Once upon a time a wrestling game series called Smackdown! came out. It started as 'WWF' and now is known as 'WWE' and I have got WWE Smackdown!: Shut your mouth. I had all of the previous games too. This one, however, is spectacular! Do you think i'm just saying this because this is a 'comments section'..? No way! I am telling the truth!!! Smackdown! SYM is AMAZING!!! I've already gone through 2 years of the career mode and it's awesome! The new costumes, new arenas, new characters... all AMAZING! I strongly recommend you all buying this game. Even if you aren't the greatest of wrestling fans... i'm damn sure you will enjoy this! A superb beat 'em up with WWE superstars! By far the BEST game I have ever played. That's right, I said "BEST GAME EVER" and I mean it. I understand everyone has their own opinion on games but this one you don't need an opinion... instead of "Just bring it"... JUST PLAY IT!!! See for yourselves! In Create mode you can also listen to the Entrance music and watch the superstars videos. Cool! Oh yes, it's also got Hulk Hogan's 'Real American' theme in there!!!! EXCELLENT!

This is the best smackdown game ever. I have all the earlier three smackdowns but I have to say that SYM is great, but there are something wrong with the game. One of this thing are that Ray isn't in the game. Another things is in the CAW if you make a female you can't put a design on a shirt that she is wearing so all you have is a blan shirt. Also the fact that there is no womens belt in the game. The finally thing that I dislike about it is that there is no Blood in it, Why?. The create a animation is a unique thing to have, and it allows you to custumize your created wrestler more to your liking. I love the fact that THQ was able to put all of the real music in the game, like Edge has Never going to stop by Rob Zombie, and all the others. All the new things that thay added like the weapon grapples kick butt. The CAW is the best CAW in a wrestling game. I love the fact that you can decide if your created wrestler is a Heel or Face. One of the coolest things in the game is the fect that one some arenas you can dive of the enterences, like the fist on Smackdown or the gient chair in the King of the Ring arena.

i am a prety big wrestling fan but i found a few couldve beeen better mistakes. i love all the different matchtypes and characters! but create mode isntall that great there isnt enough clothes or in all parts. the fighting is amazing and incredibly fast the entrances rock!! they couldve made the musik more up to date but it is still good. i love this game and cant put it down or stop in the awsome story mode! in overall its the best game so far go get it or dont have any fun on other crappy smackdown games, its really cool!

This game is awesome. I never seen a wwe/wwf game better than this. The only thing bad about it is there is no blood, other than that the game is perfect the graphics are...well lets say no mistakes. The gameplay is very cool! I like that in season mode the characters are much more challenging. They atleast fight back but it is not to hard...for me. There is a lot more things you can do like combos and different things you can do with the ladders/tabels/chairs/even weapon specials. They are cool/and you can jump off of the titantrons. I like the sound of it, its sweet! The roster is up to date.If you do not have this game you are missing out on alot so what are you waiting for get up and go buy it!!!

I just purchased this game a week ago, and I was impressed. K-Mart was the only place I could find it. The season mode is the best thing about the game. It goes on for two years, and you can talk to many superstars in the hallways and stuff. For example, I talked to Debra, and And she went to get me her cookies that she makes. Until Austin came. I never got the cookies. They have all the belts except the Woman's, but that's no biggie, because I hardly play with the women. The only thing that bothered me was that they didn't have Maven's theme song. I like that song. But oh well, it's all good. I'm just curious about how they are going to top this. I haven't stopped playing. My friends are mad at me because I play it all the time instead of hanging out with them. It will be a long time before I get tired of it, if I even do. I can't see that happening. I would strongly reccommend this game. My favorite used to me No Mercy for 64, but this is 10 times better than that. Seriously, buy the game. You won't regret it.

This game is amazing, you can do more on smackdown shut your mouth then the 3 previous games put together. It seems to be mixture of all 3 previous plus alot more in one. You watch other matches, interfer in other matches, walk around backstage, talk to other WWE superstars, have big fueds with WWE superstars. This game is spectacular. The only bad thing I don't like is the create a wrestler mode.

This game has to be better than all of the Smackdowns! combined. This has good graphics and the best storyline. You can see Kurt Angle bald in this because Edge shaves his head! They have all the up to date chacters like Brock. The fun factor is great and you might play this game more than GTA:VC. I mean this game is better than all the wrestle games out now.

With the season mode that never ends and you can piss sp many ppl of it is clase. with the CAW more easier to use and can do move stuff to the guys. the stuff you can unlock is cool. i rented it for 3 days and after i played it i will be getting it next friday. one clase game a mix of Smackdown Just bring it and Smackdown Know your role

This game is the history of all smack down games but honestly take tripple H off the freakin box this is not just my opinon when i say HHH sucks he truly sucks a**,tripple h is the man who ruined WWE Mic Foley wont even return because of that Katie vic thing he made wwe's ratings go way down,but the game is still the best ,the best graphics,and gameplay but season mode is still gay you season mode fans are ass clowns ,i shouldnt be complaining about much but wheres the "Mattitude"?! i thought the game creators would be filled with Mattitude but they werent so now Matt Hardy will not be at Version 1 untill the next Smackdown thats basicly all this game needs now is a dose of Mattitude.

this game is the best game i have ever played in my life it is so lifelike. The way you go off the ladders and through tables is amazing. if you are a wrestling fan buy this game fast. I have to say that this game is ten times better than any other wrestling game i have ever played in my life in fact ten times better than ANY game i have ever played it is amazing.

I waited and waited for Smackdown4 to come out, i left school early to go buy it and it was one of the smartest choices i ever made. The game itself is great but needs a little bit more...maybe some BLOOD for once, codes for old wrestlers like the ultimate warrior, the womens belt, different outfits for the wrestlers....ex, Hulks oldest outfit to NWO to now....that would be decent...but all and all, the game is great!

Almost Perfect! The new version of Smackdown offers an incredible story mode and tons of better ways to wrestle. The create-a-wrestler has been unpgraded. Its easier than ever to perform finishers, and tag matches are very fun now that you can summon your opponent into the ring. Almost all the wrestlers are accurately animated. Its a bummer that the backgrounds resemble something from the PS one. Despite the poor commentary by JR, this is the most complete game ever. You'll fall in love with this game's diverse features. It is the best wrestling game on any platform today.

Apon purchase i spanned over the back of the case and immediatley i could see the graphical changes that have occured. New sweat and blood graphics give you the feeling these wrestlers are in-fact real. The actual game itself has a wide range of game options including tlc and lumber jack matches which will mean you will be playing this for ages before you can say you have experienced the ful package. New and improved gameplay also gives you the impression that the wrestlers you are controling are fighting on your screen. Moves actually give realistic damage whereas previous games have seen wrestlers recovering seconds after becoming the victim of a Smackdown move. Weapons have also been improved with them becoming more interactive, a personal favorite is being able to set a table up in the corner of the ring only to throw an oppenent through. And get this even the smallest tap knocks out the ref, sounds like the real thing!!! A must have game of the year.

This game is makes the superb wrestling gameplay aspect almost secondary to it's creativity of story and fun.
GRAPHICS: are superb and the intros are captured perfectly to give the game a real venue appeal. The player models are well done. I'm not sure what's wrong with the female characters, they look funny around the eyes. And I don't care about How bad the crowd is, I didn't buy it for the crowd.
CAW: I AM HOOKED LIKE A BAD DRUG. The CAW is so in depth I was able to create The Hulk and he towers even the The 7'2 characters, forgive the pun but it's "Incredible". I can spend hours on this alone, there are masks and paints of movie characters and super heroes, that gives you unlimited possibilities of created wrestlers.
GAMEPLAY: There are excellent movie angles for moves that makes this game a joy to watch as you play, the button configuration hasn't changed much from the older SDs and is simple for new players to pick up. With the multiple unlockables spread out between venues I can imagine playing season after season. I also think the collision control is well done so you can actually miss moves and get caught if you tried something to early.
SOUND: Good thing I don't mind the music otherwise I can see how this would be annoying. The sound on this game is the worst thing on the game otherwise I would think it's perfect. It's still a 10 to me but you can't give a game a 10 if there is a huge gap in quality like in this area. The commentary is okay, but doesn't seem as intelligent as like football games. Due to the speed of the games I doubt it will ever will be. I also think with WWE owning most of the wrestling world you would think they have rights to old time wrestler names to be used in the CAW, for the announcers to say. It's hard to blame the game itself for the sound since console technology is probably the reason for this area of mediocrity.
This game is hard to put down, & If I didn't have responsibilities Smackdown SYM would all I'd be doing 24/7

finally, smackdown 4 has come back to the playstation 2. Anyways, people this is the best game ever. The graphics are so cool. sometimes i think im watching t.v. the new roster is the bomb. there are new superstars such as Brock Lesnar, Booker T, DDP, and Goldust. the bad thing about the rosters is that Rey Mysterio isn't in the game. the season mode has greatly improved, unlike Just Bring It!, this one has improved a lot. the graphics are so damn good!!! you could also change your players suits instead of sticking with the same one over and over again. the hell in a cell match also looks like the real thing. there are also new matches such as elimination tag. so if your a wrestling fan or just a playstation 2 gamer, you've got to get this game today. all i want to say is THANK YOU THQ and for the people Shut Your Mouth!!!

Smackdown! Shut Your Mouth is the best game I have ever seen for any console!! The plusses are the great gameplay and control, the smoothly executed moves, and all of the upgrades that the last game did not touch on!! Like the upgraded Hell in a Cell match!! That is actually like the real thing "FINALLY"!! The upgraded create a wrestler mode touches on more than all three of of the other Smackdowns combined! And one thing that other gamers probably would not appreciate but is in there, is the new create an animation mode!! You can create all new stuff like the way you walk to what you do when you win!! This new installment of WWE Smackdown! Is a must for avid wrestling and gaming fan!

This game had all you could ask for in a wrestling game. I do wish Rey Mysterio was in it but what can you do.The game play is excellent and I love that you can reverse finishers. The entences look so realistic. I can't get enough of it. What's up with Jeff Hardy and Tajiri's entrence music. I can't wait till the next Smackdown game!! I bought before I even played cause I knew that THQ would make one hell of a game!

I think, no I know that WWE SMACKDOWN'S SHUT YOUR MOUTH is the best game out there because when I bought the game I was like WOW. There is every wrestler in the game from ALBERT to X-PAC. The graphics and wrestlers look alike, act alike, and even move like if it was on tv. The bad things are that some wrestlers aren't included like SCOTT HALL, and REY MESTERIO, but other than that, the game is awesome. What I like about the game is that like if you were'nt playing it, it's like if your watching it. For example, if you hit your aponnent with a weapon, they'll stay in the ground for a while. Also before when the PPV's begin in the season mode, fireworks come out. I'm telling you, if you haven't got the game yet, oh man, you don't know what you're missing.
