRUST ME YOURE MAKING A WISE CHOICE!BEG YOUR MOM AND DAD IF YOU HAVE TO!

I like the game because, all of the cars that are in the game are so much like real life and it is so much fun to play and, everybody who dosen't have the game needs to get it, you will really enjoy it!!! first off let me say Thank you for the ppl that made this game.I kan't stop playin it in fact i haven't slept in 2days that how good this game is,And i am a Big NFS FAN i have all the games from NFS 1 to This new one i love them,anyways the tracks on this game Are something esle i had a hard time keeping up with the computer and i'm an expert at racing games,And the cars MAN!!!,I like the idea about having the ferrari spider on this gamei love it,also the porsche new concept car,and when you damge your car it's funny but they need to add more damge to the car then it would life like if thats what they we're trying to do in this game.also the cop car F**kin Bad i love the new cop cars i love being the cop and also i love losing the cop in hot pursuit mode.Also the short cuts i love the short cuts on this game.One more thing If you have $50.00 buy this game or even rent it to see for yourself so long Djwildcartoon A big fan of NFS

This game is everthing but one of it's biggest set backs is that it doesn't show damage to the car! The other thing is the cops can catch up to you about any sceanrios but the life like of the real cars are the same pretty much the same and not to forget the engine rebbing.There is also a wide verity of tracks and cars. This game is once start playing you can't stop.

I personally is a big fan of GT3 and HP2. To be honest, you can't compare the two so why do so? They are two different games, you get different kind of experience off each one of them. While playing the two, you look for different things. Can you modify your Diablo in HP2? Or, can you drop explosives onto a Suzuki Escudo in GT3? They are different, and they let you have different fun, so stop comparing. I personally would rate both game the same, cuz they are both great games, and both give me different kind of fun with racing.

This game rocks!!!!! It's very addictive, i can playit for hours. It's fun in single player as well as multiplayer. I'm a fan of the GT series as well, but there's not comparison, they are two completely different types of games. Running from the cops is a blast in this game. Probably the arcade style enjoyment with the cop chases is what makes this game awesome.
