when i first saw the intro my first thought was "get the soundtrack". eriously, the game has awesome sound and graphics. So all it needed was nice gameply, i'm a FF fan and i expected it to be played like other FF games ie: u and ur opponent take turns to use different skills on each other, so i was surprised to find out that it was played like an action game and requires some quick button presing but afer an hour i adusted to the game's controls. and once that happens Kingdom Hearts does't let u go away from the screen unless u need to eat or sleep
On top of all that it has the characteristics of all FF games ie: good story, lots of secrets/sidequests, near 150 hours of gameplay. And it also includes lots of characters from FF7 FF8 FF10 and disney, lot's of disney.
To make the long story short kingdom hearts is an awesome game that's a must for any rpf/action collection

Hey for all you people out there thinking Oh my god squaresoft with disney makeing a kids game, well you better re-think your thoughts. It is the best game i have ever played in my entire life! The game is soooo cool and the story line is one of the greatest i have ever seen. This game is a game that you can play over and over and over again. It is so fun to go through all the different worlds with my favorite disney characters. Learning new abilities that i ahve seen from previous square games was so cool to see them brought back. And i almost flipped when i got in traverse town and saw CID (FFIV) he is so cool. And when You progress further through the game you see more and more characters from final fantasy. And guys comeon how could it be a bad game when you get to wander around halloween town with jack skellington and beet people with a key (espechially oogie boogie)

the best!!! 1000,000,000 stars! i beat it in 3 1/2 days. about 70 some hrs. i got all charecters to level 100 and all blades exept the ultima weapon. i beat sepheroth about 12 times without the ultima weapon.ps for u who neded the kingdome hearts 2 realese date its d-d-d-donda donda! late 2004 or early 2005.
this one gets into mulan more than the first and it gets into THE LORD OF THE RINGS!!!! ill give u a few clues to the kingdome hearts 2 video game. theres a mysterious youngster that dedicates his life to sora. theres a new foe that looks like rikku with red down to neck hair. oh! did i mention that the mysterious kid that protects sora knows how to duel weild. that means he can fight with two key blades! one more thing... there making a new kingdome hearts game for the game boy advanced system! i read all this in a 100% OFFICAL magazine calld game informer.

At First, I saw the the preview of the game on t.v. and I have to say it looked crummy.With all the disney characters and stuff ,but once I saw that my friend had it I asked him if it was any good and he said that it as the best game he had,and he had about 50 games in his collection.So I rented it from a game store.I became adicted to the game.Most days I was so tied up with the game,that I forgot to do my homework.The game is so exciting it makes you wonder what will happen next.The game looks so real it scares you.It will keep you guessing what happens to the trio until the very end of the game.I have to admit that the game that the game that I thought was crummy was my best and greatest game I have.I would recoment this game to any teenager who likes both Disney and Square games.That is why I think this game rocks, or atleast that's what I think.

When I first started playing Kingdom Hearts, I have to admit that it was interesting. This is amazing because I don't even like Disney that much. However, I progressed throughout the game and got addicted to it, probably because the fact that all battles are fought in the same environment as exploring. Everything about this game is nearly perfect, from the battles, the storyline, character voices, variety of weapons and accesories, bosses, and everything else. Even when you die on the game, something about it makes you want to just get back out and get your revenge. I didn't even like RPG's all that much until I played Kingdom Hearts, and now that's mostly the types of games I buy. It is impossible to describe every great deatail of the game, but I guarantee you that if you buy and play this game, you will not be dissapointed. All I can do is wait for the sequel.

Overall Kindom Hearts is a good game. The story, graphics, sound and lifespan was shocking. I also enjoyed the crude humor in some of the scenes. The game play was a little redundant. They should have made the combos a little more difficult. Mashing on one button does not take much talent. If the button config was a little larger. Then battles would have been a little harder, thats because of your larger range of attacks and blocks. If Sora has more moves and blocks then your enemys would as well which would have made the game more interesting. I truly enjoyed this game I just hope they make some major changes in the second.
They could have made this game so much better then it is. Just a word of advice to the makers "Dont make a game aimed at a genaral age limit then make the difficulty below them" I hope you will correct these mistakes in the next one.

WOW! It's nothing like I thought it was. The first time I saw a review in a magazine I thought it was pretty cute. The next review was more in-depth on the topic and before I knew it I wanted soooo bad I stared to annoy people by talking about KH nonstop! The problem at that point was... I need a PS2! Thankfully at Christmas I got one along with (drum roll)........ Kingdom Hearts! Yey!! I was playing it constantly when the snow came and the power went out for...48 hours!! I had to wait two whole days the play the thing I wanted for 5 months! Well, As you can see by my reactions on the game it is a defendant buy! Don't let people think your wasting your money on this awesome game! 10 out of 10 for sure, but now that I think about it I'd rate it 9 1/2 stars cause no FF9 characters were in the game! Buy it now cause you don't know what you’re missing!!

Man when i first saw the commercials on tv i was hooked after getting my money from my uncle mike i went shopping i just got it on saturday and made to agrabah. the problem is i don't have a memory card to save teh game. but i will always like the opening of the game. i love the graphics i have noticed that sony when from black side to reflective and this brings out the full potential of teh graphics, the music. all and all i suggest that you buy this game. normally i don't play rpg games but when i heard this was in real time where damage is dealt at anytime and waking moment. the beginning is the best especially teh clouds. but i think they took the clouds from nature. but the gameplay is awesome and if they make more kingdom hearts i will buy them until the end of my life time. or until i get arthurites.lol well i gtg. you should buy this game.

I am a top 100 fan of square, and when I just bought my ps2, my mother (yes my mother) bought it for me. i didn't knuw the game (and I am a so big square fan) when i saw the cover i was like jeej a game with donald and goofy, so i bought an other game becouse i didn't want to play that game. but after a mond or so i went to buy a game and in that shop i saw the box of kingdom hearts and on the cover was square. i jump on my bike want home, and started playing the game. I was stuned i was wane of the best games ever i played it for 8 hours long. it was just to good to stop, (it was square :p) but the most beautiful thing a the game was the intro and the ending the intro was like woooow a B-E-Uatifil movie and a stunning soundtrack these are my scores

This game has everything down. It has a great mix of the maturness and Disney that you loved when you were young. Being able to fight the horrid villians was a real treat. It is not a everyone has to do this to beat the game but insted it is like everyone plays a differnt game and gets different results. Though I was never a real big disney fan, I am near obsessed now. (I think the villians are so cool.) This game is worth sitting around for. The graphics were awsome during the theme song which was awsome. This game is creative, touching, and has a real meaning however nerdy it may sound. The gameplay was outstanding although you could not open chests and pull up the menu with the heartless around. The heartless. I think that insted of one kind of heartless but having near fifty five or like sixty five is truly ama-hey-hey-zing.

Kingdom Hearts is one of the best game, I've ever played. This game is so perfect, nothing is wrong with it. I can't even start why Kingdom Hearts is the best. And everything comes together, and leads to Kingdom Hearts II. The reason this game rocks is because of the graphics, gameplay, and fun factor. Since Squaresoft made tons of awsome games like Final Fantasy X, the graphics are the bomb. I even asked myself, "How can my PS2 create graphics like that?" The gameplay, fits well for newbies. Such as the magic, weapons, and potions. Plus, I think its super cool how you're able to visit classic worlds like Halloween Town, and Wonderland. Too bad they couldn't have more Disney worlds like, The Jungle Book, and Bambi. Still, Kingdom Hearts is one of those one-in-a-lifetime-chance, and its really something you should save up for.

This is the best game i have ever played.I mean it is just as good as final fantasy 7,8,9,10.In the begging it was kind of confusing because I was not sure how you were supposed to destroy the heartless on destiny islands.After I found out what to do it's smooth sailing from there until you get to Hollow Bastion.It is like impossible to beat unless you have really good magic high magic power and a lot of ethers.Another confusing world is "The End of the world".I got really lost because i did ot know that you were supposed to go into the big ray thingys and fight the heartless.One thing that helped me beat this game were my friends.The way they helped me was almost every time they were around and I was stuck on a boss or a world I always got through it.Anyways like i said before this was the est RPG game I have played

The graphics are great, the storyline is great, the battles are great and your best friend (riku) turns against you. What more could you want in a video game? I love it and play it every day! The worlds are the coolest ever! I still havn't beat it but am trying to get ultama weapons- and power!!! hahahhahahahaha!! But seriusly this game is the greatest! The keyblade is genius. Even having goofy and donald in your team is ok. The music is great, I have it stuck in my head all day!!!! I would love to talk about it with you because I never get boared of kingdom hearts! I am at the place where you have to fight the big winged devil dude that throws fireballs at you. (I think he is from fantasia) I also love that I practicly know all the disney charactors allready, and walking around with jack skellington is sooo cool!!!

This Game is awesome combonation of disney and squaresoft that i ever saw it's also the first so this was either a big let down or a big surprise they could at least put rinoa instead of yuffie so that people would have liked it more. but the easiest battle was the final 6 battles were easy and i must say that they could have done better on the lenth of the game and some more world since their were more disney movies and they could have put in at least more characters or make an Role Playing Game for it. and the specail secret was not very long at all and i was very dissapointed by that but i only took 1 point due to it being a merger so this my idea of the game and some few other things were they could have made it much better in sound and graphics Don't Email Me on how to beat the game one hint level(99)

Kingdom Hearts is the best game I have ever played. I mean, there is so much you have to do in this game it's breath-taking! There is several spells you have to learn, tons of worlds to go to and a lot of disney characters that you meet in each world. This is no doubt the best game that disney has created. I give it four thumbs way up!!!!! The graphics are great and it's easy to pick up on the story line even if you come in later in the game. Sound is amazing and the lifespan of the game is enormous. It is a game a defenatly recomend to the gamers who enjoy adventure, a good sense of humor, and excitement in the games that they play. This game is up there in the 40's for price range but if you are willing to pay that mauch for any game, spend it on this game. It will be worth the money that you pay.

This game Rocks!!!!Rank this game #1!When I played this game the first time (in my life!) I was AMAZED jaw down I screamed and screamed until I cannot scream no more!The graphics are great!no no it is AMAZING as if the Heartless (beings with no heart) almost got my heart.The sound OH MY GOD!! don't say this in front of me or I'll gonna faint!It's like i'm inside an orchestra but of course unlike some games (Not a Final Fantasy nor Kingdom Hearts and Squaresoft games!) the sound is so stupid!The story It is so GREAT!no GREATER THAN GREAT! as I progress through the worlds I explored every corner every inch and I found all the items and gummi blocks and keychains and weapons for Goofy and Donald.I haven't seen the commercials but I downloaded it from the internet.Buy or umm... JUST BUY IT!!!

Kingdom Hearts Rocks! I'm not even at the end and it's the bomb!The best part about the beggining is the song it's nice. But the beggining scared me when you have to fight that HUGE black heartless. What is squaresoft trying to do give me a heart attack?? But anyway ther's no other game like Kingdom Hearts. I like this game cause the graphics are awesome the characters are cool ( even the disney characters) and it's the mpst challenging game ever. My brother plays it and he's like a game master ( he can beat any game) he says it's the hardest thing he ever played!This game is worth the buy!Just can't beat the stupid sand monster zizza or somethin. My rating for this game is 10 because it's THE BEST ANIME GAME EVER!!!!!! BUY THIS GAME or forever be the boringest person in the universe!!!!!!!!!

Kingdom heatrs is about a boy named Sora and mainly his 2 other friends,Riku(HOT),and Kairi.He gets moved to another world called traverse town and somehow or another meets up w/ donald and goofy. they set out on an adventure together to find sora's friends and to help find king micky.Riku accidently sides w/ the power of darkness and pisses off Ansem and makes him come to his true form.sora battles his way to save riku and kairi(a princess of heart)and with a long lasting battle to fight for the power of light he isn't about to let go of his dream!!!!in this game u can sythesise items and make a keychain.Duh!!!the Ultima the best weapon ever to exist!!!!!exept is color i didnt like it after i had the Oblivian and the Metal Chocobo. but in the end i ended growing to level 100!!!!!!!yah!!!!

(travis town) when you are in the green room with leon and yuffie go and talk to leon and he will ask you are you ready when you talk to him for the second time. you must say yes,you go outside the room and will have to fight. leon will go out with you and tell you not to worry about the small frys the small frys are the small guys with the armor on.so dont bother with them. next go down to the L allyway across from the dalmations house keep walking till you get to the door. go inside and you will be in the third distrik with goofy and doanold you will first haVE TO FIGHT THE small guys then the big one from there you will move on to the next world GOOD LUCK!!!!!!
P.S.Reamember before you go to the next world to buy alot of potions for your trip good luck and bye and good luck !!!!!!!
