WWE Smackdown is not only the best wrestling game but it is the best out of all the games. it is very very realistic and the moves are great. the season mode is very fun This is easily the best game EVER!

If you expected this game to be like any other, you thought wrong! WWE Smackdown Shut Your Mouth is an original, exciting game. It provides many types of matches- from a basic single match, to hardcore, hell in a cell, and TLC (tables, ladders, chairs) matches. Graphics are next to none with the details for the wrestlers being exteremely good, detailing everything from detailed facial hair to eyeshadow. This adds a touch of realisticness. Wrestlers are able to use their signiture moves and that is always exciting. The commentary from J.R. and the King displays their personalities. Even so, it is not very original and gets quite annoying at times, but still is a great addition to the game. This game offers new things, such as a draft and you can even ride in a subway to go to the World in New York City. The only thing I would change (like many other people) is to add the great highflyer, Rey Mysterio. That would have added so much since he is a very popular superstar. Also I would have changed the fact that when they talked, they didn't talk, it just displayed words. It would have been much better and an even more enjoyable experience if we could really hear the words and not have to read them. Adding those little details would have increased my score of 9 to a very hard earned 10. Overall, this game is very entertaining, interesting, and basically just really cool and would intrest anyone, even if they were not a fan of wrestling.

To give THQ there props the game is so tight but what the F*** is up "The Showstoppa" "The Main Event" "The Icon" Shawn Micheals Why cant you play with him in season mode and whats up with his second attire he is the heartbreak kid not a cowboy im not putting you down THQ but next smackdown please make HBK playable for season mode and make sure he has his hbk outfit those are the best tights ever.... and where is the D-generation X music i want to start a stable with them.. i was a lttile dissapointed but its awesome...excuse me i am going to play it now....Now i will keep you on hold while i play my Sweet Chin Music. Smackdown Shut your mouth is the best game. Although there are three reasons THQ could improve on it. First is the high-flyer, REY MYSTERIO. Hes the new craze, but hes not in the game. Anothere reason is the ppl talking to you in Story mode, U cant hear them, Theres only words. And the last reason is The NWO. If U look there missing one of the NWO members, and one of the most popular one Scott Hall. I gave it an 8 because of the awsome story mode, it follows the real WWE completely with Wrestmania, the awsome graghics and the variety of moves. Great Job!!

If its one thing THQ have proven since they snapped up the WWE licence from Acklaim many moons ago its that they know how to create a wrestling videogame that was more then just simple one dimensional fighting. After setting developers Yukes to work on a WWE game for Playstation one, it was clear that wrestlign fans were in for a treat. The finished result was Smackdown a pixle perfect title that incorporated storylines an impressive career mode and a w3ealth of Superstars to play with. A sequel sooned followed and more then doubled its efforts with more modes and options then you could shake a stick at. So begins the Playstation 2 era despite last years Just bring it being better graphicly its short career mode and superstar roster were not what we the fans had expected. Yukes though knew that to truely give the fans what they wanted they had to do more then just go back to the drawing board they had to build a knew one! WWE shut your mouth is clearly a better game with an updated roster that sees the likes of Rob Van Dam, Booker T, Lance Storm, the Hurricane and even Hollywood Hulk Hogan and Kevin Nash plus many more. What sets this apart from its other titles is the revamped career mode which gives you multiple paths to take your chosen superstar too. Following the brand extension when you start the game you can choose which superstars appear on which show and tailer them to your needs. As well as switch allegiences if the opportunity arises. You can forge friendships with other superstars and challenge for any of the titles that take your fancy. SYM though has you really have to earn it. You must win matches to get points to challenge for the straps. The only letdown is you cant play as the women in season mode. That being said you really find out who your friends are as you bump into variouse superstars backstage and have conversations depending on what you say or do will depend on wether they like or hate you. The hame is very graphicly sound with impressive arenas from Raw. Smackdown to the Pay Per View set ups which every effort has been made to ensure they look like a major event. Each superstar has his /her custom moves and mannerisms and none handle the same. Theres even commentary from Jr and Jerry the King Lawler. The game will take you ages as there are many unlockable items to find and secrets to uncover. lot has been put into the game and it really does show that yukes have done everything to recreate the feel of watching WWE on television. The entrances are 100mpercent right just as you would expect them to be. Each wrestler makes his/her way down to the ring the only way they know how. Albert walks methodiclay down whilst RVD comes down thumbs waving ready for battle the crowd in the palm of his hands. Thats right it seems Yukes have clearly down their homework to get everything right. SYM is one game you wont put down in a hurry as their is so much to keep you playing and the storylines some of which are based on 2002 will keep you hooked as they keep you guessing. WWE SYM is one hell of a game and clearly blows anyother out of the water at the moment and is well worth your attention.

I played a lot of wwe games including the smackdown series, wwe No mercy, wrestlemania 2000 but the one that stands out the most is wwe smackdown shut your mouth. This game has the best graphics than any other wwe game yet and it has new wrestlers like booker t, hulk hogan, rvd, and most of all brock lesnar. Whenever a new wwe game comes out I go nuts and so far this one has gotton me the craziest. The good thing is that it is worth the price. Wwe smackdown shut your mouth is the best wwe game ever IF YA SMELL WHAT THE ROCK IS COOKIN!!

This is by far the best over wrestling game out. I've own all the systems and all wrestling games on them but this is the best all around game from intros to create a wrestler. The story mode is good but it gets repetitve after the first season if you maintain being the champ. There could be some inventiveness on the creators and go off course a little or use past story lines to add more depth to the story mode. The story mode should allow that if you run in and interfer it can create a rivalry with that person. And so on. The exhibition is unlimited and never boring. Except for you should be able to either challenge for belts or be allowed to create your own as in previous games so you can battle with your friends for supremicy. Create a wrestler needs a little, like for instance being able to unlock superstars attire and use them for your created wrestlers. You can unlock them but only for the superstars that's silly. The entrances should be more to the fact it doesn't need so many silly ones, add the real entrances of the superstars since WWE owns pretty everything they can incorporate them into the game instead of the clumsy entrances and them songs we should be able to download theme songs from CD's. The realism in the design and game play is superb even climbing the sets and swanton bombing someone off them is cool. The women need a little more interaction and matches for their own, they do have a title in the real WWE. Submissions should wear down an opponents arm or leg or whatever you are working on them. And Spike shouldn't be able to slam Big Show. Just a couple of tweaks and I'm sure Smackdown 5 will blow us away.

The game was pretty good. The best graphics I have ever seen on a wrestling game. One thing that was bad though was, were's mysterio! He's not on the game, yet all his moves are on the game. The 619 is the move Rey Mysterio invented and the 619 is on the game but no mysterio. Another thing that sucked was that on story mode when people were talking you could not hear them. On Grand Theft Auto and bunch of other games you can hear them talk. Well sometimes they would talk but only on their catch phrases. But their were also many cool things like like create a player. There were more than enought things to but on your person on create a player. Another thing that ruled was the chair moves. You could do a DDT into a chair, a gulitteen into a chair and a Vandaminator. But one of the big factors was the main menu. Just Bring It probelly had the worst main menu ever!Shut your mouth was awesome. But their weren't many movies. On Just Bring It it had behind the scence and a lot more. All and all Smack Shut Your Mouth is worth your money.

I just got this game, actually my first PS2 game. The animation and graphics are the best I've ever seen in any wrestling game, and I have seen tons of them. The create a wrestler is extremely involved and elaborate. The fact that you can determine how far you want your wrestlers eyebrows apart, says it all. But I have a few problems with it. First, there is virutally no "realism" involved. In No Mercy for N64 for example, if you continued to work on your opponents arm, after a while, he'd begin to hold it, and you could make him submit to an arm submission hold. In SDSYM, you can toss a guy OFF of the hell in a cell (which looks cool as hell by the way) ten times, and he'll get right back up. In addition, no blood that I've seen yet. I guess THQ couldn't animate razor blades. The other thing is that there isn't any tecnique to the matches. You need to do too much punching and kicking, not enough ducking/dodging and grappling. It just seems kind of haphazard. I also don't like the hokey bumps the wrestlers take. If a guy really went off of the cell, he'd land like thud or a crash. In SDSYM, they bounce around, quiver and flip forever and a day. It's just too over the top and unauthentic for my taste. I think if THQ could take a step back to there older N64 based wrestling engine, add in all of the cool new stuff, like the updated create a wrestler, killer graphics, gimmick matches and storyline mode, they'd have a winner. Overall, this is a good game. It doesn't live up to the rave reviews I've read (which are what prompted me to leave the sancity of my N64 world and venture into PS2 land), but if you're really into wrestling games as I am, you won't be dissappointed.

this games is very kewl, the only thing that bugs me is hbk can not be used in sotry mode, i have been trying to figure out how to unlock for that if theres a way. someone did tell me that when you win all the belts (exception for lightweight title and wrestler, if your lightweight wrestler, you have to have them all) that it say grandslam champion instead of undisputed champion which when you think about hbk was the first and only grandslam champion so maybe you can unlock him by getting the grandslam champion, if someone unlocks him for season mode, please, please e-mail me, thanx!

I just got this game yesturday and im already through 1 year of the season and have the euro and hardcore title with my created wrestler. this game really is the best wrestling games ever. my idol Shawn Micheals is on it and i even had the honor of being hit by him in my story line. the create a wrestler is awsome and even has the DBZ Super Sayjin Style hair on it. its the only game i play right now and i have 30 games so u know this game has to be great. i give it a 10 outa 10 but i wish i could rate it higher because i would. i dont find anything wrong with some of the wrestlers not being on it because i know they cant have the roster exsact because it changes almost constantly. the story lines follow the show exsactly because i did try with stone cold for a little bit but wanted to use my wrestler in season. the best two wrestlers on that game by far r shawn micheals and rvd. its well worth the 50 dollers. i didnt pay though cuz i got it as an early christmas presant. if u dont have this game yet go and get it. u must have it. just remember, if u dont got this game than ur nothing but a jabroni that needs to just SHUT YOUR MOUTH!!

From the first match you play on shut your mouth, you will instantly notice the obvious improvements over the anti-climax of last year's just bring it! The graphics are much smoother, the gameplay is slower and more luxorious, the characters are not flat and have up to three different attires each to choose from and there are spectacular new moves (with weapons, jumping off the titan-tron, etc.) This is without even playing the fantastic new season mode in which you can take a superstar to the top of the wwe, along the way, going through real wwe storylines of the past year like the nWo invasion, kurt angle losing his hair, etc. The create mode has also been improved and you can now create animations. There are now more than 60 playable superstars to choose from including shawn michaels, rvd, booker t, hulk hogan, kevin nash, etc. and there are also lumberjack and elimination matches and an improved, full sized hell in a cell with a door. There is so much to unlock and do, so it is hard to bore of this game (you can catch the train to times square, have snowball fights, set off fire alarms, explode or drive cars and motorbikes, etc.) Unfortunately, for legal reasons, scott hall and mr. perfect could not be included in the game. Rey mysterio, eric bischoff, batista and john cena were also were not included because they came too recently (although, stephanie mcmahon has her new gm attire). However, shut your mouth is a must buy for all wrestling fans.

The future of gaming has arrived. As if the first ever WWE game (Wrestlemania on the Nintendo Entertainment System) featured Hulk Hogan and his "Real American" entrance theme, and almost 20 years later he is featured again with his original theme. But regarding this game, it is AMAZING... I thought the game could go over 2 years but still, 2 years of storylines is still very awesome. And the amount of things that you can do in this game, is HUGE. Two years of story lines arn't even enough for all that stuff in there. be a true SMACKDOWN gamer, finish the game with every wrestler, even the ref?!!!

I have just got smackdown shut your mouth for christmas and justr can't wait to play it. i log on here and almost everybody is saying that this game is the s#%*#. i like wrestling and my favorite is the rock and and hulk hogan and more. i just can't name them all but those two are it. I enjoy watching wrestling on tv but when they got to the draft i kinda got mad because i can't watch smackdown and most of the best superstars are on there. i can't waite for the next smackdown because since now scott stiner is on raw i really like to play with him. i hope the next one is just like this one only more action.and i know that the rock is not wreslting but i hope he still be on the next one because he is my favorit.so to all my friend out there, shut your mouth his your hook up, holla if ya her me.

I bought my WWe Smackdown 4 game about a month ago. I play this game 24hours a day. I really like the season mode and the Graphics. What I did not like about this game is that there is no Rey Mysterio, Scott Hall, John Cena, Nidia or Jamie Noble. And they story line is not proper. The managers should have been Eric Bishof for Raw and Stephanie Mcmahon for Smackdown. Eric Bishof should have had his two personal wrestlers (Rosie and Jamal). And we should be allowed to put 6-10 people in a stable and we should be allowed to choose from 4-5 Referies who Referie our match. These things can help WWE Games the best.

Almost every superstar today is in there. Plus, the exihibition mode kicks ass! The season is also another detail that rocks this game off the charts. Even though you may have to play it for years, but you'll want to. Half the time you get to pick your own storylines. I would recommened it to anyone on this planet. Even if you don't like wrestling< you can still create your enemy and beat the crap at of them with the create mode. You can litterally create anyone you want. So do you want it?

I can't think of any other game that is better than this! At the beginning of story mode it is April fools day and Stone Cold will stun either Vince or Ric Flair. You can get d-von's dudley boy suit and reverand suit. Some of the new wrestlers in the game are RVD, Brock, Booker T, Goldust, Maven etc. There are now better matches than ever- elimination,Armageddon Hell in a cell etc. You can't get Maven's tough enough music but you can get his entrance movie. HHH makes his big return at Armageddon and he announces to the Undisputed champion that he will be in the Royal Rumble.

I must admit I thought just bring it! was a complete disater but when I heared about Shut You Mouth! I knew I was in for a ride!wooo! Its got everything from elimination matches to snow ball fights, this is a must buy game. There is so much to unlock and its not just the moves parts and arenas, it includes attires and video clips too.
Also its got one of the up to date rosters yet. Including Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Brock Lesnar, Goldust, Booker T, Rob Van Dam and many more. The gameplay is great and theres so much to do including an amazing create mode allowing you to make pratically anyone from Brad Pitt to your own family member. You can morph faces into any shape or size. Theres a animation section to it were you can create you winning move, walking and running stance and a taunt as well.
The in depth story mode includes many features that are on the televison like the nWo invason, wwe draft, Angle gettin his hair shaved off, Hogan turning from the nWo, Flair's and Vince's rivalry over complete ownership and many more. One of my personal favourites is the hair shaving. What ever superstar you are you will never be able to complete it in one season because their is so much to unlock.
This is a must buy game so i'll shut my mouth so you can get to the shops and buy this game!
