Aw inspiring13334

Aaron from Morganton NC, USA says (23/Dec/2002):
Hey, madhatter, first off you are truly and I do mean from the bottom of my heart with sincerirty an idiot. I mean really what'd you do see the title on a release list and decide to write a review? Do us all a big favor and at the very least look at the back of the box next time. I have played (and beat the crap out of) all but two of the Ac games. The only ones I have not played are Ac2A.A and M.O.A. As for your overweight complaint. You can do it still. You'll be slow as molasses on a winter day (probably like you are irl both physically and mentally). And it encourages ingenuity. I have six different Acs (I used two files) and all of them are distinctly different. And I still have more ideas for Cores.... (I just don't have the memory card space to put them all in) The Arena was easy yes. Until you fight Ace, and Exile. BB the first go around with him he was a wimp. The "Ilink" feature your talking about is the ability to use different Ps2s and copies of Ac3 games to play without splitting up the screens so get your periphals (which incase you do not know what that word means here is a definition) aka add ons straight. The missions sadly are easy until you go through with the intensify part on. Then the AI seems to gain 20 more points on the Iq chart (which is 20,000 more than we can say for Hatter) which I thought was, odd to say the least. Go fight Thunder House without INTENSIFY equiped and fight him after you put it on and you'll see what I mean. And before anyone says for the Arena I just back into a corner with a heavy Ac no, I do not. I use an Ac I call Lucky VII which is a fast human leg type armed with a 500 round machine gun on its right arm a flame thrower on the left arm with the med missile on the back with the four missile extension part. My other fav Ac is Spectre which is even faster than that... (has a movement rate of 630) and is using the 100 round machine gun with my favorite laser blade the moonlight. The only time I use the heavy Acs are on missions like the Destroy massive Mt mission or "Investigate Water Swells" because for those missions unfortunatly you need the massive firepower. The weapons have not changed much but the other little extras make it so that old weapon formulas do not matter. (like the External orbit weapons on the Cores) The game runs much more smoothly than Ac2 which was a vast improvement on its predessors (the ones that came before it for those of you with the brain power equal to madhatter's) The machine gun arms are just as cheap as they used to be though... (which is how I opened up on Ace and beat him) Exile though, man that was one heck of a fight. There unfortunatly I had to use my heavy Core and back myself up against a wall and use grenades... Thanks to that stealth extension he uses so well. I like the option for choosing your firing rate on some of the arms great bonus. Anyway I still need to find the Kawasawa rifle, the legs Exile uses and the stealth extension. The INTENSIFY part rules though, because personally I do not like the idea of dying ten times with -50,000 credits its not in my nature to lose on purpose... Anyways a great game, that I'd buy (and did buy) way before I bought FF10 (which because of that stupid orb system made it the worst FF ever). I enjoyed the game and anyone who has not played it yet and is reading this go out and buy it now! If you don't have a PS2 go out buy one and buy this game. It definatly rests among the best aw inspiring Ps2 games ever.

awesome game9778

Zecks from manteca, california says (23/Sep/2002):
I like how the shells fly out of the machine guns now and the bullet sounds are more realistic. also i think it is awesome that the 4 legged ACs actually walk now. it makes more sense than how it was before. personaly i am gald they took the over weight limit out because i was getting sick of people using over weight mechs that were super cheap. at least now we can keep the strategy of the game. The music is really awesome its unlike i have ever heard its like symphony with a techno beat. which reminds me i have to get some mp3s of ac3. also the opening sequence is lovely. the map design is very orriginal with the exceptional texturing they look pretty realistic. (im a 3d modeler my self)and once again i think mad hatter is hella dumb and stupid and he deserves to die because you dont need 4 playstations to do a 4 player battle. you need 2 with the link cable thats all. how the hell did you get 4 you idiot. and i like the way they give you more parts near the end of the game it helps to get you to keep playing the game and develope your ACs more to fight your friends with. i happen to like the 4 player death match i find that orriginal i like the new jungle map to that looks great also. another thing i like is the fact that everything is faster. the frame rate is much quicker than ac2. so that means those big heavy bulky legs are no longer tidious. which makes them fun to use now. and the mech designs are not very similar to ac2. once again mad hatter is an idiot. there was also a new feature i was surprised with. the fact that you can have a gun in both arms. i thought that was really cool. on my Tekaman Unlimited mecha i has a grenade launcher in 1 hand and a flame thrower in the other. i think its awesome. im happy that ac3 now asks you for replays rather than just making you watch them. i hated ac2 for that sometimes. i like the new drop parts feature. that definitly comes in handy when you run out of ammo with something. ac3 is aweomse proably one of the best ps2 games so far. now they just need to make the mechs hold the heavy weapons with 2 hands. i think that would look super cool. reminds me of armor trooper votom.

but... but... but... BOOM!13608

qwee from Nowheresvilleton(OK), USA says (26/Dec/2002):
First things first. madhater, obviously, you didn't like the game. that, or you wanted to piss people off. either way... it's simple. you suck. now that that's out of the way... so they didn't bring it online. big f*ck!ng deal. game still kicks ass. second: i love, i mean LOVE the cover core for this game. and the parts are not bad at all. my only problem with the game, that has lasted from the beginning, is the lack of the 'uber-assualt' (actually, i prefer the term of 'limit exceed', or something like that) basically, all weapons go off at once. fancy shmancy kills. course, there'd have to be a huge drawback. but meantime... back to business. the EO was a nice touch, having never really used overboost, i immediately adopted this. the ability to have two blades, or two guns was nice too. the blades were what i stuck with. and the more specialized painting... the game, overall, was more user friendly. apparently, madhater LIKES getting his ass kicked in by giant robots... *speshul massage*-- this game is exactly what i've come to expect from the AC series. yes, it's more of the same, but it's kept us all comming back, hasn't it? from the original, to this one. and i'll be back for the next one. and i can't wait for them to create an 'actual' AC game. imagine, sending mail to other AC pilots... being the top ranked pilot in your area... going on coordinated missions with other pilots... *drools-- swims to shore* back to business. the graphics were beautiful. the music was genius. reminds me of the old days, with a new beauty of a Megaman game. How can the levels suck? proper paint job, a stealth pack... (haven't beat it yet, assuming there's still one there) (just got it yesterday, maybe halfway through)the default buttons are the same, which is fine by me. no serious learning to do. if the 'fun factor' exists, it's somewhere around life support for the lazy person w/o health problems. like i said, more of the same. a little easier though. i've not died but a few times, as opposed to five by the seventh mission. the ending game/gameover sequence has a nice touch to it. hell. the game IS a nice touch.

This Game is awsome, i only hope they get better12005

Damion(pilot name) from Brimingham Alabama says (29/Nov/2002):
This game is liek everyone has said, it is the best so far. i can only imagine and hope that they egt better. being an excellent pilot in my opinion, ti was hard for me to beat the A class people because i had to stay in-flight for long periods of time... Oh and how do u people say that the arena was easy (the one guy) that said he beat the top 10 guys in the arena in 1 try apiece. now, i do agree with the opinion that some wepons that are like 1000 pounds+ should be helt with two hands instead of one and if u hold it with 2 hands (wich you could have to option of) you could move considerably faster with it in that mode. now i havent personally use the drop wepon technique because i didnt know i even had it until i beat the game, or got to last 5 guys or so in arena. I was also wanting some input on how u guys might have beat the top 5 guys sinse they are all harder. i was going to try out some of the techniques u guys sent in and see if they improved my fighting. But sinse i am a huge AC fan, i wil go ahead and say GREAT JOB!!, this game has the graphics, sounds, controlling ability, (the R1 and R2 for up and down isnt that bad u just have to get used to it), the body designs are awsome now that its on the PS2. i agree with all of the people who says we need MORE LEVELS and HARDER MISSIONS!. i would love the online capabilities if it had it, and yes, i would love to co-op with a friend or 3 on the next one if it isnt online. they should also have it where u can decide on what mission u want to have ur co-op with. and even a co-op arena would be nice mabey a 2v2 or as many as a 4v4. my core is awsome i think, it has gotten me out of many situations. like it has the round tank legs, 1 granade cannon and a laser cannon on back, the 1000 bullet machine gun, and howitser. i have the core (most expensive when you start out)and i think it's them arms that are the lightest btu "Best recoil", if you guys would send me your core desings I would love to check em out. well guys i congradulate you on the AC3 it is awsomessss. E-Mail = SilentWolf53< remove me > at CS.com (Send me core designs i luve to try em OUT!!)

Best Platform MECh game ever!25960

Jason from Hemet California usa says (22/Jun/2003):
This is a excellent game overall and the best Armored core of the series. The sound has improved dramatically and the graphics have taken a small leap foward but are slightly above average overall compared to other games. Althouge It could of ben longer but the Difficulty ballances Things out. The customization of youre mech is the most fun part sice you can make any disighn you could possibly imagine. All of the parts of the previouse game have ben ridisighned to a certain extent. The arena and Missions present a challange for newbies but veteran AC players won't have trouble until 3/4 of the way threw the game and infact, some of the missions and arena stages are boring but only to veteran players. The sound track Doesn't fit the game and is annoying to listen to. The new Exceed Orbit core weapons are a great addition to the series alonge with the wingman feture;and they actually are a help to you rather than a nusance. The weapon drop feture isn't all that useful because you won't stop to think about dropping a empty gun in the middle of a fight. The Framerate is almost locked at 60 fps except in certain situations. Unfortunatley you can't upload youre' game data from AC2:AA. The multiplayer is ablolutley great. It's THE place to beat youre friends into the ground or toast the computer pilots. The controls Have not changed from AC2 so vets will start busting heads with ease. The controls are more resposive as well and their are many small rovements over past games such as the shop can be acessed from the garage and parts sold from the assembly menu. Their are a few bugs with the enamy Armored Cores A.I. since they will boost into walls when you're directly on the other side.the funest parts are the "special" missions and the arena matches are generally very enjoyable and will keep you on youre toes. This game is excellent overall and is a MUST BUY for any mech fan, its just way to good to rent and even if you do rent it you won't get very far and when youre done at night youle still be thinking of different combinations to make youre AC better.

Robot Destruction At It's Finest10023

E-Down from San Diego, CA says (4/Oct/2002):
I was very pleased with how From Software has progressed the Armored Core series thus far, as I also own all the games the series, even the PS-One versions. The opening cinema is excellent and the graphics are super sharp. The way the light and visual effects bounce off the core are astounding. The sound effects are top-notch, and the way they revamped the weapons really adds a nice touch. I like the fact that you have to replay certain missions to unlock new abilities and parts, as opposed to losing a thousand times as in previous AC titles. The dropping of parts and the Exceed Orbit additions are cool as hell, and the option of hiring consorts is neat. Kudos to From Software to making overweight cores act, well...overweight. However, I just wish you could (in tradition of all AC games) upload data from the previous titles, and change the buttons around a bit more. It would have been nice to, for example, use the R3 button to look up AND down. I always hated aerial combat in Armored Core for this. Other than that, it's an excellent game and the multiplayer battles really show off how good you are at piloting an AC against human idiots or the underhanded-ass computer AI. If I could have just ONE wish, I wish that From Software would implement multiplayer missions into the ACTUAL game, not on the side, i.e., Another Age, and that way you could hire human players or COM players with your own AC designs to accompany you on missions! That way you could use your own creations on a mission with you or through another player! It's always nice to dream....C'mon Agetec!!

Real Armored Core 3 Review9745

madhater from Miami, Florida says (22/Sep/2002):
This is the worse Armored Core game in the series. The reason why is the fact not one thing was changed since ac2. Some parts were added but they all function the same as ac2 parts and look different. They should stop changing things that dont need to be fixed!! I'm mad as hell because I could've just kept playing ac2 and have just as much fun. The game is very short and easy. They took alot out of the ac3, like the overweight ability so you no what that means?? They said you have over 200 parts or more, and thats a whole lot of parts you cant mix and match because they weight too damn much for most of the legs. You're limited to what ac's you can make!! The music is the worse. Sounds like some kid made it with a tinker toy keyboard! The levels have horrible designs, made worse by the crappy music in the background. This is the worse game I've played in awhile. I'm real pissed. I'd rather play a starbuck's game, I'd rather have a prostate exam before I buy any more Armored Core releases. I almost forgot, I really mad because at the From Software site, they said AC3 was going to be iLink compatible. BULLS< remove me > at $#!!! You cant play it on the net..you can only link 4 playstations using 4 copies of AC3 with 4 *$*< remove me > at televisions and play. Who the hell has time for that??? And they way they started giving you parts after completing the game?!?!?! Why the hell would they do that!!!! You already beat the game, YOU CANT PLAY ON THE NET so why the HELL would you have that feature in any godamn game??? Worse game i've played in a long time....

A small step for man, a smaller step for a Core.11176

A gamer says (11/Nov/2002):
Being a huge AC fan from back in the PP and MoA day, I got passed by on AC2 and jumped straight into this. The controls are excellent, and the core handles much better than the PS1 days. A few complaints I've come across, however... A: too few and too easy levels. We complained about the 'Protect the Airplane' or 'Protect the Transport' on PP when the vehicles died in two hits and we were completely surrounded, like, three missions into the game. That was all replaced with heavily armored vehicles that I found myself shooting at sometimes just to see if they'd die (they do, imagine that). While I appreciate the ability to take a consort into missions now, most of the AI for your partners seem to be overcome easily by things like walls, elevated floors, or anything else they can't walk over. This carries me into my next problem B: AI. AC:MoA, the computer had the amazing ability to stay in the air, dodging missiles and grenades, all the while it was pumping KARASAWA and energy grenades down on top of us. Now, the computer gets stuck behind a pillar and cries itself to sleep. Between the dumb AI and the lack of levels, I've managed to complete the arena, the ex-arena, the actual missions, my parts list, and load up my INTENSIFY in under two days. If it wasn't for the multiplayer feature (and yeah, the four-way games rock in ways words and guns can't describe), I'd have already tossed this game aside and gone back to my good old FM3.

Armored Core 3 is awsome,this game rocks,what else can i say?Oh,and Mad Hatter,dont be an A$$11176

Damien from Tx ,Usa says (15/Nov/2002):
Ok,this game totally rocked! I mean, theres only afew things wrong with it, and those things arent really bad. There are alot of things to do. Theres the arena mode (my personal fav)is great! The missions are really cool. The graphics are perfect. The sound is perfect. What else can you ask for, well, you didnt have to ask, they already added a bunch of cool stuff. Like the way you can drop weapons when they are out of ammo, and when you do, you move even faster! One of my favorite things is how they changed they made the pack weapon that makes you invisible from enemy radar had been changed to an extension! They also have new hover extensions, extensions were you can turn quicker and a whole bunch of new weapons. Its cool how they redid all the weapons, that is so cool! (137) They have it were you can higher consorts now, which really helps if you cant do a mission. The extra arena rocks (ive always wonder what it would be like to tag team someone with a big meche lol). The only real gripe i have is the length of the game, it could have had more missions,i mean, with the engine of the PS2, they could have had alot more stuff. And to follow the tridition of every review that has followed Mad Hatters review, YOUR A DUMBA$$ YOU STUPID beppppppp. Im sorry, but we cannot let you here the rest of what Damien has to say about Mad Hatter. Please have a nice day and stay in school mad hatter, you need it, REALLY! lol

the best yet25435

freak show says (15/Jun/2003):
armored core three is the best yet. i really thought the walking four leg acs were ingenious compared to the sliding ones of the past. the graphics were very well improved over games in the past. the sound efects were greatly improved. the only thing i did not like is the game in my opinion could be longer. a few more missions perhaps. the four player mode is great. the all new drop feature is ok but i did not find it very useful. i never found myself in a situation in wich i needed to or whanted to drop a weapon. the arena was a lot of fun, but once you get to the top people should challenge you. and other piolits should fight each other and mix up the board a little. the extra arena was pretty cool. i thought that you should chouse a piolit to go with you and stay with in the hole extra arena thingy. and there should be no team leader, it should be wich ever team is left standing with the other team totaly destroyed wins. that would mix it up a little. the wide aray of weapons was great. i also liked the wide selection of all the other parts. i liked the simplicity of the garage. even some one who had never heard of the game could figure it out. i liked the how you could make an ac for any job. from the most complicated desinges to the most simple. i have built acs that fit under both and do great in any situation. over all i loved it. e mail me if you wish.

The game rocks, no matter what "reviewers" say.14686

A gamer from New York, USA says (3/Jan/2003):
As you all know Madhatter here has dissed this game big time..wich we all know is a load of crap. This game is the best yet, I agree on one thing Madhatter, they should have net play. Other than the "net play" issue the game kicks ass. The vast amount of weapons and guns, legs, extensions, and all the parts you can unlock by playing good. Now there are knew parts and plenty of them. Ok now I agree they could have more cores but really if your smart, that isnt a drawback at all. Now personally I think the missions are a tad bit easy but its good how it can get hard later. Heres a hint for people who cant do missions well.. win at the arena! Its very easy to get loads of cash I mean i moved to section D right away when I first played and had lots of money for weapons, and arms, ect. This is for all you people who give bad reviews (note: this is for some) Just becuase you suck at the game doesnt mean its bad, it means you suck and you shouldnt bother. From what I see this game rocks and theres only one drawback as I listed earlier. But theres something else im gonna list that I enjoyed greatly.. Valkyrie! The 3rd ranked AC from the first Armored Core, But Ace, of course is around as well. So for all of you people who can actually play and understand the controlls and possible stratagies, play on untill you make the ultimate AC!!

ME WIKE CORE36863

Michael Martin from Kent Connecticut USA says (11/Dec/2003):
Me and armored core go WWWAAAYYY back I have played all the armored core games own all of them and get a funny felling, could be the pretty lighting or that subliminal messaging (Kinda makes u fell like ur part of it) but hell I would give my will to this game! VERY GOOD and right now it's (12-11-03) and i'm absolootly POSITIVE I have ac3:Silent Line.

GOD I CAN'T WAIT!!!

pros

intro
weapons
graphics
gameplay
arena
multi-player
EO :)
Subliminal Messaging (makes you fell like your there)
too much junk to list

Cons ok before I do cons any1 with armored core 1 for ps1 listen too me (And peeps without it) in ac1 for ps1 there was no OB, EO, radiators, hover legs. Also the graphics were good for it's time, the 4 legs didn't walk u slid, u couldn't drop parts, pick up parts. ac1 was short. You think thats bad well it's no big F******KING deal that was THE BEST game ever made by my standards. To see AC# in all it's medal bashing glory it's amazing. now ac3 has a place in my um uhh ok little too far. One more thing none of the ac ever had online not even silent line does but I have HEARD that there is going to be a new ac with online.

ok for CONs

AI is a little on the bad side.

THATS ITTT for cons

It was completely awesome is all I can say.14998

MechGamer from Norfolk, Virginia says (7/Jan/2003):
Armored Core 3 was way better than the first ones espically arena combat I mean that just kicked major tail. The AC drop part option is a great option because cycling through empty weapons can waste needed precious time in a hard mission. They re-did the graphics with a new engine which made it better and the opening scene well that was just a tidbit of how well this game kicks butt. The new parts looked better than the old ones and seeing Valkeryie and Ace again was like a flashback if you played the old ones. Only problem I really saw was the missles slowing down and the fact that they shouldnt have dropped the Samurai Sword Arm Weapons from Armored Core 2. This game is for people who are looking for massive action and those who enjoy making awesome AC's. I use parrying blades and laser blades thats all I need to whomp my missions then again this game you need to pratice A LOT. For those who havent gotten good at it but own it I say just use versus mode to practice until you actually have a combat style for taking on missions. Get over heavy AC's they get dull use mid-weight and light if you need a challenge (keeping them within the weight limit of the legs of course)to keep the game interesting.

A game that I will still play when I am 70.15809

Kirill from Kansas City says (19/Jan/2003):
Armored Core needs several improvements. I feel that several important aspects of the game have bin ignored. It seems to me that the makers of armored core just want to stuff the game with AC parts thinking that that will make it all better. Well… yes and no. These are areas that need to be improved on.
1. Better missions. (larger more interesting areas of combat) ex: a huge transport ship in the sky
2. More diverse objectives. I noticed that missions since Armored Core 1 have juristically degraded in quality and variation. The missions nowadays include only one objective and that is to destroy. I am ok with that but there should also be missions like recover capsule or defend the flying fortress or several objectives in one mission.
3. More environment interaction ex: exploding buildings and chunks of ground able to be blown apart
2. Online capability
3. Opposing ACs not cheating during missions and running out of energy and ammo like there supposed to do. Not a major problem but gets irritating

Armored Core is a game that I will still be playing when I am 70. Hope they don’t ever stop making it otherwise I just might have to play the old ones.

Total Disappointment30612

Pete from London, England says (20/Aug/2003):
Unlike most of the reviewers here I haven't played all of the AC series, only the very first game. I loved AC1, from memory it had to be one of my more favored games but AC3 is a complete let down. Firstly the music doesn't suit the game at all, wierd chanting just doesn't go with huge mechs kitted out in heavy weapons. Secondly the level design is very poor, most of them look like they've come straight from AC1 and then made real small. But what I really dislike about AC3 is the fact you have to pay for ammunition? Ok fair enough but why so costly?? It's pathetic to play a mission, complete it and end up forking out over 15k for ammunition used, bringing your income for that mission to something like -10k. Basically you pay to take part in missions a lot of the time. Arena battles are just too easy.
But now the good points....what are the good points? I have no idea. I guess one good point would be the heavy mech action, but thats about it as graphics are mediocre (explosions utterly rubbish), sounds are ok and gameplay is dead boring after 5 minutes of playing. Right now I am going back to AC1 as I prefer it to this let down. 4 stars just because its Armored Core

the best one yet, definitely.... who is this madhatter guy? Bet he only has 3 teeth...10640

Githonel from Blueield, VA, US of A says (25/Oct/2002):
This was definitely the best AC yet... My favorite part of the game was always trying to create the best legal AC's to compete aginst my friend's cheap-as-butt AC's... the only gripe I have is that the Karasawa gun was really heavy... but then this was the first game where i've been able to find it, so i guess maybe it's always been that way? And anyway, madhatter is a fag, the missions rocked, and the visual appeal of the parts was really great... there was (and if it didn't stick out so much i wouldn't mention it) a lot of differences between the ways the different company's parts looked. i always liked that, it made the whole thing more believable. and I also like how you can unequip your plus abilities... so you don't have to always be a loser, you can only be a loser when you're really pissed at the game or your buddy over there... and i'm the only guy i know who actually bothers to look for plus abilities... then i use them on somebody and they don't know what happened... and the opening sequence was definitely the best yet. i love how they show off the new features of the game in the opening sequences. yeah... armored core rocks my face off.

AC3 IS TEH BEST IN TEH SERIES!!!!17965

Kadafi from Sandersville, Georgia, USA says (21/Feb/2003):
Ac3 can be described in one word: awsome. Sweet new parts (LINEAR CANNON OWNZ JOO!!!) but i also noticed a bit of a flaw...the game doesn't really have enough good energy weapons. all the good right arm weapons and shell based ('cept for the karasawa but the energy drain on it really hurts a light or mid-wieght ac's performance if ya like to run circles around enemies and blow 'em to shreds like i do ^_^ ). I also miss those back mounted pursuit missiles from AC2AA (i'm sure alot of you remember 'em...the sweetest toy a guy could ever have). Some of the missions weren't as good as the AC2AA missions....ya it was all kind of land based...you never got to do battle high up in the skies with an enemy AC or boost from transport to transport while tryin to shoot 'em down. Still, the improved graphics, music, the drop weapon/extension feature, the pleasure gained from beating down Ace and becoming the arena champ then conquering Ace and BB in extra arena makes up for it. All-in-all this game could've been better but its still the best in the series yet! Now i just can't wait for the expansion, AC3: Silent Line to come out >:) . "See you in the arena, Raven..."

Overal a fine game13220

Bob Robert from Michigan USA says (21/Dec/2002):
The sound effects are a big improvement over ac2. I love the walking quadrapedal legs it is much better than the old sliding ones. Graphics have improved slightly; gamplay seems more realistic.... Building a formidable AC is an interesting challenge. One of the best intro movies ever! THE Lamest ending movie of all time! Also in keeping with an apparent theme of these ac games, you will have a mission were u go in, the briefing is like," go investigate dangerous area" you enter the mission and giant bugs crawl out and shoot at you and explode when u shoot them! Then the radio comes on and they say," whats going on here? We will investigate!" but u hear no more of it! These games need a more in depth story line. A story line that can be altered by your actions and what missions you select would improve the game considerably. Also I am disappointed at the fact that u cannot fire large back mounted cannons while using bipeds, without having to stop. That limits you to missiles for the most part.... The AI players in the arena can use them though.... Anyway this game is a fine addition to the ac series and I look forward to the next installment.

The Ganme ROCK and Drops22224

A gamer from Minneapolis, USA says (26/Apr/2003):
Well, I have played the damn best game and I think its well. The game brings out the bombs and the huge guns, however, there is a slight disappointment. I can never see more arenas, and the arenas are a bit small. The Challenging part about the game is beating the hard opponents, all I did was jack my Cool Elminator to highest AP, and it doesn't take long. The AC is one hell killer if you ask me. I even had a coolest color to pick which is the green head. However, I wish there were more challenge. I have all the series, and my favorite thing is getting more kick out of upgrading and putting more weapons to become invincible. It would be tight if the AC had more parts to put on too, even on the damn core. I can't find a core that has the heat, but im still seaarching for that part. I bet they probably will come out with another series called Amored Core: Silent Lines which probably has more weapons you can add to make a Core that is unmatchable. The highest for me is six weapons. But Im constantly winning matches, and I love kicking weak opponents. By the way, why didn't they add More AC. I need more to challenge.

One of the best games around24382

Christopher M. from P.A. USA. says (30/May/2003):
When I first played Armored Core 1 I was hooked. Ever since that day I have purchased every Armored Core game. In my opnion AC3 is very good. The gameplay is a little difficult at some point. I like the new missions and the new wing man feature. I think that some wing men are no help what so ever. The reason why I like the missions is because there exciting they keep me on the edge of my seat. Aside from that the best part is the way you can drop your wepons. I think this is good because if you to go overweight you can eject them if you want. I think the arena rules. Some of the guys are really hard. The versus mode is very cool. I have only played the versus with two people.I also like how you can find hidden parts. I have found them all. Now lets visit the down side. They should make up some new weapons or something and they should also make the missions longer. They should make the versus mode arena could be a little bigger.Beside that everything seemes ok by me.In fact I gave this game a pretty good ratting. This my opnion on Armored Core 3.
