Once again GTA series proves it's the best in the world. Great graphics and gameplay. Characters are awesome. Sweet weopens and Sweet A$$ cars. I have not played a better game than Vice City. Hours upon hours of entertainment. Edge of your seat excitement, you waiting to see what on earth can happen next. Vice City is a game were you try to take over the city and take care of a few old friends. Non stop action where ever you go, great mission, and tough ones might I add, This is what makes me want to help create video games. It would be an honor working for a company such as Sony. Caution... Genuises at work. That is the only way to describe them and all the other companies who create such masterpieces. Like I said hail to the king, this is the best game that has come out. and I can't wait for another GTA game to hit the stores and become a multi million dollar masterpiece. Buy this game. you won't regret it. have fun and do alot of damage in Vice City. Piece Out.

Cars, killing, money! It's got evrything! Although Tommy Vercetti just got out of jail he ain't afriad to go back. He's an all american bad ass with a view of life as steal a car, get some money, and kill his rivals! I give this game a 10 star review!

Grand Theft Auto Vice City is an okay game in my opinion. The graphics are ordinary but the originality is something. GTAVC is great for those who don't mind sitting at the console for a few hours playing the game. The voices of the characters bring out personality and feeling, which is a rarity in most games I've played. It's a pretty fun game to play if all you like to do is mess around. The missions are well done and some are quite difficult to accomplish, which makes this game quite a challenging one. I haven't played GTAIII, but this game seems okay. It has the ability to keep you hooked and is entertaining if you are willing to delve within the very game itself. The one hundred hidden packages aren't very easy to find and you also have to ability to choose way over twenty-five different weapons and arsenal. The motorcycles make the game even better, and the pedestrians say the funniest of things. Overall, GTAVC is a pretty decent game and is a must-have for any Grand Theft Auto fan out there. The graphics, however, could have been better.

it was an amazing game. a hole lot better then gtaIII to me the best game made and to ever to be made it was cool good asome the radio could of had some better music but it was good enghe the best game i have ever spent fifty bucks on but was more than worth it.

i thin it is a really good games and the graghics are good. i am not trying to bet the whole games but i have to to get helicopters i think the people who made the games were on the right track when they were making the game except you can't get any helicopters but the mavrick and the sparrow. i think the gore and the violence is fun and will give you something the game i think is really addictive and will get you in trouble

Maybe I'm just too much into RPGs but here's what I'll tell ya about the game.
First of all, the gameplay... killing, driving, stealing cars, finding secret objects, yes it's fun at first, but it gets old FAST, since that's all you did in the other GTAs too. And what kind of "man who wants to rule a city" doesn't know how swim?
It's really annoying when you're at a dock you're trying to get back on the road, and while you're running the camera suddenly switches, and you fall in the water... very uncool!
You'd expect much more improved graphics... I tought they were horrible.
The sound is good, everything sounds realistic. And more one-liners from Mr. Vercetty would be much appreciated, hearing the same exact ones two or three times in a row, doesn't make you laugh anymore.
And the replay value... yes... the replay value. There is none! After you complete the game, if you can accomplish that, you wont feel like touching the game, EVER AGAIN! Or at least that's how I felt!

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City has to be one of the BEST games I have seen on a console in a long time. everybody think back to when Grad Theft Auto was first released, with the birds eye view and the 2D graphics, people all looked the same, cars sounded nothing like real cars, people hardly spoke. Didn't feel very realistic, did it? Rockstar have just kicked butt again by bringing out the fourth installment for Grand Theft Auto focusing hard on Vice City. There are a lot of mission available for offer and enough ammunition, blood, people, crooked cops and cars to satisfy any criminals needs. The grahpics have taken a giant leap making scenery as realistic as possible and making you feel more part of the game and its characters.
I ensure you, if you start playing this game, you won't want to put your controller back down. You will be literally addicted to it like a drug. If you own it or haven't bought it, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? GO AND PLAY IT RIGHT NOW! STOP READING THIS AND PLAY IT!!!
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City will be the best game in its series for a while to come. It certainly lives up to its hype.

I bagged my mom to get me vice city. then when i got it i played it for the longest time. when i endend playing the game at 1:00 at morning i thought that should ikeep playing or should i stop. i kept playing. after 8 months i stil own the game. bye

i had often heard of the "great gta" so i decided to try it out. well, this is what i got. my mom always says to be nice, so im actually gonna thank vice city for all of my time that it wasted. first off, thank you rockstar for making the ugliest game on the face of the planet, usually i like my games to look similar to the gorgeous zelda wind waker or metroid prime, but you showed me how wrong i was. also thank you for making a conrtol setup that was made to make me die, i loved it :-). and also, thank you for making this game repetitive as all hell, veriety would have just spoiled it all for me. there are a ton of things to do, but they all involve either killing sombody, finding somthing, or racing. WOW WHAT VERIETY!! did i mention how much i loved the graphics, they were so incredibly disgusting and grody that i could only play for 5 min. at a time before having to throw up, the horribly still player animations, the most pixelated characters ever, and glowing blood were great.
ok, enough, sorry mom but i just cant take it anymore. this game is the worst game i have ever played in my entire life. its obvious that nobody else who rated this game on this site have any idea on what makes a game great. nasty graphics, and poor play control, and killing do not make a game good, sorry. if you want to kill somthing, get an xbox and kill in style with halo, or if you want the ultimate gaming experience, with the best game ever, get a gamecube and metroid prime. sorry ps2 owners, your system is underpowered, outdated and missing good games, and it will continue to die with rubbish like vice city on it.

This game is AWSOME When I first played the game though tommy looks fat and the graphics looked bad. But over time they get better and tommy looked thiner. the radio stations have afew classics in them. I like how the main charicter can talk tommy insults the plice like"I dont like men in uneform" but police ar mean back like when you get busted"I want ten minets olone with this guy" The blood and gore is a bit TO EXTREME. The Cars ar sweet this game would last me a year at least. it is kind of oridgenal good value at 100$ definetly 8\10

This game was just awesome!!! When I first played it I was in awe on how FRICKIN great it was. I mean there is no game around that is anyhting like it. All around it is just great nothing of this style of game compares what so ever to it. The only section that needed work is the graphics. I mean they were really bad but i could still look at them without thinking i was playing Nintendo. But otherwise every aspect of the game is just perfect. There is like 40 or more hours of game play! There is so much to do, i mean collecting the hidden packages took me forever!! If you don't have this game you should go and buy it, it is so worth it!! until next time

This is easily the best GTA of the series (therefore the best game there is!) with excellence in every field. The grapics are excellent, although not as good as in GTA3, considering the size and detail of the landscape, sound id original and of good quality and realisticity. (with some funny comments when you nearly run people over!) Gameplay is very smooth, compared to other games of similar genre. Lifespan is outstanding, with so much to explore and do, fun factor is one of the best out of any games, which is suprising considering it's long lifespan. originality is not very good, but it is still very different to other games in it's series. The value of the game depends on who owns it, if you are someone like me, who plays it often, for a long period, it is reasonable value, but if you are looking for a good deal, but don't play it much, look somewhere else. To sum it up, GTA: Vice City is wonderful, with a multitude of challenges, jobs, weapons vehicals and lots more. I recommend it to anyone who likes video games.

Well when I first bought Vice City I thought it would be the greatest game in the world, and in some parts it was. The game has good use of freedom, so if you see it you will probably be able to travel there. But the main thing that I thought that let it down, was the mindless violence. I mean you know when you walk down the street holding a chainsaw and slash someone, the blood spatters everywhere and that is not well animated, it just sprays everywhere. That chainsaw stuff, as you may not have reliesed when you are brutally skin shredding someone is called MURDER, that's right dirty old MURDER. This game does have a good lifespan, but how many times do you wanna walk up to someone with a UZI and pack 'em with lead, you see that the cops come after you, so you jack a car, then your in even more trouble.The sound I would give a 4/10 because when I'm tired of the violence I can just chill out in my Infurnus listening to the radio. The game is original but that won't save it from being the most overated piece of violence I've ever seen. The graphics don't push the PS2 to It's best ability. The game may be good value if you like wasting money, but for most people it's a rip off. If you have any sense don't buy this game, maybe just stick to Britney's Dance Beat.

This is the best game I have played in a long time. The graphics are excellent, the killing is fun and the missions are challenging. I have played this game many times and I never ever have gotten tired of it! And every time I do it again I try to try to do the mission differently. There is always something to do in GTA Vice City!

I played this game forever, I can't get sick of it I love killing and maiming innocent people, while rocking out to Slayer's "Raining Blood" My complaints, are not enough crouch rockets not enough, clothes, the level of traffic is unrealistic, and Tommy can't swin, plus the weapon cheats should have varations, like one with the best everything but, you have the remote detonation grenades, and the rocket launcher, etc... I won't get into the good parts, I would take forever, but anybody with a PS2 who doesn't own this masterpiece, should be mutilated and left for dead, great game, pick it and Hitman2 up, NOW!!!

I've beaten this game over and over and it still never gets old.
How are the cops mean? Your out there killing people and stealing stuff, your a mass murderer, in the mafia they might just be a little jumpy. Once you completed the main story missions, You just have to get a police uniform and take a helicopter in the back of the military base. That simple! Anyway the game never gets old its just fun.

This game is da bombe with the grand selection of weapons to kill rival gangs with and the wide variety of cars to get somewhere in a hurry. I've played all the GTA games and this one by far is the best (no more 2-D citys). I'm hoping the next GTA has more planes that ARE flyable (wish the major airliners were flyable) and helicopters that come with rockets.
