listen people to get a ten i have some tips, sort of like BLOOD!! you need blood because how can u get hurt really badly and not bleed?that makes the game look totally unrealistic.number 2 is background music, here's some advice.......DONT PLAY IT DURING MATCHES!! because the game is corny that way.and the season mode,oh dont get me started it should be longer and the storylines need to be more real and deep if you know what i meaN, i mean you should make a game that would have people that dont like wrestling say "that looks pretty cool" oh and for season,you should be able to become a general manager by being bishcoff, steph or a real wrestler(like how austin is a gm on raw)cause i would like to fire who i want and tell them what to do and have them work for me,and if they ask for a title shot then its my choice.and the divas(oh here we go) what were u thinking? u need more and you need a game called "divas" and it has paddle matches,bra and panties,bikini contests,and beauty contests, and so on.and you can use them in story mode,for example story mode can have different parts u can pick to be such as wrestler,diva,gm,created star,and refarre.and the game needs more gore and nudity. like when MCmahon tells you to kiss his butt they should have him pull his pants down,and for gore the game needs to be more intense,like when MCmahon steps on your face to embarras you his foot doesn't really touch your face.and some times the superstars arent really touching themselves. and there should be stores outside(like when austin and booker fought at the supermarket......austin kicked booker's butt)and when wrestlers get hurt with a finisher they get right back up after a count,i mean shouldn't they be hurt at all, i mean moving really slow and tired and you know....hurt.and wrestlers like spike dudley can powerslam the big show ...one word... retarted.. i have an idea, every superstar should have their own weight, for example if a wrestler weighs 150 or more pounds than their opponent then they cannot be taken down unless hit by a weapon.and the commentary needs to talk when the superstars come out during their entrance.and oh yeah one last thing the commentary should be at ringside so u can beat them up and they will get mad and beat the crap outta ya.and one more thing before all my peeps have to say goodbye...put me on the game..no im just kidding..anyways i have a brilliant idea, when someone wins a match then the game can randomely select who can do what for example with the person whos beat he or she can select,option#1 attack from behind,#2 ask for a title shot,or a main event match to be on the next show,option#3 let him go ... or if the person who won was picked he can.. A. challange a match...B.let him go.. or c beat him up.ok my fabulous work here is done GOODBYE....... p.s. are they really gonna read this?

smackdown 4 is nice but problem were alway be ,like if the superstar is on the turnbuket n i run toward and press circle n at least a move to bring him down and too little superstar in sd 4.I don't agree with blood cause too violent ,not thirlling enough but it still the best.....................

I like the game dont get me wrong but it could use some spicing up. It should have a bikini contest and more matches! I think it should have rey mysterio he is my favorite wrestler he is very unique! It should also be more realistic like for example spike dudley can not pick up the big show. Also it needs more realistic entrances especially the music i mean what is up with that matt hardy and jeff hardy and lita music it sucks!

wwe smackdown shut your mouth is the best wrestling game i've played sin a long time. i like the fact that it follows the wwe closely. the graphics are way better than just bring it. the draft is a very good idea. i was playing it the other day as stone cold steve austin and he drove up to the ring in his truck i started to yell and shout as if i was watching raw or smackdown. the only part of the game that needs work on is the creat part it should include all the entrence music form the past like the DX theme and the old undertaker music. I also like that i can go into timesquare and to the world. over all this is the game that i have the most fun on. this game will be around for a very long time. for $40 this is the best game on the market and it will be somthing that everyone can enjoy.

The game has great graphics, has most of the superstars in the WWE today. It has many great storylines including the NWO feuds (dunno if I spelt that right. oh well) & quite up to date.It is however a damned shame the fact that THQ didn't include Paul Heyman, Eric B or Rey Mysterio & they made the F-5 weaker than the people's elbow which jus aint right as The Rock sucks. Other than a few forgivable flaws in the game it is undoubtfully the best WWE game there is & probably 1 of the best sports games today. Dont listen to that moron who says the graphics are 2D & its the worst WWE game there is but that aint true. Hes just an idiot who needs to go to the opticians again. So if you're a WWE fan & own a PS2 buy this game you won't regret it.

i really like this game, even though i dont really take an intrest in wrestlin. (well i must do now...). why do I like it ? cos it has the unique fighting experience that other fighters dont match. you dont really need to read the instruction book to know what ur doing, except when you dont know how to pin. the way you shape your story by selecting what you wanna do. also, all those modes, everything is there that satisfied me. And for el ultimate experience, the multiplayer options. you will just die laughing/crying/brooding means of revenge playing a 4 way weapons match.
if you think the cast of wrestlers suck, you can make your own league of custom characters. (just imagine face / off in the ring or the resivoir dogs ganging up on one of their victims in a 3 on 1) . its mad.
graphics are great, dont need to complain about those. the sound is just perfect, with all those rock tunes as well, and each individual wrestlers video and theme music accompying them.
also the new bullet time finisher function, where the camera spins around before laying the finish. a really fufilling moment every time you do that.
people would only really downgrade this game because there isnt match type that appeared on tv. i say to them, you suck this game rocks, and u no it deserves ten

While this game is the best smackdown b'ought out yet, it still has loads of space to improve. The game has exceptional graphics, gameplay, everything except for a couple of wrestlers. The main wrestlers that r not featured in this game are:
1)Rey Mystrio
2)Shane o'mac(the most unique high flyer)!!
3)Mr. America
4)Some of the other divas
There are also some really unique matches missing as well, which are the heart of WWE. The matches are:
1)Elimination chamber
2)Triple cage match(Ready to rumble)
3)bikini match
Overall the game is very good.

smackdown is a pretty great game and all but there were some minor glitches.The main thing they left ou were wreslers like tommy dreamer rey mysterio,nidia and mavens actual theme song.Everythimg else about the game is fine good graphics,ok storyline,lots of matches then again they could have added some. this is the baest wrestling game i have ever play on any game console.The career mode is amazing and the unlockables are biezere.The exhibition mode could be better but it is still really fun to play.The graphics in this game are unbelivable the wrestlers look like real people.

i love the game and all but if there is some one you like on the game just make him like rey mysterio after a while in career mode you win his mask and tattoos so stop yellen at the game no back to the good part it is very intense when you get sucker punched by angle in the locker room or get candy for stacey for valentines day even though you dident get her any thing its all good.

buy this game it has everything great graphics realistic moves an up 2 date roster and a great caw it could have improved a bit though like what is the point of having randy orton in the game but no rey mysterio. also the game still hasn't figured out how to make the crowd look good but on a good side the game has an amazing season mode personally the best way to start the season mode is with a created superstar u have to start from heat and make ur way up into the big time. it has a lifespan of a rechargeble battery it is a game u can play 24/7. dont listen when people say things like it isn't realistic do u really wanna see hurricane helms not be able to carry big show or as soon as your wrestler gets hit with a sledgehamer he stays down till the end of the match any way buy this game it iz amazing the best ever

smackdown! shut your mouth is a relly good game but it needs to be improved. it needs to be more realistic, for example spike dudley cant suplex the big show and the big show cant do a shooting star press in real life! thats sort of dumb.and also this game has alot of wrestlers on it but how come they didnt put all the super stars on it their are alot of people they for got to put on the game like tommy dreamer and chavo gurrero scott hall D-lo brown and they should have had old wrestlers on their like bruno samartino, bob backlund, mandkind,and rowdy roddy piper. the graphics are awesome but the graphics for a created wrestler dosnt look as good as the guyss tht re on there.

I think the game is great the only promblem i have is there isn't enough mathes i mean weres the elination chamber match or the casket match or strecher or inferno or barbedwire or even a four coners tag team match but that's not the only thing there disagree with.It shoud'nt be Ric Flair and Vince McMahon as the owners of Raw and Smackdown why not Eric bishofe and Stephanie McMahon as the owners otherwise I think the games great much better than the other 3 thats's for sure.Well i give it 9 out of 10 stars

this game got a rating of ten from me cause it has awsome graphics it makes you feel like your actually there wrestling in the ring with wwe superstars.And because it has so many types of venues and types of matches its just unbalievealbe.Sound is another plus in this game they play all the newest or have the newest themes on the game for each and every superstar.Also there season mode its so far the best season mode "I've" ever seen,cause it has every thing > drafts,story lines you can choose from,sides (vince vs rick),and just the all out drama of the season.Another thing is the fun factor this is one of the main reasons it got 10,there have been times where Ive played this game till late hours of the night and never got board because its the most electricfying game Ive played yet.This is the best so if you dont already own it I suggest you go to the nearest video game store and purchase this wonderful expirence.That was my review and I hope it helps you decide on getting it or playing it,and good luck on your adventurus jurnory.

Smackdown shut your mouth is the best wrestling game I have played to date. Believe me when I saythat I have been playing them since the nintendo first came out with wrestlemania. Although the game is good there are some lacking elements. Such as the casket match, the wrestlers not having teeth, the storyline being the same almost everytime, and no womens title. The entrances are cool the moves are awesome and the crowds rock. The weapons need to be a little more realistic and make the sounds they should when someone is hit by them
All in all the best game i have ever played keep up the good work THQ!!!!

The game was great. There were just a few things it could have had, like sometimes when you want to do a special from a ladder, sometimes you cant because the other guy is on a spot where they guy wont jump to. Givin, it improved from Smackdown!3: Just Bring it, where you could only jump from the top rope to the mat, but you cant do the special from the top of the cell! And, I would have liked to see a womens title too. I would have also like to see Rey Mysterio. I gave this a nine because when you look at the credits, not only do you see how much work they put into the game, but they put so much stuff into such a small CD. It would probably be hard to get all that extra stuff in. (no wonder why the seasons werent longer). And I gotta admit that Rey probably hadent been in the WWE while they made this, same with Jamie Nobel and others, that may explain why Taker was the champ and not The Rock. Plus, I love it when you fall from the Cell, it Hillarius, especially the first time I saw it, I just wish you would fall differently each time. Other than these suggestions, I dont see how the creators of WWE SmackDown!: Shut Your Mouth can top this when/if they make SmackDown!5. (I wonder what they would name that, SmackDown!:What?)Haha. Seriously though, thanks for a great game guys, I cant wait if and when you create SmackDown!5.

it is a great game and i play it like 24-7 but it need different matches like strechter match and stuff like that would be cool. i like the game alot it is 1 of my favorite games but it could use some work on it i love the entrances and some of the charecters r old and need to b changed.

This game is fantastic the graphics are cool the story lines are brilliant all the entrances are fantastic i just can't stop playing it but there are a few things i would like to see in the next smackdown like all the up to date superstars a few extra types of matches like a first blood, a buried alive match, an elimination chamber match and one thing i have wanted to see for ages is being able to make your own title and compete for it in the story lines

the graphics and the gameplay are great, lay the smackdown its its realistic, if u nail a jacknifee or a pedigree or another smackdown your oponnent its pretty much finished (not as in wrestlemania X8 G.C. or at x-box Raw where its almost imposible to do the finishing move. but.. where the hell is rey misterio??? u can create him but his moves are weird, what kind of 619 is that?, those pink mouths on a created wrestler are freaked, season mode its so boring after u played once, but u have to play it at least 3 times to unlock "eveything cool" (not everything) i hate to unlock. HBK unlock attire really really suck¡ they just put a stupid white shirt, where´s his HBK outfit? . but its pretty much the best wwe game , if they get misterio and an elimination chamber on the next game they will made the best game ever

I noticed you people complaining about the roster of smackdown...well duh! they came in AFTER this game was made. Team Angle, Rey Mysterio...all after the release of the game. Personaly this has gotta be the best smackdown game ever. The story mode boring? Are you kidding me? New things are constantly happening and new opponents introduced. Im also the owner of smackdown just bring it which has by far the WORST story mode ever made. Im reading these reveiws and baffled by what im reading. You people expect way too much from this game and its getting better every time. Graphics are the best I've ever seen. All of you criticizing this game for the lack of new people are ignorant and retarded for forgetting that you cant update a game once its out. I think thats enough for now...and finally...BUY SMACKDOWN! ITS SOOOO WORTH IT!
