This game is so awesome! I mean, the graphics could meet, no, not meet, BEAT those of GT3! This game is very challenging. It has my absolute favorite cars.(Mclaren F1, Ferrari, Lamborghini, etc.) I don't know why some people don't like this game. I think that GT3 is kinda boring because there is no damage, and you spend most of your time tuning your car! NFS HP2 is the best racing game ever! I could play for hours on end! The music is awesome too. The car speed is realistic too. Mclaren F1 goes exactly 240.3 MPH., In the game, it goes 240! How much more realistic can you get!? In GT3, one car goes about 900mph! DING DONG! NOT REAL! Only rocket cars can do that. I mean, GT3 is ok, but NFS HP2 is the best racing game ever! No doubt about it. So, if you got about $40-50 to spend, GET THIS GAME! (If you don't, you'll regret it!)

I have rented NFSHP2 and I know I will buy it now. The graphics, the challenge, the music, Is top chioce as far as I'm concerned. I'a new to this PS2, so I guess I'm a rookie, But this game has me playing so much that I have the pain in my thumbs from pressing the button so much. Now I see what all the Rave is about when Playing these games, It made me focus on the game, I was really their, and when I hit a wall, I actually jumped from the shock of a dead stop. This Game is awesome. I have played to where I have lost track of time. their are so many options, the challenge mode, Hot pusuit , freerace. and on, and on. I thought I was adicted before, Now I have to take a day to let my thumbs recoupe. This game makes me want the driving kit for my PS2. finding the shortcuts while crashing is awesome, just when I think I'm last. the shortcuts put me back in first place, You Just never know with this game so you have to drive to the finish. Awesome work by these guys,

hey this is being a truly great experience gamers, this game got m stuck around my pc, hey believe me when i say need for speed hot pursuit 2 is a good game. the graphics is top class
the tracks are flawless, and the cars are obsolutely amazing
what else can i say get this game if you don't have it people it is really great thats why i gave it a score of 10
it is really worth it. electronic arts as done a really great job this time i can't wait for the next need for speed to be released because hot pursuit 2 reallly rocks. and if it was not for it i wouldn't be interested in getting a collection of the need for speeds it's rally great. thanks electronic arts.

This game rocks but I have it for gamecube the mistake was when you crash.THERES NO DENT MARKS!The cars are all really realistic ,a lot of sports cars and all the other sweet cars you could imagine!!!!So all I have to say about this game is it rocks
and the levels too like the Ilands and forests also!
Thats why this game got a pure 9!

hp2 is a pretty dope game. I would say its more fun then gt3 but the care graphics are not as good. I almost got all of the events complete but my friggin memory card screwed up and it all has been deleted. SON OF A B< remove me > at *$H. Oh well i think ill play throug again its worth it. Some times certain things can get you pi$$ed off like the traffic or slower cars moving way faster then they should when you have a superior car but besides all of that its dope. My advise is to get the game you will like it and if you don't ill kill you and use your tongue to paint my boat.

This game is a very good game. Nothing compares to the realistic part about the cops, helicopters, road blocks. The only thing that needs to be different is the way you car looks when you crash. The only thing that happens is you get cracked glass. We need a little bit more realistic in that part of the game. This game is very intertaining for everybody. If anybody thinks any other racing game is better than this game. I think you're all crazy. I this is the best racing game that has been made so far. Now if the people make a new NFS they need a little more realistic than this one. I gave this game an eight because as most of you know your car looks good when you hit a wall, tree, rock, or any other object at 185 mph you only get a cracked windshield. I highly recommend this game to anybody that like a fast racing game. This game is going to keep you playing it for a very long time. If you are a person who doesn't like it then you don't know what a real racing game is. So get out there and buy it now.

need for speed is the best racing game requied. i think all sports fans should have these game for Ps2. the game has awsome graphics and good racing style. the other great thing about this game is that the cops chase you until you get busted or you are really good of getting the cops off of you when your racing. also the game is not very easy to beat it takes days or even mounths or years. the realism is really good on Need for speed hot pursuit 2. the games sound also is really good. the cars in this game are sweet in this game because the cars look like real cars in the world today. even my whole family plays these game a lot even on the weekends. the other thing is that all of my friends also love to play this game with me. my friends and me always have races together to see who is the best racer. sometimes my dad and sisiter play with me and my friends. i think Ea games should keep on making Need for Speed games for play station 2. only one bad thing about this game is they should make this game for all playing systems. also a bad thing about this game is that it should have up to four players instead of two. in all of the rating info i would give this a game a big big 10. thats why i think this game should get a 10 in its rating.

Seriousoly, this game is so fast its amazing!it makes u wanna keep playing, i'm edicted to it.if the ratings could go any higher it would be there.it is the best game iv'e ever played.(Vice City is awsome but NFSHP2 kicks ass) none of the cars are exagerated,like the fastest car i the game and world is the MCLAREN FI, if can go240+. thats in real life to. that i what keeps me playing. i just got done playing now and i unlocked 2 new cars.YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The game, Need For Speed Hot Pursuit 2, has great graphics, awesome cars, and killer songs to go along with it. Even though the backgrounds are not exactly the "best," they are still an improvement compared to the original Need For Speed Hot Pursuit game. I like the setup of the game; expecially being able to drive a cop car, yet not be a cop. "Grand Turismo 3 is not even comparable to this game, although I liked the game, it isn't anything like Hot Pursuit 2." I liked the "Ultimate Racer" mode because it has a lot of different features such as "Tournament Racing" and a feature that lets the cops chase after you, having helicopters bomb you, swirving and swirling around spike strips and road blocks; I have one thing to say to you..."it's all good!"
I also liked the fact that you can..."turn the tables" and become the cop and chase racing vehicles; being the cop also gives you advantage of features no other mode lets you have including having helicopters bomb the place, setting spike strips and road blocks, and having rocket boosters on your car that make you catch up with anyone in about half a second so you can get MAJOR REVENGE and MAJOR AIR...It IS trully," ALL GOOD!"

Need For Speed 2...This is the Ultimate car racing that I've ever played. It is the most current edition to need for Speed. The game has more refined graphics, cars and themes. Choose your driver, as you race down californian streets. Dodge and evade the cops in order to be the best on the street. Kick other people's ass as you compete for the ultimate race cars. Lamborghini, Porsche, Mercedes, McLaren and more..The game Need For Speed 2, I would reccomend to anyone who loves to race, for real or in a game. This game has it all and it will send your adrenaline on thrill ride, it's never been before

This game was not all bad. The graphics are great, the music is good, But it is not in any comparison from the game before it
NFS High Stakes. NFS Hot Pursuit 2 has no weather effects, to real damage effects except for looks, to two player games (split screen), No customizing the engine or gears, No in game custom music like NFS High Stakes. This game has a lot to work on if Electronic Arts thinks that people forgot Need For Speed High Stakes then guess again. This game deserves 3 Stars for Graphics only.

It's one of the best racing games out there. The car graphics are somewhat like the real thing, but the scenery could use a bit more work. there were some glitches, for ex. driving on a paved road and hitting a bush. the cops could be more aggressive, and the music trax just sucked (no matter what game it is) but, this game does have some real sweet cars, could've added the Saleen S7 and some other supercars though. This game is worth buying.

HP2 VS GT3 I say HP2 wins because of it's wonderful gameplay soundtracks tracks and cars.. it's true that GT3 has more realism than HP2 by the driving but overall HP2 crush the boring style of GT3.. I like the police chasing,road blocks,helicopter and the bombs, and i also liked the tracks in the game with their wonderful shortcuts and long jumpps.. The graphics are awsome,, IT IS THE BEST RACING GAME (not rally) EVER

after finishing the whole damn game (in just 4 hours), i felt like i have just wasted my time on nothing but a very-easy racing game. the game comes with soundtracks like hell (really good), graphics are incridibly done and can challenge GT3's. but in the end, it's just a game for (easily-amused) people. Nothing is real in this game except the names of the cars and how they look, you can drive your Mclarean F1 LM Edition along the most difficult track without Having to use hand brakes. Don't waste your time and money on it. do so if u have some spare money from Christmas or whatever.in the end, EA NEEDs to be more realistic in order to just approach GT3's level of racing games.

People compare NFS2 with GT3 those people are crazy. I know I am only 11 years old, but at least I don't compare my NFS2 game with a GT3 game. I got the game for Christmas and played it that morning. I was really and truly amazed. The graphics are great, everything is great. When I finally unlocked the NFS edition of the McClaren f1 I dominated.

the game is amazing, and i dont think there is one person who does not love it. i got only a couple of bad points, one is that we can not turn on headlights of a car, second i would love the car to get more crashed like NFS 4 . but overall its an amazing game and i advice everyone to get it and play it in multiplayer mode.! wish 4 the best.

Hey Chrat a clean race means you cant crash. You cant touch the wall or other cars. But going off road, hard landings after jumps, and hitting signs is ok. Any way I have to say that it is a great game. When I use it on a HDTV i forget that it isnt TV. The graphics are realistic. The engines sound the same for all the cars, to bad, you forget about it when you get stuck into the game, it has an ok sound track, there are more songs but u you have to turn them on in the options menu. This game is just mad fun. And the multiplayer, dont even ask you NEED to play this game with a friend!

This game is absolutly insane! The graphics are unbeleiveable. The car selection is probably better than any race - type game I've ever played. And running frome the cops at over 200+ mph, how can you beat that? I recomend not trying the McLaren F1 LM NFS edition your first time because that car goes so freaking fast you'll probably crap your pants trying to take a 45 degree turn at 240 mph.You can also be the cops and catch people yourself if you want..... I give this game 20 stars because it is awesome. I just wish there were more cheats to unlock the rest of the cars.
