Guys, just to comment, this game has goofy for a reason, a hanging ending for just the reason big guy over there said, and an ultimate plot. all of u looking to buy this game, do so, IMMEDIATELY. It is seriously my favorite game of all time, i am level one hundred with a perfect game in under 30 hours, shows u how much free time i have :), its pitiful but believe u me, if u play this game, u wont want to stop for anything! I hope yall email me...i cant wait for KH2, i can give any one of u hints and tricks if need be, so email me!!!

WOW! It's nothing like I thought it was. The first time I saw a review in a magazine I thought it was pretty cute. The next review was more in-depth on the topic and before I knew it I wanted soooo bad I stared to annoy people by talking about KH nonstop! The problem at that point was... I need a PS2! Thankfully at Christmas I got one along with (drum roll)........ Kingdom Hearts! Yey!! I was playing it constantly when the snow came and the power went out for...48 hours!! I had to wait two whole days the play the thing I wanted for 5 months! Well, As you can see by my reactions on the game it is a defendant buy! Don't let people think your wasting your money on this awesome game! 10 out of 10 for sure, but now that I think about it I'd rate it 9 1/2 stars cause no FF9 characters were in the game! Buy it now cause you don't know what you’re missing!!

It was better than i expected! I havent even gotten that far yet. The game is challeing. whil the grafics are awesome. figthing is cool too. ten stars. You start out on destiny Islands as sora. the once you go to travese town you get donald and goofy, then you can go to alice in wonder land, olypic collisum, or the deep jungle. Good luck!

This is the game!!! When I first saw the previews for Kingdom Hearts, I was totally psyched. I wanted to get it right away. Even though a lot of people think it's a bad idea to have Disney characters in this game, I thought it was kinda cool. It makes the game more interesting with the Disney characters. And besides I love Disney. I'm not done with the game yet, but once you start you can't stop. I once played for six hours without getting up from the couch once!!! Kingdom Hearts has a really good plot, it has awesome graphics, the characters can talk, and it has characters from the FF games and Disney. This is the game everyone needs to play.

Game waz awesome except for having to heal 100 times per battle. Towards the end, in the special battles, like Ice Titan, I mean, its ridiculous how much healing u have to do.

I already wrote a review but what the heck i luv this Game!! I've already beat the game....but i think the next one needs ta be a little longer. i mean they made this game so good u don't want ta put the controller down. but i gotta tell ya...the graphics & sound r awsome!the main characters r preety sweet too....except Goofy. Man i cant wait for the 2nd one though!!! I highly recamend this game!! I really like the game cuz the storylines awsome & its a mixture of just an animation game & Disney....when i saw the comercial fer it i knew it would be an awsome game!But hey if n e of u guys NEED HELP W/ THE GAME just e-mail me:) I've helped some people already so just email me:)..... a few reviews back i used ta be *a gamer* but i'll put a name this time....

its the best game ive ever played and those graphics are awesome and those weapons sweet, but still some boss fights are really hard like riku 2 and the music is cool too but rent it first to see if you like it, so on a scale of one to ten id give it a ten.

I may still be at Riku # 2 at Hollow Basytion...But...I beat Maleficent!! So...It's a awesome game, seeming as how i have only played final fantasy 7...Disney characters...Donalds okay, Goofys a pacifist...And Jack Skellington is my favorite. This is definately a good RPG game to those that hate disney, seeing as how disney has made it so they are violent. But still..Its fun to get together with a bunch of dalmations, demonic heartless things, and over all,sits a good graphic, good storylinre game, which i look for in most games.

AWESOME I do NOT say this because of the control, graphics, or characters. I say this because of the AMAZING storyline! Ok the graphics, control, and characters were amazing too but still... I say it definitly deserves 9-10!! Though the Wonderland quest is hard I still say Tarzan is harder.

Alternate ending sequence
Successfully complete the game with all keyholes, 99 Dalmatians, and the Hades Cup.
Infinite magic
This method requires that you have the summons spell Bambi, which you can get in 100 Acre Woods. The abilities of Treasure Magnet and Jackpot are also very good to have. Unlimited magic is actually quite intuitive, though not necessarily obvious to all players: Summon Bambi, and have the Treasure Magnet and Jackpot abilities on. This enables the quick collection of, and increases the number of Magic Bubbles Bambi drops, respectively. You will get magic back at an incredible rate. This can be used throughout a battle, or simply to refill your magic at the end of a battle without the need for Ethers. It is best to summon Bambi and fill up your magic bar just before killing the last creature you are fighting. Also, unlimited magic also means unlimited health when coupled with the Cure spell. Of course, Bambi will not appear everywhere, such as the Coliseum, where this method would be extremely useful.
Easy money
Use the "Infinite magic" trick to help collect items and money. Find an open area where a lot of enemies appear, use your area effect spells, especially Thunder, repeatedly then run around and collect everything that falls. Remember to equip Treasure Magnet to help collect and Jackpot on as many party members that have it to increase the item drop rate. A good location to try this is Traverse Town's second and third districts after closing up the Keyhole.
Life
Get 200 Mushrooms in the first town. You can sell them at Trevers Town to get extra life.
Fighting
Try to master using both the Left Analog-stick and Right Analog-stick. Remember to top up your partners' items. Use lock-on targeting in all Boss fights. Do not always rely on your partners to heal you. Try to use the hit and magic attack method. For example, first lock on the target. Next, use your magic until one last MP remains then join in the pounding of the Boss. Cast magic when you regain one block of MP. Continue to pound the Boss. Remember to take care of your HP during the pounding.
Easy experience
When you first start, you can fight Riku, Wakka, Tidus, and Selphie by talking to them. A good way to get experience is to fight Wakka or Riku, however if you defeat them all and get the items you need for the raft (the two logs, the cloth, and the rope) and select "Rest", when you wake up in the morning you can fight everyone except Riku. Defeat Wakka and Selphie then talk to Tidus. He will tell you about his three on one match with Riku and how bad he lost. You will then have three options, Select "3 on 1", and you will start fighting against Wakka, Tidus, and Selphie. Tidus and Selphie attack in a group. Knock out Tidus, then Selphie. Keep your distance from Wakka. When he throws the Blitzball at you and it is about to hit, slash your sword. It should be deflected, and you will get 1 or 2 experience points. You can repeat this as many times as needed, but if you hit Wakka with the ball a certain amount of times he will die. Even though it may take practice hitting the Blitzballs, it is the easiest way to get experience at the start of the game. It is possible to leave Destiny Island at level 12, almost strong enough to defeat Cloud.
Defender Shield
After you seal the Key Hole in Hollow Bastion, return and kill as many Defenders as possible. Defenders are the lion head enemies with the hardcore shields. One will eventually drop The Defender Shield, which is Goofy's second best shield.

this game turned out to be better than i expected. at first i thought it was gunna be one of the stupidest games ever bcuz of the dizney characters, but wen i actually got the chance to play it, i got hooked. i mean i luv final fantasy. this game was really surprising. i actually maaged to beat sephiroth on my second try!!! i was on my cuzins data but i still beat him. my cuz is at lvl 100 and he managed to get the oblivion but i beat sephiroth with the lionheart. email me if u want any tips!!

i think the game is awesome, i havent even got far on it, but i like it, the characters like Tidus and Wakka from final fantasy 10 and selphie, yuffie, aerith, cloud and squall from the others are totally great they play good parts, although i was a bit disappointed when they used the nme riku from ff10 which was spelt rikku.
Anyway its so great, im stuck on deep jungle but, ppl have told me the endings gr8 too cyaz

When i first played the game i waz like omg this is the best game ever!! It seems so real,as u play it u feel happy, upset, excited etc...its like a real animatoin cartoon. the graphics r awesome! My fav character is Riku,he's so cool. i also love the theme song, Simple and Clean. They seriously NEED to replace Goofy! I mean come one now he fights w/ a shield! thats all? I'm sry for all those Goofy fans out there(If there is any!!) but he's pathetic!!! As for the rating, this game is off the hook!How could u play this game & not love it!? But i didn't get why Riku didn't join Sora in the end. And why they didn't just go to the island together w/ Kairi. I cant wait for the Kingdom Hearts 2. This game is awesome!!

Ok i love Kingdom Hearts so i'm not bad mouthin it or n e thing.But this is for all u ppls who just don't get it.
#1 I know a lot of u don't like the ending very much cause it keeps u hangin.But they have to do that to interest ppl to buy the next one.I know,i didn't like the fact that Riku Couldn't go w/ Sora but hey < remove me > at least it gives me somethin ta look forward to in the next one.
#2 And no Kingdom Hearts is not just a game for little kids.Its accually fairly challenging.Its not all about pressing the X button either.
#3 Yeah i know that the whole Gummi Ship thing waz pretty pathetic so i'm not gonna lie about that one.But ya have ta admit the graphics & story line was awesome!
But when i saw the comercials for it i just knew it wasn't some kiddish game.It looked like an awesome game of anime w/ a mixture of Disney & thats exactly what it is undescribably awesome!But u know whats funny,when i beat the game i didn't have all the dolmations so i didn't get the SECRET ENDING,yeah it really sucks cause now i have ta beat it again!But its all good cause i'm leveling up to about 90 if i can so it should be a breeze cause i'm already good(not ta brag or n e thing)

It took me like 66 hours to beat it but I did it. And I did it with no codes and no book. The only thing wrong with this game is that it is to freaking long. I mean just when you think you won you didn’t. But when it is over the ending was lame. The graphics are really good and the game play is excellent. The character design was amazing. I recommend this game to all gamers who like the Role Playing Games. The sound was great nothing was scratchy but crystal clear. The fun things about this game is that you got to go visit your favorite Disney worlds like Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Alison's Wonderland, Nightmare Before Christmas, Tarzan, Pinocchio, Hercules, and 2 other no Disney worlds. Also what was fun was that you could build your own gummy ship and collect money throughout the game and buy various weapons, and items. The characters Sora, and his helpers, Donald and Goofy set off on an adventure to stop of the heartless. This is one of the longest and greatest games I've ever played so go show your support and all you Playstation 2 fans and buy this game.

Well, a couple of years ago, I gave up on consoles for a while... got more into PC games. Recently, with the release of DBZ for PS2, I decided to pick one up. I had decided that there were going to be 4 games I would get right off: DBZ, Robotech, FFX, and Kingdom Hearts. I honestly only even considered this game on the advice of a friend. Mind you, I'm not saying anything bad about FFX, but... I've found that I can't stop playing Kingdom Hearts. Yes, I'm a big DBZ fan, and I grew up watching Robotech... but this game, Kingdom Hearts, snagged me from the very start. I was quite suprised at how well the Disney characters were played into the story. Like others, I am a little offed that there aren't more FF characters in play here, but that's ok. I've gotten pretty used to Sora, and have come to think of him as "today's" Cloud or Zidane. I wouldn't want to put too many details into this review, as this game has so many "surprises" in store for the player. I will say this: If you own a PS2, you like SquareSoft RPGs, and have EVER liked Disney cartoons at all... you simply MUST own this title. Younger players may find it a bit challenging, particularly with the real-time combat... but that's fine, it's more than entertaining enough for "mom and dad" to "help out" along the way. (And for them to play it themselves will the 'tikes are in bed.)
