Real cool game |
| Steve from Germany says (7/Jul/2003): |
This game was bloody, it had arrows, axes, and swords. There's not much more that you could ask for in a game like this. I really liked this game because it was not impossible to beat but it wasn't easy. I did beat it and i think it is a really great game.

The best game on the PS-2 |
| Ruslan Shandorovich Batko from USA .Redding, CA says (7/Nov/2002): |
I've beat the game five times. Everytime i started a new game I felt like it was the first time. It is hard to beat the game the first time, to complete all the challenges and to unlock all the items you have to play it a few times to totally enjoy it. Combos are amaizing, costumes are totally cool, some are funny. The game is totally eversome. I loved all the different themes of the levels. It is totally a highlight for the PS-2.

A good game that will keep you playing for hours |
| A gamer from Ontario, California, U.S.A says (24/Sep/2002): |
I first played the game on a demo disk I received and I thought it was fun. I bought the game later and really thought it was worth it. There are so many different combos that will take you a long time to figure out them all. The game was so fun that I ended up playing it for three hours straight and barely beat the second level. Being able to cut heads off, stab the guys through their chest, sneak up behind them and break their neck, and having a loyal bird to help you along your journey really got my attention. The game amazed me of how many ways you can kill the enemies by sneaking up on them. The bird that you carry can fly ahead of you and help you see what dangers await you. Once you get the hang of the game you'll have fun 'till the end.

Kri has left its mark on the gaming world |
| Steven Green from Indianapolis, USA says (22/Sep/2002): |
When I played The Mark of Kri I really wasn't expecting too much. Little did I know that I would be completely amazed by the sheer ingenuity of this game. Superb voice acting, a really unique combat system, and multiple extra challenges for each level keep it intresting so that you can replay it several times afterwards. Dont let the goofy graphics fool you though, this game is hardcore. You'll often find yourself snapping people's necks, nailing them to walls, or sneaking up behind them and popping their heads off. The idea of using a bird to recon ahead of you was brilliant also. The only flaw I see with this game though is some slightly choppy graphics and some bad camera angles. Overall though, this game is worthwhile. Just don't but it for your little brother.

Tarzan goes apesh** |
| Matthew Sever from Portland OR USA says (18/Sep/2002): |
I saw this game at a store and it looked intersesting. This was probly just after it came out, about a week ago I rented the game man I couldn't belive the game it was the best game I have played in a long time. The first time I played i had the surround sound and the neck snapping was so loud this was so awsome! I enjoyed the disney like animation, the best part evan though it was long was the load screens i loved the way it would go from the color stills to the game itself. The axe was by far the weapon in the game the range and destuctive capiblites were emense. cutting the bodies in half and legs removed soooo cool!! This game is awsome and takes a lot of skill to beat the game. I hope and look forward to more in the series.

Conan meets Jet-Li meets Lara Croft!!! |
| Gustavo Pabon from Selden, New York says (12/Sep/2002): |
If you like an inteligent story with beautiful graphics and a straight forward super user-friendly combat system, this is the game. I was attracted to Kri because of the Dysney look of the game. At first glance it looks like a kids game but upon further investigation I experienced the best adult game around! Difficult, yes. Harder apponents cheat makes the game better. Arena combat makes game increadible! If anyone has cheat to unlock entire game, let me know, there are some movies and artwork I still need to see!!!

Totally Awsome!! |
| Alec from Omak, WA USA says (5/Sep/2002): |
I just saw the game by accident. Looked at the back and it seemed just like any game. Well that changed as soon as i played it. I was astounded by the amount of realism when you cut a guys head off or snapm his neck. I am still enjoying the stealth kills. I just hope they start making more games like this.

great game |
| A gamer from USA says (2/Sep/2002): |
This is a great game. i like the combat system the most. battle a whole bunch of guys at once, except for a few things... on the third level i got stuck in some rocks and had to restart the level. (it really sucked) right now im on the fourth level. but i didnt get that Taiaha weapon, i killed the guy that had it, but it didnt come up in my inventory, so im still stuck with the sword, but it is quite a good game

max pane meets the jungle book |
| jay from goodyear az. says (31/Aug/2002): |
Don't get caught looking at the great graphix while some one shoots an arrow into your chest!! When have you had the chance to fight like a real warrior, 2, 3, 4 men at once block and pare at will the battle will last as long as you do. Planning is everything and choose your route carefully!

GREAT |
| A gamer says (27/Aug/2002): |
This game looked amazing and played even better. The one feature that made this game get a 9 instead of a 10 is its extremely small amount of gameplay, I rented this game and beat it within the first 5 hours of gameplay. Undoubtedly there is still great replay value involved, BUT how many times can you honestly play the same 4-5 hours? All in all, this is probably the best rental of all time, BUT not a very good own at all!

If a Disney Character went and killed people you couldnt make a better game out of it |
| Jonathan from USA says (21/Aug/2002): |
When I first picked up the Mark of Kri video game I was a littel confussed at the M rating stamped on the front, but when I stuck it in the console I quickly figured out what it was for. Let me tell you this is most likley this one of the summers best ps2 game out there, not manily becuase of graphicswich are pretty good in there own wierd Disney drawn kind of way. No the reason it is the best is becase of gameplay. The system the invented for all out mellee action is jsut wonderfull being able to battle up to nine enemies at once. With a stealth system built into the game that rivels MGS2. I mean what could be more fun then sneaking around the corner grabbing a guy and snapping his neck, not much. The sound is great from the horn guards summoining reinforcements, to the sound of steel on steel in combant. This game is truly ingenious and I cant wait for a sequel.

The Mark of Kri hits the Mark. |
| James from Dearborn, MI says (5/Aug/2002): |
To say that this game is one of the greatest action adventure games of all time would be one the the greatest Understatements of all time. This game starts out looking like a disney cartoon, but soon the mood changes as you (Rau) learn how to kill multiple enimies with a very easy to use targeting system. Soon your learning other stealhy skills like how to sneak up on someone and kill them by snapping thier neck, how to crawl aginst a wall and take out enimies around the corner. How to even kill two enimes at the same time always decapitating the second person. The fun doesn't stop there either. Thanks to your spirit guide in the form of a bird you can send it in front of you to "scout" the upcomming area. This gives you the opportunity to plan your attack.
The graphics of this game are astonding. As each cut scene takes place you watch as a artists sketch forms to show some diffent scenes, then as you are about to begin your mission the sketch forms into a sort of water color picture and then seamlessly turns into the actual graphics of the game, which are very much like watching a live cartoon. Even the caraters look very Disney. To only part of the graphics that do NOT look Disney like is the realistic blood that is split when you kill a enemy.
The sound is also of A+ quality. The music very much sets the mood for each cut scene and and each mission. The music will also give you a hint that the enemy has seen you in the form of a horn blast and drum beats. Once the drums subise you know your safe. The voice overs are also very well done. Each charaters voice is complimented by their animated image.
The story is very ingrossing and there are even some ( few) puzzles to be solves like finding switches to open gates and doors.
I highly reccomend this game to anyone who likes action adventure games in the style of Zelda and the like. However this is NOT i repeat NOT a game for kids. It is very violent and gory at times. I give this game a 10+

What a cool game |
| Joshua from Brentwood, Tn USA says (1/Aug/2002): |
This game rocks, Its a little wierd with the cartoon like graphics but it is very satisfying to sneek up behind someone and slit their throat. I think the load screens are awesome, and the way the story is told it pulls you right in. This game is a must for anyone who likes action games, but kids should stay away, its violent.
|
This game is one of the most original works out there |
| A gamer from Kentucky,USA says (1/Aug/2002): |
The Mark of Kri will leave anyone with over a five minute attention span longing for more. On the graphical side, one sees a Diseny movie unfolding before them, but your first bare-handed strangulation or decapitation will quickly change your mind. The targeting system leaves nothing to be desired and the action is nonstop. If done right, one should see Rau as a tribal Jedi dancing around the screen and dealing death to all that stand in his way. On the control side there is a bit to be desired, it tends to feel a bit clunky at times. The sound track is also quite enjoyable and will warn you if enemys are close. Also, the bird Kuzo gives one a certian level of strategy not often found in action/adventure games. All in all, The Mark of Kri is a game that anyone who considers themselves a hardcore gamer should own.
