NOT JUST HUNTING.... |
| Iceman_bastogne_07 from Winamac, USA says (29/Dec/2002): |
Star Wars "Bounty Hunter" is absolutely the BEST Star Wars game ever created. The graphics are astouding. Not to mentoin the merciless tracking and hunting of crime lords and their lackies. I love this game so much I could sleep with it! {Not really}. Not to mention, yet again, the hoard of ferocious weapons ranging from the "Dual Blasters" to the "Grenade luancher." This is the revolution PS2 gaming world wide.....Look out Kingdom Hearts! there's a new dog on the block!

| A gamer from Alabama says (29/Dec/2002): |
This game is awesome, neat level design , the id scanner . i give this game a " SUPERB " rating, but i want more , we need follow ups. they could always do one on boba ,... you know if you read into it boba survived the sarlaac pit and returned in dark empire 2 for some revenge on solo. ( some fetts don't die )

So which is it Bounty Hunter? Dead or Alive? |
| Pete from USS Abraham Lincoln says (28/Dec/2002): |
Great game, just finished it up! The only Star Wars game I have played. The dual blasters with trick shots was awesome. The backround detail on the stages was some of the best I have seen in a while. My favorite weapon to use was the flame thrower, it worked great against groups of enemies. The cut scenes were also well done. Just get the game and you shall see!

Wicked Fun |
| Buffalo Ripley from Dallas, Tx says (27/Dec/2002): |
Playing this game definately appeases my bad side. I find the poison darts to be utterly sinful. At first the controls are a bit intimidating and you have to concentrate more on your finger movements than the splendor of this game. Then you reach enlightenment and all hell breaks loose and you _are_ Jango Fett. The graphics are smooth even during when things get a little hot for our bounty hunter. I just love the blaster marks left in the walls after fights. Just a little extra that truly makes a difference when appreciating this game and how well it's made. I've only had it a day (mighty fine Christmas gift) and can't wait till I really get in the soup. Every gamer should have this game. It really gives you a workout and gosh darn if it doesn't make you want seconds.

He is coming and you can't get away! |
| Joe from Magna, Utah says (27/Dec/2002): |
Being a Bounty Hunter throws a whole new twist on things. This is one of the best "shoot'em up" game I've played! Great graphics, control and all the bad guys you've ever wanted to shoot. The jet pack adds so many more moves and tricks to the game play. Huge levels with lots of space to roam and find goodies. The limited continues keeps you on yours toes and can be frustrating when you run out deep into a level. Overall, one of the best games of the year. All the fun of a Star Wars game right down to the music. A must have for your collection!

The Greatest Star Wars Game ever |
| Snap from Baltimore, MD says (27/Dec/2002): |
Bounty Hunter.. hey.. what can I say, besides what everybody else has said; This Game is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!. One of the best Star Wars games ever, if not the BEST. You know, I use to be a big Jedi fan,..now though, my mind has changed. After playing this game, bounty hunting is the name of the game. Aside from the stunning graphics, frantic characters running about as I come blazing for the baddies, the assume weaponry ( True Bounty hunter gear: double laser pistol, flam-blower, Jetpack rocket launcher, etc) and the true to Star Wars character dialogue. The meeting of the two bounty hunters that will create Bobby Fett, couldn’t have come together any better then this. Also, the way they introduced the Slave 1 ship was cool, I was wondering how they would do it. The over-all game play is amazing. I have played many other shooter games, but this one takes the cake…extremely cool game. I am currently on Chapter 5 and it keeps getting harder and harder..bring it on. I hope they make a Bounty Hunter 2. My rating for this game is a 10 fro Best game ever. A must buy….no need to rent this game, buy it and began the Hunt!!

SUPER GREAT!!!!!!! |
| ajg bounty hunter from West Palm Beach,Florida says (26/Dec/2002): |
This is the best game I have ever played. I just love all the action in it. Using the jetpack is my favorite. I was amazed when I first played it.

just blasters |
| A gamer from flordia says (24/Dec/2002): |
What I have to say about bounty hunter is that i prefer blastes the best. I mean look how small and light it is but with the ripid fire (included on the jet back) are A formable foe and wepon to other villines. Included bosses.

Jango can perform kinds of wicked stunts |
| Rancor Killer from England says (22/Dec/2002): |
Well, what can i say but WOW. The Game Must be one of the most incredible Star Wars games ever released for Ps2. I have to admit i did only get the game on Thursday and im now on chapter 3 so some levels are easier than others. Jango can perform all kinds of wicked stunts including : rolls, flips and if u fall from a high distance Jango will grab onto a ledge with one mere hand, hanging over a endless chasm (cool).
I think fighting the beast in the Arena on Chapter 1 Dead Or Alive : Meeko is such a cool way to start bounty hunter. The beast isnt that a hard opponent and its pretty slow so it gives you a chance to get to know Jango and all his cool moves and weapons.
A part of the game im certainly gonna enjoy is getting to meet that Sarlacc look alike and pretend to get revenge for poor Boba Fett after his annoying demise in the real Sarlaccs belly.
One thing i dont understand is how the HELL Jango is gonna defeat a Derranged Mad Jedi with only his everyday villain weapons.
This game is a deffinate 2 thumbs up !!

Best game EVER. |
| Lannus Fett from London, England says (22/Dec/2002): |
I am a Star Wars nut, and I have been waiting for this game since before it was even thought of! I must say, I have NOT been dissapointed. Being a Fett fan in particular, this really brings everything about bounty hunting to a game. 'Dead' fun :P I enjoy the similar gameplay to that of Shadows of the Empire (formerly my favourite Star Wars game), especially the jetpack. More action intensive than other games like Phantom Menace (more RPG) this is all out brilliance. One negative point -Jango Fett, not Boba Fett, but hey, you can't have everything.
|
Best Game EVER!! JANGO FETT ALL THE WAY! |
| Jango Fett from Washington, U.S. of A. says (22/Dec/2002): |
This game is the best! You get to use all those weapons(dual pistols, flamethrower, poison darts, rocket launcher, big blasters, thermal grenades, and you just can't forget those jetpack missiles!)I gave it a 10/10 for me the first time I saw a preview! It rules!I'm sure this is excellent for Jango and/or Boba Fett fans, one of which I am. It has great graphics, and all those levels and planets are awesome. I really like that jetpack-the old fashioned jumping just doesn't cut it anymore. Some places were there are just like doors or vents really make you look around and think, and there isn't a strait, set path with road signs with a billion gaurds like certain games-you really have to think. Overall, this is surely the best game I have ever played. And on level 18, is there a quicker way to beat K. Vosa? I just keep tying her up and punching her, but it is still fun to beat her up and dodge her. Oveall, the best and funnest game ever! Now, if they would only make a Star Wars: Bounty Hunter 2...

This is the coolest game ever!!! |
| A gamer from California, USA says (21/Dec/2002): |
Oh my gosh this is one of the best games I've ever played. Ever. The movements that the characters make are so human, the graphics so perfect and flawless, and I haven't found one single glitch in the game yet! (Stuff like going through walls and things like that). I'm on that one level in the hotel place and it is so cool! I am gonna buy this game the very second I earn the money for it! 10 out of 10!!!!
|
So cool! |
| Jos from Epe, The Netherlands says (12/Dec/2002): |
At first sight I already knew that it will be a great game I was right! Such a great game and I am proud that I bought it (on PS2). It's no button-bashing game. Not only the character Jango Fett looks cool, but also the area, the enemies and the FMV movies between the great levels. Sometimes it's more difficult than I exprected to be. Now you get the chance to see the other side of places, like the machinery behind the high and enormous buildings of Coruscant!

IT ROCKS!! |
| A gamer from Swampscott,Massachusetts says (8/Dec/2002): |
First, this is the best Star Wars game made that's alot of fun.I mean you get a ton of weapons:sniper rifle, grenades, 2 laser guns, a flamethrower, and a couple more. I got it yesterday and I'm on chapter 4 and on some levels there to easy and some are too hard. The only thing they should add is that you should be able to use the jetpack for longer. Otherwise it's unbelievable

I died and went Jango |
| Karma Sutra from Laredo, TX says (7/Dec/2002): |
Holy hell, "Bounty Hunter" is by far the BEST Lucasarts PS2 game they have realeased so far. I'm a HUGE SW fans, but even if your not a nut, you'll love this game. If you a HUGE Jango Fett fan, watch out because this game is so sweet orgasm doesn't even fit in it's vocabulary
|
This game rocks so hard, I had to go into therapy for my Jango Fett-ish! |
| Boba Phatt from Sioux Falls, USA says (6/Dec/2002): |
Being a complete Star Wars nut, I own every Lucas-arts game available for the PS2. Bounty Hunter blows them all away, literally! Everything Jango Fett had in his arsenal in the movie is in this game, from the rocket-launching jetpack to the gauntlet-mounted whipcord and flamethrower. The graphics are astounding, and the sound is dead-on Star Wars.(blasters, voices, cries of Dug despair, etc.) The difficulty is enhanced by the limited number of continues available per level, which I find somewhat frustrating, but it always keeps me coming back to hand out more vigilante justice. The story line is also quite impressive, complete with engrossing cut-scenes. I've often wondered how Slave 1 came into possesion of the Fett family, and now I know.(if only they'd let me pilot that bad boy, i'd give this game a 10.) The plot seamlessly combines parts of Episode II(Zam and death-sticks) with original aspects which I find impressive, most impressive(how 'bout a villianous vixen with double light-sabres? got it.) The pause feature while selecting weapons has saved my bounty-hunting bacon countless times, while the weapons themselves are mind-blowing. Want to regain your Mandalorian mojo? Rapid-fire dual blasters should do the trick. Feel like releasing some pent-up flammable frustration? Just torch a hapless Dug and watch him stop, drop, and roll-Dick-roll. Sniper rifles, missles, grenades, even enemy laser turrets are at your disposal, and disposal is what this game is all about. Wanted, dead or alive? Depends on my mood. Well, i'm off to the galactic pawn shop to check on used jetpacks. Once I yearned to be a Jedi, but no more. Now they are my prey.

The best Star Wars game by far! |
| A gamer says (2/Dec/2002): |
I am a devoted Boba Fett fan, so naturally I greedily grabbed the video game starring his dear old poppy, Jango! I am very pleased. For a long time, I have been waiting for a Boba Fett game, but this works too. There's nothing like rolling around, jumping into a flip and then unloading on your enemies with laser bolt after laser bolt! And the detail is awesome. Characters react to your presence in amusing and intresting ways. The fun factor and gameplay of this title are both of the charts. A definite buy for many people, but still, like all games, rent it first. The story elements and the controls are both excellent.

Best Game I ever Played! |
| Jango Fett jr. from Rock Hill, South Carolina USA says (2/Dec/2002): |
Star wars bounty hunter is the best in action. The BATTLES ARE INTENCE. The line of weaponry is mind blowing! From flamethrowers to missiles. This game takes you into the world of a bounty hunter. If ya quit playing a while it reels ya back in. I just sit there and play for what seems like five minutes but really is an hour. The levels vary from a space age city to the unadvanced desert. Another good thing is when ya scan for bountys [that is what the antennae is for] it is amazing how you can seee what they are wanted for and and tons more info on them. If ya need a game that will keep ya playing for a long time this it it. I recomend Star Wars Bounty Hunter to everyone that can pick up a controller.
