Can Squaresoft get any better? |

Where to start with Kingdom Hearts? Should I start with the great graphics or the amazing idea for a story line? The simple fact that they mixed classic Squaresoft (mostly Final Fantasy) characters with classic Disney characters is an AWESOME idea. Your party consists of Sora (The main character) and two Disney characters at all times. It could be Aladin, Tarzan, or even Ariel from the Little Mermaid. You run into Final Fantasy Characters all the time. Squaresoft seemed to like Final Fantasy 7 as you will run into its characters most frequently, while I have yet to run into a character from Final Fantasy 9 other than the ever "kupoish" moogles. The Story is great and the characters are great. The music for each world is taken directly from the movie, so it is nice. For example, while visiting with Ariel (from Disney's "The Little Mermaid"), "Under the Sea" is playing, etc. The graphics are amazing. They look exactly like they did in the movies, even Meleficent from Sleeping Beauty looks just like she did about 50 years ago when the movie first came out. The voices to the characters are perfect, too. Genie sounds just like he did in the movie, as does every other character that are in Disney movies. How can you go wrong with this game? Anybody who says that this game is for kids just because it has Disney characters, obviously hasn't tried it. This game is meant for the kid in all of us, not just for kids. Personally, I, a 19 year old gamer, am having a hard time with some of the bosses. Any fan of Squaresoft games and Disney's work, will certainly like this game. Give it a try. I think you'll like it.

Even though I'm not good at playing video games, I enjoy watching them. My brother Jim plays all the time and I just sit and watch him, and tell him what to do. It's funny because, I'm jumping up and down pretending I'm the main character. I think I'll start a game of my own, but I highly doubt I'll finish it. LOL! I just wanted to say this game is all over awesome and I love it alot!

I absolutely love this game! When I saw it at the store and looked at the back it looked alright so I bought it. I got it home, and played it and didn't want to put the controller down! The graphics are phenomenal, the music is great, and it's just an all around fun game! The conrols are also easy to use and you can configure mostly everything to how you want it. You have to get it, especially if you are a Final Fantasy 10 fan, because some of the characters are in the game! The best part about the game for me is seeing all the Disney characters. I'm a huge Disney fan and seeing these worlds from Disney movies in the game makes it so much more fun. It's amazing because it's almost like these places are real, and you are the characters! I would have to say the coolest character so far is Tarzan, he is so awesome! Some of the things in the game are a little hard and take a little time. I've had the game 2 days and am only in the Deep Jungle! If you only buy one game for Playstation 2, it has to be this one! You won't be able to put the controller down and it will keep you busy when you are bored!

This is one of the best games I played. If the people who made this game, created a Kingdom Hearts 2, then you should be able to save anywhere. One time, I almost beat Ansem for the second time you challenge him but I couldn't play anymore so I had to turn my game off so now I have to do it all over again. Otherwise this is a super game and I think everybody should play it.

I think kingdoms hearts is the best game, I never play in ps2! It look tight and sick! Kingdom hearts rule. Even though theres Disney its still make it better. Kingdom hearts is the best game for me! Everyday I play kingdom hearts. I beat the whole game and I start over 3 time cause it fun. So BUY kingdoms hearts is the game ever!!! And it RULZ!!!!

When I started to play this game it was frustrating but when I got a guide it was a little bit easyer. When I got to Traverse town I noticed that there were Final Fantasy characters there. There were even Moogles there too! The graphics were awsome
especially the movies. The graphics on the battle system were great because you can attack when ever you want!The creatures that appeared were fun to kill although some were hard to defeat. The songs on both movies were the same but they sounded different. The sound in battle was cool too.The really cool thing about it was that they mixed disney and Final Fantasy characters together. You even get to go in their own land! The battle system was good graphiced. I beat this quite a few times. I'm still having trouble trying to beat the Phantom, Kurt Zisa, Sephiroth, and the Ice Titan so I'm leveling up at Hollow Bation and End Of The World. I really liked this game and if you are looking for a PS2 game buy this one because it's awsome!

THIS GAME IS INCREDIBILE! I spent 45 hours playing! I have'nt won yet, but its soooooo addictive. Anyone who thinks it's "kiddy" is a loser. Fighting cloud is cool! So, GET THIS GAME!

Guys, just to comment, this game has goofy for a reason, a hanging ending for just the reason big guy over there said, and an ultimate plot. all of u looking to buy this game, do so, IMMEDIATELY. It is seriously my favorite game of all time, i am level one hundred with a perfect game in under 30 hours, shows u how much free time i have :), its pitiful but believe u me, if u play this game, u wont want to stop for anything! I hope yall email me...i cant wait for KH2, i can give any one of u hints and tricks if need be, so email me!!!

I already wrote a review but what the heck i luv this Game!! I've already beat the game....but i think the next one needs ta be a little longer. i mean they made this game so good u don't want ta put the controller down. but i gotta tell ya...the graphics & sound r awsome!the main characters r preety sweet too....except Goofy. Man i cant wait for the 2nd one though!!! I highly recamend this game!! I really like the game cuz the storylines awsome & its a mixture of just an animation game & Disney....when i saw the comercial fer it i knew it would be an awsome game!But hey if n e of u guys NEED HELP W/ THE GAME just e-mail me:) I've helped some people already so just email me:)..... a few reviews back i used ta be *a gamer* but i'll put a name this time....

This game is the greatest game that I have ever experienced in my entire gaming career. It combines the superb gameplay and story that Squaresoft is known for, with everything that ever made Disney magical.
Story-- This game has one of the best storylines I have ever experienced. For those of you worried about the game being "kiddie", I have news for you. This game's plot is darker and deeper than any Final Fantasy or any other Squaresoft game save Xenogears and FF7. And the Disney aspects balance the darker parts perfectly. The Disney aspects add a certain charm that makes the game lightyears better than Final Fantasy.--

Characters-- The characters are fantastic! Sora, Riku, and Kairi are great and the addition of all the Final Fantasy characters is enough of a reason to consider a purchase. There are over 100 Disney characters and each one fits in the plot perfectly. In fact, to my surprise, every single character fits perfectly into the plot.-- 10/10
Gameplay-- Superb. A perfect balance of Action, RPG, Platforming, and Adventure. The only problems are that the Gummi ship mini-game takes a lot of getting used to and the camera can be quite crappy at times.-- 9/10
Sound-- Excellent! This game packs the best audio around. Superb voice-acting, excellent music, and fantastic sound effects.-- 10/10
Graphics-- WOW!!!! The character models, animations, special effects, character designs, textures, and CG are all simply indescribable.-- 10/10
Fun-- 10/10
Overall, this is the GREATEST game that I have EVER played!! Get this if you have EVER even remotely liked a Squaresoft game or Disney movie!!

I beat Kingdom Hearts a couple of weeks ago and the ending was so cool. My friends thinks I'm immature for playing a Disney cartoon game and the Disney characters like Goofy battling. But I think once it gets a hold of you it well never let go. The ending is sad and the voices for the characters, (especially Sephiroth's) are so good. This game is also challenging. But there is another ending which confusing to me. If Steven Speilberg will make a movie just like the game I would go see it. I give this game like 100 stars!

I think Kingdom Hearts is the best game ever. It has awesome sound, awesome graghics, and cool characters. This gme is the best PS2 game ever made I don't know who would'nt like it because if they don't like it they must be really weird not to like it because Kingdom Hearts is the BOMB!!!!!

Since I am not finished the game yet I can only rate it a 9, BUT IT IS AWESOME. The game rocks. I'm addicted already and I only bought it yesterday :) I reccommend this game to anyone who loves either RPG games, disney, geez anything, its really great. The game is a #1 Hit.

This game is the coolest game because it lets you do so many cool things like transport from differnt worlds, has a great vew on sora, has an great epic fantasy stoy line, has osaum grafics, the carictars look so cool, and the chary on top is that disney is in it!!!!!!!!!!

This game brings you joy just by playing this game.You can watch all the Disney favorite all in one game. Aladdin,Tarzan,Hurcules and more!You can help them find there lost princesses and bring them back the there rightful worlds. At the end the game make you want to play it over and over and over again.By the way this game is not EASY. You just have to use the internet for codees or do it by yourself.This game is really fun when you get into it.Oh two more things,first if you want to bet Ersala the sea witch the 2cd time after her energie is gone hit her in her face ane at the end of the game girl unlike you boy the girl will cry whene you see what happend so be ready.don't know about you but I want there to be a Kindom Hearts2

Well-i was excited about this game since I first seen the preveiews. And, I must say I was not one bit disappointed. Graphics are most astonishing. Like your in your own cartoon fantasy world. The nice blend of Disney characters & Final Fantasy were all introduced with elegance. The camera was great too. I never once was found myslef cursing at any bad camerea angles. I really liked how the Disney charaters had thier famouse voices. All & all I give this game a 10 from the graphics to sounds and the story as a whole. And the special game ending-it has left me wondering "When will the sequel be done'?"

This game is the best, it's got the graphics, the fun, and it is a pretty cool combination of Disney and Final Fantasy. I have had the game about 2 weeks and I have already played 70 hours and beaten it 4 times! The only way to make it a little better would be to make the levels go higher than 100, because it's not quite as fun once you make it but it still is the best ps2 game on the whole entire planet.

Currently the best game out there futur games could beat it but my only guess on what could beat it is part two. But the saying goes all good things must come to an end. But I'enjoying it now and thats all that matters. The game plot is ausome and the characters personalities are better. This game is so cool I would have rated it a 11.
