This game is a pretty good game. Although it only allows 2 players, cutting short on the Multiplayer fun, that other features that is has make up for it. if you have ever played FIFA 2002, it's much like that. However, running along the Midway lines, you can change the ref's penalty calling, making the game full contact. They've incorporated a wide variety of tackles to. They have your normal slide tackle, a body check (more like a flip in the game), an stomp/steal tackle. Then they have your more powerful tackles, such as the Head butt, the karate kick, and the super slide tackle. They have also added an wider variety of power kicks (lick the bicycle kick, but more elaborate) which have the ability to knock down players and throw the goalie back into the net. All these new great things make is game a definite to add to your soccer videogame collection. If you buy this game expecting it to be much like Blitz, you're going to be disappointed. Blitz is to Madden AS Red Card is to FIFA.
