This game is great compared to the other 2. The graphics are majorly superior in and out of fights.
This game has a more basic digivolution system than the other 2.
it is much more similiar to what actually happens in the series.
I must admit the digivolution was a little confusing at first but i slowly got the hang of it.
The games just like an updated pokemon type game. There are a few things that could be said that are bad about this game though.
The SFX is really poor and the music is really annoying after a while. Its annoying listening to the utterly gullible "BoiNg" sound whenever your digimon attacks.
They could've made this much better by just simply taking sounds and dialogue out of the actual digimon TV series to give it a better feel of digimon.
The Graphics outside of battles is good. although its 2d its still good compared to the slow moving pile of donkey mucus that was the first game. Although the graphics during battles is decent, it still has the sloppy frame rate of the other digimon PS titles. Taking into consideration the power of the Playstation, it should be able to handle those kind of graphics no problem, and also make them better and hande it at the same time to.
This game could keep you playing for a very long time.
But for me afer about 6 hours of playing it i found it a little easy.
The Gameplay is brilliant to start off with, like the pokemon games it gets a little bit boring towards the end which could let it down a lot for a majority of gamers.
Digimon world 4 for the ps2 will be coming around maybe later this year or next year though so people who liked 2003 should keep their eyes peeled for that.

This game has it all!! The best way to complete the game is to have a counter crest!! But, be careful because some D-mon can't use counter crest like my level 60 Wargrowlmon andlevel 60 Grapleomon! I can only count on my level 65 Mangnaangemon. I wonder why? But on the other hand the game is kinda dumb. Because they do not d-volve into there real forms! But, it has good graphics thou unlike D-mon 2. Hey, come to think of it why can't we catch digimon in d-mon 3. It's kinda stupid really. The other thing i hate about this game is no matter how much you train the wild digimon are still strong!!! I really hate it!!!!! i played this game many times and i sugest U equip a counter crest to your digimon, this makes it alot easier to beat harder digimon like persianmon and many other bosses. U can usualy gain counter crests from tuskmon in the norther parts of the game AKA the north sector (persanmon almost beat me but counter crest killed herself!)this game is beond cool it should be put in the classic section. another tip i can give u is when u go to face the fake leader of the nort sector's town u should stalk up on healing potions because the town is full of A.O.A peole who want u to lose. my black war greymon is my best digimon yet he is level 91 and can probably whoop anyone down his devestation move is terra destroyer and u can only get him by geting skull greymon to lv. 99 and u get skull greymon by greymon leveling to lv. 50
u learn ur mega level when ur rookie gets to lv. 40 and its not easy

Knowing that the first two digimon games where exilent I tried the new Digimon world 3. It SUCKS! The graphics terrible. Enemy are too strong. And you fight Ultimates when you are a rookie! Knowing I beat the game in 24 hours I hate it! The begging is dumb the story is dumb! The whole thing is dumb! You should play the first too games and not this one.......PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!
Play other games like FINAL FANTASY IX! Or Chrono Trigger. Just don,t play the game. I do complain alot but this game is terrilbe! Play the first one it is a very good game. Unlike this one!But I do like the tradding card game. That is fun. I almost have every card. Evolving your digimon is not so hard but starting off with mon-mon is just dumb! And I hate this game! Ofcourse I already said that. I of course give this game 1 out of 10! Because I hate this game!! I don't know what was wrong with Ban-dai when they made this game but I hate it! And that is so final! The game graphics are good when you walk around but when you get in a battle WHOOO! The graphics are terrible! So um, yeah. THIS GAME SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should not of told you that !!! anyway to get pass that ..... umm ...... desert place go through this order !!! first go south then west then south then west and etc you get the idea !!! well you can go any two directions like this north and west and then again north and west do that and eventually you will get there !!! oh yeah this is not about the game !!!! ...... I know you scum bags out there who are sending documents saying "very important document" those idiots !! you know what that is !!! it is a bloody virus !! so whatever you do don't open a folder ! ???? oh yeah back to the game when you face the real byacko gym leader make sure ya get armor and weopens !!! because he is bloody strong !!! well he is nothing compared to me !! he has ultimet digimon and no mega's ! but they are strong make sure you have two digimon that can DNA digivolve !! here is another tip to find a place ! you might know that place where the divermon hangout on a tropical island and there is a digimon card competition ! oh yeah I forgot to ask the location ! you know divermons lake yeah well go down and swim and you should be there . when you win you get something pretty stupid ! a card trophie HAHAHA !! well that is pretty stupid anyway hey guys a need help to find black agumon to ask where to find him go to ameterasu server and go to the same Island and when you are there instead of battling divermon in card battling you face etemon ! when you beat the first etemon in a card battle ! you will then see a metal etemon and he will ask you to find something for him ! and he say's that agumon has it but I don't know where it is ! so if you could please tell me where to find blackagumon ! I will be happy to tell anything else to you ! oh yeah I would also like some more help you know in those mountains ! you know how you get there with digmon ? well you know that metal etemon in kulon mines ? well how do you get him to give you some strong weopens ? please tell me because I have been getting very very strong armor and weopens and he has not given me anything yet so please tell me ! oh yeah to tell you guys that this game is probably awsome for PS1 but I know you guys are so into PS2 games and I can't convince you to get a PS1 but if you do have a PS1 play this game and you will love it !!! but if you don't like it you probably thinks you are so cool !!! and don't you guys hate that scout AD on tv ! This game is one of my favourite games ever! I find myself playing it for hours at a time! The best parts of the game are the storyline because it's exciting and challenging, learning new digivolutions because it's just fun and looking at the Digivolution Chart to see which are on the same page and are so connected, the really long battles that last about 30 minutes or over because when (and if) you win the unexplainable feeling you get is like no other! Right now I'm stuck in only Amaterasu and the West Sector looking for the Epic Items so that I can fight the new 4 leaders so if anyone knows anything other than you get them on the Circuit Board please e-mail me! Thanks to my digimon and their digivolutions for their extraordinary performance against Galacticmon! Kotemon, GuardiAngemon, Imperialdramon, MetalGarurumon, Renamon, Sakuyamon, Myotismon, Taomon, Patamon, Seraphimon, Rosemon and Angewomon! That battle (along with Lord MegaDeath's) was one of the best ever! The body of Galacticmon was harder than the tail but I still won thanks to Kotemon (level 72) and Imperialdramon and GuardiAngemon! If you can't beat Galacticmon then try equipping your Digimon with Recovery Crests (can be obtained from defeating Cherrymon in Amaterasu's Wire Forest) which slowly but effectively recovers some of your HP!

THAT REALLY SMELLS!!!! so when he gives it ot you go back to ZAMBAMON and talk to him . he will say something like this : BACK FOR MORE WUSSY! when he says that you will give him the thing that really smells! and he will run away like a total GEEK! and you will get past him ! later on the game you will have to face him in a battle ! but he won't be very strong ! when you beat him he will give you something ! ..... hell if I know! I keep forgettin things! OH! by the way I found another mega DIGIMON! but when I first saw him he was just BLACKWARGROWLMON! the black version of guilmons ULTAMIT ! but when I had versed him he was VERY! strong for some weird reason ! then when I had beaten him he gave me something ! then I realised that he was a mega when I looked at his digimon card! oh yeah! Yo! I am back to give you more hints and tips for this game . those guys who said this is a crap game well they are obviously STUPID!!! this is a great game for PS1 and now! you will get more hints and tips but to tell you don't give me any tips anymore because my memorycard is BROKEN!! HAHAHAHA! well anyway do you know how to get the fishing rod? well what you have to do is first go see that guy on shellbeach in asuka server ...... well you don't have to anyway first listen to him and he will say if you want a fishing rod you need these things a rod , o hook well actually it ends up as a fish! , and a line ! well they should be these items snapper : you can find this in divermons lake in asuka server . spider web : well that is for the line ! you can find that outside of protocol ruins in the asuka server that is the best place to find it! . when you have them go back to the old guy on shellbeach and talk to him and he will make you the fishing rod! when he gives it ot you go to any river or sea ; etc and press x and you will see him fish ! that is all I can say about fishing . okay you know about mega's in amaterasu server well go to the shrine in the jungle and keep going forward but I warn you very much strong digimon are there and only go there if you have level 45 and I don't mean skill LEVELS! I mean the full levels go there and you will find magnamon or something he is a blackversion of seraphimon . He can do some damage to you like 400 or maybe 800 if he is lucky . MAKE SURE! you have 99 life discs with you because he is very smart with move's because as soon as your about to kill him guess what happens!? ............ he giga heals himself hehehe cheeky barstard well anyway when you beat him up! he will give you a legendary SNIPER SUIT? I don't know what it does because it doesn't go with PATAMON! it sounds like it should go with monmon . when you have beaten all the mega's in that area there here comes the ENDING PART! well I don't mean you have finished the game the mega's were just TRAINING DUMMIES! when that is done you will atleast need level 55 digimon like patamon and others like agumon ! and try to get into the amaterasu city ........ and of course I can't tell you now ! but I could tell you who you have to face as the GRAND DADDY! boss he is MAAAANN he is the strongest digimon but before you face him you have to face LORDMEGADEATH! ???????? If ya ask me this guy is a total idiot because if you here LORDMEGADEATH! as a name it is pretty stupid well before him you have to face ARMAGEDDAMON! he is pretty tough so make sure that you have 99 LIFE DISC'S! Oh yeah I forgot the GRAND DADDY! boss is probably IMPMON! but he will transform into ............... Oh god I am hopeless at NAMES! maybe I should get a VACATION! but he is bloody strong ! it is a three part digimon that means he is a big huge digimon where you have face three parts of him first you have to face hi head! and the first part is really hard the second part is his body! when you see it he will hurt you and absorb one attack from you when you beat that you have to face the bloody metal TAIL!!! that is all I can tell you right now so bye .

alright guys here is your lucky chance to pass this hard and great game ! well first here is a tip get 99 life discs to beat bosses and I mean hard bosses! when 2 of your digimon faint , when your at your last guy use the LIFE DISC and you will be unstoppable . and here is the good thing ! they are only 500 dollars each or whatever you call it . okay when you battle that boss that owns the first city in the amaterasu server make sure ya have life discs ...... or yya gonna get a big woopen! okay make sure ya have gallantmon! with his special move or ya toast . okay when ya verson the tank digimon . not TANKMON! cause he's easy ! okay use gallantmons shield attack against him ! and don't use any other move ! and you will beat him . Now lets find the platinum training card ! okay do you know in amaterasu city well you have to go down to the SEWERS ! and go to the same place as that boss in the asuka sewers . when you do that you will find BK WARGREYMON ! BEWARE he is pretty tough hehehe . but if you beat him you will get the platinum training card . the platinum training card will let you super train in all of the abilities and in any training gym . okay can't tell you all of the mega digimon but I will tell you who is really strong! you know in amaterasu server well you know where pharomon is located okay go to that place and you will find megagargomon or whatever it is . he is really REALLY REALLY! strong you will need 99 life discs because he can do 1600 attack . If you have a very strong and fast mega you could beat him because he is heavy metal and that means he is very slow but get the joke heavy metal get it HEAVY METAL HAHAHAHAH AHA HA aha ha errr ya don't like it ay . well anyway after ya beat him you will get a wild helmet ........ which I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL IT IS ! hehehe well I'll be back with more great cheats so see ya ...... oh by the way can you tell me where can get veemon as you partner please tell me ..... well because you ow me thanks anyway BY!

What digimon is the easiest to get Omnimon on? I have MetalGarurumon on my Guilmon but I can't get WarGreymon. Only on my Agumon but I need Omnimon on my Guilmon. Please, how do I get WarGreymon on my Guilmon? (Sorry that my english maybe is bad)
Is there only two Digi-Egg's in the game? (Submarinemon and Digmon) Oh, is here more that 200 words now? .. o.O! No! This is hard when I don't have more to write.. I really liked Digimon World 1 because there I could run around as a tamer and took care of my Digimon, but I hated that I only could have 1 digimon so when I tried Digimon World 2 I liked it because of the 3 digimon but there was no nature. Now when Digimon World 3 came I really loved it because I have 3 digimon and all the Nature.
And I really love it because my favourite digimon are there: Veemon, Guilmon, Agumon. I don't know more to write now.. :/

Digimon world 3 is the best game in the world. iv had it for ver 2 years and im still playing it. is amazing how out of those 7 or 8 digimon u can get how they digivole so many times. DNA digivouling is the best other than blast digivouling. My Blackwargreymon makes eveything in this game toast when i fight. my veemon is the cutest ^_^. HOW TO GET VEEMON. in the Asuka sever YOU MUST have the byakoo (sp?) badge. go to the portigal ruens. and keep going left eventuly there will be DRI Bob i think it is. oh yes u must have only one digimon out! but his leve like Agumon for example must be lower then 30. then after blah blah talking to him go to the buld bring and Veemon evolution should be siting around up top somewhere. I killed him in two hits with my skullgreymon. heh i may be a gurl but i have an obsestion with myotismon and skullgreymon. im still working on geting myotismon but when i do its gonna be awsome!!!!! ^_^. and all u digimon and anime lovers rember these 2 names for me. what's up digimon is great no matter what, you get up to 8 digimon if you can find e'm.....each one can get 4o digievolutions at least.....and you get to card battle with some other guys wich is freaking fun...but i can't get veemon some cheap magazine told me that the dri guy is in tyranno valley but he's not.....and i really love veemon and if you now where i can find it please tell me how!! ......but i know how to get the kicking boots....veemon...is hiding in the left side of the etrance of the kicking forest just click between the trees and you will fnd him...as for the fishing rod you need a bamboo spear(buy it) some red snaper(get it in divermons lake) and some spider web from the protoccol forest ok..?..if you can't find the rad snnaper first talk to that old guy from the shell beach the go to divermon's lake and get it! oh! and if you go with submarinomon you can get to duel island!

hi! I could tell you all how to defeat Zanbamon in jungle grave and in one catacomb, knightmon, and the bos, Gallacticmon. You need to get Smelly Herb from Sepikmon and give it to him. But, you has to do something, find his mask. i use pack A and capture another digimon. it is too easy to defeat zanbamon with seraphimon, guardianangemon and sakuyamon. i combined seraphimon and imperialdramon to get imperialdrmon(paladinmode) to get OMEGA SWORD. it is cool, right. we can't defeat knightmon but we have to go to secret room and mirage tower to get help from Resistant. now, galacticmon is evolved from vemmon(you defeat him during the game) and snatchmon. you have to fight his tail first. my first tech is blade twister. 3 hits make him defeated faster. in body part, it will use ragnarok cannon to make your HP to 1. it head will copy my tech. how dare him. i defeat him with my gurdianangemon. it is easier to defeat him with omnimon that can use many tech. i'm sure it is. finally, i have play this game for 3 times! it is soo inresting! the digimon world 3 is the best game that i haven't play. bye

O.k.... 2 start off, Final Fantasy IX Wwwwaaaayyyyyyy better. There aren't many choices u can make in this game(besides which pack u pick, and yur name)! This game is a great way 2 pass time when I'm bored, but it's NOT a game that draws u in like most others. C u L8r $#< remove me > at !ERS!!!!! O.K.... I've got 2 have more than 150 words... so the truth is, this game isn't 2 addicting, the graphics SUK, and the digimon aren't even kool, because u can't have Gatomon 4 a Digimon !!!!!!! This game is 1 of the most $#< remove me > at !TIEST games EVER!!!!!!!!! So $#< remove me > at ! Off all u "Digimon is the best game EVER!" and "I love digimon even though I'm 13" people. If ur over 10, u really need 2 stop playing this RETARDED game and start getting a REAL hobbie(instead of playing with pretend SUCKY digimon)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First of all I love the Digimon serias, but this is disapointing(You only get to pick 3 Digimon out of 3 groups is bogus!). You start out with three small, weak, non cool looking Digimon and you have to train them until they evolve into a slighter cooler looking Digimon and then train them more and more until you reach the final Digimon then you win then it goes back to the game screen. I seriosly Don't find fighting the same Digimon until there levels are up so you can do something fun, fun. On the bright side though your 3 Digimon can Digivolve into about 20 different Digimon including Myotismon,(my favorite) Leomon, Wargreymon, and Metalgarurumon. Plus the story of a young boy stuck in a virtual reality game which surprises is cool(by the way email me if you have any questions!!!!!). I wish The game could last longer But it doesn't.

I'd like some help. I can't defeat this digimon. Idon't remember it's name. It's the third digimon of the mayor in Amaterasu or something. I had Sakuyamon and still couldn't defeat him. It's like a metal machime. I even used the attack KongouKaimandara on him and he only got hurt by 50 or less I think. Could you tell what digimon should I use to defeat him? I have choosed pack A and have Agumon and Guilmon. Please send me an e-mail with what digimon to use. But, I have one more thing to say. Digimon World 2003 is the best! In my opinion.
It's one of the best games I've ever played in my life till now.
Ihope the next digimon game is almost the same but, with characters from season 4. And that you could choose the character YOU want to play with.
