The game is great, have fun playing for hours... and hours. The play by play needs to improve. I picked Stone cold and was losing, by the play by play said I was beating the person up.
The Stable selection should be more like a group. I think all the WWE superstars should be in the story mode. Like H.B.K., Scot Hall, ect. As for creating a wrestler, there should be real wrestlers name like Bret hart, GoldBurg, Andre the Giant, King Kong Bundy, The british Bulldogs. The list goes on and on. Other wise the game is great. If your a wrstling fan, you will enjoy this game.

their heads at all they would have seen with a little detective work and good old fashion gaming (something lost) not only is Rey Rey in the game, with the West Coast Pop, and the 619- which is just his area code you losers with no life. Also his enterence where he flies out of the floor is in the game, so every part of Rey for you fan he's is in there figure out how to get him, just a hint use the damn card and look up on a cheat who's what number unlocks what past star. Now by holding the release dates a lot of great things ya'll knew were going to happen could have made it onto the game making the best ever fighting game instead of making a great game that will emsure your pockets get fatter at the release of the next on. No reason that John Cena didn't make if if Randy Orton did. Team Angle that's been huge for your story line, they might have been too late, but come on Valbowski,faarooq, god sake stasiak. But no Victoria or Dawn Marie- Yall really need to hold your games a little longer to make sure the wrestlers people want get on these games-My voted are for Brian Kindrick and your cruiserweight department is a joke- these guys night in and out do 50 times more dangerous stuff, recruit more make cruiserweight a major thing sorta when rickey "the Dragon" steamboat was around, there was not a cruiserweight but he would have been the king of them all/ get more Rey Mysterio's he's a top money maker for you besides the big dogs. Its cool and i went in the crowd once cause the guy knocked me out into the crowd but i think the game got messed up. This games not the best cause theres no blood and the chair doesent knock them out that long and earl hebner is getting boring as a ref. When im Kane and I do his taunt were he raises his hand up for a choke slam you have to kick him or make him all messed up before you can do the chockslam. They need new weoponds and more places to go to in a hardcore match. JR and the King or Tazz never show as the little anouncer guys like on wwf just bring it. This game aint the best but its tight.

This game is the hottest game ever. I really like the graphics and the wrestlers are great. I think they should have included more of the newest wrestlers. It is like watching the real show. It gives very good details of the game. The season mode is hot. And I like the story lines alot too.

To start this off this is the best wresltling game ever made. Now to begin the graphics in this game are awsome it never stops getting better. I mean the season mode is better than it ever was I heard some people say that Samckdown2 was better than SD4 what idiots. That game is no where near this one. This does lack blood but for the most part it's still good. Ican't wait for the next one to come out but for now I will continue to enjoy playing this game.

I thought this game rocked, but it isn't as good as I thought it would be. There are some things I didn't like. One is when your oppenent is climbing the cage you can't do a move to them off it,another is that when you fall off the cell you look like your trying to break dance, another is when you do the Undertaker chokes l am your hand goes through the persons neck. But everything else rocks, especially the TLC matches! And the cage matches. The only thing is I don't know how to how to open the cag door. I mean it tells how to open the door in the instruction manual but it doesn't tell what part of the cage to open it at. If you read this e-mail me and tell me how.The create a wrestler mode is really cool. There is some matches that they really needed and that is bikini matches and the paddle on the pole match that would have been really funny to watch. And the TLC match with 3 different tag teams.And the two-player season mode where the hell is that?I mean they had it on SmackDown: Know Your Role. And the graphics suck on it. But back to Shut Your Mouth. I just have say that this game rocks.I know I sound like I don't like it very much but I really like it alot.

This is the best game ever i mean i just got ps2 but i love this game i have only 6 games but i mean i love this game out of all games i think that THQ definetly needs to add blood, rey misterio, matt hardy version 1, team angle, and paul heyman and all of the other people that i missed. I liked the game a lot. There are a few flaws and they are that this hell in a cell when u fall it is not reaqllistic at all but hey it is a game. I love CAW i made a total of 25 people already on this game i love it. I cant wait for smackdown 5 to come out. peace out

I own all of the smackdown games and this is by far the best!Every thing has been improved from the graphics to the storymode.Dispite missing Rey Mysterio and some others this is a solid game.The roster has been improved by adding Brock Lesner,BookerT,Rvd and many more.The finishing moves are exicuted perfectly.The controls have changed a little by making the countering a little more difficult but you can now counter finishing moves.Something else that has been added on are the matrixs effects which let you freeze the screen while doing your finishing move. (this looks really cool when RVD is doing the five star frog splash)The story mode is much improved from last years,the only down side to it is that you can't pick any divas in story mode.The unlockibles include new outfits,new move sets,and there is also and unlockible divas video.The creat a wrestler mode is spectacular.You can basically create anybody,if you want you could even age your wrestler and make them an old person.(its really cool to see an old man kick Brock Lesners ass)In closing this is a great game and you should pick it up especialy if you are a wrestling fan.By the way sf you don't like this game then Shut Your Mouth!!!

wwe smackdown shut your mouth was a good game. i think i know alot about wrestling games cause i own every wrestling game for psone or 2, except wcw nitro....really didnt like that one. i have alot of experience with smackdowns, ive owned all 3 and have made over 300 created characters (had the 12 page memory card, 12 created characters per page for the first 2) by far this one is the best wrestling game. compared to others (wcw, legends, raw) the move system is the best. the graphics and game play have improved. but i do have a few problems. first where is the multi player seasons? they had it n the first smackdown, and it sucked but it was still there. now they have the character more involved, wheres the 2 player mode for it? another thing missin from the first, the ability to name your favorite moves and your finishers and it would show up at the bottom. that was great. it had a few flaws in it, but im sure they can work that out. and creating ppvs was nice and being able to defend your belt on an exibition match, nw you dont even carry out the belt if your the champ and in an exibition match. what about talking? why cant they contact the creators of final fanstasy games and get good dialogue? and the commentary really suck. how about the ability to read a created guys name? and the moves....why dont they look elsewhere for NEW moves? like NWA/TNA and others smaller organizations where they are more creative. especially double team moves. they came out with a couple of new moves but there is so many moves out there. they got weak move like the european uppercut, which they can improve, but as it is it doesnt even make them dizzy. hell they are even missing some from the companies they took over! ECW....how about the problem solver?(opponent lifted over ones shoulders and DDTed by the other) sandmans white russian leg sweep with the cane? sabus springboard leg drop? stinger spash? also they can add moves on the ring apron like a ddt or rhynos piledriver. how about the ability to do finishers of the ladder or top of cage like the swanton? you can do it off the smackdown fist but not a ladder? speaking of ladder, loved the corner moves with the ladder and the ability to pull the opponent off the belt should they reach it. how about a double tem special for a stable like the dudleys 3d rather than have it as a normal move. wheres the conchairto? the improvement with weapons was phenomenal but there is also room for improvement. like moves thru a table...you cant even gore someone thru a table ad make it look good! add more moves to the table in the corner like the ladder in the corner... AT LEAST! also, blood would really improve the game as well. how about more secret characters and better moves to unlock? i unlocked themoves and some were the same as in the previous smackdown...no surprise. i mean i know funk is a legend, but why would i want to unlock a spinnng toe hold that is a special move only? improve the variation between specials and normal moves too. when choosing a special have a categories like you have "roughneck" "speedy" and a special category to make it easier to find the specials. make it able to unlock people like goldberg and sting and sabu and sandman. make it so you would have to play the season to use them at all. what was the deal in unlocking nash when i could play him anyway? make the story lines more realistic, have feuds that lead up to matches better, get jumped, and what happened to the 2 minute backstage brawl thing? and not just with the player that you control, the whole rosters feuds. i could probably go on and on, i told you i know alot about video games and wrestling and you mixed them both. it might seem i was unhapy with the game, but far from it. it was the best wrestling game i have ever played. there is just alot of things that could be fixed. all in all i do give smackdown shut your mouth a 8 out of 10.

this game is the best playstation 2 game invented, and for thoose of you that complain about there being no blood, well there is a way to get blood, on story mode choose the rock as your superstar, put him on smackdown say yes to all of the title shots but loose all the title matches until you have unlocked everything, including the videos, when you have done start a new season and work your way towords royal rumble, go all the way to the end but dont win the royal rumble, then you will have a title match at wrestlemania with hollywood hulk hogan, get a dq in the match, the hogan will shake your hand then he will hit you with a chair, then the rest of the N.W.O will come out and beat the living hell out of you. at the next pay per view you will have a non dq title match for the undisputed title get a chair from under the ring and do the finisher with the chair and BLOOD will go everywhere, now you have unlocked blood, have fun.

The game is yes probably the best wrestlings games ever made up it could still be alot better. Yeah the create a wrestler is really detailed but all the details are crap. Who wants to put rainbow color tights on your caw and horns. give me a break. Another problem with the create a wrestler is that when you make you caw huge or when you try to make him huge (say like lesnar) it always looks stupid! The problems dont end there during the game the moves are very limited. In WWF No Mercy you could perform way more moves then you can now. I find that disapointing. The one major thing though that does make this game stand out is just the game play. When someone is climbing into the ring you can hit them. Also all of the special matches add to the game but instead of having useless ones like lumber jack I would like to see a create your own match. Alot of the time I wanted to just have a 4 on 4 every man for himself but you cant do that. the game is really good and though I make it sound bad these are probably the only flaws. First, I would like to say the game is awesome the graphics and every thing is awesome. But, in the the next game i would like to see some blood and in the create mode i would like to see, not just creatiing a default wrestler but also be able to change the costumes of a wrestler on the create mode. Like if i would want to change Triple H's outfit to a tee shirt with pants and shoes with an NWO logo onthe shirt i could do that. I would also like to see create your own entrance video and possibly entrance music but mostly entrance video. And they should have a raw game too.

This game is the best,though it could have big poppa pump,rey mysterio,scott hall,batista,tommy dreamer,d-von dudley not reverand and all those.i love season mode.they need 4 corner tag team match where u can tag in anyone even if there not on your team.i like all the attires u can give the superstars in season mode.and wheres the blood man u cant have a wrestlin game without blood.even if they did leave out alot of stuff they'll put it in smackdown 5 hopefully,they left out all that stuff but its still the best game ever.

when i bought wwe shut your mouth i was blown away the game is simply amazing the superstars are finally made in proportion and the moves and punches finally have good aftereffect like the finishing of the wheel kick etc. i love the finishing camera angles and the new superstars and their finishers the sounds and intros are the best ive ever seen and the create a wrestlers highly detailed on the whole it rocks although they could have included paul heyman cos hes so fun to beat up and rey mesterio
they could do a seperate costume for matt hardy that looks like mattitude there could be more moves from the top of the ladder and i wish more ;ladders could be pulled out from under the apron one just isnt enough it would be cool to record matches and replay them later one more thing the moves should have more reversals like powerbomb reversed to a hurricanrana or ric flairs leg lock flipped over to reverse the pain. but all the other moves are amazing e.g twist of fate, f-5, swanton bomb, five star frog splash

I think Smackdown! Shut your mouth is simply great.Of course,there isn't Rey Mysterio,Scott Steiner,Tommy Dreamer and a few more.But at least there is Brock Lesnar and the rest.The graphics are great.I think the commentary is still limited.The entrance for certain superstars are unrealistic like the A-train
and Edge.The Hell in the Cell match needs improving.It is very hard to get outside it.There should also be weapons under the ring.I think no matter what superstar you choose,you should still be able to take the ladder which can only be taken by RVD,Jeff Hardy and Shawn Michaels.The season mode is alright.I think the draft is really cool.I love to climb the titontron up to the Smackdown! fist and the King of the Ring chair.The create mode is really good.I love the fact that everything I touch has an effect.The sound is quite good.There should also be Maven's theme song.Jeff/Matt's and Tajiri's music sounds really fake.
I really wish that D-von's call name is not Reverend D-von.When I'm using the dudley boyz to play a match,it sounds really funny.There should be a more variety of call names for superstars. I think you should be able to use women for the season mode.There should also be a three team elimination normal or tornado tag match.The time limit match is cool.The triple-threat ladder tonado tag is one of my many favourites in this game.I really love it and look foward to other WWE Games.

the only thing I dont liked is that there is no blood and in exhibition mode you can fight for titles(belts)but the other things are good.one more thing for the next game please do diferent story line and put the wrestler rey misterio and the others wrestler but I will say again the tag,the 6 man tag,the handicap,the king of the ring,the hardcore,survival.I dont say royal rumble because there can be only 6 man and too special mode the only thing I dont liked is the lunberjack and elimination mode but is a great game,great grafics and is the best game right now

First I have to say that Smackdown SYM is the best wrestling game ever. There are some flaws such as no Rey mysterio, no Scott Steiner, granted they give you all the parts and movesets to create them, but still come on. Also you have to get 100 knockouts in slobber knocker to unlock the divas movie, and let me tell you, its not worth you time, the movie sucks. Now onto my favorite parts, the good stuff. This is by far the best create a wrestler ever. It is so detailed. Also the match selection is great, but I have still yet to see a triple cage match. Overall this is by far the best wrestling game around, even if you dont like wrestling, pick it up, you'll love it. BUY IT!!!!!

Smackdown Shut Your Mouth is the best WWE game ever the season mode is really good although u can't use divas hurricane is the best wrestler there is and the rock sux anyway i havent played a better wrestling game then it, althought if there was special referee in every match and you could have more superstars in the royal rumble at once and u could put more wrestlers in a stable and if there wasnt subtitles the superstar should just speek. Anyway Smackdown is THE BEST !!!

I like this game very much but it made me mad that they did not make scott hall. We all know that scott got fired for drinking but I think he should have been made in the story mode with the nwo. The nWo story line with x-pac was stupid scott should of been there with big sexy and holywood. Eric Bishof should been created to. I would give the game a rating of 7. I hope the next game be better and not smackdown playstation should make a raw game for ps2.
