Im a Final Fantasy buff,I have played all of them from the first one...the only reason I bought KINGDOME OF HEARTS is because for ONE it had the FF characters in it and for two SQUARESOFT made the game and in my opinion as far as graphics nobody can beat SQUARE...BUT...here are the downs of the game...I dont like Walt Disney characters they are GAY...I would have rather played through with Aeris and Squall like in the old days on FFVII, I could have tolerated the Disney characters if I didnt have to play with them and they were just cameo appearances instead...but nothing is perfect...heck I would have been happy also if I could just switch out and use Aeris and the others from FF...Donald makes me want to take a valium he gets on my nerves so much...but I guess SQUARE had to do some of what Disney wanted but you could still tell who the boss was in making the game and thats SQUARE SOFT...also the game is too short and I dont like the LEGEND OF ZELDA 64 BIT CAMERA VIEW...but all in all its an okay game but I probably will not play it over and over again like I do the FINAL FANTASY GAMES, as a matter of fact once I beat it which I havent had time to do yet I will never play it again...LATTA

WoW! This game had to be one of the geatest RpG's no wait games in the world I mean squaresoft has made some really good games but this takes the cake ok it looks all kiddy and stuff but once you get it you just cant stop playing it and the music come one How many times have you been hooked on music from a game that you only heard on a COMMERCIAL and the way they got final fantasy characters voicers that have never spoken excellent this game was great I loved it

This is one of the best RPG's ever. I was a little turned off by some of the Disney characters(Whinnie the Pooh, Peter Pan, Tarzan, and so on)but the Final Fantasy characters more than make up for it. Especially Cloud, Squall, Aeris(yes!!), and my favorite(I crapped myself when I first fought him) Sephiroth!!! With a great story, great graphics, and great characters and gameplay, this is a definate must-buy, Disney and Squaresoft fan or not. Hoo ha, baby, hoo ha.

I've been looking forward to this game ever since i heard about it. I must say I'm not dissapointed. Kingdom Hearts is yet another amazing venture in a long line of great games by squaresoft. The only complaint I have is that i have a mild case of carpol tunnel in my wrists. This game has so much action, so many moves, it's quite simply never ending fun.

ok... this is definatly an awsome game, but i only gave it a 9 because of that one boss in the begining, that iguana/Clayton battle, it took me for ever to beat... and the fact that Ariel isnt a princess... but Alice is.... WHERE DID THEY GET THAT???
i dont know... other wise its one of the best games ive played in a long time... one of the only games that held my attention for this long...So buy it... its good times!!!

the graphics are pretty good and the choices of magic casting and wepon selection are great.If you are lookin'(exuse my grammer)for a game fulla' action and suspense a $50 price is waaaaaaaaaaayy worth it bebe(baby).and unlike any final fantasy games on this game during a battle ya get to move you're legs and run around while fightin'.If I waz a professional game rater this would be game of the century. honest it would. words of advice: once you get the game just play, play, play, play, play!!!! i will update what i think about the game play every time I get a chance.

Ok, because it was made by disney as well as square, and had lots of disney characters, the game was made slightly too easy for the younger gamers who would play it. Also the battle system was teribble and I got very bored of repeatly hiting the X button, but again, this is for the younger gamers. The graphics and the sound track were great(Hikaru utada is a brill singer!)and the story line is pretty good, altogether I think square did a great job even though it was hamperd by disney. But, I still think Final Fantasy 8 and 10 could bet this.

This game was awsome because everything in game is really fun. I fell in love with this game and played it for hours and hours until I beated the game. When they come out with kingdom hearts I,ll get it right away. Anyway this game so cool. I just hope the next Kingdom Hearts comes out soon.

One word desribes it all: awesome! I have anticipated this game's release for a long time before it came out and it's better than I expected! Most people may simply blow it off because of the Disney characters, but they're awesome! This is no kiddy game. It has such a deep, mysterous, riverting plot, sheer genius. The graphics, gameplay, and Disney cameos are too mucb to pass up! This is definately the greatest game ever!

Well, a couple of years ago, I gave up on consoles for a while... got more into PC games. Recently, with the release of DBZ for PS2, I decided to pick one up. I had decided that there were going to be 4 games I would get right off: DBZ, Robotech, FFX, and Kingdom Hearts. I honestly only even considered this game on the advice of a friend. Mind you, I'm not saying anything bad about FFX, but... I've found that I can't stop playing Kingdom Hearts. Yes, I'm a big DBZ fan, and I grew up watching Robotech... but this game, Kingdom Hearts, snagged me from the very start. I was quite suprised at how well the Disney characters were played into the story. Like others, I am a little offed that there aren't more FF characters in play here, but that's ok. I've gotten pretty used to Sora, and have come to think of him as "today's" Cloud or Zidane. I wouldn't want to put too many details into this review, as this game has so many "surprises" in store for the player. I will say this: If you own a PS2, you like SquareSoft RPGs, and have EVER liked Disney cartoons at all... you simply MUST own this title. Younger players may find it a bit challenging, particularly with the real-time combat... but that's fine, it's more than entertaining enough for "mom and dad" to "help out" along the way. (And for them to play it themselves will the 'tikes are in bed.)

omg...i thought that this game would suck, but when i gave it a try...i loved it. the graphics are awsome..the story is well plotted. It has all of my FAV. Disney characters in it. I havent beatin it yet but i heard that the ending will leave you hanging...i cant wait! This is a MUST GET game! once you start playing it you will be hooked !

Ok i love Kingdom Hearts so i'm not bad mouthin it or n e thing.But this is for all u ppls who just don't get it.
#1 I know a lot of u don't like the ending very much cause it keeps u hangin.But they have to do that to interest ppl to buy the next one.I know,i didn't like the fact that Riku Couldn't go w/ Sora but hey < remove me > at least it gives me somethin ta look forward to in the next one.
#2 And no Kingdom Hearts is not just a game for little kids.Its accually fairly challenging.Its not all about pressing the X button either.
#3 Yeah i know that the whole Gummi Ship thing waz pretty pathetic so i'm not gonna lie about that one.But ya have ta admit the graphics & story line was awesome!
But when i saw the comercials for it i just knew it wasn't some kiddish game.It looked like an awesome game of anime w/ a mixture of Disney & thats exactly what it is undescribably awesome!But u know whats funny,when i beat the game i didn't have all the dolmations so i didn't get the SECRET ENDING,yeah it really sucks cause now i have ta beat it again!But its all good cause i'm leveling up to about 90 if i can so it should be a breeze cause i'm already good(not ta brag or n e thing)

this game turned out to be better than i expected. at first i thought it was gunna be one of the stupidest games ever bcuz of the dizney characters, but wen i actually got the chance to play it, i got hooked. i mean i luv final fantasy. this game was really surprising. i actually maaged to beat sephiroth on my second try!!! i was on my cuzins data but i still beat him. my cuz is at lvl 100 and he managed to get the oblivion but i beat sephiroth with the lionheart. email me if u want any tips!!

the reasons i love this game is because of the realism of the attacks the magic and also the plot of how your trying to find your friends throughout the game. The only problem that i am having is that i cant beat cerebus. I love how the game slows down your final hit against the heartless also. It is also cool how they get people like chip and dale, Goofy, Donald, Hercules, and tarzan in the game. It is also cool how you have to help all of the dalmation puppies get home and how you get to at the beginning fight the people on the island and how they added in the people from final fantasy like cloud, cid, and all of the others. One thing that i dont get though is why exactly all of the planets started to dissapear and you have a ship to fly to planets that should have already dissapered and also when do you get the people to summon like mushu from mulan, dumbo, simba, and bambi because i haven't gotten them. Who else got scared when the tiger in the deep jungle just leaps out and starts attacking you. thanx for your time

I think this game is simply the best ever created by any video gaming company out there. It was so much fun to play and very adventorous. The heros and goofy were very helpful, but donald wasn't at all, everytime you were in a battle, he died! But overall this is an amazing game.

Kingdom hearts is a very good animated game and I find it a good idea to have all the disney characters and all their worlds. But at the end of the game I thought you would be able to go gack to destiny islands but you don't you have to do the ending over and over again from the save point called final rest in the end of the world so that realy realy sucks.(a definite immprovment)

I think that Square soft and Disney worker really well together to make this awesome game. The Graphics were as good as Final Fantasy X, thius is just a superb game and all the pplz who thik that it was a bad idea for them to side and make this game was a retarded idea dont kno what they are missin out sure they have donald and goofy but these characters are awesome allies instead of wastin ur time healin urself while fightin they heal u and u keep fighting anyone who hasnt played this i strongly say U SHOULD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kingdom Hearts has to be the best game I've ever played in my life! Everyone thinks I'm immature too, but I don't care because KH is better than they are! I totally fell in love with KH (and Riku ;) the second I sat down in my papasan and picked up the controller. THE GRAPHICS DOMINATE ALL! Riku is sooooo hot. I know, I'm in love with an anime dude. I DON'T CARE! All my friends like at least one anime character. Well, anyway, I'm having some trouble beating Hallow Bastion and Olympus but I'll get there eventually. For now, I'll just enjoy the graphics and go through levels I've already beaten!

To tell you the truth I never thought that I would be renting the game a gazillion times until I saw the first 3 seconds of the Intro... I'm not lieing a split three seconds and my eyes were glued to the screen. From when Sora is falling in his dream to the door of Kingdom Hearts closing. When I first saw Riku at Destiny Islands I totally fell head over heels for him. From his cool hair to his majestic blue-green eyes and cool, collected personality. I loved about remembering all the familiar once loved Disney characters and their story. The end is sooooo sad I was literaly in tears and I have cried about it for about a week. The game is great! I believe this game is as good as all of the Final Fantasy's. This game has everything an RPG (as myself) could ask for. Im waiting for the sequel to this so badly!!! but as obsessed with this game as I am I went researching and viewed the secret trailer so many times I have a very close guess of how the sequel is gonna be like (and trust me its about 3 months of research and viewing) If anyone's looking for an RPG, trust me get this one!

I will admit it, this is a very fun game. I greatly enjoyed this game until I beat all of the Disney levels. After that, it all went downhill. Exploring the vibrant Disney worlds were the only thing that kept me playing this game for 20+ hours. For me, its hard to truly call Kindgom Hearts a game. It is just another example of the recent trend of games where the only reason to continue playing is to advance the plot and view the next FMV. Kingdom Hearts is a cartoon that you can play. That can either be a good thing or a bad thing depending on your persective. If you enjoy games like Morrowind and Deus Ex, please stay far away from this game. Kingdom Hearts is merely eye candy meant for children and non-gamers. While it is certainly entertaining, this is far from the best game ever.
