I saw comertials and add for it and thawt nothing of it my frend gave me a demo disc he didnt want and i couldent stop paying the demo got the game the next day played it for 19.5 hours stat with only 3 hours of sleep i never ever was that adicted to a game the second one o bought two days after getting the first and played for 25 hourd and beat it theres still more to do and lots of time to do it till the third my frend called me inhuman to beat a game with 3 hours of sleep i practicly have morized the game this is the best game ever and the second is awsom i never deame a game could be so fun and thay threw the second out a year later is asonishing this game is dekinetly differnt. the charicters had life to them anger and comidy grafics are unmached in the first and explosive in the second this game will last atleast 100 houers to compleat every thing and even more in the second the first was 20$ thesecond was 40$

Best playstation2 game I've ever played. It was Fun, challenging and lasted. Had a blast playing with all my family. It's a game that you can take turns playing with others. The game was never to hard that it couldn't be beat. That was a plus with me. I loved the fact that you can go through the entire game over and over again. Ratchet & clank never ets boring. Going comando lives up to the first one & more. I can say I'm a Ratchel and clank addict now. A must buy must have game!! Fun for all ages and I mean that. My 6 yr old does some of the boards for me.

I thought this would be another game were you start and play and complete in a night or two but the gameplay was great and the game has good length. The graphics are great and the storyline is very good aswell! With a ton of gadgets and weapons you can never get bored! Rachet is a classic hero.. funny, powerful and smart all at the same time. This is a definit 10 outta 10! Its very very very very very very very very very very very very veryv ery very, immensly,immensly,immensly,immensly,immensly GREAT!! A really good buy for anyone with a ps2 and the follow up to this game will find it hard to match the quality of its yunger bro.

I love it! I got so far in only 4 days I'm halfway done with the game and it only took me a half week! It has the best graphics and gameplay it also has cool evil monsters like the ones in blarg station! It has tons of awsome weapons and great sound effects! THe only set back is that in the hover board race its soo hard to beat, I mean come on could your hover board get any slower? But my best friends bro beat the race for me thank you so much Jr!! Anyway if you are the action adventure kind of person then this game is for you! Its totally worth the money! I haven't played going commando but i hear its pretty hard anyway peace out Anime 4ever!

Hello everyone! I own R & C for PS2 and I just loved it!
The graphics: I found that the graphics were extrordinary! The in-game graphics were just as good as the cinematics. The game took careful care in making each little detail show. there have been other games where there were almost no curved edges. Also, the levels were extremely well made. In "metropolis" on the planet "Kerwan", it looks like i can see for miles in every direction and still see towering skyscrapers.
Gameplay: I found that the controls were good enough to use effectley. But what really stands out is the weapons and gadgits. There are around 36 i think. I just love the Telsa Claw. oh, and guys, here is a stradegy for quick bolt grabbing: First, you need the hologuise and the taunter. Go to Black Water City, Rilgar. Use the hologuise and enter the race. They will think that you are fixing it and then you can walk around on the track. Next, walk to the suspended platform with all the bolts on it. No here is the trickyest part, make Ratchet face the crates of bolts but make sure the camera doesent, (so you can't see the crates). After that, turn on the taunter. The crates will braek and the bolts will come flyin'. Somehow, the crates always regenerate when your not looking, so a continuis stream of bolts will come at ya. all thats left is to tape down the circle button and shut off the t.v. In about 5-8 hours later, you should get enough bolts for the sweet, sweet, R.Y.N.O.
Also, when you have a "Presuader", it only works on new weapons and gadgits from a Gaditron vender. It will not work for ammo, the R.Y.N.O. salesmen, or "Steve".

Ratchet and Clank was a great game that streched the limits of the Playstation 2. I agree that it was a bit too easy and they could have included a harder version like in the second one. The weapon designs are outstanding and I love blowing s**t up. Even though the R.Y.N.O is good I belive the best weapon is the tesla claw. Once you have the R.Y.N.O the game is a breeze and you can beat drek fast giving the game no real challenge after you have it. I am now trying to get as many bolts as I can, I have 1,278,078 so far.

Ratchet the Lombax(A kind of cat-bat hybrid)and Clank the robot are a duo who are on a mission to save the galaxy and its up to you to help them save it.Ratchet and Clank is a platformer classic that every PS2 owner should have.The graphics are top-notch,the sound and music is spectacular and each piece of music suits every planet perfectly.The gameplay is much more different from spyro but is much better.It takes ages to complete this game,collecting bolts,finding golden bolts,performing tasks to earn skill points and saving up to buy a giant missile laucher is only a tiny part of the game.Plus you get tons of weapons,tons of gadgets and you can even play as Clank.Ratchet and Clank is much like a sci-fi version of Jak and Daxter but much bigger and much better.The more weapons and gadgets you get the more powerful you become.Ratchet goes from mechanic to warrior from warrior to hero.Clank goes from robot to backpack from backpack to sidekick.Ratchet and Clank is extremely addictive,once you start playing it you can't stop playing it.This game is definatly,definatly better than Spyro.Well done insomniac!Well done!

Rachet and clank really seems to steal the spot of stardom in gamer's hearts, with brilliant graphics, relaxed and fun gameplay, and a stunningly original storyline. Their is a barrack of weapons, gadgets and equipment with which to eliminate your enemies, traverse planets, and impress sports fans. There is an impressive number of diverse fiends to battle, and dumbstriking worlds. The cinematics bring endless joy to viewers and can be watched infinte times. The single trivial aspect I found in this near-immaculate game was the style of fighting and counter-attacking of the enemies; their physical response to your assault seems to be too simple and childish. Also, the cheats are slightly lacking (why didn;t u add a cheat for infinite bolts, Insomniac! I would really need that R.Y.N.O.!) Though Ratchet and Clank is arguably a copy of Jak and Daxter, even so, if I find it much more interesting and impressive. The thing I enjoyed is mainly "Insomniac"'s persistently jolly mood of Ratchet in particular, which keeps the player's expectations high. The speech is humorous and cliche-free. I am eager to give this game a full rating, but let's be realistic-no game is perfect. On a more accurate scale, i would rate this game 9.7/10.

You have to be kidding me! When I first heard of this game, I figured it was going to be something like Jak and Daxter- another dumb game like that. When I finally got down to playing it, I was shocked. The graphics are awesome, the countless gadgets give the gameplay alot of worth, and the ability to maneuver Ratchet easily is priceless for beginners. I gave this game a definite 10 of 10 booya! I also think it's cool that you can actually enjoy some of the cinemas, and that they are more often then some of those dumb games where they have a cinema for every little thing. Not to mention that the attitude of the game is $#< remove me > at !y and cool, and yet, the gore is minimal, making it an any-age kind of game. Not to mention the fact that the levels are detailed, the storyline is DEFINITELY original and a little whacked, and, oh the gadgets you can find!

Rachet and clank was so cool.It was to easy to beat, though. I'm now on the third level in r&C 2. r&C WAS A GOOD GAME OVERALL. It was very fun and exciting. I especially liked when you had to face Drek. It was really easy, if you had the R.Y.N.O.Man, it took a while for me to save up 150,000 bolts for it,but in the end it was worth it.I reccomend it to all.

this game was sweet!! i recomend it for all ages.it is a little hard.i thought it was going to be bad game cause i got it for 17$. i still cant get r.y.n.o!ive heard its sweet.i need 90,000 more bolts!its not hard to figure out and im 12(some 20 year old said it would be hard for somone thirteen!!!!!!!

The best thing about the game is the movies. But, some movies are boring so if you press start, you will skip it. here's some good news. On November 12 2003 a new ratchet and clank will come out called ratchet and clank gone comando. I really enjoyed the first one...so did my Dad. We can't wait for the second one to come out. I think the weapons are awsome but I think the next game will have much, much cooler weapons.

spyro the dragon was awsome but rac was better there are tons of skill points i got some frustrating but any way......on dreks fleet if u go through the water tunell thing with out losing a hit point u get a skill point if ur wondering how to get the cheat "hey over here" lure the crab enemys into the force field and to get the gold bolt on ratchets home planet veldin the one with the force field use ur taunter to lure the frog behind the field into the button ......well its the best game i played and i cant wait for the sequel..........p.s use ur taunter for hey over here im kidin the game wasd good because the graphics were better thans spyro and the sound 2 the only thing that wasnt good was nothing this was the best game i ever played

I just love the wide selection of weapons from the bomb glove to the R.Y.N.O. they're just amazing. I couldn't get over how much some of them were. some were like only 2,000 bolts and others were 30,000 to 150,000 bolts. some of the skill points are hard to get with them as well. does anyone know how to do girl trouble on Blarg station, and if they do does it envolve a weapon?
