As a fan of wrestling for a total of 10 years i have owned nearly every single wrestling based games on nearly every console and i have to admit that the graphics, sound, gameplay, and origiality of Smackdown Shut Your Mouth has given me more hours of pleasure than every other game of this genre have ever given me in the past. nearly all of your senses are stimulated from your eyes wandering around the screen to try and figure out where to pull off the next spectacular move, and your fingers still shaking from the controller after beating your opponent down in the corner, and your ears straining to hear the voices of the wrestlers and terrific entrances. you are so taken into the realistic match experience that after a while you can almost smell the sweat from a grueling iron man match and you can almost taste the mat as your wrsetler is driven into the mat as the undertaker unleashes a tombestone piledriver to finish you off. This game is a must for all wrestling fans and people who dont like wrestling because this is a game where you can fulfill your fantasies by piledriving your mates through a table or frof splashing them from atop a ladder or even a titantron. Right from the realistic storylines to the create a wrestler mode, this game only leaves me to say one thing "I cant wait to smell what THQ and Yukes are Cookin".

Smackdown Shut Your Mouth is by far the best wrestling game out there. The features are far more advanced compared to the games of the past and is a great upgrade compared to Just Bring it. However, there are some things in the game that could be changed. For instance when creating a stable Thq created some of the stupidist tag team entrances,as well as some of the stupidist entrances for a solo entrance. If they are going to have Rey Mysterio's costume in the create mode, then why didn't put his name on the option of the call out list. The original entrance music should contain music of some of the older wrestlers of the past. Blood should be added to give more excitement to the game. I have to admit the story lines are a heck of alot better than those of the past, but it becomes a bit annoying with the continuous battles between Vince and Ric throughout the season. For some odd reason Tripple H looks like crap compared to the Just Bring It version. Some of the entrances look worse compared to the way they did on Just Bring It. For instance Kane's entrance of fire coming out through the four corners of the ring looks fairly cheap looking. They should of given the game an option if a player wants to dispute the wwe title. The women's title is not on there. You should also be given the option if you would like to trade a wrestler or not.
I like the way they upgraded the look of the belts, but if you have two titles you should come out with both and not just one.
The alternate costume option is great and over all the game seems to be in good condition. Although I disagree alot with some of the things on the game, it isn't a bad game and it contains tons of excitment. I recommend it to all wrestling fans.

This game is absolutely gr8, alright the originality is a bit naf but the grafix r gr8, so is the game play and the life span is goin' to last till the next game is out (at least a year or 2) but RVD has got to be THE BEST character on it . I mean after one finisher you can pin the opponant and win HOW EASY IS THAT!!!

I think the game is vey good and very realistic, but wheres the blood? when you attack wrestlers with steel chairs, sledge hammers, kendo sticks ...... they dont bleed! surely you want to make it as real as possible! thats the main problem. Also, the storylines dont change much in story mode. After about a year, its repeated, with little changes made, it gets a bit boring after a while. I hope that these problems have been accounted for, they need to be sorted out before SMACKDOWN 5. PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I read the reviews and sufficed to say I was expecting alot from this game, did it deliver?? Yes it did!!!!!! The graphics are fantastic, better then anything you've seen before. Booker T, Brock Lesner, Triple H are all so life like its scary. The entrances are incredible. They have all the video's and pyro, its like watching the damn show!!!!! There are shed loads of match types, from ur single 2 street fight 2 6 man tag 2 6 man Hell in a Cell!!!!!!!!!!! All are done in amazing detail with realistic blows taken, when u hit them with a chair, the sickening thud, pain and drop are all like the real thing, and they stay down for a decent amount of ttime, unlike previous games.All your superstars moves are there, the Rock and Taker are particularly good in that department as well as RVD, a great asset to this game.A special mention for the slobber knocker mode, you will be beside yourself trying to get the 100 knockouts to unlock the divas movie, which is worth unlocking belive me!!!!! The story mode is superb, it takes real life storylines as well as original ones, the detail and choices u can make are outstanding and is very in depth compared to SmackDown 2, with very little repeating.There's nothing like winning and retaining the Undisputed Title and after matches u can attack the loser, or just walk away in victory instead of the usual cut off with other wrestling games.The faults?? Well theres no Bischoff,Rey, Steiner,Bautista,Cena,Victoria or Nina which doesn't make sense since they have Stephanie McMahon's general manager video and D-Von is the reverend D-Von.The commentary is good but misguided e,g. JR says the Big Show is throwing u around like garbage but ur kicking his ass. There is also no Cole or Tazz commentary which would have added to the realism.Also u cannot pick ur opponent to face u, making it difficult to do SmackDown finishers, still an excellent feature is being able to do ur oppenents finishing move.
Overall this is an excellent game and there is no better out there, the only things are missing wrestlers, no cole & tazz commentary and being unable to pick ur oppenet up to face you.Otherwise this is perfect, SmackDwon 5 will have to go along way to beat this.

People, wake up. If you have the difficulty on easy, you woop the crap out of them. If you leave it on normal, you still beat the crap out of them. And if you put it on hard, they woop the crap out of you. So what's a gamer to do? Make a character that's what. The detail in the character design is so cool. But I finished making my character and then the game got back to being the same old boring thing it was before. This game only offers twenty seconds of enjoyment. That is when you first pop the game into your PS2 and it's loading up. Before you play the game. So you see, you should not even rent this game because it wouldn't be worth the $6 you would spend at your nearest Blockbuster. So save yourself some time and pain and don't rent this game. And whatever you do, don't buy this game!

This game is awesome. There is unlimited fun and action. The Graphics are so cool. You could mistake them for real life. Triple H even spits water, and Kane has the winning explosion at the end. Brock Lesnar, Kevin Nash, Booker T, Goldust, and new superstars are on it. You can preview moves and even have superstars to be created automatically for you. You can leap and cause a bone crunching moonsault off the top of the titantron. You can also ride The Undertakers Motorbike and suplex people off the ladders. You can remove the top pad off the turnbuckle, and fall through and off the hell in a cell. Youn can use the cell to smash your opponent into. Hardcore matches rule. You can blow up cars, smash people into glass, throw them into bins and throw them off 20 foot drops. Sound effects are so cool. I have heard over 20 different sounds atleast. You never get bored of the game, with lumber jack matches and armageddon hell in a cells. This, is a total get game of the year, and I am not easilly amused! So save your cash and buy it!

This game is the bomb it's basically amazing u can't say anything else about it the graphics are great. The backstage places you can go are cool it's better then all the other games but one thing that this game needs more is better commentary cause the one that it has is pretty bad. It's cool once you make yr own superstar. you basically start from the bottom and work your way up getting title shots and giving chair shots to the opponents. it's pretty cool when you talk to someone in the season mode and the divas could never look better;. Other then the commentary this game is the bomb.

I think these is a great game.I think the story mode is awesome. But what about Rey Masterio, Eric bishoff, Paul Hamen, Jamie Nolble, the lovely Nida, Jon Sina, and Dave Bateista? What's up with the Hardy Boyz music? And wheres Mattidude? I don't know why there isn't GMs. When U finish story mode why do the titles go back
to the first person to hold it on the game? Rob Van Dam needs more alfits. Needs a Womens title and to be able to play with the Divas on story mode. U need to be able to go for or defend a title on exibtion mode. U shoud be able to use HBK Shawn Michles on story mode. But besides that stuff the game is great!! can't wait for #5. See U later.

This games rocks. Good points are, you can climb the titantron and leap from the top, put tables in the turnbuckle, blow up cars by bangin superstars heads on it. Walk through the hell in a cell once you have put your opponent through, chuck em off it with a move. Put bins on there head and punch em, and flatten em! This game is cool. The detail on the entire game is magnificent, yo, Eddie Gurreouro looks flippin real life man! Brock lesnar is on it, Goldust, Booker T, and Wicked shaun Micheals! The game spits water, and Booker T does V Spinaroonie! Bad points: The commentry is pretty lame, not enough, and Brock lesnars entrance looks like he has crapped his pants the way he walks, everything else, coooooolllll!

The thing about this game is the realism, unlike smackdown 1,2,3 the wrestlers stay down for a decent amount of time instead of rolling around straight after a chairshot. The womens title isn't on it which sucks, and the females don't wrestler enough plus their should at least be 5 matches per p.p.v! It doesn't take long to load and the story mode is sick, it's like re-living the same thing that happened through out last year! But... if u think this game is cool, wait til WWE CRUSH HOUR is released it is said to be better than the new smackdown (on ps2) and the new raw (on x-box)! U wait and see, but for now I have to admit... DIS GAME IS HEAVY!!!!! Dun 'no'

This is the best wrestling game ever even thought of. I mean can you understand the technology it took to make a game like this. The graphics in this game are like I'm watching a DVD with improvments. It has all the best players and my personal favorite Rob Van Dam( RVD ). The season is like just on TV with the draft and all. This game and how it is set up seems like it should have been invented in 2004. The only down side is that Rey Rey is not in this game, but as you see it still deserves as high as a score as it can get.

I think that statement is obvious, considering that just about every newest game is the "best ever", but Smackdown SYM just blew me away. Here is one example of the awesomeness of this game. I was playing with Kurt Angle and had a finisher available. My opponent kicked at me and I blocked it while hitting L1. Angle turned it into the anklelock! This, along with the outstanding detail and graphics, sold me on SYM.

This is the game every wrestling fan has been waiting for. Like amazing graphics, wicked storylines, plus including the awesome Brock Lesnar. This game is superb hardly any flaws just that some of the wrestlers are missing like Rey Rey but other that that it's just Brilliant. The gameplay is phat.

Overall Smackdown Shut Your Mouth is the greatset wrestling game yet. The graphics and the detail is awesome.the story line is great exept no matter who you are you pretty much do and say the same things. another bad thing is that in season mode the women do not compete in the season mode the womens title is not even in the game other than that it is a good game it is not unrealistic like smackdown 1 or 2 { i have not played 3} your guy actually gets hurt if you get hit in the head with a chair your guy does not get right back up.
