DDR Drops The Bomb on PS2 |
| A gamer from Dallas, Texas says (26/Jul/2005): |
Ever since I got DanceDanceRevolation, I have dancing to the songs everyday for the past month. Before I got this game, i didn't have very good edurance and reacting time. Just in this past month I have went getting a D on Remember You (I have Max 1,2, and Extreme, but Max 1 is my favorite) to getting a AA on some of the more challenging Songs like Love That Feeling and Gentle Stress on Standard. This amazing game also features a great workout mode if you want to...well, work out. This is also a favorite with my friend when I go to party. My only complaint is that the songs can be very similar and therefore repetative. But trust me this game is well worth its value and you can really impress people if you get good :) so Peace Out

DDR! DDR! DDR! DDR! DDR! |
| Mike Valdez from NY, USA says (12/May/2005): |
This game is the greatest game in the universe, I mean, whoever made this is the man. I love when I go to the Mall with my friends and play DDR {that's about 4 times tops} I play the ledgend of max on heavy and Break down half way through it, things like this make people want to quit but you just CAN'T STOP PLAYING until you aced it or higher. Friends told me alot of ways to unlock the song "Drop the Bomb Remix", like AA every song, but all you have to do is like play game mode songs like a million times, not a million but ALOT.Ive almost unlocked all songs but I dont know how to get " Silent Hill",I've got an aa on one song thats "sandstorm", but my absolute favorite son is "Matsuri Japan ." I play DDR everyday and propably always will.

Put that controller down! |
| Joe "Eskie" C. says (18/Mar/2005): |
pfff, just like soccer, who needs hands? This game rocks my socks, literally. For all of you who dont think this game is worth picking up, i can honestly say it has improved my reaction time noticably and it never hurts for when youre trying to impress people *hint hint*.
The only bad side is it gets REALLY repetitive. All i have is max2 and since im between paychecks, I started playing DWI (Dance with Intensity, fan-made computer version). But this game easily can get 8 out of 10. Yeah, thats right, this game is O-ver-ra-ted, but definitely worth getting.

This game is DanceDanceRevolutionary! |
| A gamer from Minnesota,USA says (8/Mar/2005): |
Greetings, I am a 15 yeard old DanceDanceRevolutionary. I own KONOMIX,MAX,MAX2, and Extreme(although I don't play KONOMIX)I have to say that DDR:MAX has some of my favorite songs(candy and rhythem&police to name a few). If you don't have DDR, get it(and red octane ignition pads) and start dancing. Not only is the game fun and addictive, but it is also very good exersise, especially once you get better. On the harder songs your feet can be going close to eighty-bajillion-million miles an hour(or so it seems) and that means extreme aerobic workout. Heck, the game even has a workout mode built right into it that allows you to track calorie loss. and if you get good, I can safely say that the feeling you get the first time that you are the best guy in the arcade is just amazing( like the time i "stole" a group of about 20 people from the pump it up machine to come watch me AA paranoia evo on standard, who then proceded to applaude and cheer) To acheive a dream like this, you need the right tools, and the right tools are a tv, a dance mat, a PS2, and a copy of DDR:MAX.

2nd best one yet! |
| A gamer says (5/Feb/2005): |
Hi, i am 11 and i have been playing for 7 months now. I love it! I can AAA MAX 300 on standard and AA it on heavy. I have AAA every song on heavy except MAX 300 and Graduis Cyborg. I only get like 3 greats on Graduis and like 1 great on heavy, i am so close to AAA everything! P.S. Yes, i have AAA Max Period before, but that is not on this game. I have AAA Everything in DDR but The Legend Of MAX, MAX 300, Graduis Cyborg, MAXX Unlimited, and Twilight Zone. This is the best game, but the better one i DDR Extreme (Japanese Import, not the crappy american one!)

DDR is SOOOOOOO COOOOOOOOLLLLLL!!! |
| StARgaZeR from Los Angeles, California, USA says (30/Nov/2004): |
If you have never played DDR before, all I can say is..... ARE YOU INSANE?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! DDR IS THE BEST!!! Though I'm getting really good at it, Ecstacy is still my favorite!:P I can't STAND Remember You or Era because there isn't any rhythm or beat. Plus, there ain't no ARROWS!! (well some, BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN!!!) I also like sandstorm, candy, and midnight blaze. No, I haven't even gotten to standard on ordinary world,:( but I went from cutie chaser to ecstcy in only ONE NIGHT!!! I'm really improving and I hope you do, too!:)

DDR IS THE BOMB!!! |
| Olivia from Pittsburgh,Pa says (11/Nov/2004): |
Im an 11 year old girl and i think that DDR is the bomb! I play it every day! I own DDR max2 and DDR extreme. I love playing on challenge mode and heavy mode. thats the best. I have gotten a AAA before. I can get a AA on dream a dream on Heavy mode. One of my favorite songs on DDR2 is Dive on heavy mode. I think that DDR extreme is better set up and easier to play than any of the other games. but the other games have cooler songs. I love how you can now choose a charachter to play as! thats pretty sweeeeeet !! :)

I heart this game!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
| JeSuS WaLkS from HIghwood, Il USA says (24/Oct/2004): |
This game is AWSOME!!! I own all three games including the new DDR extreme. I hope Konami makes new games and puts them out soon. But I would loive it if theyu make an AMERICAN mix like they did with the EURO mix. You know, put songs that american DDR players vote for and put thenm in an all american DDR game. But this is only a dream. Well...... DDR is awsome and I became the most popular freshman at school thanks to it, You see I took DDR Max2 for a school charity drive, but no one dared to play it so i got up there and plyed DOUBLE MODE and everyone watched me play and now everytime im in the hall, people are always complementing me on how well i danced (got a AA in DREAM A DREAM in HEAVY MODE). So if the makers of DDR read this, THAX ALLOT!!!!!!!!!!!!! : )

| Hseinko from Tokyo,Japan says (6/Oct/2004): |
AWESOME GAME!!! Ok I own DDRMAX DDRMAX2 and DDR Extreme they are so awesome and I used ot think video games were kind of boring and then i played this game at the arcade and its almost like your not polaying a video game.if that made sense then take my advice and buy this game if you have playstation 1 or 2!!!!!!!!! OK OK sorry im hyper and DDRMAX RULES!!!!!!!!!!!!-healing vision and Rythm and Police are the best! This game has better osngs than the first but the second one definitley has a better variety and this one has good graphics, not great, but thats how i like it because the better graphics are to distracting and hurt my eyes. I recomend this game to people who are ....potatoe couches...oh couch potatoes HAHA! anyway play this game youll love and if you dont i find you sort of weird.

Eh, it's kinda a waste |
| Disappointed DDR from Seattle WA,USA says (23/Sep/2004): |
Pointless American 80's songs, the Japanese music is seriously abscent. 65 songs most garbage, missing is the real fun ones. Yeah it's the same jump when the arrow connects... but i play arcade ddr for Japanese music/dances ,Not Duran Duran. Looks like a loser working on Kareoke rev got lazy and plugged all the songs on here. Wheres little bitch? Wheres Butterfly? The favs. Long gone and only in Japan. Here we have a tailored to USA tastes...but who in the US's tastes wants these crappy songs...the Neverending Story? Heh nuff said... A Waste.

| Matt from Calgary,Alberta says (14/Sep/2004): |

Viva DDR! |
| Yukiko says (5/Jun/2004): |
I love DanceDanceRevolution! This game is a lot of fun. You can choose some lovely songs you like and enjoy dancing to them. Once I start dancing, I can't stop. In addition to that, you can see how quickly you're improving as you're getting used to DDR. The game has five levels; beginner, light, standard, heavy, and "oni" mode. The more your level goes up, the more you'll be into it. Last but not least, DDR is good exercise. You will be sweating after playing the game. I've lost ten pounds since I started the game. DDR is awesome!

DDR is the best! |
| Bree from Dublin, Ohio says (1/Jun/2004): |
I started playing DDR when I had just turned 14. I met this kid over the summer who was gonna be at my school the next year. Some older guy, and I always heard him talking about this game, and i had NO idea what it was. so he invited me over his house and showed me what it was. i had never seen it before and i was amazed to how good he played it. He tought me how to play and at first i was horrible. Then i got my own game. i weighted 159 and im 15 and i weigh 130. I feel way better about myself and i have been getting soooo much bettter and still am trying to improve- theres always room for improvement! yah ROCK ON! good luck with ddr...

Show me your moves!! |
| DDR Master - Raven from AL, Usa says (15/May/2004): |
Well if this game isn't the best none of them are. Ifirst saw this game in a bowling place it was aswome just looking at it made me play it. Later on I heard it was on PS2 I got it immedetly. My friend and I sucked at the start but now it's like were the best at the mall. tip to those who wish to lose wieght buy this game and a Red Ocane Ignition pad 2.0 [ $100 for pad its well worth it though] most of the konami ped mess up in about a few months if tour a hard core dancer I was 12 when I started 115 lbs and now 13 playing heavy AA's or A's 98 lbs
Bottom line DDR like Manga and Anime Will rule this century
tip: beginners never give up soon u will be able to look at anyone and say U WANNA D-D-R
please dont send bad emails

Really fun |
| MayT from Toronto, Canada says (8/May/2004): |
I first played this game at a friend's party and I was really surprised I did. I weigh like 270 pounds but there I was killing everyone in the game, even all my tiny asian friends lol. Anyway, the next christmas I ensured I got a ps2 and DDR max and max 2 as presents. I bought two of the soft dance pads and the only complaint i have is that the dance pads can wear out (which can be annoying when you're going for a full combo)... so, there's no doubt: you HAVE to get this game, but you should consider buying some more expensive metal pads 'cause they're probably alot more durable.
BUY THIS GAME lol... or you can rent it first just to see if you like it...

DDRs the bomb! |
| Rachel from Anchorage,AK USA says (30/Jan/2004): |

Taken The World Like A DDR Storm! |
| Matt Stumbo from Springfield, OH, USA says (20/Jan/2004): |
DDR, exercise for gamers. That it is too. Whenever I play, I still look back on my first time stepping up on the stage. My fingers ached and my ankles cramped... The big screen and the loud speakers struck fear into me. But all that was left behind when my feet started moving to the arrows. Left, right, up, and down... My feet just moved to the music. And ever since that day, I would go to Putt Putt and play for 5 hours straight. 6'4", 250lbs... And I was making people clap to my tricking. I've been in tournaments and such and I still can't get enough of this game. I'm 17 and I started back in June. I am a DDRer. The game is addicting, but the exercise helps ALOT. The game has built a following and that following knows why the game is good. We know exactly why. Now let's D-D-R!!!

DDR |
| Jake from Lakewood, California (US) says (30/Dec/2003): |
DDR is the best. I like it because the attention I get when I play it and its a good exercise and its a cool game. I guess I get alot of attention because i'm only nine and play on Heavy:).(I've been playing for 2 and a halph years) I remember seeing people playing it and asking myself can I really be that good? You should see me now I could get a B on So Deep in Heavy Mode. I am still working on the oni mode. One of my favorite songs is So Deep. It has alot of 16th or 8th notes i forget. DDR is a good game for all ages. My advice is to all beginers is don't give up and always practice.
