When I got Kingdom hearts for christmas, I opened and played it for hours on end. The day after christmas, I beat the game. It was awesome. It was one of the best games that I had played in a long time.

omg...i thought that this game would suck, but when i gave it a try...i loved it. the graphics are awsome..the story is well plotted. It has all of my FAV. Disney characters in it. I havent beatin it yet but i heard that the ending will leave you hanging...i cant wait! This is a MUST GET game! once you start playing it you will be hooked !

I'm a huge Final Fantasy fan and when I heard Squaresoft was making Kingdom Hearts I trusted them that it would be good even if it was based of disney charecters(by the way Markooo Squaresoft makes PS2 games - the bouncer and FFX and are coming out with more like FFXI, FFXII and FFX - 2) anyway yes this game owned defently not as good as final fantasy but if you liked this game and want a more mature version play the ff series.

Im not much of a playstation video kind of girl! But I was amazed to find how intreging Kingdowm hearts could be! I loovvedd the game. yet im still trying to beat it. I would definalty ate this game a ten!

I've got to say that this is one of the best games made by squaresoft. At first I go to my friends saying ff10 is way better. At my friend's birthday, I saw it and was amazed. Turns out Kingdom Hearts was way better than ff10. The battle system is not so good because you only use one character. But the graphics and gameplay rocks. But if your a boy you'll hate when you go "Under the Sea". You can even summon dumbo! My cousin hates the game because you can't battle with Donald Duck. I love it cause it has lots of final fantasy.

THIS GAME IS INCREDIBILE! I spent 45 hours playing! I have'nt won yet, but its soooooo addictive. Anyone who thinks it's "kiddy" is a loser. Fighting cloud is cool! So, GET THIS GAME!

I enjoyed the game quite a bit. I like Disney, I like FF, and while it was obviously one sided, there was enough FF in it to make fans smile a bit.
PROs..
*I like the Controls of it, using the entire controller they make good use of whats available.
*Open Access with little mistake. You can walk/swim/fly anywhere. and you never go thru a wall
*A1. Goofy and Donald rarely get in the way, and they fight! Exception: regulating their potions.
*The end fight. The final boss fight is greater than 2 minutes.
*Cut-scenes.. I found many, maybe the FMV format of gameplay throws you off?
*Bonus stuff. Optional Bosses, Pooh, Dalmations, Synthing. nuff said.
*Story Line. thumbsup. Not totally in depth, but I liked it.
CON'S
*Beginning choices. More distinction between choices.
*Fighting. X-X-X-X-X. throw in some keyable combo's that would have been cool.
*Merlin's practice chamber. Good Idea, could have been more. It lacked point.
*Gummi Blocks. Cool, but complicated, Fun to make, not neccessary.
For what it was, (the first in a series, introducing a new generation into the art of RPG) it was really good. I bet the sequals will be better!

When I first got the game I thought it was going to be one of those boring, oldish games made by a company that doesn't even make play station 2 games. When I played it seemed a bit interisting but not somthing to realy get into. After playing it for a longer time I got so into it that I jumped into the ocean to swim around not realising anymore that it was just a game. As I got got even further through this game I found what a master peice it was. The game is so itching with detail and realisim that it seemed like real life. It has a perfict story line wich made me sad, worried, happy, puzzeld, excited and many more including terrifide.
This game reached out to me in a way sending a message that if I just believe anything can be possible. This is the best game I ever played, I never knew a play station 2 game could be so well designed and as good as this.
Games that are based on adventure, action, drama and upgrades (improvment in strength, defence etc as you defeat enemies and gain experience) is my most favourite type of game.
p.s. the characters names are so hard to come up with no matter how hard I try I can,t figure out any good names.

i have bin thinking "man there should be a game with a new fun game system" and also thinking "there should be a big ff get together ya know?" now never in my dreams did i think together. i only got the game yester day but so far so good i mean no everquest (best game ever) but hey what can i say killing those heartless things are almost as fun as bashing orcs hehe. any way the only thing i think could make it better is if u could chiose to be evil or have more side quests in the begging or for heven sakes make the camra in eye veiw (so u see what the charictures see and still move) ticks the hell out of me in 3rd person view. any way great game and there are always if onlys. good job square []

I just beat kingdom hearts it took me a fair amount of time but it is an awesome game! The ending though left me hanging...they need to make a 2nd one! The whole game was very mysterious and powerful! They should make a movie of it all! It would be the best movie! BUT COULD ANYONE THAT HAS BEATEN THE GAME PLEASE EMAIL ME!! I am kinda lost here and stuck! I would love if someone could help me! I need to know here i can find the next keyblade and how to get a different ending in the game cuz the one I had to sit through and watch was a bunch of crap! So email me people and I can tell you all I know!! I really wanna see the other ending!!

The moment I was aware of Kingdom Hearts' exictance, I almost laughed. Squaresoft and Disney...I had never seen THIS one coming. Though, I soon felt impelled to play the game as soon as i was informed that the Squaresoft Character's would be granted voices in the game. Once I got the chance to actually sit down and play the game, I imediately begain to pluck out the pros and cons.
For the most part I found the game satisfactory. The graphics were top notch, the folley art was nigh on target, and the voices were perfect (excluding Sephiroth's N*syncronization). On the matter of gameplay, I believe square really pulled it off. In fact, the reason I even played the game through was becuase of the gameplay. However, I was dissapointed, heavily I may add, in the interest of storyline. Personally, I would shoot myself dead if i had to live amidst a land ruled by Mickey Mouse.
Where to start...The disney characters, in my opinion strike an eccentric, perhaps even unwelcome contrast towards the squaresoft characters. The art style entitled to each differs so greatly it feels, to say the least, awkward.
So, a group of heartless demons emerge from an alternate dimension and slowly vaporize different worlds from the inside out. Seems fair enough, but could it have hurt to have at least one level from a Squaresoft oriented world? Yes, I know in the game it was mentioned that Aeris, Leon, and Yuffie's homeworld was destoryed, but that doesn't mean that there is no Final fantasy turf left at all ( actually, it does, but that's not my point). Could it have hurt to play in, say, midgar, or lindblum or somewhere? I don't know about anyone else, but Playing in one-hundred achor woods had to be the single most embarassing moment of my life.
Yay! Do you know what time it is? Bitching time! The summons were tacky, said simply. THough they were probably placed in the game for some odd type of comic reliefe, It got annoying to cast a summon (an aspect of squaresoft that i usually took as an oppurtunity to absorb some of Squre's creative monster Design)and see bambi frolliking in on a bed of flowers.
And finally, by last personal grudge against the game; Apparently FF9 has become completely forgotten throughout the past few years. Sure, I should probably be grateful that the one and only sephiroth is in the game, and that cloud has a decent voice, but the game lacked SOMETHING that I think would have easily been remidied by an FF9 cameo; Would Eiko not make the perfect Kingdom Hearts character? She's small, enchanted, and irritating. Perfect, I tell you! Now, there would be no better game in existence (in my opinion) if Freya was included as a playable character in Kingdom Hearts.
As you may be reading this, thinking "Can't this stupid Jackass be optimistic for once?", I would like to assure you that I did like the game enough to buy it. It deffinitely is worth playing, and resembles a good point on Squares record (I don't think there has been a Real Time Square game since The Bouncer, which wasn't half as good). Also, I think that Kingdom Hearts is also a good introduction into the world of Real Time gaming for younger gamers, for example, a Devil May Cry for kids.
Bottomline, it's not great, but worth spending time on. But will squaresoft ever come to their senses and make Freya a playable character in real time? Eh, maybe I'll get lucky come Kingdom Hearts II. (You all know they're going to do it.)

One word desribes it all: awesome! I have anticipated this game's release for a long time before it came out and it's better than I expected! Most people may simply blow it off because of the Disney characters, but they're awesome! This is no kiddy game. It has such a deep, mysterous, riverting plot, sheer genius. The graphics, gameplay, and Disney cameos are too mucb to pass up! This is definately the greatest game ever!

Although the graphics and cut scenes were cool, the game could have been longer, and shown more Final Fantasy things. The battling style is different and with humorous characters from disney, ot was fun to see them in a different attitude. Although still not that smart, especailly on some of the boss levels, they are fighting and attacking. The voices are great and if the game had more Final Fantasy stuff and maybe a longer gameplay, it would be one of te best games.

This Games is hard at first but man the disney cartoons never look so sweet.!! this is my favorite game in playstation 2 but thats sucks that i can't afford a memory card so i have started all over again so thats sucks. yeah they should make a sequel to this game i would buy it.

I've never played a better game! The graphics the battle system is unique, it's like 6 games in one! The disney characters are hilarious and the fact that the weapon is a key makes it perfect! I can't put the controller down! I'm playing right now!

ok well me personally i totally and compleatly refuse to play a game that has bad, horrible, extreemly poor graffics. This game has like some of the best graffics i have seen (let along played) it looked like it was in real life to me. I love the fighting system and the charectors. JACK AND ZERO TOTALLY ROCK!!!! they did well on the voices. i mean you could tell they were different if your a moive fanitic like me but like in the older movies like The Nightmare Before Christmas the guy who did the mayors voice is dead and so i though they did a good job on him and Jack. i loved how Squaresoft was on of the partner in the game i love Final Fantasy 9 its so cool and the first ff game i had ever played i havent beaton it but im ok with that. i Loved the voices and the graffics on the FF charactors they totally rocked. the story line was so cool. and the cutseens, Pure magic. the only thing about this game though is that im having a major time beating Rikiu in the Hallow Baston (the second time) he like majorly hard. but all in all i loved the music the theme song is so awsome. i love im so getting the sound track. so as you can see i love this game i havent beaten it yet but hey its serisouly fun. my sister (who hates video games and thinks they are a waste of time) even said she might learn how to play it. that totally means its a good aswome totally rocking cool beaned game. EVERYONE SHOULD TOTALLY BUY IT.thats really all i can say ta ta.

I think Kingdom Hearts is a game with a great battle system and awesome graphics. I love the battle system. It's so unique and is ingenius. It is just TIGHT! It was so cool how they made a Disney game so completely awesome. I loved the FInal Fantasy series, and I think this game is better than them all, and has lots of farmiliar characters in the game.
