Smack Down Shut Your Mouth is by far the best game yet, I was in heaven with know your roll, but when I acctualy had my PS2 for x mass and put shut your mouth on I was to GOBSMACKED to keep it closed!!!! .... ~( my mouth that is)
The graphics are awsome, the game play is incredable, the creat a wrestler section is AMAZING!!!.... All the caractures including the new ones look like the real thing.It feels like i would be watching it on TV. It is so great I started to (poop)myself incase Kurt Angle would pop out the screen and kick my a** for beating him with the rock in a Undisputed title match.... I would most definetly give thisgame 10 out of 10, but there is one thing on all the games I think they should do on the next one, I think they should include an on off option for pinfalls in the rules section, so we can have finisher only matches with no falls, or disqualifications only with no falls....
Other than that I think this game is totaly amazing, they have thought of all the little things I was nit picking on when I had know your roll..... Keep up the good work at T H Q! I hope you make more games in the future for us games fans to play....

This SmackDown game is way beter than the 1st three. It has all my favourite wrestlers, exept for Mick Foley, but it was great that Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Hulk Hogan and Rick Flair were in the game. I thought there should be FIRST BLOOD, and a CASKET, match. It is cool that you can do a Choke Slame from the HELL IN A CELL and the Smack Down Fist. And why can you only have 6 wrestlers in the ring at once, like at the Royal Rumble? Other than that the grapics are great, the wrestlers look real, the comintators JR and KING are funny, the Divas look great and no one can stop playing. 1 more thing... why is there only 2 years of season.

This game is the best wrestling game ever! It could use some things though. Like blood. I mean when u hit someone with a wheapon and they dont bleed its kinda stupid. There could also be alot more weomen matches. You cant even use them in the season mode. The season mode is awesom even with that flaw. You can make your own desicions and interfere in matches. They should make more moves with the ladder. I mean hitting them and throwing them on it is all you can do. They sould make mor origional entrances. Next time put rey mestirio on there. The thing with the differant outfits is cool. But come on RVD has way more than 3 outfits. Come on. and what about jeff hardy. his entrance is not the way it should be. the sould come out with the glow in the dark paint like on his video. The Hell in a Cell is cool but you should be able to get whepons out when your in that match. All in all i think this is the best wrestling game ever. There are sooooo many unlockables. its awesome. The divas video is THE BEST!!!!!!!!!! You should deffenatly play this game!

When I first popped this game into my PS2 I was completely blown away. The graphics are incredible. I stood with my mouth open a Hollywood Hulk Hogan stood on the stage playing his air guitar, with Voodoo Child blaring! I was in heaven. It wasn't until I attempted to create my own wrestler that I became dissapointed. I'm not sure if it's just my game, but there is absolutely no Canadian content in the create parts, not even a flag, a maple leaf, nothing. Also, no real nWo shirts. Other than these points I love this game and I've been playing it for non-stop for months.

this game has everything amazing graphics,every good wrestler in the wwe except rey mysterio,and the best surprises possible how can anyone not fall in love with this game it is so amzing it wont be the best until smackdown 5 comes out if they're making 1 which im sure they are !!!!!

This has to be one of the best games out there right now. Its not perfect, but nothing equals it. The graphics are great, but I wish the CAW's weren't toothless, its just stupid looking. Some of those flat-crowd members and people walking on the street and disappearing into thin air is cheesy, but remember, just because its the most recent game doesn't mean everything is going to look perfect, it would probably cost a lot and the PS2 probably wouldn't be able to handle extremely detailed crowd members. And they really need to fix the glitches where people go through each other! The sound is the best I've heard; I really like the crunches when you give someone a Dragon Sleeper or that one running karate kick, crucial sounding. I was a little let down when on the commercial how they made it sound when someone got slammed, but hey, it still sounds good! The reversal system is cool. Sure, its hard to reverse, but its better than the last game, because you could reverse everything! Where's the challenge in that? The CAW is great, I like all the different things you can put on yer wrestler and how you can edit everything down to the very last detail almost! The story mode is one of the best and most realistic I've ever seen, and since I don't watch wrestling on TV a whole lot, I didn't know what to expect. Lots of cool matches, but like many others I wish you could make your own PPV's, that would be AWESOME. This game is a lot of fun! While it may not be realistic, I love throwing people of the Smackdown fist of the top of the Hell in a Cell cage and watch them do a mid-air spin-a-rooni, or throw people into those big cars and watch them fly like Superman. Some people may not like it, but hey, its just a game, it wouldn't be as fun without that kind of carnage!

I would give WWE SD4 SYM a 9 outta 10 because it IS the best so far!The graphics kick ass,so many matches,a lot of interactive environments, and so many characters as well.What many people dont understand is some of the wreslters came after this game was in the making.I would have gave it a 10 but there were some glitches in the graphics and no womens title.They could have made carrer mode just a bit better by having different stuff happen during each carrer because its kinda boring having the same thing happen each time.I was VERY impressed with this game and i dont care what ANYBODY has to say about it.

wwe smackdown shut your mouth has a good gameplay except the season mode only lasts 2 years but every thing on season mode is brilliant the graphics are good although some of the wrestlers dont loot like the real superstars. Its fun to play and you will never get bored of it. So what are you waiting 4 buy it NOW!

The last game was a disappointment, but they have changed their ways and came up with the best wrestling game I've ever played. The season mode is 100 times better, with real story lines and the RAW/Smackdown! draft, it's increadible. The exibition matches have even more detail and you can unlock new attires for your superstars. If you haven't got it, get it now!

This is an okay game, it is not that great. the season mode is mostly the same and nothing really changes when you talk to people. undertaker is missing his taunt in the beginning too. Kane looks weird and they are missing 3 Minute Warning, Rey Mysterio, Bautista, Tommy Dreamer, Erik Bishoff, The Chairman, Paul Heyman, Chavo Guerrero, Scott Steiner, and some more i forgot. but stil i gave this game an 8 because you can go on the smackdown fist, And the hell in a cell is awesome. the TLC is cool and the create a playeris the best. thus i think this game is good, it can be perfect with a few changes though. it is truly a good wrestling game to buy though. Hint>>> dont listen to the ads there experts playing making it look good, Remember that>>>>

this game is great but it has a cuople of things missng. One is no blood! In all the old games there was blood if u hit the opponet with a wepon. In the last games there has been no blood. but all to get there this game is totlay different from any other wreseling game I have every play and I think it is the best wreseling game every!!

this game was better than jbi, but it too needs improvements such as double team moves on tables, and that you need to be on the top of the table to do moves, and you can't do 3D on a table, or do the double team powerbomb that bubba does off the turnbuckle, and that we can't defend titles against our friends in exibition mode. otherwise this game has improvents such as the graphics and the caw mode, and that we can make 32 superstars.

When i first played this game i was locked into it.But there are a few things i dont like ? like the fact there is no rey rey no paul heyman no eric and worst of all were is big pappa pump.But over all thq have done a good job with this one great gameplay great graphics all the moves are there and the create a wrestler is just getting better but i wish i could challenge my freinds for the belts that would make it better but hats off to thq well done wrestling fans around the world take your hats off and scream hell yeah

The only decent thing about this game is the career mode, and all the story lines are movies which you cant interact with. The exibition modes need serious improvement and the hell in a cell is blue for heaven sake. Creating a wrestler is all right but when it comes to adding the moves its seriously lacking.In the ring it is slow and hard to get into the action. the graphics are crap compared to other games and the entrances are missing some very major taunts like when undertaker comes in on his moterbike he has no taunts at all and the moterbike rides at about 1 mile an hour.As for arenas they look terrible and are hardly 3D!.This game is trying to set atmosphere , its the least realistic wrestling game ever even WWF Warzone was better!Overall this is the worst dam right crappest wrestling game of all time and i even prefer its prequal which was terrible as it was!

Yeah its that dam good oh its true and thats the bottom line. It is by far greater than JBI. But they could have had a create an entrance and a finisher. They could have also had alternet costumes so you aint gotta wear the same thing over and over, and how about create your own seen. If you buy any game this is a great game. But 5 will probablly take the cake.

Im gonna make this short and simple. The graphics in this are great as are the new moves, but what acutally disappointes me most is the story mode. The way they bring in Stephanie and Shawn Micheals twice is just a dissappionting.
Also, I would like to commend THQ and Yukes on finally producing a gap between the hell in the cells!
Tip for next time:
*Include more original storylines, we all dont want to be playing out the same thing we saw on the T.V a couple months ago
*Include Bischoff and Mysterio and Paul Heyman! All should have been there, not just in create a wrestler mode!

After I reviewed the game, I found out it was great. The best part for me is that you can toss people of the hell in a cell. But best of all, you can grab a weapon under the apron from any match. The things that are weird is that they didn't include Bichoff,Mysterio,Scott Hall,or the Dudly boys stable moves. Also if you want to crack a person thruogh a table, you had to stand on the table and do a grapple and that's really gay, because normally they don't do that in real life. Also, you can't crack anyone through the table with any of the dudly boys double team moves such as 3-D. Over all they did a pretty good job on the faces of the wrestlers. The only thing I didn't like about it was the table cracking action and the fact that if you get disqualified, it's you that's laying on the ground when it's your oponent that got severely got hurt at the end of a match movie thinggy. My favorite match type is the TLC, It's got my favorite things, TABLES. Another improvement they should make is that to let you make a original finisher move and also include more entrance moves. I think it was stupid that they even made Kurt Angle an attire with hair. That's all I have to say and I hope they make some improvements on the next Smack Down Moves.

I am not this wwe wrestling fan I used to be simply because of the unbelievable decline in originality, creativity, and all out appeal within wwe story-lines as ouf the last few years. But I can always depend on the video games to to do my own thing and pretty much watch the wwe on my ps2. NOT THIS TIME! The same stupid rediculious story line that makes the wwe the played out brand of sports entertainment it is today, crept out from under the rock of boredome and showed it's eye-watering yawn inthusiating face on my poor poor playstion2. Also, am I the only person alive that atually liked crate a ppv mode? When some people (like me) don't like they way their story mode is going, we like to do our own thing in the exhibition mode and from there make our own paper-views. because if randy orton and tajiri appear in one more of my wrestlemania's I'm gonna flip! I'm not gonna lie, I like the game. It's got a lot to offer. More characters, more matches, more moves... It's by far the best wrestling video game ever made. But at the same time, I feel(as optional as it is) that it's very limited. I want to wrestle with who ever i want in story mode. I want to fight for the title againt my friends in my matches and not just in the story mode. I'd also love it if we could download songs for theme music. but if that's asking for much, at least give us better options. I had and Idea that the music options in create mode have all those song from that wwe cd with every theme music ever made. just a thought! my critique is a 6/10. I guess I just expected more. It's a big let down, But it could be worse, it could've ended up like legends of wrestling.

first off i wana say this game rules how can peole say its bad . Just look at the gameplay,graphics,story-lines and every thing on SYM. When i fist bought this game i expected alot ,and on first trial i was amazed not just but the realliasm of some characters ( expecially booker T) but the story lines are great aswell. Even thoe after 1 year the next year is practicly the same exept for some miner changes.Another great input to this game is the nWo, hulk hogan and of corse R.V.D who has to be the best to play with. But this game does have its down sides such as wheres Stieiner,Bishoff and rey mistero. but all in all this games is fantastic.

When I bought this game I had high expectations towards the story mode and it did not disappoint me. The graphics have improved a bit from Just Bring it, however, some characters such as Kurt angle and Triple H looked better in Just Bring it. Also, another thing that was very annoying were the commentaters. Jr and King always said everything at the wrong times and they didnt talk very much either. When they did talk it was always something not worth putting in the game.. They screwed up on that one. The gameplay has also improved from Just Bring It. Now you cant just counter every move so easily and its more about timing. They added a bit more to the moves which was kind of disappointing. The actual wrestling in the game has room for improvement. You dont always get the same feel of competition because of the difficulty levels. Even on the highest it is still incredibly easy but, I still think they did a much better job then any other wrestling game. The story mode is great, although they could of added a little more story after the first year. Also, everything is sort of one way. No matter what you do usually it will end up with the same outcome or nothing will happen at all. For example: When Ric Flair and Vince fight with 100% ownership, even if Ric Flair loses he will still be there. So overall, good game , many improvements and I cant wait for Smackdown 5.
