THE #1 BEST GAME IN THE WORLD! | | Tommy Geier from Broomfield,Colorado USA says (9/Feb/2006): | I love Kingdom Hearts more than any other PS2 game in the world. if you are wondering if you should get the game or not the answer is ABSOLUTLY! you will be soooooooooo sorry if you dont. This is a very fun game and everyone has got to get this awsome game. I have been waiting for the sequel FOREVER! First they said "september 14" then "september 22" then "december 22"then Some time in may or something then some time in april then a time in march now its "march 30"!WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE!!!!!!!! I have beat the game many many many times and now its pretty easy but DO NOT think its just like a game you buy cant wait to play then play it and its way too easy to play and you beat it in a day or two. I can now but befor it was just right! Not to easy not to hard. this game has an EXELLENT story line and its not like other vidio games its way way better. when I play it I am thurouly(spelled wrong) enjoying myself and I felt like I can not stop playing it. I get so exited about it! one time my friends and I played all day and more than once I have waken up in the middle of the night at (3:00-5:00) and started playing it and wind up playing it till 8:00-9:00 but i dont usully do that I usully play in smaller segments. I used to play a lot of vidio games but when I got kingdom hearts thats all I played exept mabey 1 or 2 other games but mostly kingdom hearts. Although I have beaten kingdom hearts SO MANY times and want to play the second one so I have NOT played much play station lately. once they get the sequel out I will be playing SO MUCH! I like the fact that they got the same voices from the original movies and other games but I do wish they got Robin Williums again. The only thing I think could have been beter was the graphics but I guess its pretty hard to make a video game but there not horrible. They are way better than most games. Although there have been some pretty amazing graphics. This game is so unique and creative and its a good blend of squaresoft and disney. I am a Huge fan of disney. I do not see any reason why any one would not like this PERFECT GAME!

And now here it is the realease month (sorry didnt get the
actual realease date) but anyway all I know is that it's in April
(My birthday!!) anyway this is the release for Australia so if you're in other parts of the globe it may or could be different. If you search this word You Tube on google and type in kingdom hearts 2 or Utada Hikaru in the You tube search bar you will be able to watch the Passion song for kingdom hearts 2
also their are many other things there to look at. Hope this might be of some use to you plus I finished the Kingdom Hearts Game ages ago and the ending is awsum rather sad in some ways
but the full version of simple and Clean for the ending is fantastic and was my favorite part of the game, it's really all worth it and I know from what I've seen that KH2 is going to be
a number 1 hit game.
| Fighting Sepiroth | | Christopher Rodgers from Toronto, Ontario Canada says (19/Dec/2005): | When I was first fighting Sepiroth I, like many other people out there, pretty much couldn't even put a dent in his armour. Now I can wholop him without having any items, without cheating + I'm only lvl. 64. Equip Lionheart or Ultima, I only had Lionhart, and Omega Arts, Heartguard, and anything else with an MP boost. Also have Curaga + Aeroga.
First, to get rid of his invisible health bar, use strike raid. You MUST have mastered it by then or else you will just be wasting MP. It will be about 5 strike raids before you start dealing damage. If he tries to attack while you are striking don't worry, it makes you invounerable. If he tries to use Sin Harvest, the attack where you loose all MP + all but 1 HP, use strike raid, as fast as you can, it doesn't protect you from it but you can stop him from casting it. Also use regular attack if he isn't doing anything special or use ars arcanum. Use guard whenever he is using sword atacks. If he uses his version of arcanum, run after his 3rd slash combo, he will send mini halo atacks at you.
After about his 3rd life bar is gone, not counting the invis bar, he will give up on Sin Harvest and use more sword combos plus metor and an atack where he becomes immortal and sends giant rocks spinning around you, avoit those rocks, they do a lot of damage. Soon he will be dead if you did it right, if you did it wrong, there is a pretty good chance you will be screwed over my friend. Good Luck!
| fan, i love it | | A gamer from ft. irwin, CA, USA says (27/Oct/2005): | this game is so awesome, im fourteen, but i have a short attention span, so when i got to the last level my guys were poorly trained and that last guy (i forgot who) beat me badly, along with sepiroth, i doubt ill ever hear about anyone beating him, he took me down in three hits. (shudder) and by the way, i found out something funny, on the level with the dragon malifecient, there is a spot in the thorns were you can jump into, not get hurt,, and let your allies take a crack at her the whole time, combined with goofies gift giver mp thingy, i just healed them as he gave me mp, lol. lvl 56 was the level i was at... my little bro deleted my file 4 different times, each time in the 50s, never beat the game...my recoomednation is obviously, buy it, you almost can not go wrong, buy it, if not, rent it. i need to buy kingdom hearts two...but since this needs to be longer than 200 words... i gotta say one more thing, Sphiroth is awesome!!! i mean it, he killed me so fast.... i mean, then he, at the near end, at his final bar of health, casts heartless angel, knocking ur hp to one, its kinda really hard.

But Kingdom Hearts REEEEAAALLLYYY woke me up!!! It is the COOLEST game EVER!! it kicks all of the Final Fantasy game's butts!!! it is an awesome RPG game. The battle system is AMAZING. I love the characters and the storyline. It is a videogaming MASTERPIECE! The only problem I had with it is that it was too short [but i heard that the 2nd game is going to be 2.5 times LONGER!!]. I love how you can change the appearance of the Keyblade. I also love the wide variety of magic spells and abilities. The graphics on the summon spells are VERY cuul. The game has really cool abilities like Ars Acranum and Ragnarok[my favorites!]. It is also awesome that when you fight, you don't go to a seprate screen, you just stay in the same area. I am obsessed. The game is addictive. Once you play it, you can't put it down!!! I loved Kingdom Hearts so much that I practiced drawing the characters. KH and KH: Chain of Memories got me so hyped up that now, I watch the TV to make sure that they aren't previewing KHII so I don't miss it! But everyone should have a chance 2 play this game, and i feel sorry for who ever hasn't!!!!!

They are awsome and it has the best graphics in the whole world,I mean you can travel to other worlds. For example, Traverse Town,Hollow Bastion, and Halloween Town.Featuring its characters Sora,Riku,Kiari,Tidus,Wakka,[Cid,Squall[Leon],Yuffie,Aerith] these are the people that lived in Hollow Bastion,plus Hollow Bastion was Kiari hometown.One of my favorite parts of the game is the weapons[they are awsome]like theKingdom Key,Jungle King,Wishing Star, Oath Keeper, Olympia, Oblivion, Three Wishes, Pumpkin Head, Crab Claw, Fairy Harp, Metal Chocobo. Also featuring the enemies called The Heartless, for example dark side heartless, thieve and air soldier. Featuring the details, like synthesizing and picking up little square boxes and at the beginning of the game you have the option of choosing your weapon and selecting what you and and what you like, and what you want to see the most. I also appreciate the way they portrayed the heartless in Halloween town, and the unique way the keyblades were designed, with the different key chains and appearances. The clips of different movies was an innovative way to capture my attention, all in all I would say that this game was unique in the way that it captured my attetion, I have quite a few games in my collection to choose from, but this game always captures my attention with something new each time that I choose to play this game, which is quite often.

My favorite character character is Riku and Kairi, the reason why I like Riku is because he's older the Sora and Sora just seems a little less mature than Riku but he's an okay guy (plus Riku is hot) specially on the detiny's island scene while Utada Hikaru's song "Simple and Clean" is playing and I dont mind his bad ass attitude when he's possesed by Ansem (even if it really isnt him)
I'm still having trouble beating that stupid Ansem whose possesed him and I'm level 50! plus been playing this game for three yeears but mostly kept restarting the game I never imagined I would get this far into the game and I doubt that level 50 is going to be enough for the fights to come. Anyways... That's all I have to say, I bet ur pittying me for playing this game for three years and most ppl win the game in 4 days. But yeah as I said I did keep restarting so it doesnt count. Cya!

I've finished the game 5 times and each time I get closer to the speacial ending! I wonder what it will be! It better not be a t.o. (for all you people that don't know what t.o. means, it's tardo, which equals stupid). Ne ways, it has the coolioest characters like Cloud (SEXY), Yuffie, Leon, and some others. The disney stories they followed pretty well. I would change somethings if I made it but I'd still give it over a 10, it's sooo much better than some of those other games out there, and you have much to do! I'll just say this, (If you haven't played the game), You won't want to take your eyes off of it! I've played it for 39 hours straight! That's how hooked I was! What's even funnier is I was on vacation! Didn't even step outside once! Ne Ways, to sum up everything, this game has a great deal of challenges, has awsome levels and a bunch of baddies! It's really fun to play and it doesn't even have anything gorry or discusting, like a bunch of other games that are lurking out there wait to catch someone's eye.

Well some of u r wonderin how to defeat the phantom ( the guy at the clock tower). Well u c this heart undernearth him and the colour says which magic spell u hav 2 put on the phantom. These r the colours and magic u have to do.
Blue=blizzard
Red=fire
yellow=thunder
white=attack
and u will c numbers going down above 1 of ur partners head that is how long they have until they die and they will not come back to life. On the clock u will c blue balls of fire u must put the spell stop on the clock otherwise ur partners r goin 2 die and make u die. Some of u r also askin how to get the chest next 2 ariels grotto out of the ground. It took me some time to but i did find how 2. Well u c that dolphin that swims. Where the strong waters r u must ride the dolphin and he will take u 2 a sunken ship u will go inside and find a silver titan and then u will c the shark u leave the ship and u will find the shark around there u will have 2 fight try and keep out of his way stay close 2 a wall, he will come swimming with great speed move out of the way just in the nick of time and he will hit his head this is ur chance 2 hit him 1 once his HP has gone he will swim away then u should leave the other exit that is near the sunken ship. U will c it is blocked by the treasure chest u c a little round hole at the bottom, underneath the treasure chest examine it and it will push the chest out of the hole. The game has really great graphics and the gameplay links as closely as possible to the theme of the story. I would definately recommend this game to other gamers who like a good problemsolving game that would have you screaming for more. I also found interesting how the creater brought both Disney and Final Fantasy Characters together into one eyepopping game. That was really neat. I'm looking foward to seeing at least three more Kingsom Hearts in the future. I can't wait until Kingdom Hearts 2 comes out. If you go searching on the web for information about the story content, you will definately get great results. Well I got the game because my friend it was a big hit. I thought it would be boring but no. it took me over a month to finish it!!!!! I would have finished it later but my friend tiped me of. it's the best I like the disney characters and FF characters. I especially liked the song simple and clean, it was the perfect theme song for this game. I can't believe it has a part two. It makes more suspense. The 2nd one comes out in september of 2005 I think. How do you get save the queen weapon for donald. And how do you get save the king weapon for goofy. Ever since I found out Iv'e been saving money(from 2003). I wonder who Kari is going to pick as a boyfriend Riku or Sora. But I think it's 99.9 for Sora. does anyone know what happens to Riku and Mickey behind the door. If anyone has confusion in the game ask me. | BEST GAME EVER! | | kuri from tiwan says (22/Mar/2005): | i love this game its my favorite of all time,at first when i was like 13 and i saw this game on tv im like wow this game would so rock!but then i saw the disney characters and im like..eww i hate disney!but the theme song sorta just made it all seem very cool.i beat this game..in about 4 days...because i was so addicted to it,i wish i would of been longer tho becuase it was so good i didnt want it all to end(btw this game is long) its not easy ,..its more hard than it is easy .the graphics are really really nice they are better than any other ps2 game ive played the music and voices are really good..RIKU IS SOOOOOOOOOO SOO HOT!yes riku was my favorite character from the game.i fell in love with him when i first saw the commercial for it on tv.i was like WOW this guy is extremly hot!too bad he was kind of evil most of the game but in the end he was a good guy..but man i really dont like kairi..i acually hate her.if i wer sora or riku i wouldnt spend any time or effort looking for her or w/e i really couldnt care less.to keep myself to stop playing the game because of kairi(who i think is also ugly) i tried to make myself believe that RIKU is the one i am looking for,saving ect...so that would mean that in the middle in the game the scene where sora hugs kairi in the hollow baston..riku+sora=yaoi moment!!(if u know what yaoi means you would understand).i cant wait for KH2!!it would be so cool!over all this game rocks!

thought that came to mind when I heard that Square and Disney were making videogame together that it was going to be so stupid. I thought "What ARE they thinking?!", but when I saw the cover for the game in a advertisment, I knew this game was something special, I knew it was going to be big. And sure enough, it was! I coudn't wait to play it! And when I finally got to, I was blown away!! Right at the start of the opening CG or FMV (whatever you want to call it) I was hooked!! I loved the theme song "Simple and Clean"! And the storyline to KH was so cute! It was a little sad at times though, but that's one of the things that made the game interesting and alluring. That you (well, at least to me) couldn't wait to find out what happens next. The character designs were colorful and creative. And the same could be said for the backgrounds and enviroments. I loved that you got to see characters from the FF series. A major plus!!:) The voice acting is perfect, well that is if you leave out Selphie's voice. Her's is just plain annoying, sorry for anyone who takes that personel, but it is! Now even though I gave KH a ten, there is some bad stuff. Like the battle system.
Now I wouldn't say that it's completely bad, but it's irritating at times when you can't conrtol Donald and Goofy. That you have to rely on them to help you during certain battles. I liked most of the music, but there was a few tunes that just gave me a headache. But trust me, there is more good stuff in the game that made up for this tiny flaws. Like bluiding your own Gummi ship. It might seem kiddie to some. But I really enjoyed it myself. And there is the sidequestes and hidden bosses that make, if possible, the game even more fun! This game is just a small testment of Square-Enix's talent to turn something that would normally be a completely gay game into a beatiful, wounderful, great for young and old, masterpiece. And I thank the people from Square and Disney for making such a great game!
| A few answers for those of you who don't like this game... | | Katherine Anthony from Los Angeles, California says (12/Feb/2005): | SPOILERS AHEAD! Don read this if you don't want spoilers. If you want a regular review, then only read the first part!
REGULAR REVEIW: I enjoyed this game alot. The music is great, the concept it great, the plot is amazing in alot more complex than it appears it first. Overall this is a very appealing game. Sure, in some of the scenes the animation is mediocre at best, the cutscenes feature amazing graphics. Personally, the graphics in this are much better than those in FFX and X-2. Their movements aren't jerky, even in the mediocre scenes (only their mothers). In FFX, it's even worse than that. The dubbing in english is AWFUL, and Kingdom Hearts has the best dubbing I've seen in any translated game. My favorite part about the game, though, was the music score. Every world had it's own regular music, battle music, and boss music, making everything fall into place a little bit better. The main songs, "Dearly Beloved", "Simple and Clean", "Destati", and "Hikari" are the best I've heard from any game, Square or not. True, the lyrics in Simple and Clean aren't nessecarily the easiest to understand, but, again, you have to look for the deeper meaning. It has nothing to do with bathing. It's all about making someone feel pure, despite what they've done in the past, when they are around the person they love. It's about how being with the person you love is the greatest thing in the world. Overall, this isn't the best game I've ever played, but it's my favorite. I give it a 9.
SPOILER REVEIW:
First off, this game wasn't meant to have a hard to follow storyline. Why? Because it is targeted for ages 10-18, most likely. Because it's the first in a series. Because if you pay attention to it more, you can see that what it appears to be isn't all that it seems.
Here are some answers for those of you who didn't pick of on those OH SO SUBTLE (notice the sarcasm) hints to how and why things were the way they were.
About the Islands: There are more than just one island. We know this for a few reasons. First, there are no houses on the island the game centers on. Two, we know the children have parents, or gaurdians at least, so we know there is a place where the children have homes. Three, we actually SEE Sora's bedroom in the opening sequence. Four, there is a dock with boats tied to it. Five, Sora uses one of the boats to get to the island that it centers on (ever wonder why, when you first fight Heartless on that island, you begin on a DOCK by BOATS?). Geez. Did no one else pick up on this? Oh and one more thing. If you look at a world picture (google it), you can see other islands.
About Riku, Squall, Aerith, and Yuffie's Knowledge: I'll explain to you idiots how they all know these things, starting off with Riku.
Riku, seeing that the darkness was his only way off the island in one piece, accepted it. In doing this, the knowledge of the Heartless was gained by him. He knew that a 'door' had been opened. By a door, he meant that a way to travel between worlds was available to them. They didn't have to take a raft across an ocean to get somewhere new.
Squall, Aerith, and Yuffie are from Hollow Bastion in this game. They are obviously not the same characters we know from the previous FF games. Did you notice that their clothing was a little different? Anyway. They talk about how the ruler of Hollow Bastion, Ansem, was greatly interested in the Heartless, and researched them alot. Obviously, they had probably read reports he had put in the library, or something.
About the Heartless: Did you even take the time to think about why they were called this? About their strength? I didn't think so. I'll provide you with a bit of information on them, just so you all can grasp the bigger picture here.
The Heartless are shadow like creatures that are created in a place called Kingdom Hearts. Their survival is based on the stealing of pure hearts, or the hearts of those that are not corrupted by darkness. The infect towns, stealing the hearts of many and finally sending the world into oblivion. Every so often, a world has someone, or a few people, on it that have especially strong hearts that the Heartless cannot take. These people generally end up in Traverse Town.
About Traverse Town: TT is a crossroads between worlds. It provides easy access to them all, as well as house those with strong hearts. Some people do live here as their original home, but most don't. Sora, the main character, ends up in Traverse Town because he opposed the Heartless with his strong heart, and repelled them. This is also why the Keyblade chose him over someone else. He had the strongest heart.
About Riku: Riku embraced the darkness, which sent him to Hollow Bastion, where Meleficent was controlling the Heartless. He accepted her offer to help her if she helped him find Sora and Kairi. Riku was the keyblade's original master, but, because his heart was tainted so much by the darkness, it rejected him and went to Sora. As the game progresses, Riku's power over the heartless expands to the point where it overtakes him. Ansem takes Riku's body and uses it to take the Keyblade from Sora when they meet in Hollow Bastion. In your second fight with Riku, Ansem explain how he isn't Riku, and attempts to unlock Sora's heart, which will return Kairi's back to her body. Sora refuses, but ends up taking Riku's dark keyblade and doing it himself in an attempt to save Kairi. Later, Riku rejects Ansem, and tells Sora to protect Kairi.
About Kairi: Kairi is a princess from Hollow Bastion. This means that she is somehow related to Ansem, if distantly, but we don't know how. She lived with her grandmother there, but is taken to Destiny Islands when her home is overtaken by Heartless in an attempt to preserve her extremely strong heart. When the Heartless come to the Islands, her heart is taken, and Sora's journey to save her begins.
So, as you can see, this game is indeed complex. What I just told you is just the tip of the iceberg for all that I could tell you. Because of these reasons, I give this game a 9.

The secert show is so easy to unlock, And I beat both of the secert bosses, and! and! I got the unlimet keyblade and I will tell all of u who read this is a cheat. It is $$$$$$$$$$$$$ ok. Oh and karia and that other girl that sora thougt that she was karia are both HOT!!!!!!!!!!! because they look so HOT! HOT! HOT!! and I beat sephiroth.And on alice in wornder land is not so funny when u hit the Queen of hearts and her underwear show that is fun that is really and I mean really dum but it dosent mean i hate kingdom hearts so dont get mabe at me.So i think i will give kingdom herarts 10 points because it has nice graphics and the song is really great and when you are at hoolow bastim it made me cry after you beat riku and you have to give up your heart to the one and only Hot!! karia. so that is all ok so iam just going to write 200 words here i go apple toy kingdom hearts
