I am a fan of all the previous Spyro games and have bought them for PS 1 and GBA. I expected a better game for the PS 2. I was very disappointed to find it not quite right. Fewer characters than I expected, and I miss the challenges from Sgt. Byrd and Agent 9. Please bring them back in the next game. I assume there will be a next game?????? Perhaps a quick review of the first couple will help define the next game strategy. A few more challenges and bring back the old friends. Add more worlds and more "hidden" areas, they are fun to find. I would have been more impressed to find alien characters to battle and possibly even alien landscapes. Now there is an idea. Why not combine a Spyro game and a Crash Bandicoot game and have it set in a different world. Kinda of like a mega game with all our favorite characters rolled into one big game. More bosses to beat and lots more mini challenges too. Oh yeah, and go back to Insomniac making the games, they did a better job.

OMG! i thought this was gonna b another brilliant game frm spyro! but when i played it i was bored as soon as i completed dragonfly dojo! i know a lot of people say the graphics were good but i dont think so it looks like spyros ill or something hes a darker purple in the playstation games! and where are is friends frm spyro3! **bianca, sheila, agent 9, the penguin??** AND how comes zoe the fairy ain't init anymore! i also did not enjoy the foreverlasting loading u didnt know if it had hit a glitch or not and that reminds me GLITCHES!!! this game was a real dissapointment. and also why is RIPTO the boss! r u to stupid to create a new boss! cos there wasnt even an explanation of why he was still alive! i defeated them in spyro2! i also DESPISE the new breaths a new breath for different things i have to go through all the breaths and it takes forever! and sparks doesnt have any levels himself. and there is only 1 world. THE dragon world has no dragons except one that appears and reappears!

After I played the Spyro Playstation 1 games I wondered if they had a Playstation 2 game for Spyro.I went shopping and there it was.Spyro:Enter the Dragonfly for PS2.I bought it and as soon as I got home I started playing it.Spyro kinda looks different and he breaths fire from his mouth.Spyro can also breath bubbles,ice and electric(lightning).You can ride tanks,planes,UFO'S and Hunters pet Mantaray from Spyro 2 and 3.Ripto from Spyro 2 is back and he has stole the baby dragonflies from the Dragon Realms and it's up to Spyro.Sparx the Dragonfly gives hints instead of Zoe the Fairy.Spyro jumps on platforms instead of walking into portals.The Speedways are fun.when you get a rune from Luau Island and put it in the Dragon Sprit press L2 and R2 you get a wing sheild.Thank you to Universal Interactive and VU games and Wal-Mart

I have Spyro:Year of the Dragon and it was fun.But then I got sick,tired and bored.My Dad bought me a PS2 but I had no games for it.Then I went to Wal-Mart for video game shopping and then I saw Spyro:Enter the Dragonfly.I begged my aunt to buy it and she did.When I got home and I started playing it.Spyro kinda looks different and he breathes fire from his mouth.But he can also breath bubbles,ice and electric(lightning).My favourite Level is Cloud 9.I hate Ripto.He is stupid to steal dragonflys.The Vibration feels cool when I do a Headbash.I like the Wingshield.It's kinda weird how spyro hovers and he dosen't really look purple like in the PS1 versions of the game.Curse you people who hate this game.Take my advice.BUY THIS GAME!!!

I think the game is pretty good but whats with those speedways?! They're IMPOSSIBLE! Also Spyro was harder to move. Some of those challanges are just plain aweful. THINK OF SOMETHING BETTER! If anyone has ANY advice on those speedways, e-mail me or something. And whats with the dragonflys? When you try to catch them they just fly away on you! It gets REALLY annoying when your trying to catch them and they just leave! Whats up with that? And the camera angles get kinda annoying sometimes cuz they will just switch making it a little hard to see what you're doing. FIX THEM! And whats with trying to kill the boss? You get there and have no clue what to even do! Sprax should at least tell you what to do or something. I like a challange but some of these are just a little impossible in some ways... Insomniac PLEASE come back!

I've been playing the game for some timee now, and som of the challenges are almost impossible. An example is the races at the Speedways (racing the Riptoc's and thieve's). I just can't finnish the Speedways because of the flying riptoc and thief races.
And when it come's to catching the damn dragonflies, now that's really getting on my nerves. It's exactly like th other games...In the first game you collect egg's, in the second game you collect orbs, don't know what you do in the third, haven't played it and now you collect dragonflies... So if you are going to make another Spyro game PLEASE come up with something new!!! (Because I loooved the first and the second game!!! They were brilliant!!!) Why cant't you make Spyro bigger, with better flame breath and the flying ability? Now that would have been a GREAT Spyro game!!!

The first spyro i ever played was the orrignal for the plastation. I thought it was good in the gameplay and story area. I liked it so i bought more of them and more of them. And i liked the game to a point where i couldnt let anyone do better than me. I was almost obbsesed with it.Ive only beat one out of all of them but i love playing the game and i like the way it lists your percentage throughout the game. I like how in enter the dragonfly you get new abilities and are able to breath different elements. There are alot of aspects of the game that take in order for me to get into it. I like the fact that you can wander around and collect gems and take on challenges at your own pace and will. When i start a spyro game Its like i cant quit and im stuck on it untill i beat it. Ive been playing spyro since i was little and i thought it was really cool that they made a purple dragon that could fly and spray people with fire. The graphics i definitly think are good for a game that has went so far.

I am a Spyro lover, and probably always will be. However, this game was a let down. There were things that were almost impossible and things that were incredibly easy. Where's the consistency? In addition, the glitches in the game really sucked. Many times I was "stuck" and simply could not move (my controller was working fine though). I had to exit the level and start from scratch. How frustrating!!!! I haven't gotten through the entire game, so I don't know about the overall length. But, I do know each board seems way too large and lengthy. Catching the fire-flies is somewhat difficult. I found that standing as close as possible without them running away, jumping at them, and blowing bubbles works really well to catch them, especially the pesky green ones. Another issue I have with the game is how secret levels have to be played numerous times to collect all the dragon flies. How boring and annoying. It's a shame the game overall it not better. The graphics are great.

Ok the graffics in this game are good but sparks is rubbish he dosen't look the same the souned is good and the gameplay is good it's cool the way you don't just breth fire but WATER ICE AND BUBBLES this is dead cool no game is that cool i also like Crash bandicoot,The Lord Of The rings,Spyro and jak and dexter plus ratchat and clank.Well maby i should do one of these on the lord of the rings, jak and dexter oh and maby ratchat and clank well maby two or all ofg em whate do you think. Spyro the dragon fly must be the gratest Spyro game evere made in the world i hope they mack another Spyro game and then another and another and another until six or more is in the can. Hunter is another guy who looks funny well diffrent than he used to Spyro looks better than he used to do hmmmm but he dosen't roll over like in Spyro 1 and he dosent walk the same

First Spyro game i ever played. it was for gamecube so the loading only took a few seconds. graphics were great. the fighting stunk! you would hit them and they'd go ohwoowoowoowoo or hehohehehe. REAL GLITCHY! sparx could really get annoying sometimes, and the gems seem worthless. but overall, great game!

I can't believe how horrid this so called "game" was, i nearly fell of my chair with boredom. Yeah the little shows were fun, but where was those highly advanced levels and the secret passages? Where was all those amazing and hillarious characters? Who is running these games? The king of boring land? Plus, why did I not get to play several different bosses? HELLO! Do you want me to spell it out for you? I sure am glad i rented this game from the video store

Uggghhhh. . .What are those monkeys doing in the DRAGON Worlds?
They should have edited out all those hillbillies from the Honey Marsh and made the levels more bigger, more magical, and with more friggin Dragons to talk to.
And they should have made more levels and worlds, and the whole Rune bit was pathetc, there was no awesome effects once you had out the damn thing in the Dragon Spirit, and the runes were too goddamn easy to find.
The only levels that didin't suck were the Dragonfly Dojo and Cloud Nine.
Plus the Dragons you actually get to talk to either dissapear or repeat the same thing all over again once you talk to them.
I want more mystical, beautiful, free-roaming worlds and levels here, and the characters look to repetitive when talking.
You should have had to go to a temple to find the Dragon Spirit, and other temples to complete a test to see if you were worthy enough to hold the rune.
Plus there should have been more magic. And maybe the option to hed into different villages the Dragons live in or something, and maybe even add the Forgotten Worlds to the Dragon Map.
AND MORE BABY DRAGONS AND FULL-GROWN DRAGONS, I ALREDY MENTIONED THIS BUT WHAT THE HELL!
And as a final note, it didn't even say how Ripto survived the last encounter with Spyro. Goddammit, I can make a better game than this. . .practically the only good thing about this game is the graphics.

When I found out that Spyro was coming out for the PS2 I was overjoyed. And as I grudge paying 35 pounds or so I do tend to wait. I've had the game for four days and I'm at 92% completed.
Some parts are ridiculously easy and other's are nigh on impossible (Everyone thinking of the floating platforms on monkey monastary?). It's buggy and in it's entirety seems rushed off. Graphics have made everything shiny which I don't particulary like. Long load time' are fustrating, Spyro saying "Hey it's ..." is fustrating, the fact that when you knock a rhinoc off the edge you have a 50/50 chance of getting the gem it had is anoying. And the game just seems short.
In summary could have been better if they'd taken time on it. Like sufficient games testing and checking they've given all the dragonflies the correct descriptions in the Atlas.

this game ws great for me because of how many glitches I found. 1. In luaui island after you charge out of water you keep swimming in air and can go out gates to the main center to choose where to go.2. the gate that requires ice breath is useless because all you have to do is charge at the lock and you will ge through.P.S. AMERICA SUCKS DAMN REDNECKEd FOOLS.

Universal messed up big time on this game. The graphics are top notch but the game-play could really be better. Some parts of the games seem impossible while others I swear my 1 year old cousin could do. It's much to short and very glitchy. The loading time take between 2 minutes and 45 seconds to up to 5 minutes! That's freaking insane! Catching the dragonflies is really stupid, annoying and kind of hard. I mean you catch them with bubbles! The game is glitchy when he walks but is normal when he charges. This game is nothing like the other Spyro games that we all love so much. The really only other good things are ice skating lol, ice breath [I don't even know why he has electricity breath!?!], and him being able to make a shield using his wings! - I can't tell you to get it or not, but If I were anybody who wants it I would wait to see if they come out with a better version of the same game.

i havent played any of the other spyro games, but i think this one was pretty kool! it was lots of fun, and the graphic were pretty good. I had some trouble with it freezing,and sypro not movig, but that was it. I thought it was fun, and challenging. great game, but then i like anything to do with dragons so yea.

First of all, it's too short. There should be at least 4 home worlds, and only 6 dragonflies and 400 treasure in each portal. And it's too hard! I can't steer Spyro in the Speedways, and when he turns, he makes a big circle move, so if you're stuck on an edge, he'll fall off. There's too many glitches. Today, my game froze! And I hardly ever saw Hunter, Moneybags, or Bianca. Where were they the whole time? Also, Zoe isn't there much either. And you know what else I just found out? INSOMNIAC DIDN'T MAKE THE GAME! Isn't that STUPID! I really don't like the game.

well let me see the only good thing was the graphics really. everything else was rubbish it was too slow, not enough character interaction, since when do people survive falling into lava if spyro can't then ripto can't either, so either they didn't have enough money to do this game, nope hang on it all went on the graphics, not enough levels ONLY 9 all the last games had tones of levels. heres a hint if you going to do another game check out what the problems in the first ones were and improve them not ruin them. what about sparx how come he got no levels (after all they were his friends), it was hardly any fun, each level was too long, the music was awful and mine like so many others kept on crashing, and there were so many glitches, taking up to 5mins to load each level. etc etc etc please recall them and sort it out or else we'll campain for someone else to do another spyro cause you guys (universal and its Innomics fault for doing so) have destroyed so many fans.

I didn't really like this game at all. I hate how you have to catch those dragonflies. I think that this was the worst game yet. 2 of the older games were fun, challenging, and looked nice. This game's graphics were not all that good. You don't riqueshay (pronounced rick-uh-shay) off those walls as much anymore. And those stones, I did not like having different breaths. Spyro is a DRAGON. Not some kind of wonder thing that can electicute, freeze, and burn you all at the same time. This is rather pathetic. I don't recommend this game to anyone who's played the old Playstation games.
