kingdom hearts the relaxing game ever | | A gamer from phillipines says (1/Jan/2004): | first i saw kingdom hearts i was amazed because of the disney characters and specially the famous squaresoft... i heard from my friend that kingdom hearts is the most collest game graphics and sound ever. THE MOST WORLD THAT I LIKE IS THE "DESTINY ISLAND" BEACAUSE ITS VERY RALAXING AND I THINK THAT DESTINY ISLAND IS THE MOST EXITING WORLD.... wonderland is the most boring world there beacause of the ugly queen and the graphics there are very low. agrabah is the hottest world beacause of the powerfull monsters there. end of the world is the most incredible world beacause of the flying clouds.. monstro is the 2nd boring world in the game beacause of the funniest jokes that riku have done....thanks for reading...........................................................................Once you arrive, work your way up the platforms and to the structure at the top. If you haven't activated Glide yet, you should-it makes this section much less frustrating. After a cut-scene, you lose your Keyblade and Beast will join you temporarily.
Look around the platform you're on until you see an accessible platform slightly above you (nearby the two columns). Climb on it and head for the exit at the top-an elevator will appear and take you to Hollow Bastion proper.
Unfortunately, the front door to the castle is locked, so your first task is to find some way to open it. Take the right-hand path here past the unlocked gates and to an elevator that takes you down to some caves. In the next room, examine the stone to activate a platform. On the upper level is one more stone; push it to unlock the castle door.
Now you just have to get back to the castle's front door. Activate the two wall-mounted stones to get out of the switch maze, and the rest of the way should be straightforward.
Once inside the castle, the first order of business is fending off Riku. Magic has no effect on him, so simply smash away, using Dodge Roll or Guard to escape his physical attacks. Riku is especially vulnerable right after landing from a jump, so if you're a wuss, stay clear until he takes off.
After the battle, go up the stairs and head left to enter the Library, a maze of sorts requiring you to find sets of books and put them back in their rightful places. Start by picking up the red book on the floor and putting it back on the shelf ahead with the other red books. thanks for reading

WHen i tryed it at my friends house i was directly Fascinated only by looking at the beggining. The Song simple and clean is probaly one of the best songs for a hardcore RPG game. The gameplay is Mindblowing and i would have sat and rotten in my couch if my mother didnt Say "Dinners Ready". when i finally went to my local game store i didnt find Kingdom Hearts so instead i Bought Some other game called King Arthur BLA BLA BLA. After that i went to the cinema which took about a minute to walk to and saw "The tuxedo". AFter the movie i went back to game and saw that they just got a shipment of games. so when they put the games onto the shelf I saw what i had come for... KINGDOM HEARTS... when i got home i only came to the part when you are in traverse town because it was sunday and school was on the next day so i had to go to bed. in about three weeks i had come to the part of where i had to beat ansem. i couldnt get past this part so i put the game down. about four months later i started to play again and i went to the hercules areana place. there i leveled up about 30 levels. i then went and beat all of the hidden bosses with ease. i then beat the game twice. i looked on teh internet and saw that you could get an alternitve ending if you found all of the 99 dalmations. it took me some time to find all but three. i looked on the internet and it said that they where ontop of a grey pumpkin in halloween town. it took me about 2 days to find where the pumpkin was. i then found it and beat the game once more to see the mindblowing ending. Squaresoft and Disney have put so much effort into making this nobel price award winning masterpeice. if i could i would give this game 100,000,000,000,000,000/10, but i could only give it a maximum of 10. so if you liked FF7 then you will defentiveley LLOOVVEE this game. this is one of those games which you just cant put away for 5 reasons
1.Mindblowing Graphics
2.Best Songs And Sound EVER
3.Storyline which Engulfs you into playing
4.Charcters From the FF series and charcters with Personalitys.
5.Simply Because it is just a kick < remove me > at < remove me > at $ game.

The story line is so creative.the onlly part i thought was alittle cliche' was the ordinary beat the ultimate villan and save the girl.The idea about a boy going to various disney worlds with a key and the whole idea with the locks and conetions are so originall and creative.i know the idea of a key for a sword is a little weird but ehen you play it, you reallize "THIS GAME IS DA BOMB!". The cliche` parts dont really make the story cliche` because there are so little of them and the cliche` parts mixed with the originall and creative parts makes an EXQUISET (Probablly spelled wrong) story!!!!
The combonation of disney characters and the squaresoft caracters blends together very well.When I first hered of the idea the characters sounded too different and I thought mixing them together does not sound like a good idea at all.I bought the game because it looked pretty cool and I LOVED IT!The characters did blend well (EVEN THOUGH THE FIRST PART HAD ONLY SQUARESOFT)!It does not bother me that some of the squaresoft characters are slittly changed.
Kingdom hearts is not a game you beat the first day. It is also not a game that takes you three years to beat. I think this level of difficulty is very good.The first time you play it, It si perfect. I have beaten the game many times (over 20)so it is alittl easy now. There are still things I need to beat. Setheroth,and the Phantom.I dont really play them very much because I still do not know the secrets to beat them and i dont even know what to do to beat the phantom. All i do is hit him and nothing happens but occasionally i do a spell and somthing happens to make him vonerable.
The graphicas were perfect in the beggining and the end but other than that they could have been alittle better.The only good part of the FF's was the graphics.I wish Kingdom hearts graphics where like FF's.I also hope KH2 has better graphics.THE FIGHTING IN FINAL FANTACY WAS SO STUPID,WHO WAITS THERE TURN AND GOES "Oh im about to die but its your turn so go ahead KILL ME!"Kingdom hearts has way better fighting!

To answer the question below, you fight the Behemouth at Hollow Bastian, then you go to Traverse Town, walk around until Cid gives you a new warp thing, then you go by Hollow Bastion and a new dot appears, which is the new world called the End of the World. This place weird. The first part has invisible walls, the second has chests all over but there is a glowing hole in the bottom that is where you are actually supposed to go (it took me hours to figure this out), you are supposed to go into each funnel thing once, kill what is inside(I'll let you be surprised about what is each area), and go on. The last one turns into a glowing hole when you have done everything you are supposed to. You hop in and fight a giant and surprisingly easy Gargole to fight for 15,000 experiance and ability super-glide. Go through this next area by taking the last opening. Eventually, you get to a large chamber where you fight another Behemouth and all sorts of other stuff, in turn. On the opposite side, there is a heartless symbol that slowly breaks into pieces as you kill stuff. When it is COMPLETELY destroyed, it turns into an opening. You go into that next room and there is a save point. This is the last one. You can go into your gummi ship from here, if you like. If you go through the door, you find yourself in a recreation of Destiney Islands, and Ansem. You fight him once, with Goofy and Donald, then after you defeat him, you go in the crater thing, and fight the same, only stronger than ever, Darkside you fought on the Original Destiney Islands, alone. You then fight Ansem alone. Defeat him and Destiney Islands dissapears and is replaced by blackness. Ansem shows the source of all hearts, Kingdom Hearts, has a big speach, you lose Donald and Goofy to a giant evil ship that has Ansem's New Guardian, only it is HUGE, on top along side Ansem himself, and he is also bigger. You go into a portal thing, fight lots of little heartless, kill the middle thing in the middle, and go back out. You then go and fight Ansem and go through another portal, get Goofy back and leave, fight the head of the ship, go through the last portal, get Donald, fight the stomach of the Guardian, then Ansem and enjoy the ending sequence.

I got everyone's last weapon except for Sora..(im finding out how to receive the mystery goo's by the lil mushroom dudes) well i beat sephiroth and boy he sure was damn hard... all i had to hav oblivion for sora.(you find it at the place you beat riku for the last time) well back to sephiroth you gotta use Areo/a/aga. u have to have all ur critical plusses and hit him in the air...always until u stun him or break his combo use all ur attacks on him. when he disappears, use target button right away so he wont attack you from behind. And if you get lucky from catching up from him when he disapears use ur combo again. keep on doing that when u broke his shield. keep using areo/a/aga again and constantly cure yourself! after breaking his shield either use sonic,(if u know how to use it with combos) ok use sonic, when u finsh your first hit with sonic, press 'x' again at the right time, it will do another sonic right back at him, press 'x' again, then a third sonic in a row, and so on and so on until you get to the last. how do u know if you do a combo? its easy! u have to read the attack button until it says "rave" press 'x' until it lights up after u use sonic once. and if you are far away from him, well use that skill of throwing your keyblade. u can do the same combo like that too. it is the same thing as sonic, but ur just throwing ur keyblade... until you beat him up to the yellow or green HP bar, he'll either cover himself in a blue shield and start making meteors rotate around the stadium
my suggestion either walk up to him and constantly use sonic or just stand at the corner and get hit, so in that way use cure.
oh yeah! i forgot 2 things, in order for you to use enough MP u must equip MP rage that allows you to get at least 1-2 bars of MP once u get hit. And another one is if he does this really strong hit that brings u to 1 HP, u have to keep on hitting him until he fails to do that attack, or throw ur key at him once ur far away so he will fail, and last, just get hit and use elixer. keeping on doing my way and i guarentee u will beat him!

This is a very fun game and everyone has got to get this awsome game. I have been waiting for the sequel FOREVER! First they said "september 14" then "september 22" then "december 22"then Some time in may or something then some time in april then a time in march now its "march 30"!WHAT IS GOING ON OVER THERE!!!!!!!! I have beat the game many many many times and now its pretty easy but DO NOT think its just like a game you buy cant wait to play then play it and its way too easy to play and you beat it in a day or two. I can now but befor it was just right! Not to easy not to hard. this game has an EXELLENT story line and its not like other vidio games its way way better. when I play it I am thurouly(spelled wrong) enjoying myself and I felt like I can not stop playing it. I get so exited about it! one time my friends and I played all day and more than once I have waken up in the middle of the night at (3:00-5:00) and started playing it and wind up playing it till 8:00-9:00 but i dont usully do that I usully play in smaller segments. I used to play a lot of vidio games but when I got kingdom hearts thats all I played exept mabey 1 or 2 other games but mostly kingdom hearts. Although I have beaten kingdom hearts SO MANY times and want to play the second one so I have NOT played much play station lately. once they get the sequel out I will be playing SO MUCH! I like the fact that they got the same voices from the original movies and other games but I do wish they got Robin Williums again. The only thing I think could have been beter was the graphics but I guess its pretty hard to make a video game but there not horrible. They are way better than most games. Although there have been some pretty amazing graphics. This game is so unique and creative and its a good blend of squaresoft and disney. I am a Huge fan of disney. I do not see any reason why any one would not like this PERFECT GAME!

thought that came to mind when I heard that Square and Disney were making videogame together that it was going to be so stupid. I thought "What ARE they thinking?!", but when I saw the cover for the game in a advertisment, I knew this game was something special, I knew it was going to be big. And sure enough, it was! I coudn't wait to play it! And when I finally got to, I was blown away!! Right at the start of the opening CG or FMV (whatever you want to call it) I was hooked!! I loved the theme song "Simple and Clean"! And the storyline to KH was so cute! It was a little sad at times though, but that's one of the things that made the game interesting and alluring. That you (well, at least to me) couldn't wait to find out what happens next. The character designs were colorful and creative. And the same could be said for the backgrounds and enviroments. I loved that you got to see characters from the FF series. A major plus!!:) The voice acting is perfect, well that is if you leave out Selphie's voice. Her's is just plain annoying, sorry for anyone who takes that personel, but it is! Now even though I gave KH a ten, there is some bad stuff. Like the battle system.
Now I wouldn't say that it's completely bad, but it's irritating at times when you can't conrtol Donald and Goofy. That you have to rely on them to help you during certain battles. I liked most of the music, but there was a few tunes that just gave me a headache. But trust me, there is more good stuff in the game that made up for this tiny flaws. Like bluiding your own Gummi ship. It might seem kiddie to some. But I really enjoyed it myself. And there is the sidequestes and hidden bosses that make, if possible, the game even more fun! This game is just a small testment of Square-Enix's talent to turn something that would normally be a completely gay game into a beatiful, wounderful, great for young and old, masterpiece. And I thank the people from Square and Disney for making such a great game!

I'm not yet that far on it but i'll give you my review of the game. I give this game a 10 and one of the reason the awsome graphics. Well this game Kingdom Hearts is about a 14 year old boy named Sora that lives on his island with his two friends Riku & Kairi. What happens is these shawdows destroy their world so you and ur friends get seperated into different worlds. The worlds are disney worlds like Wonder Land or even Tarzans world. Well at the same time Sora's world gets destroyed King Micky leaves on a journy and left a note for Goofy & Donald Duck to go find this one "Key". Ends up Sora has the "Key" which is the Key Blade ( your first weapon) and Goofy & Donald run into Sora. So the three join forces to find King MIcky and Sora's Friends by going to world to world.If you are not sure about this game cause u never really liked Disney games but do enjoy Squar Soft games just think of this game as Dark Cloud and a Final Fantasy game put together with a disney twist. The Graphics in this game are the best i've seen just with the 3D animation. Theres not much I can say about the graphics but WOW! This game also has good sound and an example is when they are talking. No not when u have to read it but u can just listen to it instead. This game is also real fun. Why? Because this is thew first game of its type and it's fun to play with friends and have them help you out and just have an awsome adventure in the many worlds of Disney. The controls are very easy to learn. You shouldn't have any problem with the controls but if you do then just change any way you like. You will be going on many quest as well fighting the Heartless so at times when you're fighting a Boss you may forget some controls. So try to not forget k. ( There is Final Fatasy characters in this game even one who you thought was dead.) Hope you will email me for more info. cause i just got the game and i'll help u with all your needs :)

| This game is Awsome...yet so sad! | | Kairi Hall from California says (29/Jan/2005): | Kingdom Hearts is the most fun (yet difficult) game in the universe! It is sooooo sad how Riku gets possessed, yet Sora stays by his side. Kair lost her heart...that was sad. It is funny how right before Sora almost kills himself for kairi, he smiles at Donald and Goofy. Then he turns into pure darkness and forms into a shadow heartless. Kairi notices this when he meets up with her. Since they shared a heart from eating a Paupu fruit, when he killed himself, she got his heart. She protects him from a bunch of Shadows. Then he turns normal and she later gives him a good luck charm. Kairi really is stubborn...but cute!
Riku is really a good guy. He was the Keyblade master, and Sora was supposed to give him the blade. When the keyblade realized he was opening his heart to darkness (even though it was to save Kairi) it went to Sora because his heart was stronger. Riku then got possesed by Ansem, who was also taken by darkness, and Ansem took over. Riku still lived inside Ansem now, but Sora defeated Ansem's Phisical form. Even though Ansem's Phisical form is gone, he still can control Riku occasionally.
The game is tough to beat (might i suggest that when you play, dont go to End of the World until you are level 70) so level up! I love watching the cut scenes over and over, and i allways start over a new game to watch the beginning show over and over! I will tape the end and post it on my site! Contact me! I know all about the game!!!! I beat it a thousand times!
The theme song "Simple and Clean" is a good song for the game. It has a part that says "Regardless of warnings, the future doesn't scare me at all. Nothing's like before." That shows that Sora is not afraid to save all of the worlds. Nothing is like before because his world is gone.

| Kingdom Hearts Review With Strategy to Beat Riku in Hallow Bastion in the Keyhole Sight | | ?????? from Tacoma, USA says (2/Jul/2003): | If someone asks me if I like kingdom hearts, I'd say of course; who wouldn't? The reason why i like it is because I like adventure games and adventure games that take some time to finish. Now, for some game tips. If you're wondering how to beat Riku in Hallow Bastion in the keyhole sight, you must equip Ars Arcanum, Dodge Roll, Guard, Olypus(keychain) or Metal Chocobo, and anything that has nothing to do with items, in other words, do NOT equip things like treasure magnet or jackpot or lucky strike. Use those abilities for something usefull. O.K., enough of that, noe to the battle. First, you go really near him. When he makes a little hop to get away from you, he will say some thing like: here it comes! or hah or something else. Once he moves back, go away. When he strikes after moving back, be sure to it him. When he powers up, he'll say something like yah! or here it comes!, but this is way different. His power is x2. When he throws a disk of dark energy at you, either block it or hit it to inflict damage on him. Now, here's the tricky part. When he says something like welcome oblivion and starts to float in the air with his keyblade ontop of his head, be sure to be on a safe spot where when he's done a bunch of dark holes burst out on the battle field. Also use Ars Arcanum to hit him one without the follow up combo. Keep up this strategy to beat him. Plus, you should have something that increases HP, MP, Strength, Defense, and Ap. I recommend for one of the equip items WHITE FANG after beating Sabor in Deep Jungle. Also have 3 hi-potions and 3 ethers. If you can hold an even amount of items, half of you're item list should have hi- potions and the other half should be ethers. if you have an odd number items held, you should have 1 more hi-potion than one more ether. Example, if yyou have 5 max item hold, you should hold 3 hi-potions and 2 ethers. You must be at least lvl 58-100 to beat Riku at the keyhole sight.

Who in their right mind would ever want to engage in an RPG that mixes the realms of Final Fantasy and Disney? Who in their right mind would even dream of such a concept and actually put it into production? I had those same thought myself...and was immediately pleased to see my mouth sewn shut. Kingdom Hearts is probably the best RPG to come along in five years. Now, while devotees to Final Fantasy X will say otherwise, these are the same people who scoff at the idea of and RPG featuring Disney characters being childish and geared towards kids.
I can't think of any kid under the age of fourteen who would have the dexterity or mindpower to complete half of what this game has to offer.
From the very beginning you are thrust into a dream, quite literally. Sora, the main character of Kingdom Hearts, is perplexed by some very odd dreams he's been having. Bad for him, great for us as we watch his strange tale unfold. Indeed, Kingdom Hearts is a dream for all those who have been waiting with bated breath for a classic RPG to come along and lay waste to all those to come before it. Kingdom Hearts will set set the new standard in RPG's, and if for some reason it does not, the one's to blame will be those afformentioned buffoons who scoff at the brilliance that is Kingdom Hearts.
Once you complete the game, you'll be sitting in a puddle of your own saliva, desperately waiting for a sequel. Until then though, we'll have to settle for the slew of lackluster RPG's that will wash our way (although I'm really enjoying Xenosaga, hint hint).
You are urged to purchase a copy of Kingdom Hearts, any which way you can. If you don't then I don't even want to hear you whine about the lack of "cool" RPG's out there. You'll have only yourself to blame.

I mean, sure, they have some corny characters, but for those Final Fantasy obsessed girls like me, they will hopefull agree with what i am saying.
Cloud and Rikku are hot in Kingdom Hearts. Period. and who CARES whether or not Cloud's sword has bandages around them? They look fine to me, and he only wrapped them around the middle of the sword, not the tip. Maybe he just wanted to stab the enemies- WHO KNOWS?!!!!
And for those pottymouth people up there with one star, well, maybe they just couldn't beat the game. Maybe they're WANNABES, trying to look cool by cussing and disobeying the ten commandments. They have no right saying that the game sucks like *bleep.* They have no honor and decency.
I think that this game was awesome, the graphix, Rikku and Cloud,the music, and the characters. Hey, do you know how hard it is to merge two companies together, pick the characters out, pick a singer, pick the worlds, and make it look good?
Believe me, it's not as easy as it seems. And since it was made for kids, of COURSE there was no cussing. Why do you think it was rated E? If you hate this game so much, why don't u go play State of Emergency and shoot people? It's rated M, so why don't u play THAT instead of Kingdom Hearts if you think you're too good enough for this great game?
I think that this was a sensational game, and whoever doesn't think so, should at least give it a shot. I bought this game for eighteen dollars. not eighty, eighTEEN. i waited until the price went down because my family's tight on money. it's probably really cheap rite now, so go on and buy the game. I can promise you that it won't be disapointing.

My friends all liked it, but I thought it looked boring. When I played it, I realized I was wrong- I was hooked! The graphics are super- it's fun to play along side Disney characters. Traveling through the different worlds, and running into characters you recognize is really cool.
You start in your home world (Destiny Island), but the Heartless destroy it. Then you defeat Darkside and you get sucked in a black hole and get warped to Travis Town. You wander around, and at the end of the level find Donald and Goofy, who stay with you the rest of the game. You travel through many other worlds, defeating Heartless, Bosses, etc. At the very end, you fight many bosses before you win the game. It keeps you interested and occupied the whole time!
Kingdom Hearts was complicated at first, but once I got further along, I realized all the things I could do to make it easier. There magic shortcuts so it's easier to do magic, and you can customize how Donald and Goofy fight, so you win more battles. It also helped that I bought the strategy guide. It was a good investment. My mom says playing Kingdom Hearts is educational, since I need to plan strategy and put alot of thought into what I will do next. I was even able to count some of my game time towards a reading contest, since I spent so much time studying the guide!
I would recommend this game to anyone who likes to think while playing. It's not just a fast-action game- there needs to be thought involved, which keeps you interested more than just for the first hour or so, like so many other games. It's a great game and if you're thinking of buying it, I'd say "go for it!"

Iv seen it on commercilas and stuff and saw it on the disney channle, and i thought man that looks stupid. and then one day my sister brought it home cuz her friend let ther borrow it. she played it alllll the time and i was gettin frustrated cuz i have lots of siblings and we only have 2 tvs so ya get what i mean.... neways....one day i decided i would just watch her play it and at first i was like wow this looks really complicated! and it looked really wierd and stuff. so my sister was stuck on the lizard guy in tarzan so i said i'll try it and i beat him my first try! i was really excited! so i started a new game and my sister showed me what to do cuz she was the expert, but that changed suddenly cuz i wouldn't put the controller down and i beat all of them! then i came to Ansem "the seeker of darkness" and that just made me frustrated cuz he was sooo hard to beat an i thought i would never beat him! i screamed my head off every time i died! and i knew all the lines to that scene! then i finally beat it and i went CRAZY! cuz i thought it was the end guy and i finally got to see what happened next, if the princesses were set free and stuff and then i was really mad cuz it wasn't the end! so i didn't know what to do next! so i just went to worlds and played around till i went to peter pans world and woa! at the clock tower! that huge mosnter thing! i tried to kill him but i don't know what to do!? can someone please tell me how to kill him!? because it is driving me crazy! and if you have any other secerets like never dying codes and stuff please share them with me cuz i just wnat to see what hapens in the end! ok thanks!

Im just not quit bright enough to be able to beat people, go to worlds, know where i am in a world, know who is there, remember who i am supposed to find...and....geez,i don't even remember emerything that.. i.. dont remember....hummm. anyways, so i can't play for crap! but my lil sis, who is 12 kicks ass at it!!! and she has beeten it i don't know how many times and still playes it more often than anyother game we have! afnd i love to sit and watch! the grapjhics are sooo amazing and all the characters are just realy cool, and the fact that they mixed the original disney classics along with final fantasy characters is just too cool! the story line is absolutly amazing! it is so different and inventive! plus i also almost lost it when my sis showed me the princeses of heart! i grew up having everything princes, and then they had them on this game! the different worlds were so neet to see! and some of the characters were kinda hot as my sis would say. she is in love with ricku! its so funny! anyways, this hame just has it all, and now my sis has the book, the sound track( this is the only thing she would ever listen to!) tons of printouts that cover her room, and now she is purchasing clothing! plus she owns 2 copies of kingdom hearts! one for my moms house, and one for my dads! anyways, the gaming disn't realy get to much better than this!!!! (except for donkey kong, my personal fav, but thats just me) so that is my review of kingdom hearts!

I hate that one spell that kill's you instantly. Even if you have the "Last Chance" ability, he'll cast the spell,then slash you with his sword before you can heal yourself. And I'm wondering if the Ice Titan was supposed to be harder, 'cause he's a LOT easier to beat than Sepiroth!All you have to do is dodge every one of Ice Titan's attaks and hit those small crystals he shoots at you(It's not as easy as it sounds). Well, that's all I have to say.
