I have been a fan of FF for along time and when I heard that
square would be teaming up with Disney I thought, "there goes the neighborhood." But a true fan always stays true and I picked up Kingdom Hearts. WOW!!! This game is intense. The graphics are great, the realtime battle system is awsome for those who like a little skill with there traditional strategy, and on top of it all they even brought back Cloud! They only thing that got on my nerves was the gummi ships, there very confusing and once you get a warp block almost insignifigant. I don't recommend this to rpg newcommers because this is not the typical rpg platform, but to disney fans and rpg (or FF)players I think you are in for a treat!

ive always played ff and disney games and thaught they were all great i never
really thaught what would happen if they both teamed up and did a game at first when i heard of it i thaught it would be a plie of **** but when i played it the graphics were great the sound and music was great it was a load of fun to play and last of all the characters were brilliant i like how they brought back chars from the last 4 games any1 out there without this game u dont kno what ur missing go get it now its well worth the money and to all you people saying that the gummi ship part was rubbish its better than not having anything there at all

This game is the greatest! The graphics are excellent! You would think a Disney game would be for little kids but this is so great that anyone can play! Sure its hard if your at a low lever but once you get up there its great! The story line is awesome. If they make a KH2 then they should leave the graphics, voices, and general ideas the same. This is my all time favorite game.

When I first saw the advertisements for KH I just knew I had to have it. I have never been a fan of playstation but when I saw the game I was like whoa! Well I got the game and playstation for Christmas and it is better than I ever could have guessed. Graphics, sound and characters are off the hook!! Since this is my first PS experience I to did not know about FF, but I so want FF now. I am halfway thru the game and can't wait to finish it!! The only thing I don't understand is the gummis even though I have tried like mad to--also was Donald a help to anyone else? I notice everyone saying Goofy and aside from the mad hps he has--major jealous--he has been of tremendous help, but I find Donald lacking.

It was great I had alot of fun playing it. I had some trouble but who doesn't with advenure games like this?? I hope you like it and have as much fun as I did. I liked it because of the excitement and funny parts. The grapics are wonderful and the best I've ever seen. The sound and voices were so realistic. I love Kingdom Hearts!

The way that Squaresoft worked this game out is amazing.I have been a big fan of the Final Fantasy series for as long as I can remember and this is one of the best yet.The voices of Cloud ,Leon,Yuffie,etc.Were about perfect.The first reveiws and things I heard about it thought were pretty dang corny.The fact that Squaresoft and Disney were working together was pathetic.Then I heard from my cousin that he loved so I decided I'd give it a try.Right when I saw the first sequence I knew this was going to be one of the the best games I ever played.The graphics in the game are the best yet I've seen on PS2.What pissed me off is that they have only 2 FMVS in the entire game.The fact that you can fight Sephiroth in this game is amazing.(I found him a lot easier to beat in FF7).He still has that,I can kick your ass style on him.The voices of Squall(Leon) and Cloud were awsome.Though the reason that I give this game a 9 star rating is the lack of Final Fantasy worlds.Wouldn't have been awsome to travel in Balabm or Midgar.Plus the fact that they completly forgot about FF9.Zidane and Princess Garnett(Dagger)would have played an awsome role.Yet another flaw I find in the game is that you can not take any characters(except Donald and Goofy)to outher worlds.There are many flaws in thais game ,but I can't wait for the sequel!!!!!!!!

In a word: brilliant!
This has ot be the best game I have ever played, PERIOD! SquareSoft and Disney I. managed to pull off something wonderful! They even made a weapon out of something that one might think impossible: a KEY. Oh, and in my opinion, the Keyblade is MUCH cooler than the measley Gunblade!
Don't let the words 'childish', 'silly' or 'too lite-hearted' come to mind - this is an action-RPG with a darker side than the Moon! Play it, love it, and play it again, and love it again, and play it & love it s'more!!!!

i have been a fan of final fantasy since it was first on nintendo and when i heard about kindom hearts i waz like {wot the thuck} its got to be crap.but being a true ff fan i went out and got it and to my surprise it was relly good.it is now 1 of my all time best games the mix of ff and disney was well worked out.wakka and tidus looked like little kids mot as well designed as squall and the other ff players.but to the people who has not got this game and likes the sound of it dont listen to the people who slag it off go out and get it,

well, i can say KH is a perfect mixture of FF and Disney characters. KH is probably, and most likely, the evolution of RPG games. The graphic is 1st-class; the story line is exciting and touching (p.s. i like the saying "i'm not afraid of the darkness" & "i know now i don't need a weapon; my friends are my power"); the game play is challenging; ...um, what else? oh yeah, the secret movie is so cool, although the one in KHFM is even coolER. the gummy ship part may seems annoying and unnecessary at the beginning, but once you get into it, it's really fun. but the reason i give this great game a rating of 9, is because sometimes Donald and Goofy kinda get in the way, i admit they are good help though. anyways, KH is a great game that is worthy to check out.

Kingdom Hearts is the best RPG game that is out there. Seriously. The game has absoulutley no glitches, beautiful graphics and amazing sound. Not to mention the beautiful sondtrack. The characters voice are stunningly real. Especially Donald Duck. The end-of-the-day scenes on the Island are awesome. Kingdom Hearts mix of Final Fantasy characters is cool. Don't let the Disney label scare you away though. The plot is of two boys, Sora(The person you play) and Riku, there is also a girl named Kairi. All three dream of distant worlds. They want to go vistit on a boat. The first few Island levels require you to find things to get you familiar with the controls. At night a storm comes and Sora must save the boat. Riku is already on the island. Riku gets transported to some distant world. Kairi is in the secret area. Kairi goes away to. So you start your jorney by going to all different Disney worlds. It also has the best ending of ANY game!!!

Like everyone else who did a review i have to say this is an unbeatable game in story, character, gameplay, sound and visual. It even has a moderatly high replay value. I dont think a game plot has been this good(that ive played) sinse either ff9 or ff7. THe game has all ur favorite disney characters(unless u liked jungle book) and then adds the great final fantasy favorites: squall, cloud, Yuffie, Aeris(aerith), cid, and even sephiroth. THe lands r beautiful and us great color. There are many great techniques that make slashing through endless hords of the HEartless even more fun. And the difficulty is just right too. The only problems are 1) a little sappy 2) They gave finalfantasy charactes voices, a real tragedy( especially sephiroth done my lance bass). 3) sephiroth was too damn hard 4) The ending isnt really fullfilling usless u watch the whole credits(ive done it twice) and of coarse on the net they make a big deal out off the hidden movie u get my completing sum quests, its not much else. U dont know what happins, but the graphics are nice anyway. It sound like im bitchin a lot so im gonna close by saying, BUY THIS GAME SQUARE HAS MADE ANOTHER CLASSIC. Stay sick peace

It is good that Squaresoft have put some FF guys in it but I think that they made Cloud too easy to beat. I know a good game when I see it and this is one that stands beside Final Fantasy X. I think that Squaresoft should do another one but dont go overbourd with them like the Final Fantasys. As for that guy I prefer the gun blade and the Buster sord.I was Going to ask a question but I cant. your pal Dave (I Didnt say it was a bad game).

I was a bit skeptical at first. But Know I have to say Kingdom Hearts is one of the best games I've ever played. I've normally been a die hard Final Fantasy gamer, but this game rocks! I for one am looking forward to the sequel.The game itself does have a few bosses that seem impossible to beat, but overall, I recommend this game.

when i played kingdom hearts i had no idea that is was going to be as good as it was. from the theme to the characters, levels to the story line. this game was great from beginning to end. (well technically i'm not at the beginning, i'm stuck at riku) but from after all the times i've rented it and love it, its all, unfortunately going to get boring after i beat it. I really hope they come out with a second one some how.

Kingdom Hearts is the best game,once you start playing it there no stoping,because you want to see what happen next,& you just can't put it down,I love the battles that Sora gets into with Goofy & Donald,I also love the graphics in every new world you come into. My favorite world is Halloween Town,because Sora looked sooo cool dressed in his costume & Jack Skellington was awsome to hang around with,& fighting OOgie Boogie was darn cool. I think Riku was sooo hot and I love his pretty blue-green eyes,he was hard to beat in Hollow Bastion,but the fight was out of this world.
This game is nothing like I have,ever played in my life and I'm very much looking forward to the,next chapter in the where Riku comes back and now he is in the city,looking for Sora to find him again,this new chapter comeing up is going to soooo awsome to play,& I'm sooo ready for it,if the new is as awsome the first one,then I'm already hooked. You can email me to talk about the game,I never get tired talking about the best playstation 2 game around todate,if you haven't got this game,then take my word you to get it's the best,& the most challening game you will ever play in your life and I know you'll fall in love with it I did .

Disney and Squaresoft make a great team in this game. Riku is
awsome alost as good as the storyline.Also, the appearances of
Tarzan,Aladdin ect. Once again this game is GREAT! I mean
SO COOL!

it is a very good .graphics are great .i like the way they put ff characters in it.there wasnt enough fmv.it only had it in the beggining and the end.it should have ad like the amount that ffx had.Characters were great.i think leon and yuffie were like goind out or something.the was a very good idea.If i had to change one thing i would have made the game alot longer and some of the bosses a little easier.some of the bosses like the phantom in wonderland and the 2nd Rikku and Hallow Bastion a little easier.Donald and goofywere increadably fuuny.sora wasnt funny enough.They could of had some jokes in it tho.the battles were good.I dont like theway some games like ff7 had those battle things like you would see the number of hp you had left.while with kingdom Hearts they would just have a bar ond when the whole thing whent black you would be dead.you can just constantly beating the crap out of a person.while with the other way you have to take turns and takes out hp.i have to recommend this game to rpg lovers.
